Ch 1 Prelude
Harry Potter had a difficult childhood, his twin brother Charles Potter had more attention from their parents after that night.
Harry was a unique child from the first place; he always had an interest in books and fascinated by history, folklore, and myths both in the muggle and the Wizarding World. One night in the Potter Family cottage a cloaked figure dressed in black broke into their home. "LILY IT'S HIM TAKE CHARLES UPSTAIRS!" James yelled at the bottom of the stairs.
"WHAT ABOUT HARRY?!" Lily yelled back at her husband as he was trying to hold the Dark Lord off. Harry looked at his mother who was rushing with Charles in her arms to their nursery
"TAKE HIM TOO!" James retorted.
"Mommy?" Harry ran up to her still holding one of his books in his small arms. Lily placed Charles in his crib as she turns around lifting harry in her arms "Mommy what's going on?" he asked his mother.
She turns around to see her firstborn son walking up to her with fear in his emerald eyes. "HARRY, come here. I will place you with your brother." she picked him up from the ground and rushes inside the nursery where his younger brother was crying in his crib.
"Don't worry, daddy will hold off the scary man." She said calming her sons when a loud explosion scared the three. Both boys cried as the black figure approach them from the stairwell entering the nursery. "Expelliarmus!"
"Stupefy!"
The spell causes Lily to fly over to the other side of the nursery causing the boys to cry out for their mother. Both Charles and Harry saw the disfigured man raises his wand ready to kill the boys. "Soon nothing will rival me, and the wizarding world will be mine for the taking!" Voldemort laughs as he cast the killing spell at them.
Harry thought of something quick then remembers the spell that their grandfather taught him before he died. He drew the exact rune that he showed him as he did the curse rebounded to the dark lord. The curse causes a reaction that destroyed Voldemort's physical body but a piece of his soul travels to the one who created the protection rune, Harry. The reaction also causes an explosion that causes some debris to fall on the boys.
A small rubble scratch Charles's forehead giving him a lighting scar like his brother. James ran upstairs to see his wife unconscious in the corner. He then realizes his two sons where nowhere to be seen, he turns his attention to the crib "BOYS" he swiftly went over to the crib getting the debris out of the way.
Once the debris was clear he saw that both his sons were alright and took a closer look at them. Both boys have scars on their forehead he picked them up as he tries to comfort them. Lily got up placing her hand on her head. "James? Are the boys safe?"
James nodded as he gave Harry to her, "Yes, both boys are safe!" he said. as Charles claps happily bouncing in his father's arms.
"That's Great!" Lily said hoisting Harry in her arms. Harry decides not to reveal that he's the one that saves himself and his brother, seeing his parents happy is just enough for him.
The next day Harry was reading a book of the Knight of the Roundtable in his room while Charles is playing with his toys on the other side of the room. A knock on the door caught the boy's attention as he made his way to the stairs to see who the person might be.
James opened the door to reveal Albus Dumbledore standing on the doorway of the cottage. "James my boy! I'm glad you and your family are safe from the attack," he gave the Potter head a grandfatherly smile. "I have an important matter to speak to you and Lily about regarding your son." The old man said to him.
"Of course, headmaster, come right in." James let in the headmaster inside his home leading him to the living area. "Lily, Headmaster Dumbledore is here." He called out to his wife.
Lily peered her head from the kitchen as she smiles at the headmaster. "Just a second," She went back into the kitchen taking out some cookies and tea to severe to Dumbledore. "Why don't you sit, headmaster, and have some refreshments." She offers him.
"I'm happy too, my girl," Dumbledore said taking the teacup from the former Gryffindor's hands. He took a sip from the cup as he took a cookie from the tray. James and Lily took their seats near the headmaster waiting for him to finish his tea.
"What do you want to talk to us about, Dumbledore?" James asked.
Dumbledore place down his teacup as he looks at both Potter parents. "Professor Trelawney foretold a prophecy that one of your sons has the power to defeat the Dark Lord once and for all." He told them gasping that one of their sons can defeat that monster. "Though I'm not sure who, after the attack last night here, have the both of you suspect anything out of a sort regarding your sons?" he asked.
