This idea was pointless. . .
This idea isn't one she'd found fun. . .
So why was she here you ask wasting her December 23rd in cold, simple answer: Cattastic Kitty Cat Noir. He wanted her to participate. So here Deer Heart sat, arms crossed over her pale pink underbelly careful of the bouquet in her left hand. Glaring into one of her front pockets, inside a pink envelop rests.
'Things I do for that Black Cat.'
The petit anti-heroine thought as she outwardly sighed. Just waiting for everyone to show up. Pale pink eyes behind her light brown mask in outward pink trim glance up at the starry night sky. Her skintight pink thigh length boots dangling over the Effiel Tower railing.
Feels like forever until her pink deer ears twitch, as more feet "cautiously" approach her. Deer Heart rolls her eyes, turns her head to the side, glancing at them. Genuinely smiles towards Carapace, with a nod of her head.
A friendly Carapace is about to open his mouth, when Ladybug's Yes Woman cuts him off. . .
"Nothing to steal, so why are you here?" That question clear hostility attached. Both with bags over their shoulders. DH knows what they contain. It brings a cold smirk to pink glossed lips. She stares at the fox. "It's near Christmas, Rena, I'm off the clock. Ask a certain black cat why I'm here."
Rena Rouge raises an eyebrow at that. Still glaring at the girl, she sits far from her on the railing. Tho turns annoyed her Carapace sits near the thief. He blinks at Rena, gives her a sheepish shrug and grin. Rena seems to growl at the two, looks away.
"Carapace you know I don't bite." She giggles cutely, side glancing Rena. "You could sit closer." She purrs out, Carapace laughs fondly.
"Thanks Reindeer but I'm taken." DH smiles softly at Carapace's loyal to his love. She removes a pink rose out the bouquet, offering it to him.
"Merry Christmas Carapace." The turtle smiles, taking the beautifully kept pink rose. Deer Heart can feel Rena's eyes glaring at her, the fox turns away again.
"Give your girl, this for me. Tell her lighten up, it's Christmas." She whispers to the turtle.
Rena's fox ears twitch, Carapace approaches his fox girl. "Rena play nice please. She's not up to anything right now." In his green glove he offers Rena the pink rose. Rena smiles taking gently from him, seeing he has one too. Glancing over his right shoulder at the petit deer, a real smile is shared.
The deer and fox nod to one another. Carapace sighs in relief. "Thanks girls." Deer Heart and Rena turn to find King Monkey and Pegasus getting closer. Deer Heart tries to calm a forming headache. Both monkey and horse are carrying bags too.
King Monkey gasps at the deer, "Wow hey! Hand over whatever you-"
He's cut off by a suspicious Pegasus. He places a black glove hand on his teammate's stretched left arm stopping anything more from the loud annoying monkey. "It appears she's docile. Rena and Carapace aren't injured." Pegasus states.
Rena smirks "Thanks Mighty Ape, I know." Agreeing with KM, Carapace sighs "Dudes, Deer Heart isn't-"
"You're enemy tonight." The deer herself gives the Monkey a superior look.
Deer Heart sighs outwardly, "Thank you, dear Pegasus." She gives the dark skinned boy an alluring look. He blushes composing himself. Deer Heart gets off the railing finally walking towards Pegasus. KM is a step in front of him, glaring at DH. The smaller girl gives him an angry look.
With a dismissive left pink glove she yawns bored. Looking at monkey as if he's beneath her. "It's Christmas you Chimp Chump. Get out my way." DH takes two pink roses out the decreasing bouquet.
"Here, Pegasus Merry Christmas. Give this one to your brick wall here." She states as Pegasus walks around KM taking the pink two roses. Deer Heart walks awsy from them sitting back on the railing away from everyone else.
"Merry Christmas as well." Pegasus says with a nod. DH over her shoulder smiles, blows a tiny kiss towards him. She giggles as he looks away, more of KM yanking away from her.
As the 4 chat away, the pink deer glares at them. Specifically that fox and monkey. 'Once Kitty shows up it's all worth it. Be nice, continue to BE NICE!' She thinks resisting the urge to leave.
"Hey everyone, sorry we're late- Thank you for showing up Deer Heart."
That female voice is one Deer Heart could do without. The oh so Miraculous Leader Ladybug. . .
Pale pink eyes stare straight into bluebell eyes, the deer gives a nod to the smiling bug. She turns to Ladybug's side to see Viperion. That snake holder was always a mysterious to her.
"Hello Deer Heart, you aren't up to anything are you?" The snake asks curiously yet NOT scolding. She smirks kindly, looking around him as Bug greets everyone present.
"It's close to Christmas, I'm off the clock. Worry not, I'm good." Her casually to lazy answer has Viperion shake his head with a teasing smile. Before Viperion walks away DH gives him a pink rose.
Cat Noir's laughter is heard from behind where Ladybug came from. The others finally see him emerge. . . with Ryuko dancing up to them?!
