This story is separate from my other stories. This is a crossover with Doctor Who.

Bo and Luke were driving back from helping a friend move. Bo was in the General and Luke was in Jesse's truck. Bo was about 20 minutes behind Luke, when Luke was stopped by a young child standing in the middle of the road.

"What seems to be the problem, son?"

"The ghost got my friend, Johnny."

"Ghost? What are you talking about?"

"We was at the old Pringle house. He went inside the house and now I can't find him."

"Get in, son. I'll radio my cousin to help look." The kid got into the truck and Luke picked up the cb. "Lost sheep one to Bo, come back."

"What ya need, Luke?"

"Can't talk about it over the cb. Meet me at the old Pringle house."

"Luke, we don't have time for games."

"Found Dobro's kid brother walking home. Can't find his friend."

"Meet ya there." Luke arrived at the Pringle house and looked around the outside as Bo drove up 15 minutes later. He got out of the General and walked up to Luke, who explained everything to him.

"I'll check the upstairs."

"Okay, Bo. I'll go down in the cellar." Luke looked at the kid and told him. "You wait here." They walked into the house and Bo made his way up the stairs and looked around.

When Bo saw something out of the corner of his eye, he walked to the door that he just noticed was there. He opened the door and glanced in.

"Is there anyone in here?" Just then a giant eye ball appeared in the crack of the wall.

"Prisoner Zero has escaped. Prisoner Zero has escaped." Bo was startled and stepped back. He backed up too far and hit the banister of the stairs. The banister gave way and Bo fell, landing hard onto the stairs. Luke had just made his way up the cellar stairs and heard the noise from the fall.

"Bo?" Luke called as he made his way towards the source of the noise. "Bo!" Luke ran to Bo, who was laying unconscious on the middle of the stairs. Luke removed part of the banister that was on top of Bo. "Bo?" With shaky hands, Luke felt for a pulse. He let out a sigh of relief when he found one. "Hold on Bo." Luke ran to the General and grabbed the cb.

"Breaker one-nine to Tri-County Hospital, come back."

"This is Tri-County Hospital, what is your emergency?"

"I'm at the old Pringle house, on Miller Road. My cousin fell down the stairs. He's unresponsive."

"Help is on the way." Luke threw the cb mic down and looked at the kid. "Stay here." He ran back into the house to Bo. He reached Bo as he was waking up.

"Bo?" Bo looked at Luke and grinned. "What happened?"

"I don't know."

"Where are you hurt?" Bo closed his eyes and slowly opened them once again.

"I can't feel my legs, Luke." Luke gave him a worried look. "I can feel pain in my back but not my legs."

"Hold on. Help is coming." When Luke heard the ambulance siren he told Bo. "I'll be right back." Luke ran outside. "He's in here." He told Harley as he stepped out of the ambulance. When Luke saw that Dobro's brother was no longer alone, he walked up the former missing kid and asked. "Where in the world were you?" As Luke was talking to the boys, Harley went inside to help Bo.

"I was hiding. Just playing a joke."

"A joke? My cousin got hurt looking for you!" The boys were now near tears. "Get your butts home right now before you get into more trouble with me!"

"Yes, sir." Luke watched them leave, then went back into the house.

"Bo, where are you hurt?" Harley asked him.

"My back hurts." Bo winced in pain. "I can't feel my legs." Harley placed a C collar onto Bo's neck.

"Luke, I need your help with the back board." They placed the back board next to Bo.

"Bo, I need to roll you onto your side." Harley looked at Luke and told him. "Luke, help me with him. Take hold of his legs, we roll him on three." Luke got into position. "Ready? One, two, three." As they turned Bo onto his side, he screamed in pain. "I'm sorry Bo." They got Bo onto the board. "Luke, on the count of three we're gonna lift him onto the gurney." They placed Bo onto the gurney, got him into the ambulance and made their way to the hospital.

When they got into the hospital, Harley relayed the information to the Doctor on call. "Spinal injury. Blood pressure is 127/80. In and out of consciousness. Has feeling in his back, no feeling in his legs." They took Bo back to the exam room and Luke walked to the waiting room.

"Luke, what the heck happened?" Harley asked as he joined Luke in the waiting room. Luke told Harley what happened. "So the kid was playing a joke and Bo got hurt as a result."

"Yeah, kid didn't know any better. Not really his fault." Luke replied.

"They had no business being there in the first place." Harley told Luke as he sat down on one of the chairs in the waiting room. "I have to get back to work, hope Bo will be alright."

"Thanks, Harley." They shook hands and Harley went back to work. About an hour later, the doctor came out and talked to Luke.

"There may have been damage to his spine from the fall. We have to wait until the swelling goes down to see the extent of it."

"Can I see him?"

"He's heavily medicated right now." When the doctor saw the sadness in Luke's eyes, he added. "You can visit for only several minutes."

