Chapter 30

Greetings readers! I hope that all of you enjoyed the previous chapter! I also hope that all of you enjoyed this story because this is the last chapter!

I will deviate from my tradition of answering reviews in the headnote and will instead be addressing them in the footnote. This is because answering the reviews here may reveal some spoilers for this chapter.

This is the last chapter of this story and is the epilogue of this thirty chapter series. This series started with a plan to have twenty two chapters and 85K+ words and I had thought that it would be completed in two months. And to be honest, I didn't even expect it to have fifty reviews, followers or favorites.

It's a surreal feeling that this turned into a behemoth containing thirty chapters and 162K+ words. I also never even imagined that it would amass 274 reviews, 305 favourites and 348 followers.

Of course, this would have been impossible without the massive support I have received from all the reviewers, followers, favourites and readers. And who can forget the fantastic Beta Reader-MissyAndTheDocs for your phenomenal and contribution in this story.

This headnote is a shout-out to all of you out there who have either been with me since the start or have joined along the journey. I hope to successfully engage all of you to this, or hopefully, to an even greater extent in my next stories.

With love and gratitude, Blitz2134

A luxurious, grand and very loud ball had been raging on Olympus for quite some time. There were Olympians, sea gods, Underworld gods, minor gods who were allied to the Olympians, neutral minor gods, Heracles, Dionysus, nature, wind and water spirits and even satyrs in attendance.

Everyone was either dancing or engaged in the myriad of other activities in the centre of the Olympian Plaza, with Pan and the Muses alternatively filling the air with their divine and entrancing music. One man however was silently sitting in one of the numerous and decadent bars that served varieties of Nectar and Ambrosia.

Percy had nearly been mobbed at one point in the ball and had danced with almost every goddess present. All except one.

"My, my, I never thought that I would find the Hero of Olympus unattended and drinking Nectar in such a sorrowful manner." A voice that could only be Athena's commented in a jovial tone.

"Glad to see that you're enjoying the ball, Athena. This is a very good ball and the experience is certainly a very enjoyable one. But after all the dancing and congratulatory talks, I decided to find a quieter and more peaceful corner." Percy replied with a small smile after finishing his glass of Nectar. With a snap of Athena's fingers, the glass filled up again and Percy nodded in thanks.

"Are you sure that this had nothing to do with the fact that Hermes and Apollo seemed very eager to introduce you to other goddesses?" Athena dryly stated.

"Was it really that evident?" Percy questioned.

"Don't tell me you're surprised, Percy. With your strength, appearance and feats, you have become Olympus' greatest heartthrob in its millennium of existence." Athena teased.

"I don't covet that status Athena. In fact, given the choice, I would like to be an unrecognizable, anonymous figure." Percy easily replied.

"That's a first. A god who doesn't want to use his status for frivolous romances. I am curious though, why remain so uptight? You've won the war, you have reached the zenith of your life and, should you want it, you can have many goddesses willing to indulge you. What's stopping you?" Athena bluntly questioned with curiosity seeping into her voice.

To her, he was an endearing enigma. He was so different, so unconventional and even though she had already known him for a few years, there was still such a mysterious aura to him. There was so much to learn about and from him.

"That's not the way I intend to live my life. I don't criticize those who enjoy frivolous and casual romances but I am not interested in such flings. As I have stated multiple times, I am nothing without my loyalty. If I am involved with a woman, it's because I love her with all my heart." Percy paused to take a sip of Nectar before continuing.

"Besides, even if there are goddesses who want an emotionally deep and initiate relationship with me, I am still not ready for another romance. There's a part of me that still loves Calypso and that love will probably never completely fade away. Until I am sure that my love for Calypso does not come in the way of my love for whoever I am involved with, I will not enter a romantic relationship. That'll be unfair to whoever I am with." Percy stated with a distant look in his eyes as he drank the remaining Nectar in one gulp.

Athena felt a little guilty for prodding at an uncomfortable point. It was remarkable how he never took offense to the constant barrage of questions that she showered on him. Even she would have been annoyed by some of her own questions that sometimes crossed a line. For that reason, she stopped herself from asking him why he did not ask for Calypso's freedom.

He may have been amicable and objective in his answers till now but that was a very touchy subject for him. That was something that she had noticed over the past year. He always shied away from talking about Calypso, so she had studiously avoided that topic. She did not want to hurt him by making him recount painful memories. That was beyond cruel.

