Author's Note: I'm glad I managed to finish my first fanfic. Thanks to everyone who read it :)

Snow awoke in a cool tub filled with ice cubes. Feeling a little groggy, Snow slowly examined the room he was in. The walls were lava rock. Scattered across the walls were glowing crevices filled with magma. Gold adored the room, a signature of Heat's. Speaking of, there in the corner sat Heat himself. He was slumped on a table; fast asleep.

"HEAT," Snow exclaimed. Heat shot up, very much awake and alert. Snow rushed out of the tub, tripping over his feet, as he grabbed Heat in a tight hug. Steam began to fill the room as Snow embraced Heat. Heat only hesitated for a brief second before returning the hug.

"Hey, Snow. I... I don't know what to-,"

"Heat. I'm so sorry. For everything. I should have been there for you. I... I was really worried about you. You're my brother, and I can't lose you. I- I love you, Heat," Snow disclosed as he began to cry icy tears. Heat's own eyes began to tear up as well. Both just stood there sobbing together, for what felt like a blissful eternity, before Heat slowly pulled away, wiping his own tears away,

"Snow. You know I can have a hard time with this stuff but thank you. Thank you for saving me and... and I love you too," Heat replied with a glowing smile.

Snow smiled back but soon grew concerned. Heat was away from his natural temperature for quite some time,

"Are you okay? Do you need to lay down? Are you cold? Maybe I should get one of your doctors in here?" Snow started towards the door, intending on finding Heat's best doctor before Heat gently grabbed him.

"Snow. Snow. I'm fine. I had a wonderful lava bath. I feel a lot better. Still a tad chilly for my liking, but I'm okay. Really. I'm okay because of you. I certainly underestimated the humans. They're not immortal, but they can be very determined when they want to be," Heat affirmed as he let go of Snow.

Heat shuffled his feet a bit. His cheeks were burning red. Heat then said, "We better get you home, Snow,"

"NO," Snow practically screamed. Panic in his eyes.

"I'm not leaving your side. So, you better get used to me being here, Fireball," Snow said with determination while crossing his arms.

Heat smiled, "I guess we can have a room that suits your temperature for a few days. I kinda don't... I don't want to be alone..." Heat mumbled out while looking at the floor. Snow knew that whatever Heat went through had to be rough on his mind. He wouldn't leave his brother in his time of need. Not ever again.

"We should at least visit mother to let her know you're okay," Snow said.

Heat nodded his head, "She actually stopped by a few minutes ago. She's the reason you're okay, Snow. She wants us both to rest for now. We've both been through a lot,"

"We?! Come on Heat. You were basically tortured!" Snow stated; throwing up his arms. Heat flinched at the memory.

"I mean, how ungrateful those little snobs are? You practically give life to this world, and this is how they repay you?!" Snow fumed.

"I have half a mind to do something-" Heat laid a hand on Snow's shoulder. Snow stopped shaking. He hadn't even realized he was shaking.

"It's okay, Snow. You shouldn't hurt them just because of the few bad apples." Heat gently said. Snow looked at him. He could see bags under Heat's eyes. He looked exhausted.

"You're right, Heat. Come on. Enough talking. Let's get you to bed," Snow said as he tugged Heat out of the room. Heat didn't even protest. He allowed himself to be guided to his room. After going through various elaborate hallways, they finally reached the door to Heat's room. There, waiting at the door, were a couple of Heat's minions.

Heat turned to one of his minions,

"Set a room up for my brother. He'll be staying for a bit," the minion saluted and scurried off. The other minion softly grabbed Heat's hand. Heat smiled at him, once again Heat was being dragged along to his bed. All three entered the room. The room itself was covered in gold. There was a gorgeous golden chandelier, a golden desk stacked with papers, golden chairs, and in the back center of the room sat Heat's bed. A small lava river ran around the bed. The gold headboard reflected the light of the lava, giving the room a warm glow .

"I can't stay in here too long, but let me sit by you, Heat," Snow asked as the minion escorted Heat into bed. The same minion pulled a chair close to the bed as well. With that, the minion saluted before heading outside the room to guard.

Snow sat down. Heat was already falling asleep. The stress of the past few days overwhelming him.

"Goodnight, Heat. I'm glad you're home now," Snow uttered before Heat fell into a deep slumber. They were safe and together again.
