Chapter 14: Beach Beauty
The metal doors of the yellow submarine flew open and a fuzzy polar bear in an orange jumpsuit ran on the deck with his arms high in the air. "Yes finally, fresh air,"he exclaimed. But his happiness soon turned into sadness as the bright summer sun hit his fur, not making that much of a difference when he was still in the sub.
They had just sailed towards a big summer island. It had a pretty huge town with the most beautiful beaches Rinka had ever seen before for a while. The sandy clean beach extended for miles, the sun shone bright and the water was crystal clear.
"We have reached Kodiak island. I don't know how long the log pose takes to reset; just in case we do have to stay overnight, we will stay in a hotel in town. As long as there are four crew members on board at all times during our stay to guard and keep the sub in check, the rest of you can have a free day. Just don't cause any trouble or draw attention to yourself here because there's a Marine base. If we are low on any certain items then stock up. I want one medic, mechanic, cook, and navigator to stay back. Any volunteers?" Uni, a navigator, Daniel, a kitchen staff, Charlie, a mechanic, and Logan raised their hands to stay behind. "Hey Jean Bart, go dock the submarine. "
Penguin and Shachi and everyone else ran out in their white jumpsuits had their upper parts lowered on the waist, only showing their plain black tank tops they wore underneath.
As almost everybody left the sub, Rinka returned to her room to get change into something for the hot summer climate. She sported a simple pair of white jean shorts which show off her long legs and ended with her new cute brown heels sandals. She also had on a black and white triangle bikini top that showed off her big busty chest and finally a unbutton pink and yellow hawaiian shirt she used to only cover up her back. She tightly strapped on her belt that was holding her 2 swords and first aid kit. Then she tied her long hair that reached to the middle of her back ,left uncut for many months ever since her life as a pirate first began. Normally Rinka won't wear something so revealing in public, especially a pirate crew with nothing but dirty minded men, but it's what most of the women on this island are wearing, so why not.
When she went onto the deck, all of the men who were still on there were now staring at Rinka with drools coming from their mouths and big hearts for eyes. Law looked at the girl with the corner of his eye where he was laying on the now dying polar bear. He had to admit, even if it was just a simple outfit, it really compliments her perfectly curvy, tall, lengthy figure and Law really likes what he sees.
The girl kicks off her sandals then button down her white shorts, then dives head first into the clear blue ocean that feels heavenly and refreshen against her skin. When she finally emerged from the blue sea she heard people calling her name.
"Yo,Rinka!" Shachi called with a big grin and raised his hand. Rinka swam over to where Shachi,Penguin,Zane,Lucas, and Thorn were currently standing or laying at.
"Sup,"Rinka said while ringing out her wet hair.
"So...hot!"all the men thought to themself with a slight tint of red on their faces and not because of the heat.
Penguin then clears his throat. "We don't have any more chores so most of the crew is meeting up at a tavern and we were wondering if you like to join in?"
She nodded. "Sure that sounds like a lot of fun but you know I don't really drink."
They arrive in the bar, and Shachi immediately finds his cheering and already drunk crewmates. The bar was pretty much packed with Heart Pirates and the locals as well. Since Rinka wanted some peace and quiet,she took a seat at the bar, and ordered a large glass of ice tea. Once she got comfortable where she was sitting and reading a book, a tall, flush-face muscular man and his equally muscular and large friends dawdled up to her and creeply stared down at her not so exposed chest rather than her actual face.
But Rinka didn't acknowledge their present one bit; she didn't even look up from her book.
"Hey there, sexy thing, me and my friends noticed you look pretty sad and lonely so we came here to give you some company. " The tall man and his pals all reeked of booze, and they barely could stand up without swaying back and forth.
"We're pretty well-known pirates and I'm Captain Calico, captain of a ship full of strong pirates."Calico stated proudly expecting the girl would just be fond of him.
Rinka loudly closed her book she was reading then put on a fake smile she had been practicing ever since she was a small child.
"Sorry but I'm good."
The pirate captain in his drunken and angry state started pouring his full glass of cold beer onto the top of Rinka's head which also made her book stink of alcohol as well.
Being more of a gentleman the pirate captain also slammed his now empty mug of wasted booze onto the hard ground making a mess for some sorry soul to clean up.
"You stupid bitch! When a man wants to give you company, a woman as yourself should gladly accept!"
"Awww, now the floor's are all wet and sticky." She bent down where he broke his mug then started touching and picking up the many broken shards of glass.