Both James and Lily thought hard remembering what happened last night. Then a bulb in James's mind sparks. "Now that you mention it, Charles did have this weird scar on his forehead shape like a lightning bolt while Harry has a cut." He explains to him.
Dumbledore nodded. "Can I see them?" he asked.
Lily and James oblige as they lead them upstairs to where the boys are. Harry overheard them and scurry back to the playroom where he once was. Harry picked up his book like nothing has happened for the last minutes and pretend to read. His parents and the headmaster enter their playroom making Charles ran up to his father. "DADDY!" he cried.
Harry decides to do the same but to his mother. Both boys were in their parents loving arms where Dumbledore took a better look at their new scars. Charles hides away from the old man into his father's chest as James cooed making him feel better. "Interesting," he said as he moved on to him. "Very interesting,"
He pulled away from the boys and look at both parents. "I think I know who defeated the Dark Lord." He said to them.
"Why don't we take this downstairs, Dumbledore. Where the boys can't hear us." Lily suggested. Dumbledore nodded as the Potters lead him back downstairs leaving the boys in the room.
"Of course Lily, James may I speak to you first?" Dumbledore asked.
James blinks before nodding. "Of course Headmaster," he said leading Dumbledore in a separate room.
Charles went back to his toys and played while Harry's curiosity got the better of him and snuck to the stairs eavesdropping on their conversation. Harry could only make out a few words before his mother shouts.
"You can't be serious, Headmaster." Lily cried as her husband comfort her.
"It's for the best, Lily. Charles the youngest twin is the one who defeated the Dark Lord. If he is to defeat the Dark Lord again, then he must take top priority." Dumbledore said to the crying mother, "We can send Little Harry to your sister's where he can be loved and protected from the Dark Lord's influence." He explains further.
James turns Lily to face him "Lily, it's for the best. Harry would be in the way, if any of the Dark Lord's followers get to him then all will be lost." He said pulling her into a hug. "Just think of it; we can see Harry again once he turns eleven where he's in Hogwarts." He said as Lily wipe a tear away.
"You're right James. It's for our son's safety." She said finally understanding. She turns her head to the Headmaster and nodded "You'll take him tonight once he is asleep." She said.
"Of course, my dear." He responded.
Harry returns to the playroom thinking to himself about the conversation he heard. He looks at Charles as he played with the blocks, 'It's for the best.' Remembering the words that the old man said to his parents. He made his way to Charles as he looks at him. "Want to play with me, Charles?"
The younger twin nodded. "Yeah, here!" Charles offers a block to his older twin as they played together making a small version of Hogwarts with the remaining blocks that were there.
Later that night Lily tuck both boys to bed kiss them good night. Dumbledore enters the room taking Harry in his arms making his way down to the entrance of the doorway. He turns to the Potters as they wave their son goodbye. "Bye Harry, take care," Lily said.
"We'll see you soon," James added.
Once Dumbledore is in the clear he place down Harry on the ground and took out his wand. "For the Greater Good, I can't let you get in the way of the Prophecy." He said to the sleeping boy as he aims his wand at him casting a spell taking his magical core out of his body and into a small container he had on him. "It's for the Greater Good." He said to himself.
Dumbledore Apparate to the Dursley's house in Surry and left Harry there in a basket and a note. "Goodbye Harry Potter," he said returning to Hogwarts.
Years Later Harry Age 16
Harry was cooking in the kitchen for the arrival of his aunt Marge when the doorbell rang. "Boy, go get the door!" Petunia orders him.
Harry turned off the stove and wipe his hands on his clothes. "Yes, Aunt Petunia." He walks to the door and opens it to be only handed over an umbrella by his Aunt Marge as she talks to Vernon.
"Better not ruin this boy," Vernon warns him joining his sister in the living room with the rest of his family.
"Yes Uncle," Harry responded placing the umbrella in the holder making his way to the dining room to set up for dinner.
