Firstly, hello! I appreciate those who cared enough to click on this years-old story to see my notice. And for those who are new, a "nice to meet you" is in order.
Now, to why you all clicked on this.
For a while now I've been thinking about picking writing back up as a passtime; it's been a nagging feeling, especially when friends of mine write and share their ideas, and I look at some stories I used to write and think, "wow… I do not like this."
These gripes are mainly tailored to two stories: Infinite Possibilities and Tales of Azure, but mainly the first, as it stores more than 30 chapters and is just… a mess. I genuinely want them completed, fleshed out, and be something not only fans of the series can read and enjoy, but myself to look back on and nod and say, "damn, I think I did good." The way they are now, I cannot.
That's why, I plan to completely revamp them.
Tales of Azure won't be touched too hard (as of now), but Infinite Possibilities will most certainly see its fair share of changes. I'm just not happy with how I've written things, and it really does read like a terrible mesh of Blazblue events and whatnot.
One thing I want to make clear is that neither story will be deleted; they will remain up in case people, who still enjoyed whatever was written of their original iterations, can read them without issue. However, they will not be continued in their current states. This is something I sat on for a while, and after reading them over again, revamping those stories is the conclusion I've reached.
I'm not… entirely sure when the beginning of these revamped stories will happen. With college still on-going, I want to try and plot things out once all my coursework and finals are completed and I safely have enough free time to appropriately storyboard and plot road maps for each. The premises will be the same though. On-going stories like Melancholy and Imperial Code will not be touched, and I plan to finish those, too.
Anyway, I believe… that's all I had to say. Who knows, maybe nobody cares about these stories anymore since it's been so long - I wouldn't fault anyone, but it's something I wish to complete and hope there are still some people out there who will read.