"Merry Christmas guys." Cat Noir states as he twirls Ryuko under his right arm. She leans against him cuddling, his right side. His right arm around her waist. That display shocks a great portion of the supers. None more so than Ladybug and Deer Heart.
Ryuko smiles shyly but states calmly "Yes we are dating. This Frisky Feline of mine wanted to wait to until now." She turns to Cat kissing up his jawline. He smiles staring memorized by Ryuko.
Ladybug opens her mouth trying to break the silence among the supers. She glances at everyone in turn. The voice that breaks it is. . .
"I'm thankful I lost to Ryuko instead of Ladybrat. So congratulations to you both. Kitty you look happy and loved." Deer Heart finishes with a smirk, blowing a kiss to Cat Noir that's makes him smile tenderly.
Turning her head away from everyone to look over the Effiel Tower railing for umpteenth time this night. 'Can I leave soon? Come on already!' The petit anti-heroine's thoughts are clouded in annoyance.
With that cheers erupted around DH for the Black Cat and hiss Darling Dragon. Rena Rouge smiled small knowing her ship is dead. Carapace just congratulated Cat Noir greatly. As did Viperion, Pegasus and King Monkey said Monkey asking inappropriate questions to the happy couple.
DH does turn slightly to see Ladybug actually frozen in place, she doesn't appear to be blinking. DH's bored look turns into a sslloooww smirk. 'Huh she's taking it hard. Pleasent suprise, suffer Bug he's finally over you.'
Golden reptilian eyes look to Ladybug. She walks over now concerned, places a black glove hand atop her red black-spotted left shoulder. "Ladybug are you alright? You seem perplexed."
With everyone conversing DH focuses on the Dragon and Bug. Ladybug sighs letting out a smile at Ryuko. She removes her hand off Ladybug. "Yes, I'm fine. I'm thrilled for you too." She nods towards Ryuko. The Dragon can't hide a blush as she turns back to Cat Noir. Walking over to him, she grabs his right hand in left. He turns smiling at her, squeezing her hand.
Both (really 3) don't see Ladybug clench her fists at her sides. 'Adrien and Kagami dating I could take. But learning Adrien is Cat Noir. All this time wasted.' Ladybug sighs walking over to DH jumps on the railing. She claps her hands to grab everyone's attention.
"Okay people, we all have plans. Secret Santa start off." Ladybug jumps done walking into the crowd of friends. Well DH still sits on the railing. Cat Noir walks over towards her, he already gave Viperion his present.
"Hey, Deerie please come down and join the fun." Kitty states softly. Patiently walking for her to turn to him. "Thanks I'm good right here. Cattastic Kitty Cat Noir, I love you. I'm thankful you truly seem too." Pale pink eyes look loving into cat emerld green ones.
Cat Noir leans over to hug her. DH melts into his shoulder. Ryuko calmly walks over, Pegasus gave her, her present from him. She and DH nod as Cat releases the deer girl. She shows Dragonoir the smaller bouquet. Cat Noir takes both roses, handing one to Ryuko. Deer Heart smiles as they share a soft peck of their lips.
"Merry Christmas, bless your happy relationship." DH bows her head at the two. They do the same. Cat Noir reaches to squeeze the deer's left hand. Eyes lock he lets go, they walk away Ladybug and King Monkey walk over.
DH rolls her eyes. "Finally!" She exclaims dramatically. She tosses the last rose at Bug and the pink envelop at the Monkey.
"Merry Christmas Chimp Chump that's 50% off gift card at any sports store in the city. Don't ask how I got it. Now good-bye." Deer Heart's arm is grabbed by Ladybug before she can leap away.
"Thanks, I so could use this." KM smiles in near giggles walking away. Leaving the Bug and Deer alone.
Pale pink eyes glare at the hand on her arm. She looks across at the Bug. "Remove or lose it " Ladybug gives her a dry annoyed look. Bluebell eyes look at the pink rose on her other hand. "Thank you for the rose anyway."
Ladybug removes her hand to grab her yo-yo. Opening it's infinite holding, she takes out a small box from it. Deer Heart's eyes widen. "You're my Secret Santa?!" She shouts in disgust. About to leap off the railing again.
"It's a costume made coupon book." She explains quickly. Pale pink eyes turn to Ladybug grabs the booklet. Flipping through the pages, DH smirks. Before closing it DH takes a slip out.
Ladybug reads it, smiles sadly. "Go ahead." She readies herself. When WHAM DH uses her black flute like a bat and hits Ladybug with it in the stomach. Clenching her stomach, Rena rushes over from talking to Pegasus. Holding LB close.
"HEY YOU VILLAINOUS WITCH!"
DH smirks at Rena. "Thanks Ladybug, Merry Christmas."
With that DH uses her flute summons a tornado of pink cherry blossom petals and vanishes.
