Disclaimer: not yet, not ever. Victorious I mean. I don't own it.

it's 1:13 am. should i be writing this right now? probably not. but hey, i'm doing it anyway. hopefully someone out there will be thanking me for updating. i'm doing it for you!

by the way, i'm listening to Troye Sivan's album, 'Bloom' while writing this chapter. just thought you should know for some weird reason.

ANYWAY, stream the album positions by miss girl, Ariana Grande.

"nah it's not like that" andre argued. he was arguing with robbie, discussing if trina actually had talent. tori rolled her eyes and turned to me.

"so do you wanna hang out today? my parents are gonna be gone and i really don't wanna be alone with trina" tori looked at me with hopeful eyes.

i didn't want to make her sad. do i give her a hug? "i can't" her face immediately fell.

"i'm hanging out with jade!" i followed up quickly, making sure my excitement shunned through my voice. her face scrunched up.

"how did you convince her to do that?" she asked seriously. i hated how everyone thought of jade like that. that she was always so mean and cold. she wasn't. she was one of the kindest people she'd ever met. she could be gentle when she wanted. she was always nice to cat. sometimes she was only mean at school. but when they were alone, jade was a whole different person.

she would listen to all of cats rambling and actually pay attention, unlike most people, including tori. she would let cat hug her whenever. she was polite to her mom. jade would sit and listen to all of her problems even if they were silly and then proceed to tell her that they mattered and whatever she needed she could always come to her. she liked that jade. the jade that she never let anyone see. in a way, cat liked that. to know she was the only other person besides maybe beck who knew this amazing side to her.

"jade isn't always mean y'know" i replied loosely, examining my nails. i wish i could paint animals on my nails. imagine a whole cute elephant on my thumb nail! it would be so cute! i wouldn't know a name for it though...

"uh, yeah she is cat" tori laughed, eating a french fry.

"not with me"

tori looked confused. "what do you mean? didn't she man handle cereal to you last time? that doesn't sound very nice," she shrugged. i felt my cheeks heating up AGAIN. WHY? anytime i think about certain things mainly about jade my stomach feels like it's having a party.

"well kissing your friend's boyfriend isn't very nice. don't you think?" i asked taking her french fries. her mouth dropped, "cat! i already told you a million times i'm sorry!" she took back her french fries.

"i know i was just saying. jade may not be very nice to you but she really is the nicest person i know" tori opened her mouth to say something but quickly closed it and nodded.

"so you'll be busy all weekend?" she asked. i nodded, my smile forming again, remembering i'll have a whole weekend with jade. at least i hoped.

"hey where is jade?" i asked. noticing that she and beck weren't at any of the tables near them.

"i think beck said he and jade were gonna go get coffee at jet brew" andre piped in quickly then went back to his conversation with robbie and rex.

coffee. i hated how that one word made me feel now. it made me think of her. or her lips more specifically. and i can't think about that. she's jade and i'm cat. and it was just a silly dream. right?

"tori what do you think about dreams?" i asked.

she pondered for a moment, probably getting the right words, "i think dreams are really cool. like how they can reflect what you want in real life. or sometimes how they're just really silly." she replied.

see. my dream was definitely the second one. just a silly one. "one time i had a dream where me and mr. purple were riding a roller coaster together! i tried to tell him about it but he wouldn't listen. he said he's scared of heights"

"then he threw a toy car at him! that's why he has a small scar on his eyebrow" i explained, pointing to my left eyebrow for reference. "yep! the rim hit right in the eyebrow" she chuckled at me.

"what car was it?" she asked, still a sweet smile plastered on her face. i thought about it for a second. the color was definitely red. i remember because it matched the color of my brother's blood when it hit him. the car though? maybe a mustang? a ford? no. definitely a mustang.

"definitely a mustang" i told jade. she laughed some more then stood up from my bed.

"i'm gonna make some coffee" she stated walking toward the door. i followed leisurely behind. before she even got to the kitchen i piped up with an idea. a pretty good one. at least it was for me. i would have to do a bit of begging on my part to convince jade.

"we should make hot chocolate! with marshmallows!"

she turned around and began to open her mouth, i already knew what was going to come out. a big fat 'no'.

"please jade! please please please pleaseeeee!" i begged her, doing my best to make a pouty face. what can i say, i knew it got to her. i don't know why. she always said she hated when people pouted around her. maybe that's why it always worked. because she hated it so much that she just wanted me to stop. i internally smiled. i always did get what i wanted with her. there was not one time when one of her "no's" actually worked. in fact, it would only encourage me more.

again. loved that.

"no way" she laughed, opening the cabinet to get the coffee beans. she had been over enough times for my mom to just buy the coffee materials for her.

"jadey please! i won't ask for anything else tonight i promise! pleaseee!" i clung to her arm. she groaned and shook her head at me. she tried to pry me off her but i just hardened my grip on her arm.

"cat! you're not gonna do this, this time!" she groaned. i sighed and let go of her arm. fake sniffling, wiping my arm on my nose. i blinked out a few tears and proceeded to look at her. her face softened for a second before she replaced it with a scowl.

"fine!" she yelled putting the coffee away. i clapped my hands together, smiling. she groaned, but i saw it. a small smile threatening to come out. she made the hot chocolate while i took a seat there, deciding to watch her. she didn't seem to mind, every once in awhile she would glance my way and smile. and everytime i had to look down because i could feel my face getting hot. it made me wonder if she knew? what if she could read my mind? what if she already knew the dream i had?

ever since my dream i couldn't stop thinking about that addicting taste of coffee. it made me question if her lips actually tasted like coffee. i wanted to know so so bad.

despite my efforts, i couldn't help but want another dream like that. i figured it was the only place where i can fulfill my addiction to that coffee taste.

she snapped me out of my thoughts by placing a mug in front of me.

i peered in it. marshmallows! "careful it's hot" i nodded in response and blew in the cup.

"thank you!"

she rolled her eyes and sipped her hot chocolate. "yeah, yeah your welcome"

and that's a wrap for this chapter. i should probably get some sleep now huh?

please review!
