This will be a Law x Oc story and it is rated Teen because of blood and language . If anyone reading this likes it and is also good at writing we should team up.

Title: I'll get even

Chapter 12: Her first snowflake

Just as the whole crew were eating, the doors of the galley opened and Charlie ,the head mechanic, came in. "Hey, we're gonna be emerging soon,and there is an island close by too.

"The captain wants everyone to go on the docks in about 10 minutes."

Just as Rinka was laying on the deck she noticed the temperature was getting colder when they got closer to the new island. Then out of nowhere snow was falling onto the submarine. Rinka was beaming with excitement when she saw the snow because she has never played or even seen snow before, since her home island was a spring island after all.

But as she was admiring the pretty snowflakes that surrounded her, she then shivered and wrapped her arms tighter around herself, her cheeks turned into a slight shade of red. Her white button down shirt and blue jeans didn't help at all in this freezing climate, and her biker boots would probably slip on every wet or ice surface in this island as well.

Rinka then took a short glance at all of the men that were currently leaning on the sub's railing so they could get a better look at the winter island, she could see the whole crew was wearing thick jackets and other types of winter clothing over their white overalls.

"We've finally arrived on a winter island."Bepo said with tears of joy coming from his small beatie eyes. "Shut up Bepo!"Shachi shouted.

Bepo then bowed down his head in depression then muttered the words "I'm sorry."

Rinka then gave a big hug to the sad polar bear. "Shachi, you should be ashamed of treating such a cute,adorable,and fuzzy polar bear the way you do."

Shachi and everyone else in the crew stared at Bepo in jealousy because Rinka just adored him and never treated any of them the way she treats Bepo. "Lucky bear! "everyone in the crew mumbled in anger.

"Hey Jean Bart , how much longer do you think until we reach our designation?"Law asks the large navigator. Jean Bart responded "In about 10 minutes."

After the crew had docked the submarine, Law ordered Penguin and Shachi to ask one of the locals about how long the log pose takes to reset . After the 2 mechanics came back, Law then arranged rooms at a small lodge since they will be stuck on that island for at least 2 days.

Rinka was currently all by herself since the rest of the crew was busy on restocking supplies they had been low on for a while. Honestly Rinka was pretty happy she can get some alone time to herself because she is still not that comfortable to be around with nothing but men 24/7. Just as she was walking around the empty streets a cold breeze brushed softly onto her already pink cheeks. "Agh! Ugh! Shh!" "Oh great, now I've started to catch a cold," Rinka softly muttered to herself.

But Rinka's mood immediately changed when she saw a small coffee shop that also had a warm fireplace in it that looked pretty cozy. She then swissly leaped her cold body into the warm building. When the man who owns the small building saw Rinka, his heart had jumped out of his chest because he never thought such a beautiful woman would ever come into his humble little coffee shop . With her silky purple hair and such flawless skin and let's not forget her perfect line up facial features , but what the man mostly paid attention to Rinka's appearance was her mysterious red-eyes that shine just like a ruby, his heart started pounding faster for each step Rinka took .

" Hi there, what will it be?"he asks a little too excitedly. She gave him a light smile then ordered. "Can I have a vanilla latte and a slice of Strawberry Shortcake?" "Oh crap"she muttered while trying to get her money out of her bag. "Is there a problem?"The barista asks.

She responded with a heavy sigh. "Can you cancel that order? I can't find my money anywhere." "Don't worry about that, it's on the house." the barista said with a large grin.

After Rinka got her coffee and slice of cake she then took a seat next to the fireplace and started reading the newspaper. There was an article about how Luffy went back to Marineford and rang the Ox bell 16 times. Then she also saw that Luffy's bounty had gone a lot up as well. "400,000,000 Beri...not bad Straw hat" she mutters.

Rinka smiled to herself because she was happy to hear Luffy's whereabouts.

As Rinka kept reading the newspaper, eyes widened a little when she saw her captain's new bounty poster.

"Trafalgar Law," 280,000,000 Beli,"it said. "Pttt..oh great,this will really boost Law's already large ego . As she was reading the newspaper, there was one news article that really sparked her interest, " Morgan Phyllis, one of the members of Roger's pirate crew, whose body was discovered in the now nonexistent country of Vernal kingdom. Morgan Phyllis was one of the many corpses recovered after the Beast Pirates ambushed and completely demolished the entire country."

