Fire, screaming, darkness. Another village had fallen. Flames leaped into the black sky, pouring smoke, blocking out the stars and moon, consuming all within range. The iron smell of blood filled the air, and puddles of the glistening substance coated the ground beneath still bodies, reflecting the terrible light of the flames.
People fled and cried to Notch for mercy, screamed in fear and terror as flames roared and crawled ever nearer as they fled. The fire was deadly, yes…
…but it was not the only thing that would kill the humans in this village.
For a demon had come, a demon that had resided in this world since the First Years. No one knew of his origin, and yet all knew of his forbidden name. The name that was not to be spoken…the name that followed a path of destruction carved around a beautiful, haunted valley.
