Chapter 5 : The Enigma
When Izuku arrived at his second house, the place still neat, but he needs to find a first aid kit. After finding the first aid kit, he undressed himself and saw his awful body. He now has a dozen scars on his upper and low body, probably because of a glass sharp, a burn scar on half of his face, and from his shoulder to his lower body. He is shocked about his body looks now. The scars and the wound on his body are like a story to him about his pain. After a few hours of thinking about what to do next, he decided to take a rest. When he wants to take a rest, he hears the screaming of a woman and a man. It seems that his old neighborhood is turning into a criminal base. He saw a lot of villains in there who try to kill someone's family. Without thinking twice, Izuku prepares himself to fight those criminals. When he wants to depart, he remembers that his mother, like a roman soldier. After that, Izuku sees a golden roman face mask. After using it, Izuku is ready to go to save the hostage. Izuku wears a white shirt, light brown cargo pants, black combat boots, and a golden roman face mask. He geared himself with only a hunting knife. The reason his not using his wrist gun is that he low on the quirk-remover bullet, and he wanted to train himself without that weapon. When he scouting the place, he sees several villains who are holding a rifle. He immediately went to that villain and quietly killed him by stabbing his knife on the villain's neck and covering his mouth. Izuku takes the rifle and sees another villain who sees him. When the villain wants to push the alarm button, Izuku throws the knife to his head. When everything is clear, Izuku sees the bullet in their weapon, and it turns out the bullet is similar to his "quirk-remover bullet." Without thinking twice, Izuku prepared to do a massacre of these villains.
Izuku ambushes the hall and kills every villain in the living room by shooting them with his rifle. The place is immediately swarmed by the villains, but Izuku is prepared for it. Thanks to his marksman skill, he is able to shoot every villain in the place without missing his target. When he moved to the next room, he decided to kill the villains by stabbing them in their necks. After one room to another room, he sweeps every villain on the place one by one. After making sure the place is empty, he sees a villain try to run away, and Izuku shot the villains without aiming at them. He crosschecks that the area is empty and freed the hostage. Most of the hostage said thank you to him, but he's not replying to any of them. He sees a lot of money in there, so Izuku takes it as his reward. He did some information gathering about the villains he attacked. It seems he attacked a criminal organization who work in organ theft. There is a paper where these villains had a contract with numerous people in the city, including Doctor Kyudai. There is a lot of money in their transaction, but Izuku won't allow their action. Izuku takes a photo of the transaction paper, burn the whole building, and leave the place.
When he got back to his house, he decided to make a list of people doing this transaction. He put Doctor Kyudai on the top. After Izuku has done making its list, he decided to count the money he took and get more than three million yen, which is a lot of money. He decided to look for a business opportunity and not using all of that money. He's not getting any injury, so he decided to take sleep to end the day.
Izuku wakes up, sees his reflection in the mirror and the action that he took last night. He is just doing a massacre on the villains. He questions himself, "Is this what I become ? a killer? A villain? What's the point of all of this ?". he doubted himself for killing that villains, but he remembered that he could not go back to his normal life and they get what they are deserved. They were kidnapping people and took their organs for money. Rather than overthinking his last night's action, he goes to a nearby supermarket to buy some food and listen to music to start the day.
On the way to the nearby supermarket, Izuku sees a lot of black cars toward his neighborhood. Izuku thinks that is the organ theft friends. After buying a cup of ramen and three onigiris, he realizes a three-man look like a yakuza is peeking into his house.
"excuse me, sir. What are you doing at my house ?"
"We just check in your neighborhood. Many of our guys are found dead near your house."
"okay. So are you suspecting me that I was the killer ?"
"We just want to check. Can I ask you a question? Why you have our rifle ?"
"your rifle ?"
"Yeah. In your backyard, there is one of our guns."
"hmm. I don't know. I was just back to this house yesterday. I have not been into this house since I was ten years old. I don't have anything for you, alright. You can get your rifle back. Can I ask you what just happen ?"
"our master and our group had a very important deal last night, but all of them are dead. We want to check every people in this neighborhood about it. have you hear a gunshot last night ?"
"no, I don't hear anything."
"hmm, it's strange. Your place is close to our place."
"really? I'm new here, sorry."
"all right then. Can we get in to grab our rifle ?"
"sure. Come in."
