Princess Veena was now 5 years old, and she was walking through the Herb garden that Teela-Na and Lynn had been carefully tending. Looking at the now brown and withered herb beds when Princess Veena frowned.
Nearby Teela-Na and Lynn were hanging Herbs to dry, from the opposite side of the drying racks they watched as her took a knee placed one finger on the garden and reversed the withering process, so the garden was green and lush again.
Giving each other a knowing look both women had the same thought, she is 5 and preforming magic most adults struggle with!
Veena looked directly at Lynn and said, "Your having a baby!"
Triston and Lyn had been thinking about it and even trying for 2 years but nothing happened, Lyn was about to tear up when Teela Na embraced her whispering into her mind saying, You don't try to get pregnant Lyn, it happens when you least expect it!
Nia, Teela Na's youngest daughter came in asking, "Mama are Dragons real!
"In a willowy voice Teela Na said, "Yes… yes they are!"
"Why!"
"Cause one of the boy's at school said they weren't…!"
"Granamyr would disagree!" Looking at her daughter Teela Na told her, "Nia you can't go round punching people in the eye, just because you disagree with them!"
"Sorry Mom" Nia said, as Lyn spoke up in Nia's behalf saying, "Is it Nia's fault she is smarter than every other 5-year-old on Eternia with-the-exception of Princess Veena!"
Teela Na just chuckled saying, "No… I suppose not!"
Looking at Teela Na Lynn said, "I know you don't like violence, but Nia was following in her mother's footsteps!"
"It's not that I don't like violence, I don't like violence for the sake violence!" Teela Na said in response to Lynn's comment
Moments later Teela Na sent the telepathic message, Teela could you respectfully ask Granamyr if he is willing to receive visitors!
The Sorceress sent back a cryptic message, Granamyr asks if he needs to go to Nia's School!
I'll let your sister explain when we get there! Teela Na replied as she opened a portal, saying, "Nia would you like to meet Granamyr!"
Suddenly growing wide eyed Nia nods, motioning for the girls to follow her Teela Na heads to the portal!
As they step out just in front of the draw bridge as it touches down Nia runs ahead and right into the throne room. Nia walks into the Throne Room of Castle Greyskull whispering "Sorceress!"
With a flap of her wings Teela floated down off the dais, asking "Lost?"
Shaking her head, no Nia said, "Waiting for mama."
Taking a seat on the Throne Teela say the girl on her knee when the girl asks, "S- Sorceress… A-Are you my S-Sister!"
Teela Na, Lyn and Veena had just reached the door when the question had been asked, taking off her headdress so Nia could get a good look at her Teela said, "Yes, Nia I am!"
With a sense of awed fascination Nia said, "You look just like mama!" Causing Teela to laugh!
"Nia!" her mother called as she entered the room, she spent so much time in over the last 300 years!
"Punch someone did you!" The Sorceress said, examining her sisters' hand and noticing the red abrasions.
Nodding Nia said, "Uh huh…"
Taking Nia's hand Teela healed it saying, "If you're going to go around getting in fights you should know how to make a proper fist!"
"Watch Close!"
Looking at The Sorceress Nia asks, "How come you know how to fight, mama say's The Sorceress never fights!"
"I suppose she would know, but I wasn't always The Sorceress or The Queen"
"My Eldest daughter was Captain of The Guard!" Teela Na said walking in on them getting their attention.
Nia looks at The Sorceress wide eyed realizing all the soreness in her hand was gone.
Not wanting to speak her name in front of Nia Teela Na reached out with her mind saying, Teela I know you gave that life up when you became The Queen and The Sorceress!
I still work the drills mom… Just in case The Sorceress thought remembering the one and only time Skeletor managed to penetrate the Castle, Teela had let them in but she remembered the flaw in defenses as Teela replied, You want me to teach her the basics!
Teela Na nodded saying, "If you wouldn't mind!"
"Consider it done!" The Sorceress said softly looking at her mother.
"Your correct, however unlikely that possibility… The Sorceress should know those skills" Teela Na said looking at her daughter in concern
She may not know what was said but Nia could sense the telepathic conversation between her mother and big sister said, "Hay… no fair talking about me and not letting me hear."
Pouting as she looks at them only to have Teela Na say, "You're going to have to accept there are thing you can't know, not yet at least!
"Besides, One Sorceress was making a request of another!"
Moments later Lynn walks in with 5-year-old Veena, Looking at Teela uncomfortably, Lynn asked, "Sorceress a private moment!"
