Ch 9 The Chaldean British Outpost

Two days had since the Chaldean representatives for Harry Potter had arrived and the wizard is still wary of them, minus a few. Dumbledore has given them a room in the dungeons, so they have a place to stay in for as long as they're here. To the wizards, the work they were doing is strange, such as research and writing reports on a metal slab that Holmes was always carrying.

Holmes was in the library doing some research on Hogwarts and the surrounding areas around the school. He sat down at a desk near the window and took out a pen, he took some paper writing quick notes on the information from the books he has with him. Before he could write anything, he sighs and throws away the pen to a corner,

It broke spilling out invisible ink on the floor, he took out his own from his coat pocket and preceding to write. "Nice try boys, I know every prank from the book even I had a chance of reading wizard pranks." He said to nobody.

Holmes got up from his chair and pulled an invisibility cloak revealing Charles and Ron with shocked eyes. "H-How did you know we're here!?" Charles asked the Ruler.

Holmes smiles at his master's twin brother. "Back at Chaldea I'm known for my investigation as a detective before joining them," he enlightened them. "The shadow on the bookshelf looks lumpy, since anything is possible in the wizarding world then my conclusion that you have an invisibility cloak in your possession."

Ron was gobsmacked at the muggle's deduction to figure something like that out.

Charles gritted his teeth that this muggle can figure something like that. He grabs his invisibility cloak and sneers at the detective. " Damn you!" he cursed at him. Both he and Ron ran out of the library.

"Well, that was interesting," Holmes said before returning to his work. When he was about to sit back down he heard a voice on the other side of the bookshelf. Curiosity got the better of him and walk to the other side.

"Chaldea…Chaldea…Chaldea, I know I heard it before," Hermione said turning each book's pages trying to find any mention of the name. After the fifth book, she found a definition of the word.

"A country that existed in the ninth century and middle sixth century…." She continues reading the definition.

"The Chaldea Security Organization isn't a county that the book speaks of." The voice spooked the bushy-haired girl, she drops the book on the floor as her eyes laid on Ruler.

"Mr. Ruler, what are you doing here?" Hermione asked the Servant.

"I was just researching my master about the area around Hogwarts," The detective answered.

"Research? Why's that?"

"Oh, it's he just wants to know what Hogwarts's terrain." Holmes said with a smile, "He's learning geographic maps of areas from our people."

"Oh? He is into that kind of stuff?" Hermione asked, shocked that he was into that stuff. "I never expected that from Charles's brother. From my perspective the Potter males like wizard sports, like Quidditch?"

Holmes chuckles " Well Fujimaru does have personal trainers both in Magecraft and physically. But he sometimes acts like a child to lighten the mood at times." He said remembering Shinjuku.

"I do remember Reines saying that he's a carefree and kindhearted person," Hermione said picking up the book from the floor.

"That he is Ms. Granger," Holmes smiles.

Hermione smiles too, "So how do you guys meet? From the looks of it, you have known him for a long time." She asked the detective.

"I think I should leave it off there for today." The Ruler said to her.

"But-"

Holmes turns around to face her once more, "And Ms. Granger, try not to pry into things that may cause your safety." He said, walking back to the desk to finish his work.

Hermione blink at those words that were said to her. 'What does that mean?' she thought as she went to check out the book. She walks past the Ruler writing down something on a notepad.

The Gryffindor walks out of the Library thinking about what he just said before. She turns on a corner of the hall, bumping into someone. She looks up to see Trimamu standing in front of a door and seems to be guarding it. "Uh excuse me uh…Trimamu but why are you standing there?" Hermione asked the golem. She remains silent as the Gryffindor girl looks at her curiously.

"Okay…" Hermione trailed off feeling the awkward moment, the Golem moves out of the way when the door opens to let someone through.

"Thank you for guarding Trimamu," Reines said to her creation.

"Yes," Trimamu replied.

"Uh, Reines?" Hermione asked the blond girl.

Reines looks at her and puts a smile on her face. "Ah Hermione, I didn't see you there." She said.

"Reines? What were you doing in that vacant room?" Hermione asked suspiciously of her actions.

"Oh, I'm just looking around." The Rider replied with a smile. "This place is old and master is interested in those kinds of stuff."

"Okay, are you going to join us for lunch?" Hermione asked the servant.