The three-man is getting inside Izuku's house. Both of them are having a little conversation that Izuku can not hear it. Izuku knows that things will go horrible if he keeps them alive. Izuku grabs his wrist gun to prepare to kill them. In his backyard, the three-man want to point a gun at Izuku, but he shot both of them right in their head. Izuku grabs their corpse back to their car, driving them into the place where Izuku raided and burned the car, including the corpse, and leave the place. On the way to his house, he decided what to do next. He knew that his life is going to be different. He didn't know that some villains or cops or hero will knock on his door one day. He decided not to think about it and prepare his breakfast. After eating his breakfast, he knew he needs a job to cover his track. He can't put all of his money in his bank account at once, which will draw attention to the authority. When he searched around the internet, he found a job that he can do at home, only requires a little bit of money and good skills at analysis, which is a stock trader. He decided to learn about it to cover track of his money.
After a few weeks, he earns decent money from being a stock trader and no need to worry about the money that he took from the villains. So far, no police or another villain came to him. He usually came to a café in the morning after his jogging to enjoy life while he can. He changes his hairstyle to a slicked-back style and wears a white t-shirt, black vest, and black pants. One day he was at his usual café to do some stock trading and listen to music while analyzing the market, and then there is a waitress came to him.
"mister? mister, please, can you hear me ?"
"yes ?"
"I'm very sorry, but can you move to another table, sir? This table is already reserved for them. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you about this, sir."
Izuku sees the people who already reserved his table, and surprisingly he sees a woman he helped, and that is Ochako and three of her schoolmates. Izuku sees two guys and one female. The one guy has spiky red hair, and the other one is having dark blue hair and wearing glasses. The female one has a frog-like style with green hair.
"Uraraka ?"
"excuse me, do I know you ?"
"it's me, Izuku, the man who helps to carry your things while you want to move to your new apartment."
"oh yeah, I remembered about that. But what happens to your face ? are you okay?"
"I'm fine, don't worry about me."
"seriously, what happens?"
"it's a long story Uraraka. Is this, your friend ?"
"Yeah, they are my friends. Guys, let me introduce you to my friend. His name is Izuku Midoriya."
"Nice to meet you, everyone."
"hi there, Midoriya. My name is Kirishima. Nice to meet you." Said the red spiky hair guy.
"name Lida. Nice to meet you, Midoriya." Said the blue hair guy.
"my name is Asui. Nice to meet you, Midoriya Kun." Said the green hair female.
"hey. Do you guys want some food? Don't worry. It's on me. And plus I want to ask you about the U.A highschool."
"Really ?" said Kirishima.
"of course."
"hey, Midoriya, you still not answering my question."
"Alright, alright. sit down."
They decided to sit down at the same table and have a long conversation about Izuku's condition. He tells his new friend that his house is burned a few weeks ago. It's resulting in a burn scar on his half-face, and He lost everything he has, but Izuku tells them that he is alright now and no need to worry about him.
"what about your parents, Midoriya ? are they alright ?" said Uraraka.
"my mother died a few months ago, and my dad, ain't seeing him since I was a kid. All I know he is working in another country."
"owh. Sorry for asking you this question." Said Uraraka.
"it's alright."
"hey, I know we just met for an hour, but if you need someone to talk to, you can count on me. I know you, someone, to talk to." Said Kirishima.
"I agree with him, Midoriya. You can talk to me and have a meeting like this." Said Lida.
"I agree with them, Midoriya Kun." Said Asui.
"thank you, everyone."
"here is my number Midoriya." Said Uraraka
After that, everyone is giving their contact with each other. Izuku leaves earlier because he needs to do something, and that is going to Jaku Hospital. When he arrived at Jaku hospital, he sees everyone there in danger. Those good doctors and the other worker is don't know that they are working with villains. after a few minutes, he decided to go home. He found an injured crow in a dark alley near Jaku hospital on the way to his home. Izuku decided to take the crow with him and heal him. Izuku sees that this is not a regular crow. The crow is having a bigger eye and doesn't have skin to cover his brain. Suddenly Izuku hears Doctor Kyudai voice and yelling.
"where are you rin ?"
The crow immediately scared and hiding in Izuku shirt. Izuku is out of the alley and decided to go to his home. In the bus, his inner self said.
"breath while you can Kyudai, Shizuka. I will stop you and kill both of you. Dies slow."
From now on, he will call himself "the enigma.".
