This will be a Law x Oc story and it is rated Teen because of blood and language . If anyone reading this likes it and is also good at writing we should team up.

Chapter 6 I'm board
3 days has passed and Rinka still hasn't woken up after they left Amazon Lily and everyone started getting worried. But Law didn't let anyone go to the clinic to check on her unless they were actually hurt. The only person other than Law was allowed to check on her was Logan,since he was the second best medic on board. Second to Law that was.
Even Penguin , Shachi , and Zane were not allowed to go check on her.
But Law was too busy to watch Rinka all day since he was still the captain and he was setting course to the next island to dock on . He got Logan to watch Rinka all day when he was doing his captain duties.
When Logan was changing her bandages he noticed Rinka was trying to open her eyes.
"Captain, Rinka is waking up,"Logan said in an excited tone. "What,do you really mean it? ''Penguin and Shachi ask, since they were close by. When the two started asking Logan about Rinka's condition then Law started coming into the room . "Hey,Rinka, can you hear me"was all Law said to the barely conscious girl. "Where the hell am I?"was all she said when she finally woke up. "You're in the infirmary,"Law responded to her question.
"Can someone give me a bucket! "She said while she was covering her mouth.
"Someone get her something to puke in,"Law ordered. "Thank you"was all she said to Shachi while she was puking in the bag she was given. When she was done puking she started breathing harder and her temperature started rising too. "She might have an infection" Law mumbled to himself. "Logan, get a sample of her blood from her and do a blood test to see what causes her sudden symptoms ."
When Logan was done with the blood test he came back and he told him
",Law,she has a parasite in her bloodstream." "Just as I thought"Law mumbled to himself. Law ordered him ",Logan, go inject her with antibiotics and hook her up with a breathing mask." "Hey, is Rinka okay"Penguin asked when he heard what Law told Logan. "She has an infection in her bloodstream,"Law told the two mechanics while he was shooing them away from Rinka.
2 days have passed when Rinka woke up for the first time but now she is still resting in the infirmary room because of her infection. Logan was still with Rinka since his captain ordered him to do so.
When Rinka finally woke up again she noticed Logan was refilling her I.V drip .
She started talking to Logan to get his attention but it was hard to do so because she still had a breathing mask on her. The only word she could say in a washy voice was,"Logan."
Logan started noticing Rinka was awake again when he heard his name being called from her. He then started taking her breathing mask off and started talking to her,"How are you feeling?"
Rinka then replied with a faint voice",What happened to me?
"You had an infection in your bloodstream that is the reason why you suddenly started puking and had such a high fever."
After Logan was done talking to Rinka he then started heading to Law's room to tell him the good news. When Law heard the good news about Rinka he then started heading to the infirmary room to ask her how she was feeling. "So you're finally awake"Law said when he saw Rinka.
"Yep, I'm perfectly fine so I can go back to my room,"She told her captain. "NO! You're not perfectly fine, in fact you are in terrible condition. You're going to stay here for a week."
"He told her in a furious tone when she told him that.
"What am I supposed to do for the next week doing nothing ,I'll get bored."
"If you want I can stay here and give you company," Law asked her as a joke.
But Rinka knew Law was joking so she agreed to his offer. "I like that idea."
At first Law didn't expect that answer but he only smirked at her and started talking to her in a provoking tone ,"Sure, I want to spend as much time as I can with my new nakama."
"Well then fine"she replied sarcastically. As the two were about done talking a knock came from the infirmary door . When Logan opened the door then a bunch of pirates started heading their way to Rinka. First came Zane and Lucas came in ,then Penguin and Shachi right behind them.
"Hey you finally woke up," Zane said.
"You gave us quite a scare,"Lucas said.
"How are you feeling?"Penguin asked.
"Are you getting better?" Shachi' asked.
Rinka at first was shocked when she saw everybody who just came into the infirmary room. She then asked ",What are you doing here?"
"Well we heard you just woke up after being asleep for 2 days so we wanted to see how you're doing." Shachi answered with a sincere tone. "And these guys wanted to see you too!" Penguin added,pointing towards Zane and Lucas.