"Of course!" The Sorceress said gesturing to a small ani chamber and throwing up a magical barrier so little ears can't listen in.
Lynn wasn't sure where to begin as The Sorceress said, "You're about a month along, and you're having twins!"
"Lynn!" The Sorceress said, "Go easy on casting for the next 8 months, small spells will be alright but…"
Lynn silently nodded as The Sorceress said, "Congratulations Lynn!"
Shaking her head Lynn said, "If you had told me 6 years ago, you and I would be the best of friends and I would be defending Greyskull!"
"I know what you mean!" The Sorceress said chuckling telling her, "It does seem odd!"
Walking out to the main thrown room 25 minutes later The Sorceress waves her hand opening a portal to Darksmoke saying, "Tell Granamyr I said hello!"
Minutes later in Granamyrs home Nia was examining the Dragon, she had heard of them even read about them, but this was her first time seeing one.
Suddenly Nia asks, "Mr., Granamyr!"
The Aged Dragon turns to the voice responding, "Yes young one!"
Slightly tilting her head Nia asks, "How come your wings don't have feathers?"
"Big Sisters Do!"
Granamyr started roaring with laughter saying, "Birds and Dragons have a common ancestor young one, but we followed different paths!"
Frowning Granamyr looked at Nia's black eye saying, "Thank you for defending dragon kind Nia!"
Scowling Nia said, "I am not Young one!"
Lowering his head and winking at Nia Granamyr said, "Compared to me your mother is a Young One Too… and she is older than she looks!"
Looking at Teela Na Nia asks, Mama!"
"Nia, I have never hidden the fact I was The Sorceress, I resided in Castle Greyskull for a very long time!" Teela Na explained, just as she was about to explain she was ripped back to reality as her youngest daughter fell to her knees.
"Ma-Ma my back itches! Lots & lots" Nia said in a painful breathy voice as tears started running down her small face.
Granamyr knew what was happening he had seen it happen countless times with young dragons and he sent a telepathic message, Veena, Nia needs you!
Nia started to fidget trying in vain rubbing her back against the wall in a desperate attempt for relief, as she slumped forward Granamyr noticed the muscles of the little girl's upper back and neck twitch uncontrollably.
Granamyr! Came the response from Veena
Unless I am gravely mistaken, I am seeing the first signs of her wings about to burst-forth from Nia's back! Granamyr told her.
Muscle spasms in the back? Veena asks!
Yes! Granamyr said, Come to Darksmoke!
I'm on my way! Veena replied.
Moments later when Queen Veena Arrived Nia's Niece Veena had her own wings around her protectively. Moving-quickly Queen Veena removed Nia's top and ley her down on a nearby bundle of Hay!
The aged Dragon said, "Your daughter is becoming, Teela Na, this is nothing to fear!"
Looking at her namesake Queens Venna asks, "Do you remember! The words"
Veena nods looking at her friend concerned.
Queen Veena and Veena extend their wings around the girl and start singing, in Ancient Eturnian.
"It's Ancient Eturnian, very few still speak it, let alone sing it!" Granamyr said softly.
The concern on Teela Na's face started growing at the Muscle spasms in her daughters back become more severe. Little Venna's eyes become bathed in a glowing gold energy as she places her hands on her Aunt.
In her mind Teela Na head Veena's voice say, be as peace great granddaughter things are well in hand!
Leaning down the 5-year-old Veena whispers something in Nia's ear
In that moment all of Nia's cries of pain stop.
Slowly at first the wings start to break through the surface of her skin before bursting though.
"We have been working together for five years and you never asked!" The stranger said as shifted she into Morrígu and then back into Morgaine.
Winking at Teela Na, she watched as Morgaine hair started growing out over her skin, her form started to change shifting into a wolf, from there she shifted a large raven, and then into a snake then into a wolfbat before changing back into her normal and finally into an Eterniain Tiger before taking her feminine form once again!
Granamyr observes events as they unfold, thinking, A goddess and a shape sifter Intersting!
Turning to look at Nia with wings coming out on her back, Morgaine touched the girl's forehead and Nia was a beautiful Falcon. The chest is heavily streaked with dark plumage, and the underwings are dark. The dark tail has narrow white bands. The dark coloring comes up over the face covering the eyes and face with a darkly shaded beak
"A Merlin" Veena said in wonder
Teela Na Asked, "You know this bird!"
Nodding Veena said, "Nanna told me about them!"
Looking at Teela Na, Queen Veena said, "Take your daughter for her first flight!"
her heart break was obvious as the pain and hurt was reflected on Teela Na's face.
