Hello! I am new to the Glee fandom, still only in the second season, but I'm in love with it. I listen to it every day and rewatch my favorite scenes, that I've watched so far, over and over again. This is my first Glee fanfiction so I hope you like it! This story will probably only consist of 2 or 3 chapters, so it'll be relatively short. I haven't really figured it out yet. Anyway, enjoy and please review!
Rachel is confident when it comes to relationships. If nothing is in it for her in the relationship, she would end it. Or the other way around when the boy can't take her non-stop talking and self centered views. But she's not afraid to express her feelings when it comes to a boy she likes. And that boy is the one and only Finn Hudson. He is a strong, tall boy, he is also the quarterback on the football team, but she doesn't care much for that bit. He is also the kindest most understanding person she had ever met. And lucky for her, he's in the Glee club with her. And with him being the leading male singer and her being the leading female singer they spend a fair amount of time together. But she needs to find a way to have him want her. Now that he broke up with his girlfriend, Quinn, he is single and ready to mingle. At least she hopes so. But she wants to get close to him and spend more time together that doesn't have to do with Glee. And that's exactly what she plans to do.
Rachel got to school a little before first period on a gloomy Friday. She was hoping to talk to Finn before the bell rang. She walked into the crowded building, her clothes a little damp from the fog that rested low to the ground outside. She squeezed past the other students, trying to go the morning without getting slushied. She had worked hard before school to look good for Finn, Ironing her dark brown hair and carefully applying makeup to her delicate face. She made her way to her locker, which was, coincidentally, right next to Finn's. He was there stuffing his stuff in his messy locker. Rachel made her way over to him and stopped, trying her cutest smile. He looked up and smiled, noticing her.
"Hey, Rachel," he said, closing his locker.
"Hey! I was wondering...would you want to hang out after school?" she asked, trying not to sound suspicious. She saw Finn smile and look away awkwardly, putting his hand in his pockets.
"Yeah, that'd be cool," he said, looking back at her.
Rachel smiled, looking at the ground. Maybe her plan will work, maybe they'll end up kissing. That's her goal, anyways. She craved feeling his hand in hers and she wanted their first kiss to be romantic and...well, long. When it happens-if it happens, she wants it to last forever. But she knows it'll have to end at some point. She had to hold in a giggle, thinking about this stuff made her giddy.
The bell rang and she and Finn walked to class together, she had an urge to take hold of his hand but fought it. She looked up, admiring his adorableness. He has short brown hair that compliments his adorable smile. Finn glanced at her and she quickly looked away, blushing. They got to class and sat at their desks. Which were, sadly, not next to each other. Their first class was math on Fridays, Rachel's personal least favorite. She'd rather be singing or anything else than playing with some useless numbers. Rachel didn't know how the other students stayed awake! She internally groaned, realizing it's going to feel like an eternity until she and Finn get to hang out...and possibly kiss. Rachel slumped on her uncomfortable desk, bored. But then something hit her back and he sat up, confused. Then she saw a little ball of paper on the ground. She picked it up and scanned the room for the possible suspect. Who dares hit Rachel Berry in the back with a crumpled up piece of paper? Then again, she gets slushied on a daily basis. She locked eyes with Finn, who was smiling at her expectantly. She raised her eyebrow and gestures to the rolled up piece of paper. He mouthed 'open it' so she did. It read; Bored? She smiled at the cuteness of it, she hadn't passed notes in class since middle school. She grabbed her pencil and wrote; So bored, you want to pass notes?
Rachel got up and suspiciously walked to the pencil sharpener and placed the paper on his desk. She slowly sharpened her pencil, watching him scribble something on the paper. Rachel noticed that he had finished and made her way back to her desk, taking the note from his hand on the way. She sat back in her chair and opened the paper.
Yeah, I don't think I can survive math today. I can't wait for this evening.
She was smiling so wide before she could stop it. It went on like that until the bell rang and it was time for the next class. They didn't have the same class in second period so they split up, promising to meet back at their lockers at lunch. Rachel gloomily walked towards History, bummed that she couldn't be with Finn anymore. But now she was even more confident that this night will be the night that they finally get together.
So, how was that? I don't really do 3rd person stories so it might be a little choppy, but tell me what you think!