"Mmmm, sorry can't. I have to write reports to my master." Reines apologies before walking away, waving at her. "Maybe later." She said to the bushy-haired girl.

Hermione looks at her as Trimamu walks beside her closely. She shrugs it off as she went off to the Great Hall to meet with her other friends.

Reines stops in the middle of the hall and closes her eyes. "I haven't found anything out of the ordinary here yet." She reported. "Did you have any luck?"

Gilgamesh materializes leaning on a column on the wall. " No, I haven't. I even went to the area they call 'the forbidden corridor' that I heard from the little mongrels." He said sneering at the thought of being near them.

"I see…keep on looking. And keep an eye out for Hermione she has been doing her investigation about us." Reines warns the King of Heroes.

Gilgamesh chuckles as Reines looks at him. "That mongrel will be involved with us shortly, so I highly doubt that she's any trouble." He smirks

"So which side? Ours or theirs" Reines asked the Caster.

"Best to see what up ahead yourself, Rider." He said walking away from the Pseudo-servant. She smiles walking to the opposite side of him.

London

Ritsuka packed his suitcase exiting his room. He walks down the hall and saw Mashu closing her hotel room with her suitcase in her hand. "Mashu, are you all set?" he asked his assistant.

Mashu turns around surprised by his sudden appearance, "Hai! I'm all packed and ready to go Senpai." She replied.

"That's good, shall we?" Ritsuka asked her.

"Y-Yes," Mashu replied walking to the elevator together. Once in front of the doors, Ritsuka presses the button. The doors open, both of them went inside and soon down to the lobby.

Once there they were greeted by a few people his servants and a black hair woman dressed in traditional Japanese robes.

Ritsuka looks over to Waver avoiding eye contact with her, she chuckles before inclining her head to him. She notices him and made her way over.

"Lord Fujimaru, it's an honor of meeting Humanity's Final master." She greeted him. "I'm sure you heard of me from Lord El-Melloi II about me of his time at the Clocktower." She said smiling at the former Lord.

Ritsuka nodded, "Yes I do, you're Hishiri Adashino an officer of the Department of Policies of the Clocktower." He said, "You serve to arrest or punish Magus who violates the exposure of mysticism. On occasion, if a wizard from the Wizarding World falls out of line and the Minister turns a blind eye your Department will take care of the rogue wizard."

"My, aren't you informational, Ms. Koyanskaya was right." Hishiri looks at the Alter Ego smiling at her.

"So what I can do for Polices?" Ritsuka asked the magus.

"The Queen of the Clocktower wants me to join you to the Wizarding World and evaluate the community if they are suited to governing themselves," Hishiri replied to his question.

"I see, did the minister request this?" Ritsuka asked the magus who smiles.

"Of course."

Ritsuka thought for a moment and look at his companions. Gray looks like she is fine with it, Waver looks nervous, and Koyanskaya was hitting it off with her. He then looks at Mashu who nodded. "Alright then, glad to have you along."

"It's a pleasure to join you." The Magus smiles at the last.

They left the lobby and head over to the parking lot where a black Subaru Ascent with the Chaldean symbol plaster on its side. "My aren't you rich Lord Fujimaru."

Waver pressed the car keys as it unlocks the Ascent, he heads over to the diver seat and Koyanskaya takes the passenger seat next to him. Mash and Gray went to the back seat while Hishiri and Ritsuka sat in the middle. Waver drove out of the parking lot as he enters the main road.

"So, Lord Fujimaru I heard that you inherited a mansion near Hogwarts," Hishiri said to start a conversation. "I take it that place belongs to your ancestor?"

Ritsuka places his phone inside his pocket and looks at the woman from Policies. "Yes, the Peverell Mansion was my ancestor's home before he died. From further investigation that it was a workshop from my grandfather."

"Oh? Does your father know of it?"

"About Magecraft?" Ritsuka questioned before laughing at the thought. "Of course not, I remember vaguely that my grandfather said that I am his heir and deserves the family's crest." He said.

"And do you have it?" Hishiri aked.

"The Potter Crest or Fujimaru Crest? See for yourself." His arm has magic circuits flowing around it as he mentally deactivates it.

"Ah, good for you," Hishiri said smiling.