As an apology for steering the conversation into a sombre direction, she snapped her fingers but this time, other than just his glass filling up, a large jar of sparkling Nectar from her personal store materialised on the Olympian Cedar table. To Athena's surprise, with a snap of Percy's fingers, a Nectar glass materialised in her hands as he very graciously poured her a drink.

"How?" Athena questioned.

"Well, along with being capable of materialising rather large amounts of water without the aid of my trident and swords, this is one of the other new abilities that I have discovered." Percy replied with a small smirk.

A peaceful silence enveloped them as they observed the events of the ball and gradually emptied the large jar of Nectar. Finally, Athena decided that she wanted to have a dance with the Champion of Olympus.

Percy was surprised when he felt Athena gently pull him out of his seat and drag him to the dancing area of the plaza and, even though he was a still a bit tired, he did not resist. One more dance would not hurt.

They quickly took their position with his hand at her side and her hand on his shoulder. The two of them danced slowly and elegantly in response to the soulful music that reached their ears.

The pair held eye contact the entire time and Athena was starting to see more than what everyone else saw in him.

Under the soft night light, with an appearance that put even her fellow gods to shame and beautiful sea green eyes that trapped her own stormy grey orbs in their magnetic pull, he was far more attractive than any man she had ever seen. But that wasn't the only thing drawing her in.

His wisdom, his pragmatic intelligence, his power, his maturity, his selfless altruism, the unflinching morality in his character and most importantly, his unwavering loyalty were traits that, in her opinion, made him the closest a man could ever be to being perfect. Of course, he had his flaws but his strengths vastly outshined them.

Even Percy was gradually growing more comfortable around her. He had expected to feel more sorrowful when Calypso's topic was brought up but surprisingly, it was not as painful. While he wouldn't be ready for any romantic relationship for quite some time, for now, he enjoyed the time he spent with Athena.

Together, the two of them danced for numerous songs before finally separating with happy and content smiles on their faces.

On his way back, Percy ran into his currently mortal cousin Heracles, who was drowning himself in the Olympian wine crafted by Dionysus.

Other than occasionally training him with Ares, Percy had rarely talked to him while preparing for the battle. Still, he couldn't help but feel sympathy for his cousin after getting to know about his history and his labours.

"Cousin, if you don't stop, I am afraid that you may lose consciousness due to intoxication." Percy dryly stated from behind his burly relative.

The demigod seemed startled for a moment before somewhat groggily nodding at him in respect. Initially he had thought that the Prince of Atlantis was just another demigod and he had taken offense when Ares had told him that Perseus would be training him in swordsmanship.

The Prince had noticed his displeasure and had suggested a spar. Heracles had been overjoyed as he had believed that he would at least be physically stronger than the young Prince.

However, his assumptions were blown out of the window both literally and figuratively, when Perseus had sent him a hundred feet into the air with just a single punch that he had delivered in the blink of an eye. That day he realised that Perseus was in a league of his own.

The man in front of him was so powerful that Heracles had seen him spar with and beat Ares and even Athena. Heracles barely managed to push Ares at his full strength and he had never even dared to spar with Athena. He knew that it was almost impossible to keep up with her in battle due to her blistering speed and unbelievable skill. Thus, a respect had been built up for the surprisingly amicable and humble Prince of Atlantis.

"The wine that Dionysus has invented has proved to be my only solace Perseus." Heracles bitterly stated. Immediately Percy's face sobered up.

"Cousin, fate may seem unnecessarily cruel sometimes but we often fail to realise that it's just a reflection of our own actions. I know it may not be an easy thing to do, Heracles, but you have to forget your past and ensure that your future actions are honourable and fair." Percy stated in a solemn, distant voice, his sea green eyes morphing into a stormy shade.

After a few seconds, Percy's eyes cleared and a small, sea green pouch materialised in Heracles' hands. Percy decided to explain his actions when Heracles looked at him quizzically.

"The Council - and specifically Aunt Hera - have ordered me to not directly tamper with your fate. But, as stated by your father and as a reward for your services, the pouch contains an enchanted Celestial Bronze club and arrows designed by Athena and I and crafted by Hephaestus. However, these pouches also contain an infinite number of supplies and a special sea green pearl that will take you wherever you want once you crush it." Percy expounded.