"Thank you."

"Room 109." Luke made his way to Bo's room and quietly walked in. He saw Bo in a drug induced sleep, with IVs in his arms and oxygen tubes in his nose. Luke stayed in the room for 15 minutes before he made his way home, to tell Jesse the bad news. Jesse was devastated with the news and demanded that Luke take him to see Bo.

"Now, Jesse. He's heavily sedated and visitors are restricted." Seeing Jesse had no choice, he had to wait until morning. Jesse and Luke visited Bo as often as they could over the next three days.

Several days later, when Luke was on his way to the hospital to see Bo, he saw a car on the side of the road near the damn. He slowed down because it was strange for someone to be near the damn when the gates were open. As he slowed down he heard a women screaming for help. He ran to the shore and saw the lady holding onto a branch that was half in the water.

"Hold on!" Luke went back to the General and grabbed a rope from the trunk. He tied it to the push bar on the General, then made his way back to the lady. Luke tied the rope around his waist and went into the water. He pulled the lady out of the rushing water and got her to shore.

"You alright, ma'am?" He asked as he untied the rope from his waist.

"Yeah, thanks."

"Not very smart being that close to the water, when the gates are open." He told her as he made his way back to the General.

"I was taking pictures. Slipped on the rocks." She replied as she followed him.

"You need to be more careful." Luke untied the rope from the push bar and threw the rope into the trunk and left. She watched him leave, a little confused at his somewhat uncaring tone.

When Luke got to the hospital and made his way to Bo's room, a Doctor approached him. As he saw Luke's soaking wet clothes, he gave Luke a confused look.

"Long story."

"Right. Luke, may I have a word with you?"

"Yeah." The Doctor took Luke aside and told him. "I got some good news. His spinal injury is considered an incomplete injury. He still has sensory function below his waist. Which means, with time and therapy he has a great chance of regaining movement in his legs."

"Does he know?"

"I just told him before you arrived."

"How did he take it?"

"Pretty good. I told him he will need therapy and time to fully heal. For now, he will have to use a wheelchair to get around. Once he gets stronger, he will use braces on his legs and crutches to get around."

"Can I see him?"

"Of course." Luke walked into the room and saw Bo looking out the window.

"Hey, Bo." Bo looked over towards Luke. Luke could tell that Bo had been crying. "Bo?" Luke knelt down and placed his hands onto Bo's lap and looked at him.

"I won't be able to drive. Or help on the farm. Hell, I won't be able to go to the bathroom by myself."

"I'll help you." Bo gave Luke a confused look. "It's okay, I don't mind."

"You mean to tell me, you're willing to help me take a bath or use the bathroom?"

"Of course. That's what family is for."

"How are you going to run the farm and take care of me?"

"I can ask Coy to move back and help."

"I don't want to be a burden to anyone. Especially to family."

"You could never be a burden to me. I'm in love with you Bo."

"I love you too but come on. I can't expect you to take care of me."

"I'm in love with you, Bo. Believe me I don't mind."

"I heard you. Your in love with me, how many times are..." Bo stopped talking and looked at Luke. "What?" Bo was the only one that knew that Luke was bi. In fact, he thought he had feelings towards Luke but was confused on how he really felt.

"I'm in love with you. I didn't want to tell you like this..." ..."When exactly were you going to tell me?"

"I'm sorry. I should leave." Luke was about to stand when Bo grabbed Luke's wrist hard and pulled him back down. Luke was surprised when Bo did that.

"You certainty pick one hell of a time to tell me, Lukas." Before anything else could be said, the doctor walked into the room.

"It's time for therapy." The doctor had a feeling that he had interrupted something. "Is everything alright?"

"Yeah." Bo replied. Bo looked at Luke and told him. "We need to talk later. Okay?" Luke smiled and nodded. After Bo got back, they both had a long talk about their relationship.

"I best get going. Coy should still be up. Hopefully he can help."

"See ya later, Luke." Luke left the hospital and gave Coy a call.

When Luke called Coy, he was told that he could not help. Coy had recently bought the farm down the road from the Duke farm. Plus, he had a new born son to take care of. Coy's girlfriend had died shorty after she had the baby, so Coy had no help with the baby. Coy told Luke that he could help with planting and the harvest but he could not move back. Vance had gotten married and ran his own farm now, so he could not help. Luke was able to get Enos and Cooter to help with the morning chores, so he only had to do Bo's night chores with his. Even with the help in the morning, Luke was overwhelmed and stressed out. Bo was in the hospital for three weeks.

