Chapter 4: Betrayal

Izuku wakes up from his apartment and realizes what he did yesterday. He just killed a villain to test his new weapon. The result is remarkable. He succeeds in creating a silent, portable, and versatile gun. Izuku feels relieved that his hard work is achieving something. He starts his day with a bowl of instant ramen and watches some news on tv.

"breaking news Lynda here. Yesterday in the evening, there was a mysterious villain killing in the street alley near the traditional market. The heroes who witness Everything says, "Everything is fast. I think the murderer is using some kind of bullet that can erase a quirk. The villain himself is in the hospital and having a fatal injury on his neck. At first, I think he lost his quirk forever, but his quirk is back after 12 hours. For the murderer who did this, we still don't know about it. There is no light. No sound. Everything is quiet. That's all I can say. Stay safe, everyone." That's Everything for the news, Lynda out."

After watching the news, Izuku realizes there is some drawback with his bullet. His bullet is only removing someone's quirk for 12 hours. But Izuku thinks 12 hours is enough. After making a note about his bullet drawback, he gets ready to Jaku Hospital to get to work. He receives an urgent call that the hospital needs him. The public transportation will take a long time, so he rides his motorcycle to Jaku Hospital. Usually, it takes an hour for Deku to go to Jaku Hospital by public transportation, but it only takes a half-hour with his motorcycle. He rides a black custom motorcycle. When he arrived at Jaku Hospital, the hospital needs more workers, especially an E.R Doctor, because the U.A high school has been a raid by a villain. Suddenly there is a fairly old man of short stature. He is completely bald and has a very large, bushy mustache. He wears rather peculiar goggles.

"ah, Izuku, there you are. I need your help to take care of the U.A student and teacher who were being injured by the villains."

"Okay, sir, but why me? You know I'm not a doctor. I'm just an assistant of E.R Doctor."

"yeah, I know, but your skill is remarkable, and we need people like you. Don't worry, the other Doctor in the emergency room will help you. I'm counting on you, Izuku."

After that, Izuku and his friend Shizuka rush to the emergency room and see two teachers who are being injured. Deku and his friend start treating all of the patients start with a teacher name Shota Aizawa. After Izuku examines his injury, Izuku suggests to other Assistants and Doctors to do emergency surgery. Shota Aizawa has a fatal fractured bone on his hands, face, and ribs. It took more than seven hours to help the surgery, but Everything is a success. The second patient has already been taking care of by Shizuka friend of Izuku. After a long hour of endless work, all worker is allowed to back to their homes. Most of the Doctor and the Doctor Assistant is shocked with Izuku medical skill. Because of his remarkable skill, the Doctor is suggesting Izuku continue his education. Some of them are ready to give Izuku a full scholarship, but he needs to think about it. Izuku decides to go to his place and take Shizuka to her home.

"Hey, Deku. You are amazing. You know that."

"I'm just the best of myself, Shizuka. Without you, my head is going to explode with tons of work. You know that. Anyway, how's your parent doing ?"

"Yeah, they are good now and better than before."

"that's good to hear, Shizuka. Let's start a conversation here. So how's your school."

"agh, you know, boring and fun at the same time. You remembered the story about my friend in class ?"

After that, the two of them are having a long and nice conversation. The reason Izuku start a conversation is to build chemistry and to improve his social life. Shizuka is a tall young girl, black bob-shaped hair. Izuku knows Shizuka when both of them meet in Jaku Hospital as a working partner. Both of them share the same interest in medical knowledge. Both of them are quirkless and have the same dream, and that is to be a hero. But they know the society and the government will reject them as a hero. But Shizuka finds out that you can be a hero without being one of them, and Shizuka believes that Being a Doctor is saving people's lives. After that, Shizuka tries to ask Izuku to be a doctor like her. She sees the potential that Izuku will be a good doctor in the future. When they arrive on Izuku's motorcycle, they see Doctor Kyudai with a mysterious man. Both of them see that Doctor Kyudai is doing a transaction. After the Doctor was done with his transaction, he sprayed many lavender aerosols in his car. While Doctor Kyudai is getting inside the hospital to his office, Izuku tells Shizuka to wait for him in the lobby. Izuku checks the trunk of Doctor Kyudai cars, and he sees three body bags. The body bags smell like rotten meat. When Izuku opens up the body bags, he found a corpse. At first, he wants to puke. When he continues to open another body bag, he sees more corpses. Izuku knows there must be something in this hospital. He immediately takes a photo of it and the paper inside the trunk. After that, Izuku left Everything like before and went to the lobby to pick up Shizuka with his motorcycle. To not draw any attention, he tries to stay calm.

