Chapter 25: Fighting against friends
"Ah what do you think, I decided to use him along with the giant and a few other guys in your crew bodies to serve me instead of being my hostages.
Rinka could also see Jean Bart, Charlie and Jerry's bodies as well since they have the biggest and strongest bodies in the crew .
*Please forgive me, you guys.*
Rinka and along with Lucas and Thorn block the incoming attacks.
Rinka spun in a crouch, hitting the back of Charlie's knees with her leg but as he started falling he brought himself back up with his left arm. As he came towards her, so did Jerry and that is why Rinka had to jump upwards to avoid them both.
First Charlie tried to punch her, but Rinka moved her head to the side and the fist passed by her cheek inches from her face. The next attack came from Jerry, but she blocked the kick with her own leg. Jean Bart was now right next to her and tried to strike with all of his strength, making the ground break from underneath. She jumped on Jean Bart's shoulders and used it as a lift off to jump higher in the air, dodging the bullets that almost hit her left arm.
Now Rinka had an advantage as she was higher in the air and she decided to make good use of it before they came up as well.
Rinka turned headfirst towards Charlie and dove down towards him with her arm in a parallel position, the tip of her finger facing downwards.
She prays for the best that this attack will work since her armament haki still needs some work. "No sword style: Waterfall split." In a flash, Charlie was laying completely unconscious on the ground with blood coming from his head.
That was 1 enemy to take care of only 2 more to go.
Jerry was a bigger opponent than Charlie but Rinka isn't backing down as she ready herself for battle. She felt another presence behind her and dodged just in time when Zane was aiming his dagger at her.
"Don't worry about Zane, I got him. You guys worry about Jerry and Jean Bart."Lucas shouted while readying his weapons.
Jean Bart had managed to grab Rinka by the ankle and threw her in the air and then was about to slam her in the ground, but the swordswoman turned in the air so she could land on her feet. When she did, she and Thorn had landed a kick next to Jerry stubble back a few feet. *No sword style: Razor leaves.*
Then Jerry's body went down for the count, now it's time for the final boss.
Both Rinka and Thorn had rushed toward Jean Bart and had kicked him at the same time. This took the large man by surprise and he stepped backwards, but soon got hold of himself again. He swung his arms, changing Rinka's direction, trying to slam her into the wall again. She swung at the large navigator's face. But before her fist could make contact with his head, Jean Bart grabbed her by the foot and flew her back with all of his strength.
"Gaahf!" Rinka made a choking pained sound as she landed on the ground, her face completely smashed.
"Rinka!"Thorn and everyone else shouted in worry.
"Aghh, this sucks! This would be a whole lot easier if I just had my old body back!"Rinka exclaimed with a heavy sigh.
Thorn helped her up and then started thinking of the best way to take down Jean Bart.
"You take him from behind, I have a plan."Thorn said while getting out his throwing needles.
She nodded and did what she was told by jumping behind Jean Bart. When Jean Bart was distracted by the woman on his back , Thorn threw 2 throwing needles onto both of his ankles.
After the giant man was defeated, Rinka then started smirking at Tina. AKA, the woman who is still in Rinka's body.
"Now give it back!"Was all Rinka said before charging at the woman.
She withdrew Rinka's swords from her side and cut down the woman that was about to strike her.
"Ahhh!"Rinka yelps in pain before collapsing.
"Hahah, now this body is my, forever! And your friend is now dead."Tina said happily with a psychopath expression on Rinka's face.
Law was now angry, just right after he managed to pick the lock from his chains, the doll-like body that Rinka was in had just been killed.
Tina's eyes went wide as she watched a blue sphere surrounded her and a nodachi above her.
"Are you really going to hurt me,right captain?"Tina exclaimed through Rinka's own mouth.
Law's eyes widened in shock when Tina put out one of Rinka's swords and did the unthinkable. "If I can't have this body then no one can!" She then stabs herself right in the stomach which makes blood gushed everywhere.
"NO!"Everyone shouted.
*Come on Law think, wait maybe* What if Law's devil fruit abilities could also switch bodies as well, he had never thought about it but it was worth a try.
"Room! Shambles!" *Please let this work* Law thought to himself in some type of praying way.
"Ahhh, why the hell is my stomach bleeding, I thought dolls can't bleed!?"Rinka shouted in horror but mostly in pain.
"Rinka is that really you?"Law asks, not knowing if his plan has really worked.
"Yep, why are you askin-''She stopped herself when she looked down.
"I'm back, back in my own body. But how?"Rinka asked, still gritting in pain.
"My devil fruit abilities were able to counter back Dr Woodrow's devil fruit. But sadly I didn't act in time, so that is why you have a sword in your gut." Law explained.
She yanked out the sword from her stomach and began to smirk at Tina.
"Well Tina, are there any final words you like to say before I kill you?"
"I know everything about you, and that includes your big secret, princ-"
Rinka's eyes widened in anger right before impaling her sword into Tina's neck before she could finish her sentence.
and the chameleon-man were now shaking on their knees since they were the last one's standing.