"Sorry about the mess, Mr bartender. Do you have a rag? "
"Oh no don't worry young miss,I can take care of it!"He responded with pure sympathy in his voice .
"Here!"Captain Calico shouted after he shattered Rinka's glass of iced tea onto the already wet floor.
"As always, a woman should always clean up after a man. Then maybe you'll find this more fulfilling."
"Later, stupid tramp!" The pirate captain and his lackeys shouted after they left the tavern without even paying their bill.
"Young lady, are you all right?"the bartender asks with a worried expression on his face.
"Never been better Sir."Rinka responded with a small grin.
"tsk...Dahahahaha! Man,that guy really got me good!" She laughed out loud while getting back into her sticky seat.
"Why are you laughing?! Aren't you supposed to be some badass knight! I have witnessed your monsterly strength, why didn't you beat them up?! You shouldn't let them disrespect you so much!" Thorn shouted either in confusion or in anger.
"I can understand how you feel, but he only spilled some booze on me. It's nothing worth getting mad over about. You may be older than me but you still have a lot to learn about life."Rinka exclaimed with a smirk. "I mean what a loser! Pouring booze on me for not wanting his shitty company."She added and everyone else agreed with her comment.
Bepo spoke up shyly, his beady eyes blinking in respect. " Honestly,I think it's great you didn't fight him, Rinka. It takes a lot of strength to just laugh off such a rude experience." Just before she went back to reading, Law had entered the tavern and took a seat next to Rinka then ordered a shot glass of rum. "Hey Rinka, can you do me a little favor?"Law asked as he was sipping his rum. "Sure what is it?"She asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Wait, you want me to do what?"She shouted not knowing she heard Law correctly.
"I need you to be in a bikini contest, the grand prize is 1,000,000 beri and a VIP ticket to the party that is held at the biggest mansion in this island."Law's simply stated with his classic smirk.

"Come one and all, come watch the Kodiak island bikini contest. Any young and pretty woman can enter, you just need to register at the registration table over there!"A guy with sunglasses and bleach blond hair announced while pointing at a table with a sign up board on top.
The blond hair man kept going on. "The grand prize is 1,000,000 beri and a special VIP ticket to the most exclusive and fanciest party of the year."
"Hello young sir,can I help you with something?"the registration lady asked.
"Yes, I like to sign up a good friend of mine,"Law said with a smirk.

"NO, I love a good contest but I'm not gonna be pushed around like some toy anymore. "Rinka growled.
Law sign "If you win then I won't make you do chores for a whole month,"he offered.
Rinka thought about it for a minute. "Make it 2 months."
Law took another sip of his cool glass of rum. "Deal!"
But poor Rinka didn't know almost everybody in the crew was eavesdropping on their conversation.
"This is the best day ever!"Shachi said to the blushing Penguin,Zane,Thorn,and Lucas and they all nodded their heads in agreement.
"The long wait is finally over,Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the one and only Miss Kodiak contest, where the most beautiful girls fight in a battle of beauty and sexiest. I'm Max Rock, a single man ready to mingle, and I'll be your host for this exciting event."
The big crowd who showed up for the event started cheering and whistling.
"Now let's meet entry number one! It's Panama and her occupation is a bikini model by day and a magician by night and she stands 5 foot 4 inches tall in her measurements she said she's got curves in all the right places. She's got dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes . I asked the ladies to describe themselves in 3 words and she said
Brains,beauty,and booty.
Here comes contestant number 2 this is Leah and her occupation is a full-time lifeguard .
She stands 5 foot 5 inches tall and her measurements are a perfect hourglass of 86-57-88 and she's got blond hair and green eyes. In three words to describe herself she said she is outgoing, she is unique and she's adventurous .
All right contestant number 3 , this is Christy her occupation she is a Journalist and Stan's a petite of 5 foot 1 her measurements are 93-57-84 and she's got blue hair and brown eyes and she describes herself free-spirited,creative and ambitious. Give it up for number 3 that is Christy.
All right let's bring up contestant number 4 this is Maddie and her occupation is a professional poker player and she stands 5 foot 9 inch tall, her measurements she said curvy, curvy, curvy. She's a brunette with big blue eyes and I asked her to describe herself in 3 words and she said all natural baby!
