Disclaimer: victorious is not mine. obviously. don't make me feel bad.
my first story.
can i just say that it took me at least 30 minutes to figure out how to use the app and actually write things..maybe i'm just slow but...
anyway though, i write in lowercase because why not. so yes you guessed it, the story will be in lowercase. i'll try to update as frequent as i can with school and all. there is DEFINITELY not gonna be a set schedule though, lmao.
anyway..enjoy.
she stared. no, more like gawked. she just couldn't tear her eyes away. she physically couldn't. she knew it was wrong, to look at someone this way. to feel this way toward someone. especially for a girl. and more particular for this certain girl.
maybe it was the way her lips were upturned in a rare smile. or how her fingers played with the grass under her absentmindedly. or even how her hair fell perfectly against her face.
but the worst part about all this was how the girl was sitting right across from her boyfriend. he caused her pretty smile. she stared at them talking together. laughing.
she finally closed her eyes and buried her face in her arms, looking away from the girl and boy. silent tears made their way down her face. she didn't understand why she felt this way. yes, she didn't understand many things but this..this was different. where did these feelings come from? and why? why? she remembered back to her mom always getting upset when she asked her about same sex dating. she said it was, 'sinful' and plain out disgusting. she expressed that in many different nasty words.
so why? what did she do to deserve this? she wiped her cheeks quickly with her sleeve and looked up again. she gasped when she saw the girl sitting across from her. no boyfriend.
the girl looked concerned. "cat? are you okay?" jade west said with a rare gentle voice. jade slid her hands across the blue table to meet cat valentine's. cat could only continue staring.
"y-yeah" the pale girl moved up an eyebrow while intertwining their fingers together.
"then why are you crying?"
"because i'm disgusting" cat sniffled again. jade's frown grew a little more.
"who said that? why are you saying that?" the pale girl stated.
"a-and i'm sinful." cat looked at her sadly. she wanted to cry more. "jadey i don't understand.."
her face softened more and she shared a light smile. there it was again. that rare smile that was so pretty. cat always wondered why jade never liked showing off something so pretty. her pink lips. her eyes couldn't help but to drift to them. she could bet they were softer than any stuff animal she owned. even her purple giraffe.
cat was so focused on her lips she didn't notice that jade leaned in real close. their noses almost touching. "do you wanna kiss me cat?" jade asked innocently. cat finally looked up to jades eyes. green almost blue eyes staring intently at her. cat nodded slowly.
"y-yes.."
her eyes drifted to cats lips. cat squirmed to stop herself from pushing her lips against jades. she leaned in further, slowly. gosh, cat felt at this point jade was doing this on purpose. cat closed my eyes when she finally felt lips against her own. immediately she took in the taste of coffee. except this coffee was addicting, she never wanted to stop sipping from it. and just like she predicted, jades lips were soft. jade moved to deepen the kiss, pulling her arm around cat. cat couldn't help but moan into the kiss.
jade backed away quickly and got up from the table. a smirk playing on her face as she crossed her arms. "i'm not gay cat. i don't like girls. and if i did it wouldn't be you."
cat awoke with a gasp. she grasped for her side table to grab her water bottle. she quickly sat up, opening the water. her shaky hand brought it to her mouth. she gasped again when it spilt all over her. she huffed, now awake, and put the bottle on her night stand again. what was that? she didn't even like girls. and jadey was her best friend. that's all. and her mom never said those things, at least that she didn't remember. she grabbed her phone. 6:10.
her alarm would ring in 20 minutes. she shrugged, turning on her phone again. anything to take her mind away from her dream. she wondered if she should tell jade. she always told jade her dreams. she thought about it again. she didn't want jade to react the same way she did in her dream. not that it mattered. she groaned and decided to just check all her friends slap pages.
ROBBIE SHAPIRO:
Thinking about buying a leather jacket again...
Feeling - Thinky

TORI VEGA: Don't you already have 3?
REX: TORIVEGA - Yes. Yes he does.
she giggled when she remembered the last time he wore a leather jacket to school. she was pretty sure he was also flirting with her that day but who knows. She misunderstands people a lot so she never really thought about it to much.
TORI VEGA:
Anyone know where I can get a refund on my sister? She didn't come with a receipt. Unfortunately.
Feeling - Wazzed Off

TRINA VEGA: Jealousy, keeps ringing in my brain when I read that, I wonder why.
ANDRE HARRIS: Could say the same with my grandma. Lol.
she never understood trina either. cat was sure that trina had talent somewhere in her, just maybe not the big talents. like singing...or dancing. she was kind of good at acting. at least cat thought so. but she couldn't deny how annoying trina actually was. trina had always been bossy to cat, and mean. cat couldn't remember a time when she was mean to trina, so why was she always saying hurtful things to cat? anywho...
BECK OLIVER:
That can of lemonade actually sounds pretty good right about now
Feeling - Satisfied

JADE WEST: Told ya
BECK OLVER: JADEWEST - Yeah, yeah don't rub it in
REX: BECKOLIVER - Ha!
she always had mixed feelings for beck, and she didn't know why. he was a great friend to her, always super nice. but for some reason, a little, tiny part of her didn't like him. she was still figuring out why.
JADE WEST:
Missing someone right now...
Feeling - Irritated

BECK OLIVER: Me...?
cat sighed. they really were the 'it' couple. the perfect couple that everyone wanted to have one day. cat couldn't help but feel a slight pang of jealousy. she tossed it aside and started getting ready for school. it was probably because she wanted a relationship like theirs. right?
she finished getting ready and headed downstairs where her brother was sitting on the couch watching tv. CSI. cat marched over there and put her hands on her hips, raising an eyebrow. "dylan! you know mom said you weren't allowed to watch csi anymore!"
he nodded with a frown and changed the channel. "on your way to school?"
cat perked up again with a smile. she nodded. he chucked at her. "need a ride?"
"no it's okay i'll walk!" she stated and hopped away to the door. and with that she started off to school, skipping. scolding herself whenever her mind wandered off to her dream, or when her mind unconsciously began to crave for coffee. she let her fingers trail her lips for a second before letting out a small giggle.
yaaaay. first chapter DONE! and it's only 11:48 pm. pretty good if I say so myself.
:)
