A.N. How was the prologue? If you're reading this, I'll just assume that this has caught your attention. So some more things, you should know about:

The names of the characters would be following that of the english translated names on webtoon. So Khun (Koon), Rachel (Lahel) and Jahad (Zahard) will be used. (More may apply to this statement.)

A couple of the characters may have a slightly different personality.

As much as I wish I could have Baam be a little less naive at the beginning, it would harm the plot so yeah.

Also I can't kill that backstabbing ugly (I'll refrain from cursing) monster named Rachel.

Headon's Pov

'Another irregular already? Interesting, if I remember correctly there are two on the next test, so this would make three irregulars that came recently.'

'He doesn't seem to be very athletic, just look at that skinny body of his, doesn't look like he could run much, unlike the last one, Baam. He was pretty agile. I guess, I'll just introduce myself.'

"Welcome to the tower, young man. My name is Headon. I'm the guardian of the first floor of the tower." I spoke to the human. "What is your name, young man?"

Third person view

"Welcome to the tower, young man. My name is Headon. I'm the guardian of the first floor of the tower." Said the strange creature. "What's your name, young man?"

"My name is Lelouch Lamperouge" Said Lelouch, while scanning Headon for any hints of aggression.

"So tell me, Mr. Lamperouge, how did you end up here?" Asked Headon.

"Um, I just appeared here."

'Not a complete lie.' thought Lelouch.

Headon raised his staff and then pointed upwards with his staff and said "Whatever you seek is at the top of the tower, whether it be money, power or something else. Now tell me, Mr Lamperouge would you be willing to embark on this painful journey up?"

With resolve, Lelouch answered. "Yes, I will reach the top of this tower and get a second chance."

"Excellent, I'll now give you your test."

"Wait, I have two questions first."

"Ask then"

"What is shinsu and what test?"

"Shinsu is a substance in this tower, it's what allows us to breathe in this tower. You may even be able to control Shinsu and move it around as you please. It can take the shape of gas in low concentrations and water in higher concentration. As you climb the tower, the Shinsu concentrations will increase. As for your other question, there is a test on each floor to see if you qualify to go up a floor. They are determined by the administrator or ruler of the floor and the difficulty varies depending on how high you are."

"In other words, Mr lamperouge, you will need to pass my test to proceed to the next level."

The balls on Headon's staff lit up, revealing a caged room, with a beast that resembled a black lizard on hind legs. The monster has a red outline on its mouth and a red eye. It carried a black spear-like weapon.

"That beast is called "The Bull", it's found on the irregular test on the Evankhell's floor. To pass this test, you have to pop that ball over there. Very simple, just avoid or kill the monster and pop the ball. Are you scared of it? How can you pass this test if you're scared of "The Bull"? IF you're frightened by it, you'll never get that second chance that you want."

"But think rationally, Mr Lamperouge, you'll never be able to pass the test. Just look at yourself. You'll look like you'll die from running for a couple minutes. It's a suicidal test. "The Bull" is incredibly fast, you won't be able to outrun it at all. So why not just forget about this and go home?"

Lelouch growled at the insult about his lack of endurance, and proceeded to head toward the cage.

Welcome to the tower, Mr lamperouge.

A.N. I chose the "The Bull" from the Deep sea herding test because the "white armored eel" seems a little too tough for Lelouch as his power of geass scales with his shinsu power and since he does possess a thirteen month series weapon, as well the fact that the eel belongs in a test for floors above 20.

Headon's Pov

'Hmmm, what is that boy doing? He has no weapon. How is he going to pop the ball? The only way would be to use the spear that "The Bull is holding". He has no way of killing the bull or stealing the weapon. He doesn't seem like a person who would rush in blindly without a plan. This is going to be interesting.'

Third person view

Lelouch entered the room, walking through the bars. As he approached, he reached up toward his eye and took off his contacts. The Bull upon seeing Lelouch, charges directly at him, stretching out its head with its mouth open.

Looking directly into The Bull's one eye, Lelouch spoke. "Lelouch vi Britannia commands you, destroy the ball and then kill yourself."

"The Bull" stopped in its track and as if in a trance, made its way to the ball and proceeded to puncture the ball with its spear. Upon popping the ball, "the Bull" turned the spear upon itself and slammed it into his head, breaking the skull, through the brain and through to the other side of it's head. Blood ran down it's head from the fatal puncture wound, forming a pool of blood, bits of bone matter and parts of the brain.

Headon's Pov

' What the f**k was that. It killed itself after destroying the ball. This boy is a monster. An ability to make things kill themselves and do his bidding is bad enough, but it seems that he has no problem using it without hesitation. It's not a boy that I'm looking at, but a literal monster. I should send him on his way already. The less time, I am near this boy, the better."

"You pass the test, Mr Lamperouge. You may proceed. But before that, take this. Its called a pocket. It basically translates the many languages spoken in this tower into one that you understand."

"Now go."

Leluch's Pov

'Headon said I could proceed, but I can see a little nervousness in him as much as he tries to hide it. He seems nervous at what I just did. Did I do something wrong? It doesn't matter right now, I'm going to proceed to the next floor. He then handed me an orb that looked like it had paper with text wrapped around the orb. The orb burst, scattering paper around me, reforming into a nearly complete black orb with text on the surface.'

Third Person view

The popped ball suddenly enveloped Lelouch taking him to the next floor as the ball crackled and sizzled into nothingness.

A.N. This is why I put another limitation upon Lelouch's geass, as it won't be interesting if Lelouch just told all his enemies to die or make them his slaves right. It wouldn't be entertaining enough for the collective unconsciousness, but I digress.