After she read that news article she then slammed down the newspaper on the tall table where she was sitting, then took a small sip on her now cool off beverage. "Mmm... I wonder."

"Hey mister, did you put a certain type of flower in my coffee ?"Rinka asks while taking another sip of her latte. The man nodded."Yes,why are you asking that?"

Rinka shrugged her shoulders. " just curious."

Just as Rinka was doing nothing but laying next to the warm fireplace while reading a small book she got from the bookshelf, a large man had just entered the small coffee shop. "Hey old man, bring me your finest cup of coffee."the tall man demanded.

When the muscular man took a large gulp from his big mug of coffee he then spit it all out at the barista which made him drench with the hot drink.

"What the hell old man, what kind of shit did you just serve me?" the large man angrily shouted.

The barista then shakily bow down his head far enough not to see the heavily built man's scary glare. "I'm sorry young sir, but I just ran out my most important ingredient."

But the large man didn't like what the barista had just told him so he then smashed the huge mug of coffee which made the whole floor cover with broken shards of glass and the hot liquid.

"Do you even know who I am? I'm Captain Boris, captain of the Boris Pirates and with a bounty of 8,000,000 Beri."

The frightened old man then shielded his face with his arms in hopes to cushion the punch he was about to get from the pirate captain.

When the barista then opened his eyes , he could see the same woman who he gave the free cup of coffee to, was now holding the pirate captain's large fist with just one hand. Rinka tried her best not to laugh at the pirate captain's facial expression but she couldn't help it.

"Dahahahaha...are you really that proud with your low bounty. Unless you don't want to lose an arm, you better leave this nice gentleman alone and don't come back to this place ever again." In anger for being laughed at by some dumb arrogant bitch,the Pirate captain then draws out his sword from its scabbard then swiftly swings his large blade around the small building,which almost cuts the barista's head off.

Then with one quick punch the man that tower over Rinka by 2 ft was now lying unconscious on the wooden floor. Rinka then throws the pirate captain's body onto a tall pile of snow just like if it were the same size as a football. "Well that solves that problem ,"Rinka said while dusting her hands. Rinka then turned her attention to the now shocked man "So old man, what ingredient did you just run out of ?"

The man responded with still widened eyes. "A special flower that is sweet and rich in taste if brewed just right and I just used my last petal on your cup of coffee. Since I can't afford better quality coffee beans, the flowers are the reason why my coffee tastes so good."

"Okay then it's settled, I will get you more of those flowers you desperately need."

The man coughed a little bit from Rinka's declaration then started giggling. "Do you even know where they grow at?" Rinka shaked her head signaling she didn't have a clue but her face still remained serious. The man sighs at the clueless girl then hands her a piece of paper, "Here take this , but you will need a skill navigator to read this map. But are you sure you want to do this, it's a pretty gruesome journey?"

The swordswoman only smirked at the gray haired gentleman ", That's okay, I really like a challenge and besides I need to repay you when you give me that free cup of coffee and a slice of that delicious cake." The old man then bends down to Rinka because he can't deny the fact that this mysterious young woman was an angel sent from heaven to reward him for all of the hardship he has been through in his long life. "Thank you! I would have done it myself but this old body isn't what it used to be." Rinka then started blushing and waving her hands high in the air, trying to stop the man from treating her like some goddess. "Hey hey, that's really not necessary."

The crew was gathered in the Lodge's main room, crowded around the large fireplace that took up most of the small space. Everyone turned their attention to Rinka when she opened the inn's door. But Rinka wasn't phased slightly by all of the stares she was getting. Instead she started looking for a certain person in the big group of men. She was looking for Lucas since she remembered he told her he was one of the ship's navigators .

Her search didn't take that long when she saw Lucas next to the fireplace talking with Thorn and Shachi . "Hey Lucas, can you do me a favor?"

Lucas stopped talking to his friends then asked "Yeah, what is it?"

She then handed him the map that the old man had given to her at his small coffee shop.

"I'm going on a little adventure and I need someone to navigate the way."

Lucas took a short glance at the map that he was just now given then gave her a thumb's up signaling he will love to go. Before Lucas could even blink Rinka was giving him a big hug and happily jumped up and down. "Thank you so much, you're the best."

Law cleared up his throat loud enough to get his purple haired swordswoman attention. "So ,what kind of adventure are you going on?" Law asks. Rinka responded with a smirk "nothing special, just picking some flowers."

