AN; If you wondering why I use Archer of Inferno and the other names like that, it's because there like code names that Ritsuka uses when they're out on the field in modern times. The other reason is that I like the titles. Anyways enjoy the chapter.
Ch 3 United Nations
Ritsuka looks in the mirror fixing his tie on the Royal Brand Mystic Code, he was set on meeting with the United Nations Representatives to attend the trial of the two Crypters, Kadoc Zemlupus and Scandinavia Peperoncino.
The former director Goldolf Musik decided to hand the position to him saying that it was stressful for the likes of him. The director of the Mage's Association Lorelei Barthomeloi also known as the Queen of the Clocktower fully supports the shift in position. He remembers it as clear as day when they just returned.
Flashback
The Shadow Border has returned from the battle with the Foreign God that caused the Lostbelts. They were back in Antarctica where the Mage's Association's enforcers and UN soldiers awaiting their arrival. Everyone got off the advance vehicle with two of the former Crypters Kadoc Zemlupus and Scandinavia Peperoncino in handcuffs escorted by Ritsuka's Servants as they handed them over to the enforcers.
Ritsuka sighs preparing to gaze upon his former home but was a shock to see the reconstruction of Chaldea taking place.
"What's going on?" Mashu asked seeing the place under construction.
Ritsuka felt a hand over his shoulder as he turns to see Goldolf singling him to follow him back to the Shadow Border. Ritsuka looks at Mashu who had a worried look on her face. "Don't worry Mashu." He comforts her with a smile. "I'm sure it's all right." He said as he follows the director on board.
Onboard he saw the Queen of the Clocktower sitting on the commander's chair waiting for the two mages.
"Mr. Fujimaru glad you can join us." She said as Goldolf shuts the door for privacy. "I'm sure you know who I am correct?" she asked Humanity's final master.
"Yes, Mentor told me who you are. You're Lorelei Barthomeloi the director of the Mage's Association better known as The Queen of the Clocktower." Ritsuka responded.
"Mentor?"
Goldolf coughs. "His mentor is none other than Zelretch, director Barthomeloi."
"Oh? So that Dead Apostle is also involved with this?" Lorelei asked as the heir of the Musik Family confirming it with a nod. "Well then, you must learn a lot form the Kaleidoscope. Now back to why I'm here for."
Ritsuka puts on a brave and serious face waiting what the Queen of the Clocktower has to say.
Lorelei stood up from the chair "Ritsuka Fujimaru, on the behalf of the Mage's Association and all of Humanity we thank you." She inclines her head thanking him along with Goldolf.
Ritsuka blinks at her inclining her head to him. "I was not expecting this." He admits.
"Surely you should, you risked your life to restore the human order. You should be proud." Goldolf said to the young mage.
"T-T-Thank you, but I did not do this alone." He said. "My Servants and the remaining staff should share the credit."
"Them as well, I believe a reward should be given to you. Don't you agree Goldolf?" Lorelei looks at the Magus as he puffs out his chest.
"Yes, seeing how stressful being the director is for me. I will pass the position to you Mr. Fujimaru," Goldolf said as Ritsuka's eyes widen.
"What!?" Ritsuka said shocked from the news.
"Yes and as the new director and sole member of your lineage, I grant you Lordship within the Clocktower." Lorelei continues.
"As for me, I gladly have taken up of being Chaldea's Representative within the Clocktower," Goldolf added. "Is that all director Barthomeloi?" he asked the director receiving aa nod from her.
Goldolf looks at Ritsuka "So, how do you like your reward Mr. Fujimaru?"
Ritsuka was unable to process what transpired in his mind. Being the director of Chaldea, and granted lordship within the Clocktower. He felt he was not up to the task. "Why me?" he asked the two Mages.
Lorelei smiles as she took out a letter from her pocket. "This is a letter sent by the late acting director Romani Archaman." She opens the letter and begins to read it.
"Dear Director Barthomeloi,
I am writing to you because I know that I will not have any future from now on, I do have a request for your power as the director of the Mage's Association. The forty-eighth master candidate that the late director Olga Marie Animusphere had used as a fill-in slot is our last master due to an accident that I am sure Tech Advisor Leonardo Da Vinci has already sent to you in the future. I digress the forty-eighth master candidate, Ritsuka Fujimaru or Harry Potter has shown leadership on the Grand Orders that are worth looking in to. My request is that send someone to be the director of Chaldea that is old enough to lead the organization until Ritsuka is of age to inherit Chaldea. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Romani Archaman"
Lorelei placed down the letter on her lap looking at the master. "As you can see, the reason Goldolf was the director was to observe you. I was unsure if I can trust you enough to inherit this organization. From what Goldolf reported about you in the field, I will grant the wishes of Romani Archaman. Congratulations, Ritsuka Fujimaru." she said to the eighteen-year-old.
Ritsuka teared up that the doctor thought highly of him, but one thing stuck his mind. "How did he even know my original name?"