Heracles seemed surprised but he quickly gave a slight bow in respect and gratitude.

"Don't be surprised cousin. You are family too. I wish you best of luck for the journey that lies ahead of you. May the fates be with you." Percy stated with a kind smile before walking away, leaving behind a speechless Heracles.

After Heracles, Percy met his grandmothers. They seemed to be having a casual discussion about someone when they noticed Percy.

"Grandson, we were just talking about you." Rhea stated with a welcoming smile.

"Nothing too bad I hope." Percy replied with his iconic lop-sided smile.

"Percy, she can tell me something bad about you only when you do something bad. And it doesn't seem like that is going to happen anytime soon." Styx joined the conversation.

"You may not be perfect grandson. But you are definitely the closest we will ever get to perfection." Rhea added her own opinion.

"That's not true grandmother. I have plenty of flaws. I'm just a man who is doing his job and looking out for his family. That in no way entails me to take on the mantle of being near perfect." Percy countered.

Styx chuckled at his words. It seemed that no matter how old or how powerful her grandson became, he would always retain his humble, charismatic charm.

"You are just proving my point Percy. You are the closest to perfection; not because you are the perfect soldier, but because you are a good man." Styx stated.

"Strength and power are important, grandson. But not more important than virtue and character. The Titan Lord was unparalleled in strength and power. However, he sorely lacked both virtue as well as strength of character. The only thing as large as his power was his arrogance. Fate did not judge him based on his strength or power. Rather, it judged him on his horrific actions." Rhea recounted with a distant look on her face.

"No one else would have had the strength of character to do what you did today grandson. You had the chance to acquire absolute power, but you knew the dangers it entailed and virtuously walked away from it. A large chunk of that virtue comes from Amphitrite, who always taught you to be first and foremost a good man. But it's clear that you have also inherited your birth mother's best qualities." Styx revealed a startling piece of information.

Percy was silent for some time as he processed the depth behind this revelation. Except telling him the truth about his heritage fourteen years ago, his maternal grandmother had never divulged any information about his birth mother.

"What was she like?" Percy finally questioned in a quiet voice.

"She was a pearl. She had no special abilities. No elemental powers. No enhanced physical attributes. Even the short life that she lived was not easy. Just like her father, she was a simple fisherwoman. I helped them indirectly as much as possible but it was not easy with my husband and my children keeping tabs on me due to their suspicion. For that reason, she struggled a lot in her childhood, with her and her father barely making ends meet." Styx paused before continuing.

"Despite all these problems, she grew up to be a very kind, caring and helpful woman. Always willing to lend a hand to someone in need and selfless to a fault, she saved the lives of more than a hundred people. She was an excellent swimmer and the sea where they fished was very turbulent, making it common for boats to topple over. As soon as she would hear the information that someone was stranded in the waters, she would immediately dive into the sea and successfully bring them to shore. Her altruistic actions solicited the attention of a certain sea god and the rest is history." Styx concluded with a sorrowful sigh.

"Even though I very dearly miss my daughter, I see her in you. You may clearly take from Poseidon's looks and Amphitrite's mannerisms and a combination of their moral values, but you have also inherited your birth mother's virtue, humility and her kind smile. I am sure she would have been very proud of you, had she been able to see the man you have grown to become." Styx stated with a sorrowful smile.

Percy was at a loss of words. He had always had the utmost respect for his birth mother, even though he considered Amphitrite as his only mother. She had given up her life for him and he had always strived to honour her. To hear that she would be proud of him convinced him that he had made the right choice.

"Grandson, don't let two reminiscing immortals bring you down during this glorious day of celebration. I am sure you still have plenty of others to meet with and rejoice. Now go and enjoy this ball." Rhea shooed him away with a small smile

Percy gave her and Styx a wide, grateful smile before walking away from them. It seemed that this was a day of intense revelations.

Surprisingly, the next person Percy met was his Uncle Hades who, for a change, was neither wearing his robe of screaming souls nor did he seem to be in his usual stoic mood. Rather, he was dressed in black silk robes and actually seemed to be enjoying himself.

The Ruler of The Underworld was sitting were Percy was sitting before his dance with Athena, with a glass of Nectar in his hands.

"Nephew, I see that you had a hard time getting away from that mob of admirers." Hades commented with a ghost of a smile.

