Hello, my lovelies! After counting up all your wonderful reviews, follows and favorites I am pleased to announce that the November 30th 2020 winner is….*epic drum roll*... Life as a Mandalorian's Slave based off of, you guessed it, The Mandalorian!
In second place is Love's Trick based on the manga Skip Beat and in third place is Lost, Found and Lost Again based on the Avenger's movie-verse.
Here's my hopeful plan for my future writing ventures. My goal is to put out a new chapter for Mandalorian's Slave every Friday. They may not always be the longest of chapters but there will be content! For my second and third place winners I'm thinking one chapter for each every two weeks. And for my other three Fanfictions based off of Narnia, Sky High and Treasure Planet respectively, I'm thinking monthly updates.

Those are my goals, feel free to send me friendly reminders if I accidentally laze off into lala land. My daily schedule is absolutely crazy right now but I think I've carved out sufficient time to make this work!
In the meantime, please enjoy the latest!

"What was that all about?" Ann asked, once they were well away from the school and had slowed down to a more comfortable speed.

"What?" Jim asked innocently as he made minute adjustments to the sail to keep them on course. Ann shot him a hard side-eye which earned her a soft chuckle from him.

"I just needed to get Liv off my back. You were conveniently close and a good enough friend that I knew you'd play along. Plus, I know you're too smart to fall for any b.s." He answered matter-of-factly.

Despite having a fairly good idea of what his thought process had been, Ann still felt a slight twinge of disappointment and rejection at his words. Of course he only saw her as a friend and she had no excuse for getting her hopes up. She should know better by now.

"You realize you just painted a huge target on my back." Ann decided to point out. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught his grimace.

"Didn't think about that." He admitted sheepishly. A sharp gust knocked the sail away from them. Ann instinctively leaned backwards into Jim to angle it back. It was a necessary move, one they had performed a hundred times, but Ann wasn't used to being the one in front. She tried to ignore the way her back pressed into his warm chest. The way his lean frame wrapped around hers as they moved with the board. The way his hands tightened momentarily over hers to help with the adjustment…

Okay. So maybe she wasn't ignoring it at all, but she gave it her best shot!

"Do you want me to teach you how to barrel roll?" Jim asked, when the sail was righted once again.

It had been awhile since Jim had volunteered to teach her anything, so for a moment Ann was confused. Until she remembered that he was using it as an apology for basically siccing Liv on her.

Taking her silence as her holding out for more, Jim huffed out a breath before saying, "Okay, fine. A barrel roll and the 'copter."

That caught her attention. "Really?!" The 'copter was a move that Jim used to slow a free fall. He had outright refused to show her how to free fall before, but maybe if he was willing to show her how to 'copter he was warming up to the idea of her doing a free fall.

"Yeah. But only if you can master the barrel roll."

Ann grinned in excitement, "Deal."

"Alright then."

Suddenly Jim was swerving the surfer off the road and out into the Deposit Hills.

"Wait, Jim! What are you doing?"

"I thought you wanted to learn how to barrel roll?" He asked, pressing her close with a hand on her hip as he shifted their direction.

"What about the groceries for the Inn?" Ann protested, twisting her neck to look up at him. She saw his jaw momentarily clench in annoyance.

"They'll keep." He bit out, before stepping back on the fuel pedal and shooting them into the hills. Effectively silencing Ann's protests as she worked to balance herself.

However, when they reached an abandoned mining factory and casually soared over the rusted gate that was supposed to bar entry, she had to put her foot down.

"Jim! We're not supposed to be here!"

"Says who?" He shot back.

"How about the big sign that said, 'Do Not Enter' back there." Ann pointed out dryly.

Jim scoffed. "That was for when this place was in operation. It's not like anyone cares what happens to it now."

"But…!"

"Look. I come here all the time. It's not a big deal!" Jim growled, jerking the surfer to a sudden stop, "Now, do you want to learn the barrel roll or not?"

After a long moment of hesitation, Ann nodded.

"Yeah, I do."

"Great. Now get off and watch what I do here."