"We have agents in the Wizarding World just in case if any decide to overrun the mundane. We now have a relation with the Goblins Kingdom from our spies. Any record will be sent to the data banks within the Mage's Association's files." She explains to him, nodding understanding how they got the name.
"So what now?"
"Now? Well, tomorrow you will present yourself to the UN for the trial of the Crypters. Even though you only have two, with one being your servant, one escape captivity, and three currently dead. You still have to present yourself." The heir of the Barthomeloi family said.
Ritsuka nodded. "Understood." Lorelei nodded and dismissed him.
End of Flashback
Since then Chaldea was almost finished with the reconstruction. The Chaldeans were giving hotel rooms until the place was fully completed. Ritsuka sighs at the paperwork he now has since he became director of Chaldea.
He also needs someone to represent Chaldea in the future, seeing he has someone in mind he went over to the middle of the room and drew a summoning circle. "I do hope this will work."
He took out thirty saint quartz that he has with him for emergency placing them in the briefcase with the Spirit Origins. Ritsuka chants the summoning ritual as his command seals glowed. The saint quartz dissolves into the graph then room soon was enveloped in the light as the ritual was coming to an end.
Ritsuka opens his eyes to see smoke covering his room as a figure of a woman stood in the summoning circle. "Senpai?" He turns his head to his door where Mashu was calling his name. He rushes over to the door letting his kouhai in.
"Senpai, we detected a large amount of magical energy in your room…" Mashu look to see the figure as the smoke cleared away revealing someone that she would never think of seeing.
The Servant looks around searching for the master who summoned her. There she made out a figure of a boy and a girl though those figures look familiar to her. She shrugs it off seeing there is no way he would summon her. "Servant Alter Ego, I have responded to your summons…oh no." once the fog cleared the figures came clearer to her.
There stood Humanity's final master and his Demi-Servant in front of her. Her eyes with fear of the person who she was trying to kill back in the Lostbelts. "I-I…uh," she was unable to speak.
"Senpai, it's…it's-"Mashu stammers as Ritsuka places his hand on her shoulder giving her an ensuing smile.
"Don't worry. Mashu."
Ritsuka walks up to the Alter Ego offering his hand to her. "Nice to meet you Koyanskaya or should I say Tamamo-no-Mae." He smiled.
"Why…why did you summoned me? After what I have don to you. Why?" She said not understanding why this human would summon her after the atrocities she did. Then his words inspired her.
"Because you deserve a second chance. After what the Foreign God did to you, I felt bad for you. Though it's not how regular magus would act I'm different from them." Ritsuka chuckles. He lends his hand once more to the former enemy of Chaldea. "So, how would you like to join Chaldea, Koyanskaya?"
Mashu watch as her Senpai being kind to the woman who destroyed their home. But when the Foreign God abandons her, she did too felt pity for the Alter Ego.
Koyanskaya wipes a tear away never in her life would someone forgive her that easily. She took a deep breath and kneel before him. "I Alter Ego, true name Tamamo-no-Mae swear my loyalty to you, my master." She said as Ritsuka lifts her making her stand.
"You don't need to be formal with me. Call me Ritsuka or if your still uncomfortable Fujimaru would be fine." He said.
"O-Of course mast-I mean Fujimaru." The new servant said still nervous.
Mashu walks up to them and inclines her head in respect at the new ally. "Hello Koyanskaya-san, it's nice to properly meet you." She said as Fou got on her shoulder "Fou!"
Koyanskaya nodded. "I'mm looking foward to working with you, Mashu." she greeted her properly as a fellow Chaldean before Ritsuka asked her of something.
"Koyanskaya I have a favor to ask of you," Ritsuka asked her.
"Mmm? What is it Fujimaru?"
United Nations May 31, 2021
Goldolf was sweating like a pig in the summer sun. Both Ritsuka and Mashu have not shown up this morning in the lobby. They are running late and the assembly will start for the trial of the Crypters in a few moments. "Where are they? What could have happened to cause their lateness." He said to himself.
"Don't be so impatient Goldolf. I'm sure they have a good reason for being late." The Advisor of Chaldea or Sherlock Holmes overheard him.
"Even so! If they keep on being late it'll make them look bad Hol-Ruler." Goldolf said to the Ruler servant as he laughs making the magus frustrated.
"Goldolf!"
The Musik heir looks to see Ritsuka and Mashu walking in the building as he relaxed a bit before he saw the new addition. "YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" Goldolf exclaims pointing his finger at the Alter Ego. "Mr. Fujimaru summon your servants to defeat her!"
"Goldolf, it's fine she's on our side now," Ritsuka explains to the former director.
"I don't like it. Not one bit. What if she decides to betray us again?" Goldolf stated.
Koyanskaya looks down in shame as Ritsuka defended her. "It doesn't matter what she's done, it's all in the past. Koyanskaya is willing to assist us from now on. Seeing that she made a contract with me all is okay." Ritsuka said to him.