"Yes. Was it this bad for you when you won the Titanomachy?" Percy questioned after filling Hades' empty glass. A nostalgic look made its way into Hades' eyes as he recounted events that had occurred over a thousand years ago.

"Nephew, that day was vividly different. The city of Olympus hadn't even been built yet and none of us had taken control of our domains. We conducted the ball on one of the few mortal beaches that was unmarred by the decade long war of immortals. It was even more rambunctious than this one and I remember having a Nectar drinking competition with Zeus and Poseidon." Hades recounted in nostalgic voice.

"So, who won that competition?" Percy questioned with a curious smile.

"My memory of what happened after the first thirty drinks is admittedly a bit cloudy. All of us were intoxicated due consuming an excess of Nectar." Hades responded. In truth, he perfectly remembered what had transpired after that, but he would be taking the embarrassing details to the void.

"I didn't know that Nectar could intoxicate a god." Percy stated with a raised eyebrow.

"You'll witness it's effects first-hand later, Apollo and Hermes have a tendency of indulging a bit outside their limits." Hades stated with a dry smile.

Percy couldn't help but chuckle. His uncle may have been a stony man but, contrary to what people thought and even though it was a bit unique, he did have a sense of humour.

"Nephew, I have yet to reward you for your services." Hades stated with his characteristic stoic voice.

"Uncle, I don't want any rewards. We are family. It's my duty to help you. And it goes against my morals to exploit my services in this war for personal rewards. I never have and never will fight for any personal reimbursements. That would make me a cold, heartless mercenary." Percy staunchly replied. They stared each other down, neither willing to relent, before Hades finally sighed in defeat.

"Very well. As you wish, I shall not reward you. However, the shadows will always be a safe haven for you. Should you ever need refuge, they shall lead you to the Underworld where I can provide shelter." Hades stated before sending a dim beam of black energy at Percy. Once the light subsided, Percy looked like he wanted to argue but Hades cut him off.

"This is not a reward for your service. Rather, this is an uncle looking out for his nephew. Now, I shall leave before this situation gets even more sappy and emotional." Hades stated with a small smirk before disappearing in a swirl of shadows.

Percy shook his head with a smile on his face. The night was getting more unbelievable as it progressed. He then saw his mother signalling at him and he nodded at her before vanishing in a blue mist.

When Amphitrite had first heard from Poseidon that she was being given the seat of an Olympian, to say she had been shocked would have been a massive understatement. Her surprise escalated when she had found out that it was a seat initially meant for her youngest son.

She and Poseidon had had an inkling that Percy would be given the throne of an Olympian and, rightfully so, they had been ecstatic. Her son had put his life on the line numerous times during the war and the prospect of him being a fully immortal Olympian was one that had provided her immense relief.

Then, when she got to know that he had denied an Olympian berth, a pang of panic had struck her in fear of his reducing, but still significant mortal soul being reaped. Thankfully, Poseidon had alleviated her fears by pointing out the extent of his invulnerability.

After that, when Poseidon had told her of the gods granting him any reward that he sought, she had assumed that he had used that reward to seek Calypso's freedom and reunite with her. Once again, she was left confused when her husband told her that Percy had instead used that reward to transfer his place on the Olympian Council to her.

To her dismay, she had not been able to meet him since he had regained consciousness as he was constantly swarmed by gods or spirits. Not wanting to interrupt his glory, which he had painstakingly earned, she had been talking to other gods and goddesses and had patiently waited until he was free.

When she noticed that he had finished talking with Hades, she had signalled at him to come to one of the quieter and more secluded Nectar bars. A moment later, her son materialised in front of her.

"Finally, I thought I would never meet you." Amphitrite stated after hugging her son.

"Sorry about that, mother." Percy stated with an apologetic smile after hugging her back.

"Look at you Percy. When I first saw you, I recognized that you were very powerful, but I would have never guessed that you would become the most decorated hero in history and a Divine General." Amphitrite stated with pride seeping into her voice.

"Those titles and ranks are for outsiders, mother. When I am with you, I am just your second son." Percy replied with a smile.

Amphitrite gave him a soft smile in return. She was very proud of him as, despite possessing unmatchable durability and great power, he had remained humble. A pleasant silence enveloped them as Amphitrite internally debated whether to question him about his decision or not. Finally, she decided to risk it.