Come on out contestant number 5, this is Kimberly and her occupation she said she's a whole time teased and stands 5 foot 7 inches tall, her measurements she said they're enough to do the job and she has dark black hair and golden yellow eyes and three words to describe herself she's smart,sassy,and classy. That was number 5 give it up for Kimberly."
"Hey Law, what number was Rinka again?"Shachi asks with a pink and goofy face.
"I'm pretty sure she is number 9, which also means she will be the last one."Law responded.
"Ah I see...saving the best for last."Penguin suggested.
"All Right let's bring out contestant number 6, this is Tiara and her occupation is a photographer and stands 5 foot 6 inches tall in her measurements are 95-59-87. She's got dark green hair and gray eyes and 3 words about herself she said she is sassy,silly and spontaneous that is number 6 give it up for Tiara.
All right contestant number 7, this is Ellie and her occupation is a fire performer and a promo model and she stands 5 foot 9 inches tall . Her measurements are the perfect size and she's got light pink hair and green eyes and 3 words about herself she said let it burn.
All right number 8 go hop up on here , this is Jillian and her occupation is a baker and part-time model and she stands 5 foot 3. Her measurements said they're all the right ones. She's got red hair and light brown eyes and 3 words about herself she is feisty,adventurous and lovable. Let's have a round of applause for Jillian.
And last but not least our last contestant. Come on out contestant number 9! Her name is Riley and she is a doctor by day and a professional singer at night . She stands at an impressive height of 6 foot and her pretty much perfect measurements are 97-57-87. She's got dark purple hair and scarlet red eyes and 3 words to describe herself are spunky, smart, and a conqueror. Let's have a big round of applause for Riley!"
"Yeah!...Go Rin-k..I mean Riley," a big group of Heart Pirates cheer."
"Here's the moment all of you have been waiting for. Coming in third place is contestant number 2 Leah ! In second place is contestant number 7 that is Ellie. Alright it's time to crown the winner,the big winner for the whole entire contest is, congratulations to contestant….number 9 it's Riley! Thank you guys again for coming out here.
The winners will be available for another 30 minutes for the meet and greets. If you'd like to get a picture with the beach beauties then take a ticket then wait your turn. We also already made calendars with all of the beautiful contestants. But hurry, we are quite limited with our stock. Again , thank you so much for coming out here ,I'm Max Rock your host and it was nice to meet all of you."
"Yahoo!...no chores for 2 months!"Rinka shouted happily while jumping up and down.
Law smirk because the first step of his plan was complete,now it's time for step 2.
After Rinka was done with her photoshoots,she held up a big golden envelope with a fancy seal.
"Do you have something formal enough to wear at the party?" Law ask.
"No, but I'll find something good today since I also won all of that prize money as well."she responded with a grin. When she stepped inside a cute boutique, she selected a white leather frame bag, a pearl necklace, and small ruby earrings to match her eye color, all of which she paid with her prize money.
Then she headed to find a nice-looking store she saw a few hours ago, so she can get a fancy dress to match the special occasion. Entering,she immediately saw a number of beautiful and well made dresses. After going through 3 of the 5 racks, she picked out a sparkly purple cocktail dress, then brought it with her to get a pair of heels. Glancing around the many different types of footwears, she grabbed a pair of silver high heel sandals in her size and took them to the dressing room.
After she zipped up on the slim fitted dress,she looked at her own reflection and she really liked what she saw. The dress was sleeveless ,revealing a fair amount of cleavage that she was comfortable enough to show , the bodice was silky, the skirt had a deep slit to where her thighs meet which showed off her long legs.
She then slipped on heels,gaining 3 inches ,so her long dress won't touch the dirty floor.
She took off her heels and dress,changing back into her normal clothes, and paid for them and left.
"What's the plan, Captain? Why do you want to go to this party so much?"she asked where Law was leaning on the sub railing.
Law smirks because Rinka had actually called him captain in such a sincere way.
Law then started explaining his real intentions. "The person who is hosting the party is actually a well known dealer in the underworld who screwed me over a while back and I want to get my tasty revenge. Then what's even better by crashing his stupid party and stealing all of his valuables."
"Wait, was it really necessary to enter me in that stupid contest, could you just use your devil fruit abilities to teleport yourself into his house?" Rinka asks with a raised eyebrow.
He shrugged. "I wanted to be invited, without the host even knowing. It will be a lot funnier that way when his special VIP guess is actually us."Law simply stated with a wicked grin.
"Yep, my captain is freakin nuts."she thought to herself.
