TRIVIA: What do you think Mya has up her sleeve? I'll give you a clue. It's an episode reference. (you can just guess the situation, the episode reference will be revealed in the next chapter, another chance at trivia)
?-?
Mya looked around the small office Friday morning. For being such a small office, it sure was bustling. Probably with mostly illegal activity, though most likely, most of the employees weren't aware in the least.
"You OK?" Josh asked quietly, seeing her looking around with wide eyes.
She silently nodded.
"If it's too hard, we can have someone else go in."
She violently shook her head. "No, I have to go."
Just then, a woman came out, calling their name.
"Ready?" He whispered.
Mya nodded. "Yep." She said, getting up.
?-?
Carla happily hummed as she did work around the house.
"What are you so giddy about this early in the morning?" Bob asked, coming into the room after being dropped off by Jack.
She smiled at him. "All my kids will be under one roof for a few days in less than a week. That's something to sing about!"
Bob chuckled. "Yes, I guess it is. Being a bachelor, I guess I missed out on that."
"Yes, yes you did." She replied.
"Can I help you get ready?"
Carla looked at him in shock. "What? You'd like to help with work?"
He shrugged. "I don't have anything better to do, and I'd like to have your joy you're gleaming right now."
Carla laughed. "Alright, good. Cause I have some boxes that need to go up into the attic.
Bob sighed. "I didn't exactly agree to hard labor."
Carla laughed as she led Bob to the boxes.

"Mr. and Mrs. Rankin, thank you for coming in. My name's Kim Ashton. I will be handling your case." Kimberly said as she sat down at her desk, Mya and Josh sitting across from her. "I understand you would like to have a child, but cannot?"
"Yes, that is correct." Josh somberly replied, taking Mya's hand in his, the couple exchanging a heartfelt glance. "All we want is to hear the pitter patter of little feet, but our floors have been bare."
In that moment, Mya was grateful she had to wear a mask, as she couldn't hold back a smile, thinking about what Josh just said. It was too funny, and so not like anything he would say.
"Yes, well, we can definitely help with that. I have to warn you, it might take a bit longer than it normally would, due to the virus, and that we are missing our adoption coordinator. She up and quit l haven't found a replacement. I usually only handle the special cases, but am now forced to handle everything. But enough about me. Go home, fill out these forms, then bring them back on your next visit, and we will get this started!"
"Thank you." Mya said as Josh took the paperwork as they got up.
"That's what I do." Kim replied, smiling through her mask.
"So?" Josh asked as they walked outside in the parking lot, taking off their masks in the process. "How does it feel to meet the person that destroyed your chances of meeting your birth parents?"
Mya stared off in the distance, thinking as she walked. Then she smiled widely. "Urgently hiring!" She exclaimed as they got to the car.
"Huh?" Josh asked, completely confused.
?-?
"So how'd it go?" Jack asked as Mya and Josh walked into the bullpen later that day.
"Great, but not in the way you're expecting." Mya replied.
"Here we go with your illusiveness again." Myles replied, annoyed.
"What do you mean?" Jack asked, ignoring Myles.
Mya smiled through her mask. "It means we get to work with the Consultants again."
"And how and why?" Jack asked, curious.
"You call them, have them come here, and I will tell you all. But not before they're here!" She exclaimed.
Jack chuckled. "Alright. I'll call them. Then you tell all of us!"
"You got it!" She replied, smiling widely behind her mask.
?-?
"HELLO!" Sue happily signed when she answered the FaceTime call.
"HELLO." Jack returned.
"WHAT'S UP?"
"WE NEED YOU-4 HERE."
"NEW CASE?" Sue excitedly asked.
Jack nodded.
"EXCITING!" Sue said, smiling. "SEE YOU LATER!"
Once she hung up the call, she waved to her friends to get their attention. "NEW CASE, US-4 GO-TO BUILDING."
"CASE WHAT?" Amy asked.
"DON'T KNOW NOT YET. SEE."
"I'm up for some excitement!" Tara exclaimed, getting up.
"Let's go!" Sue excitedly said, leading the team out to the car.
