Kacey had just back to the airport. She went over to one of flight attendant friends. Her name was Gia.
"Hi." Kacey said.
"Hi." "You look happy."
"I am."
"Did you go see your boyfriend?" She asked smiling.
"For the millionth time Gia, John is not my boyfriend."
"Right, just your friend with benefits."
"Absolutely."
"How long are you gonna kid yourselves?"
"We're not kidding ourselves." "We're friends, who like having sex with each other."
"So you wouldn't be mad if he started dating someone." "Not at all." "We talk to each other about the people we date."
The next morning John was in the hotel gym.
"Hey John." Randy Orton said coming up to him.
"Hey."
"Did you see your "friend" last night?" He asked using air quotes on the word friend.
"Yes I did."
"When are you guys gonna start dating?"
"We're not."
"You know you have feelings for her."
"I do care about her but we don't have those types of feelings for each other." "We're friends." "That's it." "We don't have to worry about emotions, we just have fun."
"So you wouldn't mind if she was having fun with someone else?"
"Nope." "We're not together." "I see other people and so does she."
"What if one of you got into a serious relationship with someone?"
"We would be happy for one another."
"Bullshit."
"We would."
"Right." He said not believing it.
Flashback
It had been a week since Kacey had broke up with her boyfriend. She was hanging out with John in his dorm.
"I'm so sick of men." She said. "Why do feelings have to be involved?" "Why can't I just find a guy to have sex with, with none of the commitment bullshit?"
"Maybe we could."
"Could what?"
"Have sex with no commitments." "We're already friends."
"What if we don't like having sex with each other?"
"Well let's find out, come here."
Afterwards they were laying.
"Wow." She said.
"Yeah." "See I told you we told like it."
"You were right." "If we're gonna do this we need a few ground rules." "No jealousy."
"Agreed."
"We can date other people."
"Agreed."
"Absolutely no saying I love you."
"Come on Kace, this is us." "We'd never fall in love." He kissed her.
