I worried and feared Mary would give birth during our trip to Bethlehem. Occasionally, we would stop and rest because she was tired or experiencing false labor pains. She went into full-blown active labor when we arrived in the town. The time was drawing close for her to give birth. All the inns were full to capacity. A kind innkeeper directed us to a nearby stable.