Lucas gave all of his jealous friends a mischievous grin when he heard what he will be doing with Rinka.

Law let out a heavy sign "Okay, but you 2 better not take too long."

"Lucky bastard" Penguin stated with gritted teeth and everyone nodded to his comment.

The scenery quickly changed from small slopes of snow to rising mountains and cliffs. Every step they took was getting harder when they got closer to get to the top of the mountain. "Hey Lucas , how much longer?" Rinka asks.

Lucas responded while taking another look at the map "Not much longer,if we keep up this pace, we will reach our designation in about a hour."

To reach the top of the mountain, they both carefully choose which rock or hole to climb on because one wrong move could kill them in an instant.

"We're almost there,"Lucas said with a happy grin on his face when he saw the top of the mountain.

Then out of nowhere a tiny mouse fell right on top of Lucas' face. "Shit" Lucas shouted when he was now falling to his death. But Lucas realized he wasn't falling anymore instead he could feel something or someone was grabbing him by his foot.

"Hey hey, don't die on me yet" Rinka jokily said with a grin. With a shaking voice and blushing face Lucas managed to mutter up the words "Thank you."

Rinka then put the frightened Lucas on her back and then started climbing even more until they both reached the top of the mountain. Rinka's eyes bleam in happiest instead seeing more rocks, she saw the flowers they have been looking for.

"Lucas,we made it! We finally made it!"she said after hoisting the rope they use to climb the dangerous cliff. When the 2 were done filling their bags with the plant, they both started planning a way to get back down without getting injured or falling to a certain death.

"Hey Lucas,I have a fun idea."Rinka said while picking up a log. "I have a feeling I'm not going to like this" He complained with a scared look on his face.

Lucas was a little confused when he saw Rinka slicing and carving the huge chunk of wood with her swords.

"We're going to sled down."

Before Lucas could flat out refuse, Rinka had already grabbed his hand then the sled started moving.

"AHHHh… I didn't agree to do this? "Lucas cried out when they started to pick up more speed. But all of Lucas's anger had disappeared when he saw Rinka's smiling and laughing face.

Lucas couldn't help but to laugh along with Rinka because it was a kinda fun ride . Their joyful expressions didn't last too long when both of them realized they were about to crash into a huge rock.

Every single member of the Heart Pirate crew and anyone else who were relaxing in the lobby of the lodge had suddenly collapsed with a nosebleed. "We're back!"Rinka announced while shivering.

"Why are you and Lucas completely soaked head to toe?What I can assume it's water and why are you wearing nothing but your pants?" Law asks Rinka with cross arms.

Rinka then cleared up her throat then started explaining what happened earlier .

Just after they crashed into the huge rock that blocked their pathway, Lucas and Rinka went flying high in the air then gravity started kicking in. Lucas,being the lucky one ,only fell in a tall and soft pile of snow. But Rinka wasn't so lucky,insteading landing on snow. She fell in the freezing cold lake that was mostly covered in ice.

Lucas didn't hesitate one bit when he saw Rinka was in danger so he drove in the dangerous icy-cold lake to save her.

After being underwater for about 2 to 3 minutes, Lucas had finally found Rinka but her shirt was stuck under an enormous block of ice. After he took off Rinka's button down white shirt he then grabbed her now exposed body then started heading to the surface. Since it was so dark in the ice cover lake he couldn't find the same hold he used when he dive in. But Lucus wasn't going to give up so easily. Instead he made his own exit by borrowing one of Rinka's swords then started stabbing the thick layers of ice. Lucas inhaled a huge amount of air after he emerged from the freezing cold lake that almost killed them both, Lucas then brought Rinka back to land so he could check if she was still breathing or not.

Lucas's heart sank down hard into his stomach when he couldn't feel her warm breath onto his now freezing cold face. So he did what any person would do in this type of situation, he put both of his hands on her shirtless chest then started performing the first step of CPR.

After 10 seconds had passed Lucas checked again if Rinka was breathing ,but to his disappointment she wasn't breathing at all. "Please please let this work" Lucas hoped to himself when he made a tight seal onto her mouth then he started blowing air into it.

"And that's how Lucas stole my first kiss and the reason why I am half naked." Rinka said while teasley elbowing the already blushing Lucas.

Rinka was blushing as well since she was only wearing nothing but her bra and pants in front of all the men that surrounded them. But as long as she could embarrass Lucas the same way she feels right now she can deal with all the uncomfortable and lustful stares she is getting. "Shut up, I only did that so you wouldn't die from a stupid death!"Lucas shouted while raising up his fist in anger.

