We stepped into the most majestic house I had ever seen. We were standing in a large room with hallways and branching off the side and a big staircase in the middle of it leading to the second story. The floors were decorated with blue runners and rugs. A chandelier hung over us lighting up the beautiful room.
"Oh my gods," I breathed.
"Okay, everyone!" Said Percy, getting our attention,"Bedrooms are upstairs, but we will sleep in the living room which is connected to the kitchen and one of the bathrooms." He put his hands on his hips and nodded. "Let's go!"
He ran in the direction of a door by the staircase, we all laughed and ran after him. We got to the living room and, wow, it was amazing. A giant window replaced the back wall, showing the pool in the backyard. The kitchen was off to the left and Percy led us to a large common area with a fireplace, couches, a flatscreen TV, and a coffee table.
"So everyone should get ready, claim a spot for your sleeping bag and we'll get started!" Said Percy, enthusiastically. I claimed a spot next to Percy and Piper's sleeping bag and plopped down on one of the couches. I felt a little self conscious, I did just meet these people and I barely know them...but we'll see what happens. Frank and Jason pushed the coffee table aside and we all gathered around in a big circle.
"What do you guys want to do?" Asked Will.
"How bout' truth or dare?" Said Piper evilly. Everyone uncomfortably shifted, I wonder What happened the last time they played it. I, personally, love truth or dare. It's so suspenseful and funny. You never know what you're going to have to do.
"Nah, let's do something different this time," said Travis. A mischievous glinting his eyes suggested that he had an idea.
"What about spin the bottle?"
Spin the bottle? Thank goodness I've already had my first kiss. I had a girlfriend in my freshman year but it wasn't serious. Rachel, was her name. She was cute, she had beautiful blue eyes and soft red hair that, no matter how hard you tried, would not allow you to brush through the curls. He hugged and lightly kissed sometimes, but nothing more. We broke up because she fell in love with someone else. It was good while it lasted though.
"YESSS!" Piper startled me out of my thoughts. Everyone else agreed and Percy went to go grab an empty bottle. When he came back everyone was itching with anticipation.
"I'll go first!" Shouted Piper.
She grabbed the bottle from Percy and spun it. When it finally stopped it had landed on Frank. Piper looked a little disappointed but leaned in and pecked him on the lips. Frank looked awfully flustered.
"Why don't you go Annabeth?" Asked Piper, including me. I was taken aback but hastily took the bottle.
"U-um-," I stuttered.
"Oh, right! Do you want girls to step out or are you cool with them?" Asked Piper.
"Oh, yeah, I'm fine," I said. I don't really want to tell them that I'm Bi yet. I placed the bottle on the floor and spun it. It spun for what felt like forever until it landed on Reyna. I looked at her, blushing.
"Erm, okay," I leaned in and quickly kissed her then pulled away, blushing furiously. The rest of the night was pretty fun. We finished spin the bottle then had a contest for who could make the craziest food combo that actually tastes good. After that we watched some Stranger Things and IT then went to bed. I couldn't sleep. Shoot.