"But You shoulda told us you were training in the forest and not going gathering plants." Logan said,scolding her like a little child and Penguin, Shachi, Zane,and Lucus were backing him up by nodding seriously. Rinka signed. "But if I tell all of you guys the whole truth then you wouldn't let me go into the forest." "What type of training were you even doing that made you disappear for 2 week?"Law asks in a serious tone.
"I was practicing Armament Haki."She replied. At first Law was confused when Rinka said Armament haki so he asked", What is Armament haki?" She asks",You don't know what haki is ?" "No, could you please explain what haki is' 'Law asked in a curious tone. "There are three different types of Haki. First there is Observation Haki. It allows the user to see invisible enemies. The second type of Haki is Armament Haki is the ability to create invisible armor around one's body. That was the type of Haki I was training for 2 weeks. But it was really hard for me to train in that type of Haki because I needed to unlock it first so one of the kuja warriors was attacking me for a whole week straight until I did so. And finally the last type of Haki is Conqueror Haki is a rare form of Haki that allows the user to exert their own willpower over others.
But this type of Haki can not be attained because only one-in-a-million is even born with it.
I just discovered I had Conqueror Haki when I went to Marineford. That's where I use it on Admiral Akainu and let me tell you he was not happy about that."
"When Rinka was done explaining the three types of Haki . She noticed at first everyone was quiet when she mentioned Admiral Akainu . But the silence was broken when Penguin started shouting at Rinka ",Are you serious you went up against Admiral Akainu?" "Yeah and he almost killed me if it wasn't for "Red -Haired Shanks, blocking his attack at the right time," Rinka said in a shaking voice. When Rinka said the part about her almost dying she noticed everyone's heads were facing down and making their facial expression unnoticeable.
"But that dumb Admiral didn't kill me in the end,"Rinka said as she was trying to change everyone's mood. Before she could say anything else Law then injected her with a sleeping drug without her even noticing when he did. Before she fell asleep the last thing she could hear from Law was",I will deal with you later but for now get some rest."
When he was done injecting her with a sleeping drug he then left the room and his crewmates did too. "Captain, we're about to resurface,"Jean Bart said when he noticed Law was walking out of the infirmary. When he said that he noticed everyone who was with Law had a gloomy expression on their faces. So Jean Bart then asked",What happened to you guys? Did someone die?" "Jean Bart I will explain to you later but for right now can you not mention death or someone dying,"Shachi told him in a whisper. When Shachi was done explaining to Jean Bart about what happened in the infirmary room he then told him the story about how Rinka almost died by Admiral Akainu.
The submarine was already docked and the crew started leaving the submarine to restock on supplies. But Law didn't go to the island they were docked in.
Instead he stayed back with Rinka until the sleeping drug that he injected her with wore off.

"Rinka can you plant these seeds over there,"Rinka's sister asks her. "Yes ma'am," the younger Rinka said to her big sister. "Hey, big sis, when we're done planting these seeds can we start practicing that new sword fighting technique that you showed me yesterday?"
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not your big sister? I'm too old to be that . And second you are supposed to call me master do I make myself clear,"she asked her in an angry tone. "I'm sorry I forgot again,"the younger Rinka said while she was crying. "Hey, hey I'm sorry I lost my temper at you again."
She told Rinka in a sincere tone. "If you're really sorry then could you please sing the song that I loved so much."the younger Rinka said while she gave her master a puppy eye stare.
"Fine" was all she said when she began singing.

When Rinka woke up she realized she had another dream about when she still was training with her master. "Who is your big sis,"Law asked. "Why are you asking me that?,"Rinka asks.
Law then responded to her question ",You mumble big sis in your sleep." "Oh,"was the only word said with a little blush on her face. "She was my master and caretaker.
She was the one who taught me sword fighting and she is also the reason why I became a doctor. She used to be a talented doctor and herbalist in her knight squad. But she was already retired when she started taking care of me and also teaching me about medicine. Me and her are not related by blood but she still loved me as if I was her own child. I really miss her even more when I remember all the good things she did for me."
