My name is Jason McCoy and today I start my Pokémon journey.
"Alright mom I'm heading out" I had said as I grabbed my bag only to be stopped
"I know you want to be a trainer but please there has to be a better way," she said not really happy with me.
"Mom we need the money for food and medicine the little money you make isn't enough. Please don't stop me" I say knowing what I was about to do would break her heart.
I arrive at the house of our Pokémon professor and instead of asking him for my I starter I say "I wish to join Team Rocket" much to his happiness.
When I go to sign up I'm told I have to be at least thirteen, but I can go to the Rocket Academy where I will not only learn to be an amazing member of Team Rocket, but I'll also earn some money simply for attending.
What surprised me most was that I still got to choose a starter, I had figured they would give me a Pokémon to use while in school, but I don't think about it too much and pick Bulbasaur.
After that I headed home as my school day wouldn't start until tomorrow.
