Author's Note: Hello, again! This is an another one-shot story from mine and QMDisneyPokemon14's A Bug's Life 2 list. As always, favs and follows are accepted. Reviews are love. So, I hope you enjoy it. ^^
It was a beautiful sunrise in morning on Ant Island. The three girls, Ramona, Gina and Princess Flika were dropped to South Tunnel Elementary School.
It was recess time for Flika and Gina, except for Ramona, who was busy doing her assignments during class. While the other students were playing at recess, Flika said,
"That's a nice doll you've got!"
"Thanks, Flika. This is when Ramona gave me it after uncle Flik and our parents got through the situation," Gina giggled as she nuzzled her doll.
Flika and Gina smiled at each other. Meanwhile, when the girls are playing, the boys named Ashton, Sheldon and Maxwell, were frowning, and they decided to bully them.
"Hey, circus freak!" Ashton called.
Flika and Gina turned.
"What do you want this time?! Bullying is against the rules. We have been through this," Flika said sternly.
Gina whimpered as her cousin reassured her.
"And what's that toy you've got, like some kind of garbage?! Ashton teased, and walked close to Gina, snickering.
YOINK!
He snatched the doll from Gina's hands! Gina bursts into tears, and Flika reassured her, and urged to the boys,
"Hey! You've got some nerve for bullying and taking away her toy like that!"
"Yeah? That circus freak should go back to where she belongs!" Maxwell said.
"Indeed, and the other circus freak, should do the same, because these two's parents are circus freaks, too!" Sheldon sneered
"Knock it off!" a voice yelled.
The kids turned. It was Ramona, who already had finished her class assignment.
"You're not being fair! You boys also SHOULD know that mine and Gina's parents, including the circus bugs are NOT freaks; they are friends and guests!"
Then, she pointed at Gina's doll Ashton had snatched in his hands.
"That's not even YOUR doll, that's hers!" Ramona yelled.
"Seriously, just give it back! It's three against three," Flika agreed with anger.
"No way!" Ashton said,
"Why won't you two circus freaks, go to where you belong. And NEVER come back."
With tears streaming down, Gina yelled,
"YOU'RE MEAN!"
Then, she starts crying as Gina ran away.
"Gina, wait!" Flika cried.
"We can a handle this together," Ramona said in comfort as she stopped Flika, who nodded sadly and said,
I'll tell the principal before he tells mommy, daddy, Gina's parents, and yours too. You get the teacher and find the bullies."
Ramona nodded sternly and said,
"On it."
Flika nodded, and dashed off to find the grownups.
"Ooh, I am scared, whatcha gonna do about it?!" Ashton sneered while holding Gina's doll,
"Now, this circus freak's doll is MINE!"
Sheldon and Maxwell laughed, but Ramona frowned, and said,
"That's it. You three ASKED for it! Flika's almost done telling the principal."
While the school principal named Thorny was checking the camera in school, Flika ran and said,
"Principal Thorny!"
"Oh, hi, Flika, why are here?" Thorny asked with a small smile.
"This is a bad thing, but the bullies named Ashton, Sheldon and Maxwell took my cousin's doll, and called us names!"
Thorny felt shocked, and said,
"Okay, guide me to them! Quick!"
Flika nodded, and led the principal to the playground.
Meanwhile...
Ramona was beaten up, as she weakly stared at the three boys laughing.
"I told ya, circus freak! There is NOTHING you can do about it!" Sheldon teased, jabbing Ramona on the chest.
Then, he, Ashton and Maxwell laughed. Ramona tears up a little.
"Boys!" Thorny called.
The three boys turned.
"I told the principal on you three boys. So, there is nothing YOU can do about it."
Ramona smiled, and went to Flika, and stared at the boys with anger, saying,
"You're wrong. I told you!"
"My office, now," Thorny said, and the three boys hung their heads.
"Give the girls Gina's doll now," Ashton's mother said.