"What happened to her?"Law asked in a curious tone. "Before I came to the auction house where you found me. I was in a war with a bunch of pirates that attacked my home and killed all of my loved one's and if that wasn't cruel enough they also burned down my kingdom that I was so loyal to. But before the pirates kidnapped me, they made me watch my master die right in front of my eyes. Because she told them",Please take my life instead of my child."
" I tried to stop the pirate that was going to kill my master but his friends just pinned me down and made me watch my own sister die."when Rinka was done explaining to Law what happened to her master she kept a straight face but Law noticed she was holding back her tears .
"Rinka, you don't have to be strong, it's okay to cry sometimes,"Law said in a serious tone. When Rinka heard what Law told her, she started shedding tears from her eyes and letting out all of her emotions.
Law only stares at her with a straight expression on his face but he knows her pain and knows how much Rinka is suffering right now. Law had experienced the same thing when Corazon died for him. After she was done crying, Law then started asking her more questions. "Can you tell me about your medical history like allergies or past injuries,"Law asks. Rinka responded "I used to have bad narcolepsy as a kid but it's gotten better over time ."
"Do you take any type of medication for your narcolepsy?" Law ask with a hint of concerned in his deep voice.
"Yep, I take 2 different types pills weekly for it." She answer with a heavy sign.
"Alright I should get you something to eat" Law said in a casual tone.
When Law came back he brought her a glass of water and a small plate that had rice and fish on it. "Thank you,"she said when Law handed her the tray.
When Rinka was done eating, Law then took the tray away from her, then started leaving so she could get some rest. But before Law left the infirmary he gave Rinka a medical book so she wouldn't be bored when she recovered.
As she was reading she saw that Zane had come into the infirmary. "What happened to you? You looked like you got mugged!"Rinka said in a worried tone. "I got in a fight with Thorn,"Zane responded to Rinka's question.
"Who is Thorn?"Rinka asks in a confused tone. "Oh,you might haven't met him yet,"Zane said to her. Zane responded to her question",Thorn is one of the Heart pirates doctors and my best friend."
Rinka shouted ",Why the hell is he beating you up?" Zane says",We always get into little fights but in the end we always make up ." What kind of friendship is that?"Rinka asked while raising an eyebrow.
"Before me and Thorn joined the Heart Pirates we used to live together on the street just like if we were brothers."Zane said to Rinka while he was getting bandages off the shelf.
4 days has passed when Rinka's road of recovery has begun and Zane,Penguin ,Lucas ,and Shachi have visited her a lot. When Penguin and Shachi visit her they always tell her stories about their adventures they had in the Grand Line. And Rinka also liked how Zane always tells her funny stories about him and Jerry fight about while they cook.
Jerry is the head chef of the ship and was also the oldest crewmember too.
Zane describes how Jerry can be scary most of the time but once you get to know him he is a pretty good guy.
But one day Zane had brought someone else that Rinka didn't know.. She asks"who is this kid?" "Who are you calling a kid demon girl!"Thorn said in a mad tone. Zane then responded to Rinka's question but he had trouble to do so because he is trying not to laugh,"This is Thorn he is actually 24 years old and is 2 years older than me." Rinka shouted "No way in hell this pipsqueak is 24 years old!" Thorn shouted at her, "Who are you calling a pipsqueak stupid!" Rinka responded to Thorn. ",I did you little bean sprout." Thorn then shouted", at least I don't look like a demon with those red eyes."
"Canon you little flea,"Rinka said in an angry tone. Before Thorn could say anything else Zane stopped the two from yelling at each other. Then Zane grabbed Thorn's hand and started heading out of the infirmary room.
3 days passed that means, RInka was finally allowed to leave the infirmary room. When she left the infirmary room she then took a shower. After she was done with her shower she then started putting on a yellow tank top and black pants and finally a long black coat then started heading to her room so she could get her sword. But when she realized her sword was nowhere to be found, she started heading to Law's room to ask if he knew where it was.
"Hey Law have you seen my sword ?"Rinka asks when she saw Law.
