Olimar silently watched as his three Pikmin poked and prodded the Mr. Saturn which wandered over to his side of the camp. It's only been an hour since his trophy has been freed from Galeem's grasp, however unlike the others who had been freed, he didn't bother catching up or socializing with the others. The minute he was brought back to the camp, he retreated to his own corner to think and mull over the situation he and his fellow fighters are currently in.

This mess they're in is more they can handle. Tabuu is one thing, but this….Galeem is something else. The most Tabuu did was throw the world of trophies, which the fighters resided at during the Brawl tournament, into subspace. The other worlds were left untouched and even the later newcomers were surprised a potentially multidimensional threat happened without them knowing.

At least then Olimar knew his kids were sti safe. His last wish before he died at the cliffside was that his planet remained out of harm's way. His hopes were dashed when after he was rescued, he found Louie's and Charlie's spirit.

Olimar thought back to Alph, the young Koppaite engineer who tried running away when Galeem's lights started targeting the fighters. Olimar treated Alph as if he was one of his children ever since the engineer saved him when he was stranded on Planet 404, as Snake calls it, Earth. Olimar's biggest regret was running away like a coward rather than trying to make sure Alph got away safely. Now he's not even sure if the Koppaite is a spirit or trophy.

Olimar looked up and observed on what the others were doing. In contrast to his brood anti social behavior, the others were chatting it up with each other. Joker was laughing with Bayonetta, the Luminary was comparing swords with the three Links and Cloud, even DK and K Rool put aside their rivalry to catch up with Banjo and Kazooie. Despite the world ending around them, the other fighters are still finding the time to laugh and be in good spirits.

Yet here he is, a small man wallowing in his regrets.

A tap on his shoulder brought Olimar out his thoughts. Turning around, he saw the familiar form of Pac Man who was holding out a pixelated apple. The apple sort of reminded him of the fruit Brittany gushed over back on 404. Olimar took the fruit with a grateful nod as Pac Man sat next to him.

Despite not being able to speak, the yellow ball was able to convey emotions like anyone else and his face showed one of concern. It was clear he needed answers and wasn't going to leave until Olimar gabe him answers.

Olimar sighed before he took out a photo out of pocket. It showed a helmet less Olimar with a woman and two kids. He showed Pac Man the picture with the ball having a knowing look in his eyes.

"I haven't found Alph or my family. This World of Light is gigantic and there are millions of spirits littered all over the place. I feel hopeless man. I don't know how everyone else is handling this fine. They must have numerous friends or family they haven't found yet but I seemed to be the only one worried."

Pac Man didn't interrupt or judged him. He listened to Olimar before nodding in understanding. Reaching behind him, he pulled out a small photo and handed it to Olimar.

Squinting, he can make out Pac Man standing with a woman who looked similar with the same yellow scheme and red boot fashion, only difference is the red bow on her head. In front of them what seems to be a younger Pac Man with blue shoes and a cap petting black spotted blue dog.

"T-that's your family?" Olimar looked backed up to meet Pac Man's eyes.

A nod.

"And you haven't found them either?" Another nod, with a pained look on Pac Man's face.

"Wow. So we're in the same boat, huh?" Olimar and Pac Man sat in silence for a while before Olimar spoke up again.

"We can't give up hope. I'll find my family, and I promise I'll help you find yours too." Pac Man smiled warmly at the words as Olimar stood up, his mood took a 180. He turned back to Pac Man with a fierce look in his eyes.

"We'll find everyone, and we'll make Galeem pay."