"Oh, you're still here?" Marge asked sneering at him.
"Yes," he grumbles placing the plates on the table for them.
"Don't yes me-AH MY DUDDERS!" She diverges her attention to his cousin smooching his face as he continues to watch the television making Harry gag from the inside.
During dinner, Harry was cleaning the dishes watching his relatives dine in the food he made just for them. He saw Marge took a sip from her wine then gives it to her dog Ripper. He was disgusted as Ripper slurps the wine she just drank.
Marge gave him a cold stare "What?" she barked.
"Nothing, nothing at all." He said going back to his work. After a while of talking, Marge said something that offended him.
"So from what you told me, Vernon, that the boy was abandon here by his parents because he was a waste of space?" Marge said.
"Yes, you are correct, Marge," Vernon said drinking his wine.
"No wonder, they've dumped him here to make you suffer right?" she said drinking the same glass that she shared with her dog. "I can see the reason why they abandon him. Just look at him. Not attractive, intelligent, and worse of all selfish." She said making his Aunt and Uncle agreed.
Harry had just enough as he threw the plates down on the floor making them turn to him. He stormed off and grab his suitcase from his room.
He grabs his suitcase ready to leave this place before Vernon grab his arm and turns him around. "What the fuck! What are doing boy?" he shouts.
"I'm leaving," Harry said trying to get free from his uncle's grip.
"No you don't, you belong to us we fed you, give a roof under your head, bathe you, and-" Vernon was interrupted by a punch in the face from Harry.
Harry was unaware that his magic circuits activate gibing an extra boost in his punch. He storms off from the small as Vernon struggles to get up. "GET BACK HERE!" He demanded.
"FUCK YOU!" he said flipping him off leaving this place forever.
Harry arrived at the Leaky Cauldron where he meets Tom who was cleaning the counter. Tom looks up at the young man waiting for him to say something."Diagon Alley," he said to the barkeep.
Tom nodded as he opens the back door. Tom enters the code for Harry to enter the Wizarding World.
the walls opened revealing a secret world outside the modern world. Harry enters the Diagon Alley passing wizards who paid no attention to him. He saw Gringotts bank and made his way there. Harry remembers clearly that his parents took him here once when creating his savings vault.
Harry was planning to transfer all of his savings from the Potters vault to a private account.
Ripclaw the Potters manager looks at the boy and smiles. "Harry, good to see you." The goblin said with open arms. "It's been fourteen years."
"Good to see you Ripclaw," Harry said.
Ripclaw blinks. "I have no idea you remember me, you were young back then," he said looking at the boy. "And look at you now. I feel bad for you, the Potters giving you up for Charles. I was devasted when they did that."
Harry gave him a sad look. "Ripclaw, can we just skip all that? I have something important to do here."
"Of course, Mr. Potter what is it you need?" Ripclaw asked.
"I need to transfer money to..." Harry explains to the goblin about the transfer.
Ripclaw nodded. "We can do that, but first we need to check your inheritance before we do any of that," he said.
"Sure," Harry responded.
Ripclaw leads him to a private room where he gave Harry his inheritance for them to look at. Ripclaw blinks at the words on the parchment. "A Magus," he looks at Harry. "You're a Magus, Mr. Potter."
"A Magus? What's a Magus?" Harry asked.
"A Magus is similar to wizards yet different. Magus is considered as cruel beings, they evolved with the times to improve their magic known as Magecraft." Ripclaw explains.
"Magecraft? What is it?"
"I can summarize it for you since Mages has different types of Magecraft they practice." The goblin said. "Mages use science to develop their Magecraft, they do not share their findings with others only with their family. You Mr. Potter are one of these families."
Harry looked at the parchment and was surprised that his family was a magus family dating back to his great grandfather. "I can't believe this, does my family knows?" he looks at the goblin.
Ripclaw shook his head. "No, it seems the Potter line ended with your grandfather, Charles Potter, and did not pass on the family crest."
"Family crest huh," Harry said.
"Charles did hand over a glass case with the cress to us for safekeeping," Ripclaw said.
