Chapter 4: Before Ever After part 4 (Trouble brewing)
They had to cut the banquet short and now... "Oh, I feel horrible about Eugene." Cassandra and Valor sat on Rapunzel's bed listening. "I.. I do love him, and I want to marry him someday... but not like this!" Rapunzel groans. "Ugh!.. I need to get out and clear my head without a fleet of guards tailing me."
"I can understand that." Valor smirks. "Say no more." Cassandra said. "We're you getting out of here." Both girl smiled widely and with Cassandra leading, they left her room.

Entering Cassandra room. She went to her closet. Opening Valor gulps looking at all her weapons. 'Note to self. Never anger Cassandra.'
"Whoa!" Rapunzel said in shock seeing all the weapons. "Where's the war?" She asked her best friend. "I've never seen so many weapons in one place how?" Valor asked her.
"Well, when your dad is the Captain of the guards, you tend to collect stuff." Cassandra pulls out a hidden dagger. "Duly noted." Rapunzel ends up dropping a spike ball on the ground. Quickly putting it back she grabs a cloak. Valor takes one as well.
Then they look over to see Cassandra was no longer wearing a dress but more of a solider attire. A sword attach on her back. "I have a feeling this is going to be fun." Rapunzel pulls through hood up and smiles widely. Valor fastens the cloak around her. "Pascal, I need you to stay here and make sure no one knows I'm gone." Rapunzel orders her friend.
Pascal squeaks in salutes. Valor smiles. "Good. We will be counting on you." Valor adds. With that they hurried off.

Eugene made his way to Rapunzel's room. Only to be stopped by guards. "The princess, lady in waiting and friend made it expressly clear.." "Huh? Lady in waiting..what? You mean Cassandra? First off calling Cassandra a "lady" anything, is being incredibly generous. Secondly, come on, Stan. It's me, your buddy. Eugene. Eugene the fiend. You Rapunzel would want to talk to me if you let me in." Eugene tried you bribe the guard.
"I'm sorry Eugene, orders are orders. All right. Just doing your job. I respect that." Eugene turns to leave but stops. "You sure there's on way to let me in? Eugene begs him then points at his outfit. Stan smiles and lets them in.
"Rapunzel?" Eugene calls out. Pascal acts quickly. Setting up everything turning on the light outline a fake Rapunzel for Eugene to address.
"Ah, there you are, um.. look, Rapunzel, I'm sorry." Eugene starts. "I'm so sorry. I should have put you on the spot like that." Pascal was struggling to hold everything up.
"But, I want you to know, I mean it. I want to mary you, I love you." Then a fly flew by Pascal. He begins moving trying to catch it. "It's okay, you're still upset, I understand. You're not ready to say it back yet. Totally cool." Eugene said leaning back.
"Oh man, that is a good pillow! What is that goose down? Some kind of down? Horse hair? Alpaca?" Eugene asked. Pascal squeaks putting fake hands on the dummy. "Sorry, look.. I know there's still a ton of details we need to figure out.. and I may have jumped the gun a little. It's just that.. growing up poor and alone.. I got use to having nothing. But now with you, I finally have something you know? We have something. Something that's amazing. And I guess tonight I was just trying to keep it that way. And I thought that's what you wanted too.m, but I guess I was wrong." Eugene rambles.
Pascal squeaks. "Oh, come on, say something." Then her head fell off. Eugene jumps and screams in shock. Running over. Removed the barrier showing Pascal. Who turns pink.
"Fantastic. I just poured my heart out to a frog. Okay, where did she go?" Pascal gives sheepishly look. "Pascal, you do realize that if the king finds out she's gone, we're all going to be in big trouble right?"
Outside the two guards kept taking. "I'm aware it's not protocol, Pete, I just happen to think it highlights my mustache." Stan said. "Hey, Stan great look! I mean it really brings out the stache!" Eugene day the hurried off.

"All right, you got us all down here, what's the plan of yours?" The thug asked the servant. "Oh, it's not my plan, boys. It's Lady Caine's plan." Pocket says as whispers rang out. "Did he just say Lady Caine?" The thug asked.
"You see, 18 years ago the princess was taken from Corona, and it was because of her the king unfairly cracked down on all those he considered undesirable. Us." He said. "Yeah, so?" The thug asked. "Gentlemen." Picks up the apple. "Lady Caine is promising not only to make you all rich, but is offering you the opportunity to exact revenge on the king and his precious little princess." Pocket tosses the apple. It smashed into the banner behind others.
"So, who's in?" He asked them with an evil grin.