"Imagine Zoar in your mind, or if you wish you can choose the same Falcon as your daughter if you wish!"

Back inside the cave Granamyr looking at Lynnette and said, "Like King Greyskull your children will command the magic of 2 worlds!"
"Only Nana can teach you that!" Looking at her friend and bodyguard Veena said, "Mom said she is a high priestess I don't know what that means Lynn, but I know it's important!"
Walking over to the trio Queen Veena said, "It means she is the equivalent of The Sorceress of Greyskull on her world!"
As mother and daughter flew off Little Veena was exploring Granamyr's home when she found a statue that shouldn't exist a 1500-year old statue of She Ra.
"Granamyr!" Little Veena called, "How come you have a really old statue of Auntie!"
"That is a long story! The Aged Dragon said.
Adora's melodic voice said, "It all started on the day I was supposed to visit your father!"
What Adora didn't realize was Teela Na and her Niece had slipped back in at that utterance and quietly listened to the story.
"Adora" Teela Na finally said, "I can see how that missile would dislodge the portal but how did you get back and why didn't the Greyskull Castle know about this!"
"Well!" Adora said, "My sword alone was not strong enough nether was Granamyr's magic.
The aged dragon came in with, "But together!"
"As far as why you or Greyskull having ho memory, Granamyr gave me control of the portal itself and I returned just before Hordak launched it and destroyed it and the plans as well!"
"And the Canyon just east of here… That's not on any maps?" Teela Na said raising an eyebrow, "The one I saw when me and my daughter took fight!"
"That's my doing!" Adora said meekly under her gaze!
"There was an evil mage called Nazghal!" Adora said letting her long ago memories wash over her, "He tried to start a war between Dragons and Humans!"
Lynn Chuckles saying, "So you created a crevasse!"
Shrugging Adora said, "It Worked!"
Realizing why Granamyr trusted He Man all those years ago Teela Na just smiled!
"Granamyr" Adora asked, "What became of Brightstar?"
"Why don't you ask him yourself!" Granamyr offered.
As they wait all the women stepped outside
Morgaine winked at them and fell backwards over the cliff and then the flapping of large wings was heard, as a blueish/green Dragon rose high into the air watching Nia and Veena as they look over the cliff edge. In that moment they should be hearing the violent flapping of fabric as she falls there is silence.
"Grandma, Veena said, "I don't hear it!"
Looking at her granddaughter Teela Na said, "You don't hear what baby!"
Scrunching up her face Veena said, "Clothes rustling in the wind!"
Looking up at her mother Nia said, "I don't here it either mama!"
Teela Na and Lynn looked at one another concerned.
Woosh, Wooosh, Woooosh, Woooosh.
"AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
First the Dragons head rose-up and into view over the cliff face then is elongated neck followed by a blueish, black body. Looking at the girls the Dragon spoke with Morgaine's voice, "Your looking in the wrong direction girls!"
The girls head and faces went from looking straight down, to straight up rapidly as they watched as the dragon flew up the rock face.
It was only then that Granamyr made his presence known saying, "I know every dragon on the planet, that dragon is not from Eternia!
Both girls snap their heads up looking at the Dragon then to Granamyr, in the background Granamyr's brow shot up into a hing arch thinking, Shapeshifter indeed!
What Morgaine had just done was not lost on Teela Na and Lynnette as both women had the same thought in the same moment, she instantly shifted on the fly while falling!
As the Dragon lands it shifts back into the form of Morgaine. Sitting on a nearby boulder Morgaine says, "Come children I promised an explanation… before I tell you, you must understand that all the animals in nature have something to teach us!"
"T-They do?" Nia said looking at Morgaine in awe.
"Yes, little one!" Morgaine said calmly, saying, "Even if they don't speak!"
Veena asks, "What does the falcon teach!"
Pulling both girls onto her legs Morgaine said, "The Merlin (Falcon) has very good eyesight and can see things at great distances!"
"So, we learn to be observant!" Littlt Veena asks.
"And Nobility!" Morgaine added softly
"Just so" Morgaine stated as Nia whispered something to her.
"From the dragon we learn so many things, on my world they represent the elements themselves and mastery of self!"
"Nia!" Morgaine said, "While I think your black eye is lesion enough, I will give you some advice, A Dragon knows when to fight, and when not to!"
"Huh!" Nia said, thankfully Adora came to her rescue saying, "You do know Granamyr is really smart R-i-g-h-t!"
She nods looking at her Aunt as Adora pointed to Nia, head telling her , "This" Moving to grab Nia's hands Adora says, "Before those!"