Harry looks at the goblin with shocked eyes. "Really?"
"Yes, and since it's written in your inheritance that you're his heir then it's yours by birthright," Ripclaw said. "Allow me to fetch it for you," He walks off to the Potter vault to retrieve the case that held the Potter crest.
"A Magus," Harry said before chuckling lightly. "I like the sound of that."
Ripclaw returned with the crest in hand and perform the transfer ritual that was on the letter attached to the case.
Harry did not feel any different after the ritual was complete. "I still feel the same, was something supposed to happen?" he asked Ripclaw.
"Sadly I do not, we have no idea how transferring a family crest works or the feedback. The Magus that the Goblin Kingdom was friends with did not share any details about how a Magus would feel after the ritual was performed," he said.
Harry nodded. "Gotcha, can we move on to the account transfer?" Harry asked.
"As you wish," Ripclaw said as he went to it. "While I do that I took the liberty to retain some books about Mages, though little is known just the basics."
After the transfer is complete and inheritance is checked Harry went on asking the Potter's account manager about Mages. "Ripclaw, I read the books about how there are specific areas that they live in due to ley lines, is there any preference on where I should practice this art?"
Ripclaw though for a moment seeing the Goblins have some knowledge on the Mages since the age of gods. "Well, the Clocktower since only a magus knows where it is, due to your family's short history of the subject the location is lost. I do happen to know where Mages also practice magecraft. In the country, Japan there's a town called Fuyuki."
"Magus families gather there for a secret ritual that even the Goblins have little knowledge of. I suggest you go there, you might find a Magus who can teach you your family's craft. If I'm not mistaken Charles Potter has a nack with gems and often store some in the Potter vault." He said to the young man.
"Alright, though if I am going to Fuyuki Japan I need a name to fit in. Do you have a list of Japanese names I can use?" he asked the goblin.
Ripclaw nods. "Allow me to show you where we keep the name list of every country." The goblin leads him to another private room where he took out a book filled with Japanese names. Harry looked at the book and settles for Ritsuka Fujimaru liking the sound of the name
Once his name changed, Ripclaw gave him a potion so he can talk Japanese once he arrived there. "Before you go Mr. Potter take a pouch of gems just in case you need it," he said handing over a brown pouch with multicolored gems.
Ritsuka smiles. "Thank you for your help, Ripclaw. I do hope we meet again in the future." He then left Gringotts leaving the goblin.
"Take care, Mr. Fujimaru," Ripclaw said before returning to his desk.
Ritsuka was in an international airport and bought some tickets to Japan and got on a plane right away. He used the gems he got from Ripclaw to exchange for yen for the currency in his new home though he needed a job to earn some more for the near future.
Three Months Later
Three months living in Fuyuki he bought an apartment with a manageable payment each month. It took him at least four weeks now Ritsuka was accustomed to the culture and the time zone. One day an old man working in a pawnshop stopped him on the way back home from his shift at work. "Young man, you look like a type of person who enjoys a good book," he said.
Ritsuka looks at the old man in his way. "I do enjoy a good book. Might I why you ask me, sir?" Ritsuka asked.
"Ohoho, I had a feeling when you are passing my stop daily." The old man said. He took out an ancient-looking book from his back and handed it to Ritsuka. "Here,"
Ritsuka holds out his hands to him. "Oh no, I couldn't sir. I do not have to money for-"
"Just take it, it's on the house." The old man smiles.
He read the title of the book. 'Thaumaturgy,' he read. "Are you sure? This might catch a hefty price." Ritsuka asked
"Yes, now run along enjoy the book," he said to the Magus.
"Thank you, Sir." Ritsuka inclines his head in respect to him before heading home.
The old man smiles as Ritsuka was at a good distance away from the store. He opens his crimson eyes, "Study well my new apprentice, for your destiny awaits." he walks back into the store awaiting the perfect time to make a move on him.
Ritsuka read the book about Thaumaturgy and the basics of Magecraft as he tries to get a full understanding of the art.