One month after Bo was released, it was racing season. This was the first time in 10 years that the General Lee wasn't entered in a local race. At first the other drivers were happy but after a couple of races, half the drivers didn't bother to enter. It wasn't fun for them anymore. Several drivers entered simply to beat the General Lee, just for bragging rights. Now that the Duke boys weren't racing, they didn't see the point of it. Since Bo couldn't drive, he got more and more depressed. Cooter had gotten the doors unwelded so Bo could ride shot gun. Thinking that would help him but it didn't.

It's been 3 months since Bo's accident in the house. He was able to make his way around the farm in his wheelchair but Luke had to help him with his showers and getting dressed. His muscles were getting stronger, so he was able to use crutches and braces on his legs so he could walk. But since he tired easily from using the crutches, he still couldn't do a lot around the farm. Luke was tired from doing most of the chores; because of Jesse's age he couldn't help as much. Daisy was gone with L.D. on the rodeo circuit. So Enos would come over before going to the Police station and help with the horses and sheep.

Early in the morning, Luke got a phone call from Cooter. When Luke got Cooter's call, he was mad. He slammed the phone down as Jesse entered the room.

"Everything alright, Luke?"

"I can't do this anymore, Jesse. I'm tired of being his baby sitter." Luke didn't realize that Bo was in the living room and heard what he had said. Thinking that Luke was talking about him, he got even more depressed. He knew he was a burden but he didn't think Luke would ever think that he was. Bo went back to their bedroom and looked out the window.

"To who?" Asked Jesse.

"Cooter. He got himself arrested last night for fighting. I can't deal with this, Jesse." Luke sat down onto the kitchen chair and laid his head down onto his folded arms. "I'm so tired."

"I know, son. I'd go down there myself but I can't drive anymore."

"He's got the money for his bail at his farm. He just needs it delivered." Luke lifted his head, drew in a long breath and pushed back his hair. "I'll get Bo." Luke went into the bedroom and saw Bo looking out the window.

"Hey, Bo. Cooter got himself arrested last night. Got to go to his house, grab his bail money and go get him. Want to go with?" Bo smiled and replied. "Sure. I put my braces on, so I can walk into the police station."

"Come on." Luke walked next to Bo to the General and opened the door.

They got into the Police Station and saw that Enos was the only one there.

"Hey, Luke. Bo, how are you?" Bo only shrugged as he sat on the corner of the desk.

"Here's his bail money, Enos." Luke took the envelope out of his jean jacket pocket and handed it to Enos. Enos took out fifty dollars and handed the envelope back to Luke.

"I'll get you a receipt." He filled out the receipt and went to get Cooter out of the cell.

"Hey, thanks Luke." Cooter told Luke, as Luke walked up to the cell; to give Cooter the rest of the money that was in the envelope. They stood by the desk on the opposite side of Bo. Enos went down the two steps and stood by Bo.

"Glad to see you up and walking." Enos said to Bo.

"Yeah, it's taking a lot of time. Luke has so many chores now. Feel bad about that."

"Things will get better. I can help for as long as you need me." Enos turned his back towards Bo and replied to Luke.

"I heard Doc was looking into finding a way to get you some help on the farm."

"I know a different way." Bo grabbed Enos' gun and pushed him away. Bo cocked the hammer back and put the gun to his head.

"Bo! No, don't!" Yelled Luke, as Bo pulled the trigger. Bo opened his eyes when he felt someone's hand on top of his.

"You don't want to do this, Bo. Trust me." The dark haired man smiled.

"Who are you?"

"I'm the Doctor." No one in the room moved or said a word. "Give me the gun, Bo." The Doctor had his hand on the gun, with one of his fingers between the hammer; so the gun would not go off. Bo just stood there not moving. Finally he spoke. "Can't do that." Bo tried to pull back his arm from the Doctor's grip but found that he couldn't. The Doctor had too much of a grip on his arm.

"It will be alright. I'm here to help."

"How?" Feeling defeated, Bo let loose of his grip on the gun and let the Doctor take it. The Doctor carefully pulled the hammer back the rest of the way, to release his finger.

"Ah, that's better." As he was unloading the gun, he explained himself.

"None of this was supposed to happen. Your timeline got messed up because of something I did." The Doctor continued to talk as he emptied the gun. He let the bullets fall to the ground, then he put the revolver into his pocket. "I fixed the universe but prisoner zero came threw a crack in time that was in the wrong place and decade."

"What do you mean?" Luke asked.

"There was a crack in time but in another time period and place. Time was collapsing in on itself, everything happening at once. Before I could reset time, prisoner zero came threw the crack in time in that house..." "Thus changing my timeline."

"Yes, Bo. Not just yours but hundreds of people in this universe." He walked up to Luke. "That woman you saved from drowning. She was suppose to die that day, that was her destiny. She was the one that started the fire 2 months ago in Tennessee."

"The one that killed 10 of the smoke jumpers?"

"Yes. It wasn't their time to die. That caused a ripple effect that spanned generations."