Law made a grin...a wide sadistic grin as his eyes widened in almost a psychotic-looking sight. "Hmm, what should I do." He slashed at Woodrow and the Chameleon-man split in two at the waist, both parts still floating in the air.
looked at his waist and legs with wide eyes as they floated right next to him. Law then raised his 2 fingers lazily. "Tact" with that, Woodrow's arm broke in 2 as if somebody was breaking a twig. He raised his fingers again.
The chameleon-man's kneecap moved backward, as the knee broke easily. Then the shin came in the other direction and he screamed as it pierced the skin. He looked down and saw the bone of his leg sticking out, blood flowing everywhere.
"Don't worry..I know exactly how to keep you alive long enough and prolong yours and that jackass of yours boss suffering to the maximum. Law smirked and kept moving his fingers as bones started crushing and moving in all directions. After that came the organs, which Law rearrange every single one of them.
"10 minutes, you have 10 minutes of living.''Law said to the 2 deformed figures with a smirk.
Meanwhile,Thorn,Logan and the other medics of the crew treated all their injured crew members.
"We need to go back to the sub!"Law ordered while leading the group towards the exit.
"Aye, Aye captain! Everyone yelled and happily went through the forest, while carrying crates that they took from Woodrow's kitchen and lab.
"We're here!" Somebody from the pirate crew yelled and pointed at the yellow sub.
The submarine looked in a lot better condition than last time they saw it and even the sub got a new paint job as well. Just as they walked over to the end of the dock, the metal doors of the submarines opened. And one of the mechanics pops out.
"Oh, it's Henry!" Penguin yelled and grinned when he saw his friend. But his smile disappeared soon enough. Everyone's smiles soon turned into fearful expressions when they saw what came next out of the sub.
Henry was not moving and was being carried by a very tall man who was wearing a white marine uniform.
"It's an ambush!" Law's eyes widened a little before he turned to his crew. "Everyone get ready for battle!"
"Just give up now, Heart Pirates." A new voice came into hearing range and the crew looked from behind a tree. There was a big man who had the face of a gorilla, he was wearing the marine coat of a captain and had a rifle strap on his back.
Law glared darkly at the gorilla-man. "What have you done to my submarine?"
Just then Gorilla lifted his arm as a signal and a ton of marines came out of the forest, running towards them. The Heart Pirates prepared themselves but then an ice spear shot from the forest.
"Duck!"Law yelled and the pirates got down in time to avoid getting their head cut off.
"Well well, isn't it Trafalgar Law, captain of the Heart Pirates."A deep and cold voice exclaimed.
"No it can't be…It's admiral Aokiji! BUT How!?"Rinka asked with widened fearful eyes.
"To be Honest, I wasn't planning to go pirate hunting today. But when I heard that the Heart Pirates are currently docked here, I decided to tag along with these guys ."
Aokiji stated while pointing at the marine captain.
This is a fight that they all knew they won't win so the first priority was to get back to the sub.
"What a shame, I don't want to kill such a pretty lady. But the World Government considers you and your captain as a threat. And admiral Akainu is still angry with you about how you embarrassed him at Marineford. With that powerful Conqueror's haki of yours after all." Aokiji said lazily to Rinka.
As Law looked around he could see some of his men were already fighting off the first group of marines.
"We're so screwed."Thorn stated with pure fear written all over his face.
Aokiji then pulls out some grass nearby, tosses the plant in the air and then blows at it.
*Ice Saber.*
Rinka jumped into the air to dodge the ice-blade and tried to land an attack with her trusty katana but sadly missed her target.
Aokiji raised his long ice-saber and sent it down towards Rinka. The girl prepared herself for the blow and blocked the saber. Both swordsmen used haki through their weapons and Rinka could feel his haki's blow against her own.
Then all of a sudden Penguin came from up in the sky and landed a side-way kick toward Aokiji's head. And Jean Bart landed a punch right into Aokiji's stomach as well.
He grabbed Rinka's arm and Penguin's leg and used his ice powers on all 3 of them.
Rinka's left arm was completely covered in ice and Penguin and Jean Bart were also rolling on the ground, screaming in pure agony.
"Everyone, head back to the sub right now! We can't win this one, we're too weak! Start running and look out for yourself! I will fight this guy on my own." Law order.
"I'm staying."Rinka stated with pure determination in her eyes.
"NO, you're the one who needs the most medical care. You will just get in the way." Law retorted.
"Please Law, you need me. You will need my haki to even stand a chance with this guy."Rinka responded with crossed arms or at least what she was trying to do since her arm is still frozen.
"Me too, I'm a polar bear so his devil fruit powers won't affect me that much." Bepo spoke up this time.
Before Law could protest against them, Rinka and Bepo were already aiming another attack toward Aokiji. Rinka nodded with a determined look at Bepo and crouched a little. She started spinning with both of her katanas in her hands.*2 sword style;Heavenly Tornado.* She uses that sword technique while using haki at the same time.