"Son, I don't mean to incite any uncomfortable emotions but tell me something, why didn't you ask the gods to release Calypso? I thought you wanted to reunite with her." Amphitrite asked him after erecting a sound concealing barrier around them.

Surprisingly, it seemed that Percy was expecting such a question. A glass of Nectar materialised in his hands and he took a deep gulp before answering.

"Mother, once upon a time, I was a delusional fool who believed that he had the power to change everything. I thought that one day, the Olympians would completely overcome most of their paranoia. I was only partially right. While their nerves concerning the minor gods and other gods who aren't Olympians has reduced by a substantial extent and will probably decrease even more in the future, the same cannot be said for their fear of the Titans." Percy morosely stated. When his mother looked at him with a confused expression, Percy decided to elaborate.

"Look around mother. How many Titans do you see other than Helios, Selene and Grandmother Rhea? None. Do you think the Olympians forgot to send them invitations? No. Rather, this signifies their growing anxiety about them. Even though most of the Titans who opposed them are either in the pit or trapped under the sky, in the general's case, there are still plenty of Titans roaming the mortal world who have the power to oppose the Olympians. There is now a general feeling of distrust and suspicion surrounding them." Percy stated in a grave tone.

"Son, look at how much you have changed Olympus. I have faith that they will eventually overcome their paranoia of even the remaining Titans. The war has just ended. It's only natural that they're more guarded and on edge." Amphitrite countered.

"You may be right mother. Maybe these negative emotions will subside with time but I am staunchly against putting Calypso in danger. She may be living a lonely life but at least, she's been spared from the worst of the gods' retribution. Asking for her to be released would cause an uproar on Olympus. Not all the Olympians are as objective and accepting in their approach towards Titans as Athena and Aphrodite, mother. Many of them harbour a very deep-seated grudge against the Titans." Percy stated in a neutral voice. But the slight clenching of his fists gave away his displeasure.

"They will not harm you Percy. Not because they're afraid of your father, but because they have whole-heartedly accepted you as one of their own. Take the example of you being unconscious after the final battle. All of them, including Zeus and Artemis were genuinely worried. Even now, I know that you can see all of them shooting discrete looks at you every now and then. They have grown very protective and proud of you." Amphitrite stated with a warm undertone to her voice.

"That is exactly the reason why I don't want to drag Calypso into this. Their protectiveness of me will cause them to label Calypso as a vile, scheming Titaness in cohorts with her father who seduced their champion. And they will not stop there, they will see her as a part of a nefarious network of Titans who want to free the general and raise the Titan lord. As a punishment, they will hurl Calypso to the depths of the pit and will then commence a divine purge of the free Titans." Percy ominously stated.

"Not all of them will accept this. Certainly, Rhea, Hestia, Demeter, Athena, Aphrodite, your father, I and obviously you won't let such a thing happen." Amphitrite argued.

"Of course not. We would draw a line and go to war. A civil war. I have said it before and I will say it again mother, Olympus is not without its enemies. There are plenty of gods out there who will try and misuse such a situation. I cannot and will not even entertain a possibility that will put my family in danger. As the General of The Divine Forces, protecting my family is my duty. And I cannot allow my personal life to adversely affect that duty." Percy determinedly declared.

"How long will you do this Percy? How long will you sacrifice your own happiness for the sake of the gods? You deserve to live your life, son." Amphitrite softly stated.

"I will do it as long as it needs to be done. The gods are benevolent and good at heart, mother. Yes, they have their flaws which do misguide them sometimes, but we cannot turn our backs on our own family. No matter how tempting they make it. I am confident they will change mother. It will just be a long process and now is not the time for me to derail it." Percy replied with a weary sigh.

"Besides, I tell myself that Calypso would never accept what I have now become. She always wanted me to give up all this conflict and violence. For a brief period of time, even I wanted to retire from this life of fighting, settle down with the woman I loved and raise a family with her. That, however, was a long time ago. And my goals have changed." Percy paused before continuing.

"Along with being a Prince, I am a General now and I have a new, ambitious goal which will require me to fight. Maybe not as much as before, but I cannot simply relegate my armour and swords to ceremonial relics. Rather than fighting against this change, I want to embrace it. This is a new chapter in my life mother and I genuinely look forward to it. Maybe it's not what I had initially hoped for but we run with what we get." Percy finished with a poignant smile.