Law responded to her question ",Yay I took it." Rinka shouted,"Why the hell did you steal my sword?" Law only smirked at her then responded to her question",Well you don't need it anymore. And for now you need to get permission from me to use your sword." Rinka asks in an irritated tone,"and why the hell do I need permission to use my own sword!"
Law responded in a displeased tone,"I don't trust you that much since you lied to me." "What did I lie about?"Rinka asks. "When we were at Amazon lily and you were supposed to be harvesting plants." "Oh yeah, sorry about that but that wasn't a total lie. I did harvest plants from their forest ,do you want to see them?"Rinka said. Law responded",no that won't be a necessary. And by the way why do you want your sword anyway?"
Rinka responded",I want to train with it to pass the time."
"No!"was all Law's said. Rinka shouted ",Why not!"
Law responded to Rinka ",Because you're still recovering!"
"But I'm perfectly healed!" Rinka responded in an annoyed tone. Before Rinka could say anything else, Law then started grabbing her arm . When he did that Rinka gave out a little weep. "Just as I thought"Law said when he heard Rinka weeping. Law ordered her ",Go back to your room and get some rest."
At first Rinka was pretty mad when Law treated her like a child but she did as she was told. But she didn't go to her room instead she went into a room where no one could hear her. The reason why she wanted to be in a room where no one could hear her is so she could sing a song her master used to sing to her. Rinka's master always told her to sing this song when you're feeling down. But what Rinka didn't know was that her voice could echolo through the small metal submarine .

Penguin, Shachi,Thorn,Zane ,and Lucas share the same room and they were playing poker at the time but they suddenly stop when they hear singing.
"Hey Penguin can you hear that?"Shachi asked. "Yeah,It kinda sounds like singing,"Penguin responded. "But who is singing?"Zane asks. "I don't know but no one in the crew could sing like that. It sounds too beautiful to be one of them,"Thorn said.
"Hey everyone, go start asking the crew if they are singing so we can find out who is the singer."Lucas suggested. When Lucas said that, everyone started splitting up,and were running in different parts of the submarine .
When Zane asked all the people who were currently at the kitchen if anyone was singing? When the head chef heard Zane's question he asked "No, but why did you ask that?"
Zane responded",because I heard someone singing and I want to know who it is."
When all the cooks heard Zane respond to the head chef question they stopped what they were doing at the time then started helping Zane.
When Penguin and Shachi were in the room where most of the mechanics were, then they started asking if anyone was singing.
When Charlie heard the two mechanics' questions he then asked",why do you want to know that?" Penguin replied",We heard an amazing voice and we want to know who it belongs to." When all of the mechanics heard what Penguin and Shachi said they were curious too so they helped Penguin and Shachi with the quest to find the voice they were fond of.
When Lucas finally reached the room where the navigators worked at he then started asking if anyone was singing. Jean Bart then asked",why are you asking that all of a sudden?" Lucas then responded to his question",I heard someone singing and I want to know who it is?" Lucas got everyone's attention when he said that. They then started looking for the singing voice too.
When Thorn went to the infirmary he could see Law, Bepo and Logan were currently doing paperwork. "Hey captain, do you know who is singing right now?" Thorn asks.
At first Law was a little confused at Thorn's question. Then Law started smirking and asked",No,why do you want to know?" "I heard someone singing and it sounds amazing." Law grew even more curious so he decided to join in the hunt for the voice and Logan,Bepo did too because they were also curious.
When the whole crew started searching for the lovely singing voice. Law could hear a beautiful voice coming from the storage room.
Then Law then told his crew in a whisper",come here this is where the voice is coming from. When the whole crew walked in the storage room they could see Rinka all by herself and she was singing. The crew just stood there and just listened to Rinka's beautiful voice.
Rinka was singing for about 2 minutes when the whole crew was listening to her.
When she was finally done with her song she then turned around so she could head back to her room. But when she turned around instead of seeing a door she saw the whole crew with a shocked expression on their faces. When she saw everyone she made a note to herself",Note to self practice observation haki more," After making that mental note to herself she started blushing and then asked",please tell me you didn't hear that." But Rinka knew the answer when she saw everyone's facial expressions.