"What an interesting attack...But too slow!" Suddenly he charged at Rinka with his large ice-saber and was just about to bring it down on her when Bepo appeared next to him and delivered a round-house kick towards the Admiral's face.
But this time his head had completely shattered into little pieces of ice.
"Everybody run, this is our chance!"Rinka shouted while readying her weapon again.
"Room, shambles !"Law switched places with Bepo and then landed his nodachi right onto Aokiji's chest. Aokiji activated his devil fruit ability but only managed to freeze Law's hand.
Aokiji landed an ice cover fist right onto Rinka's side which made half her torso frozen in ice as well. He then swung his sword toward the white fuzzy polar bear which gave him a deep large cut mark across his chest. "Ahhhh!" They both shouted in pain.
It was already hard enough to keep her eyes open when she left the large mansion but now she has to face a man who can kill you in an instant with his ice powers, it just wasn't fair.
Rinka's eyes widened in fear when she saw Aokiji disappear and reappear behind Law and was holding out his arms.
"La-"Rinka stops herself when Aokiji freezes her entire body into ice when she jumps in and takes on the attack that was meant for her captain.
RINKA!"Law shouted with pure shock but mostly fear in his eyes when she became nothing more than an ice sculpture.
Law held out his good hand and switched Rinka and Bepo with the closest marines.
"Bepo,take Rinka back to the sub!"Law shouted.
"I'm not done with you." Law slashed with his nodachi and outstretched his arm one more time. "Tact" Suddenly the ground started to rise, and landed into the ice-user.
*This will be a good enough distraction and give us some more time.*
Law then teleported himself back onto his sub ,hoping they could escape in time.
"Hurry, everyone inside! Jean Bart, get ready for diving!" law was helping some of his last men on board. Most of them were injured; be it heavily or minor. But what he was most worried about was whether Rinka was still alive or not.
"Captain,we're set, we can finally leave this terrible island!"Lucas stated.
"Good, Let's leav-"Law's eyes widened when he suddenly felt a sharp pain through his body. It felt cold to the point it felt hot. He could see Lucas's shocked and horrified expression but couldn't understand why.
"Captain!" Lucas yelled, in horror.
Law looked down and to his shock he could see a large object impeling his stomach. It was a large ice-spear that belonged to Aokiji. Then he coughed, blood spilling from his mouth, before he collapsed. It was a good thing that Lucas was there so he could carry back Law to the infirmary.
"Not bad Heart Pirates, but you're not getting away that easily."Aokiji then put his hand into the ocean. This time he won't let them get away just like they did at Marineford.
*Ice Age*

In some type of merical the Heart Pirates submarine was able to escape from Aokiji's ice, not once but twice but this time it was just too close of a call.
'Beep...beep...beep' Were the first sounds that Rinka heard when she finally woke up after being asleep for 2 days.
She turned to her right and saw Penguin, Shachi, Thorn and Logan were sitting next to her with the most happy but also tired expression on their faces. Still under on a lot of anesthesia she could only mumble a few words. "Where... is La-w?"
With a heavy sigh Penguin pointed to the left of her bed and where she saw Law in terrible shape and was using a breathing mask. "He had just been taken out of surgery." She just looked at the sleeping face of her captain, he kinda looked peacefully like this...too peaceful. His skin was really pale and was completely emotionless.
"Law." That was the last thing she mumbled before falling right back into a deep slumber.
Another day had passed and this time Rinka was finally able to get out of bed, get a chair and sit next to her captain. She ignores all the protest from the other medics that she should still rest in bed and not to overwork her still healing body. But how could she sleep where Law is in such a state.
After many days had passed she didn't leave her captain's side, she didn't even leave to eat. All she wanted was to be right next to him when he woke up, what she killed to hear his annoying comments and his smartass remarks .
"Law please wake up, I'm begging you."
"Why are you crying?"
The soft, scratchy voice brought her back to reality like all energy had suddenly come back to her. Rinka raised her head quickly with red eyes wide open. Her eye contact was directed at her now awake captain. Before she could even react Law gave her a big tight bone crushing hug. "I'm the one who should be crying, I really thought you died right before my eyes, not once but twice. Don't you ever do that again, I can't lose you."
"Shut up, you look terrible. It's my fault you're in such a bad state, I should have followed your orders."She retorted but in a teasing and gentle way.
"Are you serious?! You were turned into a freakin ice sculpture and could have died because I wasn't strong enough."Law stated with gritted teeth, not wanting to remember that sight again.
Law began to smirk a little. "You know, I think a kiss will help speed up my recovery a little faster."
She began to smirk at his comment. " Sorry Law but go ask someone else, you big baby."
But after Rinka got up from her chair she leaned in closer to Law and gave him a kiss right in the middle of his forehead. "But I don't want you to lay on your lazy ass too long. Bye bye captain."
After the infirmary room's door closed, Law gently touched where her lips made contact with his skin and started grinning a bit. "That woman is something else, but one day she will be mine."