Amphitrite couldn't help but beam at him with pride and love. She was unreservedly overjoyed with what he had become. When she had adopted the little green eyed toddler, she had not known that she would be raising such a great man.

Amphitrite had a gut feeling that, even though Percy had already cemented his status as the greatest hero of all time, he was just getting started. He had already altered the divine landscape. She was convinced that he would now alter the course of the entire world. And she knew that it would be for the better. This was only the beginning of a legend.

Hey guys! So that's it, we have reached the end of this story. It has been a pleasure writing this story and interacting with all of you. I hope you liked the little moments with Heracles and Hades and the backstory with Styx and Rhea.

Coming to the reason why Percy left Calypso, I hope that I have done justice to that question. While I know that it may not be perfect, I have put it in a way that makes it in line with Percy's character in this story. Also this conveniently sets the stage for my final story which will deal with the Second Titanomachy.

I have also decided on another thing, I will not be taking this story up until the Second Gigantomachy as I have already covered all the fights between the gigantes and the gods in detail and I do not want to make my stories repetitive. Besides, I have set up the Titans as the ultimate villains and I want to stick to that.

First of, the title of my next story will be "The Tale Of Perseus: The Trojan War". Even though the Trojan War is in the title, it will not be the only event in the story. It will also deal with Percy's involvement in different mythological events before the Trojan War.

I assure you, even though this type of a story has been treaded upon multiple times, I will present it in a novel way. Also, between the end of this story and the start of the Trojan War, if there is any mythological event that you want Percy to be a part of, please let me know.

Moving on to the reviews, I want to thank the first guest reviewer for your supportive review. Maybe saying I am the best writer in history is a bit far-fetched but I certainly am invigorated by your passionate support. Thank you for your support!

Responding to the guest reviewer who said you're too lazy for an official account, I want to say you're not alone. I have done that for six years and have been giving reviews as a guest before I finally decided to make an account. Don't worry, I have no plans to abandon this story. Thank you for your support!

In response to the guest reviewer who wanted more Percy and Triton interactions, my friend, I would like to inform you that Percy, Triton, Pallas and a special someone else will have a place in a chapter in my next story. Also, you read my mind about having Percy-Styx-Rhea interactions. I hope you enjoyed this chapter! Thank you for your continued support!

Responding to the TheMeister7's review, I am glad that you liked the previous chapter! I hope the reason I have provided for Percy not wishing for Calypso's freedom is satisfactory! Thank you for your support!

In response to the rudhboi's review, I am happy that you enjoyed this story. I am overjoyed that you enjoyed this story right from it's inception and I too hope that I can engage you to an even better extent with my next stories! I am glad I could portray the message of Calypso's influence on Percy's life and him staying true to his personality. Thank you for your continued support! I hope you too are safe and healthy!

In response to Chaoticboy19's review, I am stoked that you liked this story! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I hope that you enjoy the next story as well! Don't worry, I will not abandon these stories! Thank you for your support!

Responding to udm17's review, I am glad that you liked the Calypso Arc. It still is my favourite arc of this story because even though I love action, heartwarming and heartbreaking romance really moves me. I hope you enjoy the Percy X Athena story that will follow! Thank you for your support and keep binging :)

In response to yhds0's review, I have to say, I think you are a mind reader. And I don't think I need to explain why. The next story will dive into the depths of the Trojan War in a very novel way. I hope you enjoy the sequel! Thank you for your support!

Responding to Antonyfal's review, ok I know that I should have tried harder with Hercules but I just have this massive dislike of RR Hercules. Unlike Ares who I actually believe can portrayed in a pretty decent way. And I am afraid that trying to whitewash Hercules without actually liking him will not be enjoyable to read. However, I do believe his charcter deserves more sympathy and hence this scene in the chapter. Thank you for your support!

Responding to MayazarOra's review, that would have been a really good idea but I have already used Chiron in this story as Percy's trainer. So sorry about not being to incorporate a really good idea. Thank you for your support!

In response to the GrossAdmiral's review, unfortunately, I have everything planned after the Trojan War, so I am sorry about that. However, if you have any other ideas before the Trojan War, I will gladly hear you out! Also, I will not be covering the Second Gigantomachy as I have already covered the First Gigantomachy in detail. Thank you for your support!