"What can you do about it?" Bo asked.

"I can go back on your timeline and change your past. Stop you from entering that house. But I can't do that if you die in the future."

"Why did it take you so long to find me?"

"Time is a strange thing. It's not linear. It took me some time to find where and when the event happened that changed so many lives. I have no control over time."

"But you do now? That makes no sense!" Bo almost yelled at him. The Doctor touched Bo on the side of his head and Bo collapsed to the floor.

"Bo?" The Doctor grabbed Luke by the arm and stopped him from rendering aid.

"Don't touch him. He's fine, only sleeping." The Doctor walked out the door and the three heard a strange whooshing sound. They looked at each other then back to Bo but did not touch him; they waited to see what the strange man was going to do.

Months earlier

As Bo was driving towards the house, he saw a man standing in the middle of the road. Bo hit the horn to alert the man but he did not move. Bo slammed on the brakes and swerved to the right. As he did that, the front passenger side tire blew out. Bo gained control over the General and came to a stop. Bo sat there for a minute before he turned the engine off. He pulled himself out of the General and looked around. The man in the road was gone.

"Where did he go?" Bo looked across the fields and up the road. The man was nowhere in sight. Bo went around the front and looked at the tire, then preceded to walk to the trunk. He took out the tire and set it by the front bumper. Then he went back to the trunk to get the jack and lug wrench.

"Where is it?" Bo asked himself as he looked in the trunk for the lug wrench. He searched for 5 minutes before he found it. As he returned to the front, he noticed that the tire had rolled down the embankment.

"Really?" Bo looked up to the sky, when he heard thunder in the distance. He saw lightning flash across the clear blue sky and a bad feeling overtook Bo.

"What the hell is going on?" Bo made his way down to retrieve the tire. As he picked up the tire, it started to rain hard. Bo slipped several times as he made his way back up the embankment. It took him almost 30 minutes to put the tire on, because the wrench kept slipping off of the wet lug nuts. When he finally got the tire on, it stopped raining. Bo looked up to the sky and shook the water from his hair.

"That figures." Bo was dripping wet, head to toe as he put the flat tire and other items back into the trunk. He slammed the trunk lid shut and made his way to the driver's side. Just as he lifted his leg to get into the General, an earthquake hit. Bo fell to the ground as he lost his balance. Several minutes later everything was calm. Bo picked himself off of the road and looked around.

He saw the strange man standing in the field about 200 yards away. "Hey! Hey you!" He yelled at the stranger. As he was about to approach the strange man, the cb came to life.

"Lost sheep to Bo, come back." Bo stopped and looked at the cb. When he glanced back towards the field, the stranger was gone again.

"What the hell is going on?" He started to walk towards the field, when the cb came to life once again.

"Lost sheep to Bo Duke, come back." Bo walked back to the General and grabbed the mic.

"What you need, Luke?"

"Found the kid. Turns out he wasn't missing. Just playing a joke on his friend."

"Well, the joke wasn't very damn funny."

"Watch your language, Bo."

"Well, damn it! I almost got into an accident looking for that kid."

"You okay?"

"No, I'm soaking wet from the rain and muddy, when I slipped down the embankment, trying to get the spare tire."

"What rain?"

"What do you mean, 'what rain?' It down poured for a half an hour, not 5 minutes ago."

"Not where I was at."

Bo looked at the ground that was still wet. He unknowing pressed the cb mic button, so Luke could hear him talking to himself. "What is going on?"

"Bo?" Bo got into the General and started him up.

"I'll see you when I get home. I need to get the hell out of here." Bo put the mic down and drove as fast as he could back to the farm. Bo smiled as he got out of the General; when he saw Luke standing by the truck. He felt as if he was given a second chance on life. So he decided to tell Luke how he felt towards him. After Bo told him what had happened on the way to the Pringle house, he told Luke about his true feelings towards him.

At first Bo thought Luke would be mad but Luke only smiled and shook his head. "We need to go and talk somewhere private." They walked to the pond that was on their property and sat down under the tree; as a thick fog was rolling in over the pond.

"So, you think something bad was going to happen to you? Like what?"

"I don't know, Luke." They sat quietly next to each other for several minutes, until a voice broke the silence.

"I'm glad things worked out for you." They both starred at the strange man in the tan trench coat, that somehow was only feet away.

"You're him. The one in the road." The Doctor just smiled.

"You two will have a long and happy life here. The Duke farm will continue on for generations." The Doctor turned around and started to walk into the thick fog. He stopped and turned back towards the two, that were sitting by the tree silent. "Take care you two."

"You too." Bo replied. The Doctor smiled as he walked into the fog. Luke looked at Bo when they both heard a strange whooshing sound.

"This has got to be the strangest day ever."

"Got that right, Bo."

They all lived a happy and long life in Hazzard.