"Holy shit why didn't you tell us you could sing,"Zane said, with his jaw still on the ground. "Yeah you sound amazing"Penguin and Shachi said excitedly. "I think her singing sucks,"Thorn said.
"Shut up Thorn you're the one who really likes her voice,"Zane said. "Wow,Rinka you're really talented,"Bepo said with a little blush on his face.
"Shut up, I wasn't singing,"Rinka said while her body was turned the other way around so she won't face the whole crew. "Oh ,and what do you call that?" Law asked her in a provoking tone. "Alright I was singing why do you want to know that!" Rinka asks in an irritated tone. Law responded with a little smirk on his face",I was just wondering if you will give us a little private concert ?" "Sorry captain I don't sing in front of people,"Rinka said with a smirk on her face. "Awwww ,but why?"Bepo asks with a sad look on his face.
Then Bepo then says",I'm sorry."
"It's fine Bepo you don't have to apologize I just don't like to perform in front of others that's it"Rinka said to the sad polar bear. Before anyone could say anything else to her she started running away from the whole crew and started heading back to her room. She didn't come out of her room for the rest of the day she didn't even come for lunch and dinner.
It was already the next day when Rinka finally came out of her room.
When she woke up and got done changing into her clothes she started heading into the galley to eat breakfast.
After she got her food she didn't want to make any eye contact with anybody so she just sat by herself. But that plan soon failed when Zane, Penguin,Shachi,Lucas and even Thorn started sitting next to her. Then Zane started talking to her"Well look who finally came out of their room." But Rinka just ignored him and just ate her food.
"Hey don't ignore us ,"Thorn said with an angry tone. "Shut up you little pipsqueak," Rinka responded. Thorn shouted",Who are you calling pipsqueak demon girl!"
She shouted back ",Say that to my face oh wait you can't shorty!" Before Thorn could land an attack on Rinka, Zane then started holding him back. Rinka asked while Thorn was being held back "Like how tall are you 4,5 ftor 4,7 ft?" Thorn shouted at her",I'm 5,1 feet tall and how tall are you?" Rinka then responded to his question,"A whole lot taller than you tiny !" When the two were done yelling at each other they started eating their food.
After Rinka was done eating her food she started heading to the greenhouse to do some work. A few hours had passed when she arrived at the greenhouse but she stopped working all of the sudden when she heard loud cheering coming from the crew.
She wanted to see what the whole fuss was all about so she decided to check it out .
When she came into the same room where all the noise was coming from Rinka could see Penguin was standing next to a betting chart.
She was Curious why Penguin had a betting chart so she asked",What are you even betting for?" Penguin responded excitedly",were having an arm wrestling tournament and were placing bets on who will win." "That sounds like fun ,can I join in,"she asks. When Rinka asked that, everyone started laughing at her then one person from the crew said",no offence but this is a contest of strength and you don't look like the lifting type." Before Rinka could say anything back to the man Penguin said,"I Bet 10,000 beri she will win."
When Penguin said that, they started laughing at him then one of the cooks who works in the galley said,"Hey Penguin how much do you like this girl." Penguin only smirked at the cook and said, I just want to give her a chance." The cook says,"Okay let's start the tournament ,who is going up first?" Zane and Lucas raised their hands first.
Penguin said in an announcer tone",the winner is Zane. When that round was done, Logan raised his hand then Rinka raised her hand too. Logan told Rinka before the match started between them",don't worry girly I will go easy on you."
When Rinka heard that she wanted to teach him a lesson for underestimating a female warrior. She taught him by beating him in less than a second but she didn't go full out because she didn't want to scare away her competition.
"I guess I win."she said with a little smirk on her face. When she said that, she didn't even pay attention to all the shock expressions that surrounded her.
Penguin said in an excited voice"Okay who is next?" Then Shachi and Charlie raised their hands. "The winner is Shachi,"Penguin said after Shachi won.
After that round was done Thorn then challenged Jean Bart to arm wrestle him.
Jean Bart just laughed at the pipsqueak but he still did it. It was a good match but no so surprisingly in the end Jean Bart won against Thorn.