In reference to The Prophesied's review, man, I don't think I can answer all your questions but I will certainly try. Of course, JoJo Jesus has been a fantastic reviewer and a shout-out to him. To be honest, I don't know if I will have a specific update schedule because it depends on the length of my chapters. I am aiming for having chapters out every 5-7 days. I do understand that it gets a little intense sometimes but honestly, I just love writing. I mean I don't feel like I have written enough even though this story has crossed 160K+ words and that is because of the immense support that I have received.

I am so sorry about not being able to address all your points individually because you have done a really good job summing up this story. I am glad that you liked the novelty in this story and trust me, there is much more to come!

Ok I understand where you are coming from when you say that you don't want the Trojan War to be covered. I assure you, I will approach the Trojan War in a more balanced and definitely more novel way. Also, I just cannot ignore the Trojan War because it's the most important part of Ancient Greek history. I am glad I could interact with you and I hope to see you again soon! Thank you for your support!

In response to John's review, I am glad that you liked the fight scene. About Atlas, maybe you may end up seeing him earlier than expected ;) Thank you for your continued support!

Responding to SonGoku76's review, honestly, I just look at different stuff and I randomly get inspiration for the story. If I see a movie I like, I try to see what inspiration from it I can use for the story. So it's just a honeypot of ideas in the form of a Percy Jackson fanfiction. Thank you for your continued support!

In reference to Achilles's review, I am glad that you liked the speedy update! Also, I hope that I was able to give at least a decent explanation about why Percy didn't ask for Calypso's freedom. Thank you for your continued support!

Responding to PerseusJackson's review, I am thrilled that you liked the action in the previous chapter. I have probably said it a lot of times but I'll say it again, only three things matter to me while writing the chapters- action, emotion and novel ideas. So I hope I can engage you to the same extent in the next story. Thank you for the compliments and thank you for your continued support!

Regarding Okoh's review, actually, even in his spar with Ares or in the final battle, he wasn't holding back. Sure he wasn't being brutal in his attacks but he was still fighting at full strength. This is his emotions causing his essence to overpower his soul temporarily. Eventually, he will reach this level of power without needing to lose his mind in rage or emotion. We will reach canon in the final story and that will deal with the Second Titanomachy in a very different way from canon. But, that needs the next story to work, so enjoy the next one! Thank you for your continued support!

In response to Callum Runchman's review, you know, I may just use that idea in the final story. Let's see. But it's definitely a very great one! Thank you for your continued support!

Responding to Gabe1234's review, I am glad I could sell this version of Percy and the massively changed Olympians to you! I hope you enjoy the next story as well! Thank you for your continued support!

In response to Ryan Fowler's review, you're full of ideas aren't you? As always, another fantastic suggestion from you. Don't worry, there's plenty of scope for Percy to gain new titles and the one you have suggested will definitely be included in that list :) I hope that you enjoy the next story as well! Thank you for your continued support!

Responding to ItsYaBoi325's review, I wanted to show the gods being grateful, maybe I went a bit overboard with that. Ok, Jealous Athena, check. Percy-Titan smackdown, check. Night out with Apollo and Hermes, definitely check! You'll be seeing all these in the next stories :) I am glad you liked the previous chapter and I hope that you liked this one as well! Thank you for your continued support!

Responding to IceFire99's review, I am thrilled that you thought the initial fight scene was iconic because that is exactly what I wanted it to be. It is just a trailer of what is to come. I am glad that you felt that the chapter stuck to Percy's character because that's what these two chapters have entirely been about. Regarding his godhood status, I honestly don't have an answer right now.

Only a third of this trilogy has been completed and a lot is yet to come so I am not sure. It may swing either way depending on the conclusion I want in the next stories. Don't worry, you won't have to wait too long for the next story :) Thank you for your continued support!

Finally, coming to JoJo Jesus' review, all I can say is that if it weren't for you and the other guys/gals out there, this story would have never reached this stage. I may have written this story but I believe that the end result turned out well only because of the team effort involving me, the Beta reader, the reviewers, the followers, the viewers and the favourites and I hope that this continues.

Honestly, I got kind of emotional when writing this footnote because I never thought that this would feel so satisfying. Man, I will need to stock up on tissues for the final chapter of the final story. That's a long time away and until then, I hope to make this as enjoyable as possible for all of you. Thank you for continued support!

Read and review, I hope that all of you enjoyed this chapter! Have a wonderful day!