"Shizuka, come on."

"Okay, Deku. What happens to you? did you see a ghost ?."

"Just follow me."

After that, the two of them leaving the hospital, and suddenly Izuku stops for a bit and throws up in a lake. Shizuka knows there must be something wrong with him.

"Deku, are you alright? just tell me what happens after I go to the lobby !"

"alright. Give me a break. I need to take a deep breath. Promise to me that you never tell this to everyone."

"Okay, I promise."

After that, Izuku tells Everything about the corpse and the paper that he took. At first, Shizuka throws up. Izuku tells Shizuka that there is something wrong in that hospital. He tells about the strange lift button. Both of them is don't know what to do. If they tell this to the police, they need more proof, and second, they don't want to risk their lives. They know that Doctor Kyudai is hiding something scary. After a long discussion, they decide to go to Izuku place. When they arrive at Izuku's place, they investigate the corpse and the paper from Izuku's phone. From their investigation, the corpse is still fresh and new, probably five days or week. Second, they notice on the corpse there is a fatal wound in their head. There are three corpses in Doctor Kyudai's car trunk two female and one male. After investigating the corpse, they move into the strange paper. The paper says that Doctor Kyudai is planning to make mindless super-soldiers with code "High-End Nomu." There is a glimpse of what Nomu looks like, and their most memorable appearance was their brain. You can see them very clear. If the paper said a "High-End Nomu," there must be a low-level Nomu.

"I'm sorry, Deku, but you know too much."

Suddenly Shizuka shot on the side of Izuku's head. Izuku is fell to the floor. Shizuka wants to kill him, but instead, she whispers in his ear and says.

"I'm sorry, Deku. You are a good man, but you are just digging your own grave. I will never allow people like you to ruin my master's work. At least I can make you see your mother in the afterlife. Farewell, partner."

After Shizuka betray Izuku, she tied Izuku in a chair, move him to the dining table, and put his family photo in front of him. After that, Shizuka pours gasoline into Izuku and His apartment.

"Send my regard to your mother, Deku."

Shizuka throws a lighter to the Izuku family photo, and the fire starts to ignite him. Shizuka is leaving Izuku burnt alive in front of his family photo. At that time, Izuku thinks that this is the end of him. He awake and realize that most of his lower body is burning up with the fire. He can feel the pain, but he did not scream for the pain. The fire reaches his lower chin and his right face, but he still calm and sees his family photo. Izuku didn't know that he would die like this, but since there is no way to get out of the fire, he calmly faces his death. Suddenly there is a big explosion from his kitchen, and Izuku is thrown away into a lake near his apartment. Izuku knows that he was saved from the fire, but Everything he has and his work is gone. His belongings are thrown away from his apartment, and he sees his burned family photo and his bag. He remembers that he still have his wrist gun and the "quirk-remover" bullet he created. he sees the reflection of himself on the water. He got large burn scars on his half-face and his shoulders. Blood is dripping from his face to the water. After seeing his blood drip in the water, he fuels with rage and can not think straight anymore. When he wants to get his revenge on Shizuka and Doctor Kyudai, he knows he is not in good shape. Almost all of his body is burned, and his head is bleeding. He realized he got a small house in the corner of the city, and that's where he goes now. On the way to his small house, his eye shows a full hatred, and rage is flooding his vein. He promises to himself that he is going to make Shizuka, Doctor Kyudai, and all the villains suffer and die slowly.