Penguin said in an announcer tone",It's time for the finale, who is going up first?"
Rinka then raises her hand and says,"I want to go back to work soon as possible so I like to go up against Shachi and Zane at the same time." At first Zane and Shachi said no.
But then Rinka offers the two with something they couldn't resist ",If I lose I will kiss both of you on the lips."
When the two men heard Rinka offer they both started blushing then Shachi shouted ,You're on!" Before the three started Rinka could see a lot of blushing on the two men's faces. Penguin says in a pumped up tone",are all of you ready"the three nodded yes",'' Aright in ,3,2,1,Go!" Before the two men could blink their hands had already hit the table. Rinka says in a cocky tone "Sorry boys but I don't want to kiss anyone."
"Alright, who's my next opponent?"Rinka asks. "That will be me,"Thorn responded.
"That will be me" Jean Bart said.
Penguin then holds the two hands and says,"are you ready"the two nodded",In,3,2,1,GO!" The two then started arm wrestling each other and the fight lasted for 15 seconds going back and forth and the battle got even more intense.
But after another 10 seconds had gone by, Rinka's bandages had started coming undone and her arm started bleeding because she wasn't fully recovered from her injuries. When Jean Bart noticed Rinka was bleeding he then stopped arm wrestling her. Rinka asks" ,Hey why did you stop?"
"Have you looked at your arm?" Jean Bart asks. When Jean Bart said that, she then looked at her bloody arm." Then Rinka let out a loud groan that everyone could hear because she was in so much pain. She then started clenching her bloody arm then heading out of the room from where she was arm wrestling in then started heading to the infirmary. Hoping she wouldn't run into Law she was running fast as she can to reach the infirmary without being spotted by him. But luck wasn't on her side when she walked in the infirmary room and Law was sitting right in front of her. "What the hell happened to you?"Law asks when he saw Rinka's bloody arm.
Rinka didn't want to tell Law the real reason why but she did anyway."I was in an arm wrestling contest then my arm started bleeding."
"But I'm fine, it's just a little blood. I don't feel that much pain. I just came here to get some bandages and could you please pretend I'm not here and go back to your work before I came here."Rinka said to the dark captain.
"I don't like to be ordered around,"Law said. "I'm sorry"Rinka in an irritated tone.
"Come here, I'm doing your bandages ,"Law said. Rinka responded,"that's not necessary." Law ordered", I am your captain so do as I say."
"Fine"she replied with a huff.
As she was getting bandaged up she gave out a little weep when Law touched a certain area. Law gave her a little smirk when he knew her weak spot.
"How much longer until you're done,"Rinka asks him with a little blush on her face.
"Not much longer if you just stay still,"Law said with even more of a smirk on his face.
After Rinka left the infirmary she saw the whole crew waiting outside of the room . "Rinka are you okay",Shachi asks. "Yeah, It was just a little blood,"she told him. "Don't act so tough you should of told me you're still injured,"Jean Bart told her in an angry tone . "Don't be so torn up about it,you still could if beat me if you didn't stop. "
Jean Bart says to her "That's not what I'm angry about ,I try to beat you when you are still recovering !". "Well it makes you feel any better you could have beat me even if I wasn't injured,"Rinka told him with a light grin. But that was a total lied, Rinka knows she could have easily beaten Jean Bart in arm wrestle if she was in perfect health, she just doesn't want to show off too much.
After Rinka was done talking to the crew she then started heading back to her room so she could read to pass some time until they reached their next island.
There will be a 2 weeks time skip when the Heart Pirate reach their next island. This is the point in the story I will start writing my own arcs and it is going to be my own story line. But don't worry the Heart Pirates are still going to the New World just not now. I will also make the whole crew stronger as time goes by.
I will also give Law and Rinka power ups too. Since Law was a whole lot stronger after the 2 years time skip in One Piece.
As time goes by Rinka will train her haki and sword fighting skills and she will become really strong so she can protect her new nakama and I will explain her type of fighting style and what she did to overcome the challenges of being the only female in the crew. In future chapters I will give you more of her backstory and the crew backstory too.