"Yeah, I know and I am really grateful for that."Rinka said with a friendly smile.

After Rinka left the room where the whole crew was either drinking hot chocolate or just laying next to the fireplace, that's when all hell broke loose.

"So what else did you do on your little date?"Penguin asks while cracking his knuckles. "Yeah Lucas, tell us."Shachi added. Lucas knew he was in trouble because he felt a deadly aura that was coming from his own crewmates but he try to play stupid like he didn't have a clue on what they are talking about. "I don't know what you guys are talking about?"He said with sweat drops dripping from his face.

Zane responded with a twitching eye "Don't act so innocent,everyone noticed your facial expression drastically changed into pure happiness when Rinka mentioned the part when you kissed her."

"I had to do it "Lucas shouted at his already jealous and pissed off crewmates. "The same woman who survived in a deserted island all by herself when she was only 11 years old ,had almost really died from simply drowning,"Zane exclaimed in quotation. "As a medic I understand the CPR part. But could you at least offer some type of clothing to cover her half naked torso? " Thorn suggested.

Lucas retorted "Both me and Rinka's clothes were all soaking wet." "I bet you just hated making out with Rinka's shirtless body," Shachi spatted. Lucas realized that his crewmates were too jealous to cut him any slack so turned to his captain for some kind of comfort or understanding. But Lucas couldn't really blame his treatment he is getting from his own nakuma because everyone knew Lucas was a ladies man. Everyone knows he will either make out with every single pretty girl he sees on the islands they had docked at in the past.

And every single time when the Heart Pirates are drinking at a bar ,Lucas and the owner's wife or daughter are nowhere to be found.

"It's getting late, I think we should call it a night" Law ordered his crew .

The log pose has finally reset and the Heart Pirates can now set course to the next island.

Law stood by the door and gave out orders. "I'll meet you guys back on the sub but first I need to run a few errands. "

"Yes Captain"everyone except Rinka replied .

Just before Rinka could leave like the rest of her crewmates she noticed someone was grabbing her hand.

"Rinka,I need you to stay here."

Rinka rolled her eyes knowing she was going to be Law's stupid errand girl again.

She crossed her arms and gave him a pissed off glare. He didn't seem to notice, and if he did he probably wouldn't care.

"How wonderful… being alone with the person I hate the most. Yeah, this is going to be so much fun."she says sarcastically to herself."

"What kind shady ass stuff are we doing this time? Looking for people to be used as test subjects for your what you called experiments? Selling stolen organs on the black market?

Heck,I have seen it all…"

"New clothing you desperately need since you're only sporting a thin tank top ,Miss know it all." He interrupted with a sadistic grin.

"Nnn…" She said, now realizing how wrong she judged Law's intentions.

Law only smirked when he looked at Rinka's "I should have kept my mouth shut "facial expression then handed her his classic yellow and black hoodie with the Heart Pirates' jolly roger plaster right in the middle of the piece of fabric. "For now you can borrow this."

Rinka didn't know how to react from Law's kind gesture so she just put on the hoodie without saying a peep.

The 2 were looking around for a shop that could spark Rinka's interest but so far there was nothing really special. Rinka took her time to look around the empty small streets in hopes she would find something good .

"So Miss Rinka, is it really true Lucas was your first kiss, not to defend you or anything but with a picture perfect face like yours I just assume you had been with some guys at least," Law asks in true curiosity. Well maybe not in curiosity but just a reason to break the uncomfortable silence he grew to dislike when it's only the 2 of them.

"I don't really consider Lucas as my first kiss,I knew he was only doing CPR,but I still wanted to tease him about it. Honestly I never give a shit about romance and my love life at all. I would rather swing my sword around then go on a stupid date. Especially that one terrible experience with this certain guy…. know what nevermind."

"No no go on, I'm all ears." Law said in such a purely curious tone.

Rinka put on a fake smile because it was an experience she would rather forget but still start explaining the story.

"Well..throughout most of my childhood I was either at home reading a book about different types of plants or medical stuff or sparring against the wild life that roamed around the forest that was also nearby my house.

But after I turned 12 years old Phyllis had finally let me go with her to the palace where she works. It was just terrible timing because it was also the same day when a prince from a neighboring country was also coming there for a short visit."