Ashton groaned, and pushed Gina's doll into Ramona's arms. Flika nodded sternly.
"As for this, you are grounded for a week," Sheldon's father said.
Maxwell's parents nodded and said in unison,
"Let's head home now."
Then they, Ashton's mother and Sheldon's father took their kids home angrily. Flika and Ramona nodded at each other, and Thorny said with a smile,
"Thank you so much for the situation, girls. As a reward, I'll give you two a month off while I call your parents, including Gina's parents, to let them know Gina earns it, too; enjoy your break."
Flika and Ramona cheered, thanked the principal and went out of school.
Later in the afternoon...
As Flika and Ramona went out of South Tunnel Elementary School, feeling sad for Gina, they spotted their parents, King Flik, Queen Atta, Manny and Gypsy, including Gina's parents, Rosie and Dim.
They smiled, and hugged each other.
"Hi, Flika, how's school?l" Atta said with a smile.
"It went good!" Flika responded.
"Mine too. The principal gave two of us a month off," Ramona added.
Gasping with joy, Flik cheered,
"Wow! We also got a call from the principal that you taught the bullies a lesson!"
Gypsy smiled and felt awed at that moment as she said,
"What a brave child of ours."
"That's my little girl!" Manny said as he embraced Ramona, who giggled, toght in his arms.
As they broke the hug for a moment, Rosie chimed in and asked,
"Wait, where's my baby?"
"Oh, no! We lost her!" Flika said sadly, almost tearing up.
"And we don't know where she's going," Ramona sniffled, and cried softly.
Manny and Gypsy embraced Ramona in comfort, as Flik and Atta did the same to Flika.
"What can we do? We must find her," Rosie insisted.
"Poor Gina... what happened, girls?" Dim asked Flika and Ramona.
"Uncle Dim, the bullies took Gina's doll," Flika chimed in.
"But I still have it with me, to give it to her," Ramona added in comfort.
Dim understood and nodded his head, letting out a concerned sigh. He frowned and said,
"We have to do something. Our child is going to get lost."
Rosie nodded in agreement as she petted him. Flik chimed in to his friends and the kids,
"We must be a search party! Quick, we have to find Gina before it's too late."
Flika, Ramona, and the grownups nodded, and started searching for Gina.
As Rosie and Dim were searching, they heard soft crying. The two went around the leaf, and spotted Gina! She was covering her face, wiping away her tears. Manny, Gypsy, Ramona, Flik, Atta and Flika followed Rosie and Dim, and found Gina as well!
"There she is!" Flika whispered delightfully.
"Let's talk to her," Ramona responded quietly.
Then, they went near Gina.
"Psst, Gina!" Flika whispered, and Gina stared with tears.
"F~ Flika... R~ Ramona?" she asked.
"Yes, it's us. I've got your doll," Ramona said with a smile and gave Gina the doll. Gina bursts into happiness and hugged her doll.
"Thank you, Flika and Ramona!"
Then, she hugged her cousins. Flika and Ramona hugged her back as they said in unison,
"You're welcome, Gina!"
As Gina spotted her parents, and giggled with tears as she ran over to them. Rosie and Dim embraced their daughter in comfort.
"Oh, there, there, sweetheart. We know how you feel," Rosie said with a smile as she reassured Gina.
"We are very concerned about you! But thank goodness we found you," Dim agreed as he nuzzled Gina, and kissed her forehead in an embrace.
"That was very nice of you, Flika!" Atta marveled with a smile.
"What a big protective cousin you are," Flik said with a smile, as he and Atta embraced Flika, who giggled.
"We're so proud of you, my dear Ramona!" Manny said with a smile.
"Looks like you have a heart," Gypsy agreed as she gave Ramona a big-hearted embrace.
The circus bugs stayed for dinner and hangout with a playdate. Gina hopefully is glad that she is comforted by Ramona and Flika.
And as time went on, they bid each other farewell and goodnight, hoping that they'll come back next time.
