remember how i just said my life keeps getting worse the more i think it improves , well guess what! i was right .
for some reason prof.carnation entered the class followed by the rest of the class . " hustle around childrens ! i have a major announcement to make !" the teacher said as she called out to all the kids who entered the class squealing and chatting loudly . " is everyone here now?" the professor asked . the class was silent . " alright ! so , for your zoological activity the teachers are planning on taking the junior and seniors of the college on a camping trip for 3 days " the minute the professor said " camping " the entire ckass started chatting and talking among themselves . " do you have a zoological camping trip every year here? " alec asked . " who says ? this is the first time weare having a trip exactly at the start of the college year !" i said looking at the teacher. " silence !!! " the professor yelled at the class . " this camp is on friday , please ask your parents if you are allowed to attend this camping trip . if no , youvhave to get a signed letter from your parents about why you are not able to attend the trip." . after the news the entire class kept chatting about the trip with their friends . " hey alec" a girl came to my seat. alec just looked at her . " um are you coming for the trip?" the girl asked . " i guess?" he replied.
" well would you like to join me and m friends for the trip then?"
" uh ... no im going with her" alec said coldlyointing at me . i just widened my eyes to look at him . " well if you change your mind ,you know we have a seat vacant " the girl said winking at him. " yo you are not sitting with me !" i said looking at him . " dont worry I will be sitting with matt " alec said avoiding my stare .
when the collge ended , i picked my bag and ran to meet matt. " yo monkey face !" i said approahing him . " hey noodle brain !" he said looking at me from above a group of girls . " dont you want to come home ?" i asked , irritated . " hey sis dont get mad now !" matt said wrapping his arm around me . " lets go come on!". once we were out of the corridor , i pulled out my bandage . " what do i do about this now ?" i asked showing the acid scar on my hand . " first thing , thats clearly not hydrochloric acid , second thing , i actually have no idea what to do for this " matt said avoiding my gaze . " what do you mean that this is not hydrochloride acid?!?" i asked in horror .but matt didnt answer my question . " hey ! answer me ? " i said pulling his jacket . " if this is not hydrochloric acid then what is this ?!?" . matt just ignored me and kept walking . he continuously kept mumbling something to himself. i just gave up asking him what he meant , and walked silently as i observed that scar . " im naming you will !" i said looking at that scar . just then i guess i was hallucinating cause i thought a red and green light appeared from the signs.
once we reache home , i threw my snapbag on the sofa and went to the kitchen to get some snacks while matt as busy on the phone . i grabbed a pack of cookies and ran to my room . the minute i entered the room , i was face to face with my ' bubblegum bazooka ' a bazooka i was trying to invent for any ' sticky situation' . oh i dont think i told you this but i am a gadget inventer in my moms department . i get payed for making various gadgets and gizmos . my brother helps mom with various searches or stuffs related to the computer . i approached my work bench and checked the bazooka . " well" i thought " lets put the bubblegum and check if this thing works " . i stuffed few cookies in my mouth and went downstarirs to get my bubblegum tub . " finally the bazooka is ready-" just then the doorbell rang . " who coukd be here at this time ?" i thought as i opened the door and there at the door was my worst enemy . " why are you here, alec ?" i asked him as he looked at me . " your brother called me " alec said , looking at my left hand . " he had something to talk about " . i just put a fake smile and let him in . " thanks " he said as he took seat on the couch . " hey matt! alec's here !" i yelled . " oh im coming !" came his voice from the terrace of the house. i just left him there , picked up my tub and climbed to my room . " you need help with that?" alec asked as i struggled to take the bubblegum to my room . " nope ! im good " i said as i opened the door to my room .
the moment i entered the room i heard a mild chattering from downstairs, but didnt bother to overhear them. i kept the hige tub on my workbench and sat on my chair . " lets see if all of these fit in there !" i said breaking my knuckles . i opened the delicate plastic ammo tube and filled as much gum i could fill , but a huge amount of it was still left out . " welp lets make ammo out of these " i said looking at the remaing bubblegum. just then i heard a soft knock on the door and a sweet voice followed it " sweetheart , you in there?" . " yea aunt flora !" i said as i disabeled the password lock on my door . when i opened the door i was greeted by a friendly and warm face of my aunt . " how was your day ?" she asked hugging me " it was good !" i exclaimed . her eyes suddenly fell on my palm . the minute she saw the scar she gasped . " malissa ?!? what is this ?" she asked , worriedly . " i might have accidentally thrown hydrochloric acid on my hand " i said looking down . " ... and this shape ? " she pointed out . " i dont know how it happened ! i swear on pancakes i didnt do anything" i said . " ...swear on pancakes?" she asked , furrowing her brows." swear on pancakes " i said . she smiled and let go of my hand " ok , do you want anything to eat?" she asked . " nope ! i finished my bazooka " i said bringing the 38 inch gun to the door . " wow ! good job mal!" aunt flora said ruffling my hair . i couldnt help but feel proud of what i invented . " so where are you trying it?" aunt flora asked . " i dont know..." i said looking at the gun . " i cant try it in the front porch can i ?" i said making puppy eyes . " fine ! go test it out " aunt flora said cupping my face . " but ..." . " i know , take matt there just in case and im putting some spared plastic sheets on the floor " i said grabbing the bazooka and heading downstairs . " be careful!" aunt yelled behind my back .
" yup i will ! "
as i headed downstairs i heard matt and alec talking something about me . " yeah so , when do we call them ?" i heard matt ask . " we are still not sure if your sister is actually a stellar spirit , so we cant call themnow !" alec replied . " WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHES NOT A STELLAR SPIRIT ?!?" matt whisper yelled . " the griffens tears already made her mark visible ! it wont take long before they come hunting for her !" . " look matt i know you care a lot about her , but we seriously have to find out more clues if she is a stellar born or not ! " alec said , still calm . " didnt your mom ever tell you of any stellar deity , as her father ?" alec asked , sounding a little worried . " no ..." matt replied . " stellar spirit? stellar diety ? what did they just see a fantasy movie or something now ?" i thoight to myself. " amd what ' griffen tears '?" . " alec of they find out that shes a zodiac , they will literally kill her !" matt exclaimed . " hey do i have to wait for my upcoming death?! " i asked in a serious tone , trying not to laugh . both of them turned to look at me ." sis ...d-d-did you hear everything?!" matt stuttered . " yup ! now what is this zodiac thing ? now movie or book out in the stores ?" i asked laughing . but their expressions didnt change . " whoa whats with this tense atmosphere?" i smiled . " well you are gonna die !" alec said as it was not a big deal . " oh and you too if you dont get away from me " i said glaring at him . he immediately backed away from me .
" now brother " i said looking at matt . " what is this stellar spirit ?" i asked keeping the bazooka on the couch next to me . alec was just about to say something when matt smashed his hand on alecs mouth and silenced him . " w-well i-i-its a n-n-ew movie !" matt said letting go of alec . " oh and you are watching it with him?" i asked . " no " matt laughed nervously. i could sense that matt was hiding something from me . " ...brother ?" i asked looking at him . " what are you hiding from me ? " .
