Chapter 2 Catching up with Old Friends
Ryu is reading a book on feudal japan when feels someone's watching him, he picks up his gun and fires at Ningen who easily catches the bb and is impressed with Ryu for sensing him as they catch up Ningen asks if him and Rinka are ever going to be more than friends with Ryu replying "most likely not don't get me wrong I respect here her a lot but it's never really gone beyond good friends minus a few dates but how about you" "what?" "I've seen how you've been staring, and I assure you she has a thing for someone like you" "oh don't be sill- really?".
Ryoma enters his apartment tired after a full day's work he pulls out some cigarettes and a lighter "oooh look at the big man smoking" "pftftf what the hell are you doing here!?" Ningen came in earlier to see if he was home instead, he found an apartment that smelled of smoke but was surprisingly well kept "of course I keep tidy don't want to lose something important under a bunch of junk" "even still I'm impressed Ryoma here I thought you quit within a week but here you are climbing this political ladder one step at a time, " you kidding me compared with the shit we've been through this is a walk in the park by comparison" "now that is something we both can agree on".
Kiara is seen reading a book in a library when suddenly a spider crawls her way wanting to escort the little guy out she soon notices Ningen with a bunch of spiders on him, Kiara couldn't believe he would risk himself like that but before she could react Ningens in front of her takes the spider and does all of this without disturbing anyone else afterwards they quietly catch up.
Rinka is seen reading the manual Korro sensei gave all of them until she feels uneasy, she quickly draws her gun and fires at Ningen who doesn't even flinch since it's another bb "did you see Chiba before?" "and this is the second time someone sensed me glad to see in that in these seven years none of you have lost your touch" as both of them catch up Ningen brings up "by the way Ryu said you guys dated" Rinka blushes saying "no we didn't!" "it's funny the more you deny the cuter you look" "are you stupid?!" "you just keep getting cuter" despite the teasing done by Ningen Rinka had a nice time talking to him.
In a kitchen someone asks for the "token chubster" Sumire immediately gets out of the Kitchen to find out who said that but instead finds Ningen "sorry for the name it's just I heard of a familiar girl in my class was cooking here do you know her by any chance" "oh just say it Ningen I'm a lot thinner than I used to be" "yet I hear you eat like kirby or pacman" "well of course how else I am supposed to stay energized" they both caught up over dinner.
In a store where you can buy all your manga someone comes up and says " I'd like to buy one manga please" "Just one? you could bu-" Yuzuki soon realizes she's talking to Ningen and jumps for joy "ahhhh Ningen what are you doing here?" "oh, nothing just wanted to give you a present" "thank you what is it?" "the ending to one piece" "huh?!" "oh I just got Eichiro Oda a little submissive and told him to write down the ending he had for the series to 'remind' himself I mean that's why you want become an editor right and no I haven't read myself I wanted you to read it" "wow Ningen as incredibly sweet as that is how about we save it for...much later" "okay" he knows how many laws he broke.
Ningen sees a gaggle of girls leaving one dude behind and it was obviously Hiroto who wasn't even bothered, when Ningen approached him it was actually Hiroto that started the catching up conversation eventually Hiroto asks "does Hinata still like me" "what do you think?" "I KNEW IT SHE HATES ME!" "woah calm down I didn't say that if anything she wants to confess" "really?" "yes but try not to be a playboy if you don't want to die it's about time you stop this womanizing nonsense" "no kidding I think I've gone for every women in japan, there's no one left to seduce the only one left is Hinata I swear I'll be true" "oh brother".
The film crew is wrapping up and Koki is making sure everything is neatly put away "don't you need this" says someone holding some equipment "actually yeah thank-" but Koki realizes who he's talking too it's Ningen as they catch up Koki mentions how him, sosuke, and Taiga all got together to film "something" with Koki making it obvious that whatever they film is most likely pervy.
As Takuya prepares dinner Ningen ask "got enough for two" "Ningen!" as the two eat and talk Ningen wonders if he'll involve Sumire Tak replies "of course if she wants to join me and doesn't mind making ramen".
Ningen walks to the old class room to see how everyone is taking care of it and to his surprise it looks better than ever and someone was still here when he made his way around the corner he saw a butt and stared, eventually Toka turned and screamed calling Ningen a pervert, after that fiasco Ningen apologies saying "I only wanted to see the place where we had many memories" and thus the two caught up and were sitting rather close to each other for a long time even when they finished talking.
Authors Note: Koro sensei's final present to his son was tentacles how he got them and why did he wanted Nin to have them will be left ambiguous, straight to the point Nin injected himself with the tentacles and when they spoke to him in an awfully familiar voice they asked what he wanted and he said he wanted the power to protect the world. this entire story is Nin visiting his friends to see what they are up to after the events of the anime I try to keep in character as to what they would do and we do see some their careers in the anime but not everyone got enough screen time so it's up to me. Feel free to give suggestions as to what you think their futures will be like because trust me I'm constantly changing myself.