After a week of reading the book he fully understands the concepts of magic circuits, "So there's a special organ that Mages possess to perform Magecraft. Interesting" he read.
he looks at his arms and mentally activated his causing his circuits to overflow throughout his body. "ACK!" he yelps in pain feeling the mana within him.
The surge of mana altering his appearance a bit by turning his eyes from an emerald color to a sapphire. He fell unconscious on the floor until the next morning.
The next day his alarm woke him up. Ritsuka stirs in his sleep as his hand is trying to find the alarm clock, "Damnit, where is it." he gruffly said as he found the noisy thing. He slams it to turn off as he got up from the floor.
"Ugh, what happened." He said rubbing his head. He walks to the bathroom to wash his face, he grabs a towel to dry off before looking at the mirror. He blinks at his reflection seeing himself without his glasses. His vision is now twenty-twenty seeing everything clearly now. "W-Wow," he looks down at his glasses picking them up.
"Looks like I don't need these anymore," he said placing them in his pocket. He looks back at himself in the mirror only to get closer to his reflection. "Blue eyes?" He said noticing the change in color.
He steps back before feeling a slight pain in his arm. "Damnit, what is..." He trails off noticing the Potter Crest glowing. He then remembered reading that some cases that a Magus will experience some change in their bodies due to an overload of mana in their bodies. "I guess this is a natural phenomenon to Mages then."
Ritsuka just went with it and got ready to work in the convent store running the counter for the past months. The pay was good for a part-time job, but he struggles a bit making ends meet. His manager didn't notice the change in him and went on like any ordinary day at the store.
His shift ended as he leaves the store. "See you tomorrow," Ritsuka waved at his manger.
Ritsuka was heading home from work when an old man with red eyes leans over a lampost almost like he was waiting for him. Ritsuka decides to ignore him walking pass him before he spoke.
"Excuse me, young man. I can't help but it seems that you need a job with a better pay rate." The strange old man said to him.
Ritsuka looks at him. "How did you know?" he was wary of him. Ritsuka was ready to defend himself after taking some self-defense lessons for six weeks a month before plus just learned to reinforce his limbs with his circuits from the book.
The old man looks at him with a satisfied smile. "It seems you've been reading the book I gave you,"
Ritsuka pause for a moment before an image of the old man appeared over the stranger in his head. "You, your that old man that gave me that book," he said to him.
The old man got off the lampost and face him. "That's right, now about the job offer I've offered you," he said changing the subject quickly.
"Why did you lend me that book? And why you're offering me a new job all of a sudden?" Ritsuka asked him.
"All in due time, young man." He said joking before handing him a flyer.
"A friend of mine needs one more person for a special kind of job. He asked me to look for someone who has potential." Ritsuka took the flyer and read it carefully.
Chaldea Security Organization

"(The flyer looks suspicious but the pay is good.)" Ritsuka whispers to himself. He looks at the old man as he was waiting for his response.
"Sounds interesting, yet suspicious." He said to him as the old man smiles. "Is there a reason why you chose me for your friend?"
The old man took something out of his coat. "Here you need this, the uniform." He handed Ritsuka the Chaldean uniform in his arms inside a bag.
Ritsuka looks down the bag before the old man left. "Wait! You didn't give me a reason why you're offering me this job!" he yelled as he was farther away.
Before Ritsuka couldn't see him he shouts one more time. "At least you can tell me your name, sir." He said to the mysterious man, he turns to face Ritsuka.
"Zelretch, my name is Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg. Don't worry we'll meet again soon in the future Mr. Fujimaru," Zelratch said disappearing in a blink of an eye.
Ritsuka looks at the flyer again as he rereads the information as he made his way back to his apartment. "Well the pay is good, I guess it won't hurt if I go check it out tomorrow."
The next day he went to the location specified on the flyer where a woman wearing the female staff uniform waits for the final master candidate to arrive. "Welcome to the Japanese Branch Mr. Fujimaru, please wait in this coffin for teleportation." She said directing him to the futuristic cylinder, by that moment his life will change forever.
