Note: Alright, as a fair warning, there will be 13 chapters after this one. In fact, I can make them as lengthy as possible if you want. But before I continue onwards, I've got something to say to a critic of this story.

mjames577: Dude, I know that this story might seem like something to make you cringe, but it will get better as it goes on. As for the characters, I just wanted to go into detail for how they would react if they heard about their friend being sexually assaulted. I mean, why wouldn't Bert be enraged by the fact something so horrible happening to the love of his life? Why wouldn't the family be shocked to discover that Lisa was put through a torturous event? I know, it's weird that Sophia became a hospital intern, mainly because she's one of the dumbest characters in the show, but I had to put her in there as she left in season 3 for an unexplained reason. Also, Bentley did the right thing by running to George and Nicole and telling them what was going on. Also, calling me awful along with the story is kinda mean. Sure, I'm not the greatest person in the world, but who really is?

Alright, now that I put out my little rant, let's go to chapter 3.

Chapter 3: Lisa Comes Home

When morning arrived, Bert woke up and went down to the kitchen where Ralph and Melissa were having breakfast.

"Morning guys!" Bert said.

"Morning." Melissa said.

"Good to see you're happy, I guess." Ralph sighed.

"Of course I am!" Bert happily said, "Lisa said that I could escort her on the way home!"

Melissa was surprised "Are you sure she's okay with it?"

"Yeah." Ralph said, "Considering what happened to Lisa, I don't think that it's a good idea."

"Well, Nurse Peck DID say that Lisa asked for me or Bentley!" Bert said.

"Hard to believe that she didn't ask for anyone else." Melissa said.

"I also can't believe it." Bert said, "She asked for me despite being violated by some evil creep with no life."

"Now it isn't the time for thinking about that," Ralph said, "Lisa might need your help when she gets out of the hospital."

"Not to mention some physical and mental help." Melissa said.

Bert smiled and said "Well then, this looks like a job for Bert Raccoon: Ace shoulder to cry on!"

Melissa struggled to keep from laughing "You should really get going, Bert!"

"I bet Lisa wouldn't get annoyed with you." Ralph sighed.

At the hospital, Sophia had gotten finished with helping Nurse Peck tend to a patient. For the most part, she did good. The only thing she messed up was using the stethoscope.

"Sophia, why don't you go let Miss Raccoon out of her room?" Nurse Peck said.

"Will do!" The aardvark said as she walked out of the room.

"But remember: let her come out of her room in a wheelchair." Nurse Peck said before Sophia closed the door.

Sophia grabbed a wheelchair and began to move it down the hall. While moving the chair, she saw a small raccoon who was wearing a red and yellow sweater.

"Bert, what are you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm here to pick up Lisa." Bert explained.

"Her family is fine with you picking her up?" Sophia asked.

"Don't worry, I talked to George and Nicole first." He said.

"Okay, if they're fine with it, I'm fine with it!" Sophia happily said before opening the door to Lisa's hospital room, "Lisa, it's time."

"Okay." Lisa's voice came out of the room.

Sophia entered the room with the wheelchair and came out with Lisa. The female raccoon had looked slightly better than how she did yesterday. Even though she still had her bruises, they were starting to fade. She was also wearing a sky blue shirt, black dress pants and a leather choker alongside her pink sneakers.

"You look nice, Lisa." Bert said.

"I wish I felt nice," Lisa moaned in pain, "I'm still sore."

"I'm sure you'll feel better in a few days." Sophia said.

"And after you take a nap and some Tylenol." Bert added.

"Thanks Bert." Lisa smiled despite still being in pain.

Sophia handed her to Bert "Take care!"

"You too!" Bert said as he wheeled Lisa out of the room.

Opening the door to the exit, Bert carefully helped Lisa out of the wheelchair before putting it back in the hospital. Now that that was out of the way, the two raccoons walked through the forest with Lisa limping behind Bert. Every so often, she would need to take a break from walking. Bert didn't mind, but it concerned him that she was let out of the hospital without much information from the staff for the tests they did to her. He was also angry that her rapist was still out there and no investigation had been made to find him. Seeing as what the perpetrator did to Lisa only happened yesterday, it's likely that the police hadn't started an investigation due to no one reporting it yet. After a few minutes, Bert took Lisa's hand and helped her up.

"Thanks," Lisa said, "I don't think that I can walk as much as I could before."

"Don't blame yourself, Lisa." Bert said.

"I wasn't." Lisa moaned.

"I think your house is a few feet away, want me to help you there?" Bert asked.

"Sure." Lisa said.

The two continued to walk, this time with Bert holding Lisa's hand. When they were near Lisa's house, they saw that a police car was parked near it.

"What are the cops doing here?" Bert asked.

"I hope that no one is in trouble!" Lisa said.

"I'm sure that it's something minor." Bert said.

Bert then led Lisa to the door, where he knocked on the door.

"I'll come in with you in case they interrogate you." He said.

"Thanks Bert." Lisa said as she kissed him on the forehead.

All of a sudden, the door opened and George came out.

"There you are Lisa." He said, happy to see his daughter, "Come on, there's someone I would like you to meet."

"Can I come in?" Bert asked.

"You're welcome here, Bert." George said, "You can come in anytime. Unless you do something horrible."

Bert and Lisa entered the house, only to be greeted by a bull terrier in a police uniform. Sitting next to him were Nicole, Bentley, Ralph, Melissa and Cedric.

"You must be Lisa Raccoon." The terrier spoke.

"Yes, who are you?" Lisa asked.

"Captain Yancy Pepper of the Evergreen Police Department, Miss." The terrier shook her hand, "Please take a seat."

Lisa sat down next to Nicole.

"Now then," Captain Pepper spoke, "Lisa, I would like for you to tell me about what happened last night."

Note: That's a bad place to end this chapter, but I just wanted to get it done. If any of you are wondering why Bert didn't carry Lisa in his arms like how a knight would a princess, think about it: Lisa is taller than Bert, so I don't think that he could carry her with no problem. Keep in mind that this is my first fanfic for The Raccoons, so I won't exactly be portraying the characters in the most perfect way possible. I'm not just using rape as a form of drama, I'm also using it to show how horrible of a crime it is. Don't think of me as some sadist when I include a rape scene, I'm mainly including one to make the story's antagonist as loathsome as possible. Until next time guys, peace!