Goldolf looks like he wants to say something to the conversation, but Holmes beat him to it. "It seems that master is at it again. Charming the enemy with his what word did Merlin say…Ah! Harem EX or something like that." He jokes as Goldolf gritted his teeth.
"Come now Goldolf, think of it as an advantage. Since we don't know that much of the Foreign God it would be our best interest to use Koyanskaya in this matter." Holmes said to the Magus.
"Yes, I do have some information about them. but it's limited." Koyanskaya said.
Goldolf thought for a while before answering, "Very well, if you have noteworthy information then it would be wise to bring you in, Koyanskaya." He huffed.
"Thank you for trusting me." The Alter Ego inclines her head.
"In any case, the assembly has gathered already in the hall for the trial. I will be seeing you there soon." Goldolf said as he and Holmes left to join in the assembly room.
"Let's go, Mashu." He said to his Kohai.
"Hai!"
The Secretary-General stood before the UN assembly. Peperoncino and Kadoc were in the middle handcuffed and closely guarded by soldiers and enforcers from the Mage's Association. "Now that everybody is settled let's get the trail of the Crypters started." He said as the assembly room was quiet.
"We have gathered here today to give judgment on the group known as the Crypters for almost succeeding in destroying proper human history. Let's review the claims that were reported by the Chaldea Security Organization."
Each of the reports and records of the Lostbelts was looked at and reviewed carefully by each nation's representatives of what happened during the event. Once they went through each one thoroughly the assembly made its verdict on the two Crypters. "Seeing on how these two are the remaining members of the group and the hard evidence we have; we members of the United Nation hereby declare Kadoc Zemlupus and Scandinavia Peperoncino guilty of all charges." The Secretary-General announces to the assembly.
Both Peperoncino and Kadoc knew that they were guilty on the first degree when they were defeated by Ritsuka and admits it after the battle with the Foreign God. Both regretted one thing, and that thing is that they never got the chance to spend time with Ritsuka.
The young Magus spent time getting to know both Crypters when they were being held on the Shadow Border even though it was short. They prepared for whatever punishment they will receive by the UN has to offer.
"If all said and done. Kadoc and Peperoncino I hereby sentence you two to-"
"Wait!" A voice interrupts the Secretary-General. Everyone turns their head to the person who interrupts him.
Ritsuka walks up to the stage with Mashu and Koyansakya by his side as he made his way to the stand. "Mr. Fujimaru what is the meaning of this?" He asked the young man.
"Secretary-General if I may, I have the appropriate punishment for Kadoc Zemlupus and Scandinavia Peperoncino." He said as whispers arose in the assembly.
Kadoc look at Peperoncino confused about what Ritsuka is doing. "Do you have any idea on what he is doing Pepe?"
"No clue hun," Peperoncino said as he gazes upon his former enemy.
"What do you have to offer Mr. Fujimaru?"
Ritsuka took the stage as the Secretary-General move aside to let him speak. "People of the assembly, I believe in second chances to anyone who deserves it. These two deserve a second chance, both felt like they were forgotten by the world they have sworn to protect. Causing them to join the enemy who threatens the world they swore to save."
Everyone was intrigued by what the final master was saying as they listen in on what he is saying. "These two have been through trauma that some people won't understand. For me, I am one of those people and took pity on them. Though that does not excuse what they have done to Human History. As their punishment, I will have them work for me when Chaldea is finished with it's reconstruction." Everyone was surprised at what he said this includes Kadoc and Peperoncino.
"I know this is much. Trust me when I say as the director of Chaldea, I swear to have them repent for their actions by assisting me in preserving humanity's future." Ritsuka finished. Applause was given for Ritsuka speech that was moving and inspirational to the assembly.
Kadoc and Peperoncino were now grateful for Ritsuka giving them a second chance.
The Secretary-General took the stand once more "All those in favor of Mr. Fujimaru's punishment for the Crypters?"
"Aye!" everyone in the assembly said.
"All oppose?" None responded.
"Then, as Secretary-General of the UN I release these two in your custody Mr. Fujimaru," he said to the young man as enforcers and soldiers remove their handcuffs. Both were escorted to a separate room by the enforcers and soldiers guarding then.
"Thank you, Secretary-General. Also, I have a request." Ritsuka asked of him.
"And what's that?"
Ritsuka singles Koyanskaya to come over to him. "This is Koyanskaya, my Servant." The Alter Ego inclineing her head to him. "Seeing that Chaldea is funded by the UN; I believe having a representative within the assembly would be beneficial for both the UN and Chaldea. Don't you agree Secretary-General?" he said to the man.
"I do agree Mr. Fujimaru," he said as he held out his hand to the Alter Ego. "A pleasure to meet your acquaintance Koyanskaya. Glad to have you on the assembly."
"Likewise, Secretary-General." She shook his hand.
"Well that settles things, I have to speak with my new employees. Goodbye Secretary-General." He waved at him as Mashu and Koyanskaya follow him to speak with the two former Crypters.
"Goodbye, Mr. Fujimaru," he responded.