After a while of driving, they were at the edge of the highway as Waver drove off of it onto the dirt road. For a good while, the driving on the dirt road was going smoothly until they were on a gravel road which made the ride bumpy.

Waver tried his best to make the car go smoothly as possible before he went over a pothole in the gravel road causing Koyanskaya to bump her head on the roof of the car.

She rubs her head then turns to the Caster. "Zhuge Liang, can you be a dear and DRIVE SMOOTHLY!" she screams at the Pseudo servant.

His eye twitched at Alter Ego's voice, annoying him. "Shut up you pink fox, I'm trying to drive here!" he shouts at her.

"I thought the wizards have at least smoother roads," Hishiri said clasping her head with her hands preventing her head to hit the roof, Mashu and Gray did the same thing too.

"Sir…" Gray said grabbing a bag ready to puke from the motion sickness.

'HAHAHA, Even you are now a servant Gray you sill have motion sickness' the little cube in a birdcage laugh.

"Add," Gray growls taking the cage punishing the cube being by shaking the cage as he screams.

After a while on the bumpy road, they arrived at a large gate where a man with blue hair and wearing purple Japanese clothing and a long katana behind his back. He looks at the upcoming Subaru Ascent as it stops right in front of him. He walks to the vehicle's driver seat as it rolled down the window. "Caster,"

"Hello Assassin, master is at the back of me." Waver eyed at the back seat,

Ritsuka rolls down the window and smiles at the Assassin. "Hello Kojirou, I see that you volunteer as the gatekeeper."

Kojirou places his hand on his chest inclining his head to him. "Yes I did master, the task is simple for me to do," he said remembering his job back in a Holy Grail War.

"I see, well keep up the good work," Ritsuka said as the Assassin went over and opened the gate to let the vehicle inside the premise.

The vehicle drove around the newly paved road and pulled up to the entrance of the mansion where a white-haired priest was waiting for them along with a black-haired woman with pointed ears.

The doors open to let the occupants out, Waver drove to the newly installed garage. "Welcome master to the Chaldea British Outpost." Amakusa inclines his head to his master.

"Amakusa, Semiramis, good to see you two." Ritsuka greeted the Ruler and Assassin. "How are things here?"

"Just see for yourself master." The Priest said leading him inside the mansion. The group enters the front door revealing the Chaldean staff was working nonstop setting equipment in the halls and the rooms they have brought.

"As you can see here master, things are going as scheduled and with the help of Tesla, the power will be on-" as the Assassin said it the lights turn on and the panels that were installed already went online. "Once he installed the new product from the Casters."

"Oh? And what product is that Assassin?" Hishiri asked the Queen of Assyria.

Amakusa turns to them, "I believe Ms. Da Vinci calls it-"

"Electrical Prisms! A combination of both Mana Prisms and Electric magecraft from our mages." Da Vinci said coming down the grand stairwell with Circe in tow.

"DA VINCI!" Both Mashu and Ritsuka exclaims.

The renaissance woman smiles hearing her name. "Ah, I do love hearing my name when someone says it."

"Uh…I'm here too." Circe waved to get their attention.

"Circe-san, I'm sorry but we weren't expecting Da Vinci here," Mashu apologies to the Queen of witches.

The Caster waved it off as if it's not a big deal. "No worries. I get it, to see the Chaldea's head of Technology Division instead of being back at Chaldea is quite a shock." She flutters over to them. "I have to set a Bounded Field around the premise with both Medeas. I will see you around." Circe walks out of the mansion.

"You got some interesting Servants Lord Fujimaru," Hishiri said walking off to find a vacant room. "I have to report to the Polices that I arrived. I will be joining dinner later." She said walking off.

"I see, so that's an enforcer of the Polices Department from the Association." Da Vinci said before turning to them, "Now then I will inform you about this place Fujimaru."

"Sure," Ritsuka smiles.

"Argh, a lecture." Koyanskaya groans walking off to the library. "I will be sorting these files, Gray would you help me?" she asked the Assassin.

"Hai!" Gray agreeing running off to join her.

"I'm going to check on the others in this place," Semiramis walks off checking the progress of the renovations.

"A shame, it's quite an interesting topic." Da Vinci said before looking back at them. "Now let me start what an Electrical Prism is, as I said before there a combination of electricity magecraft and Mana Prisms. With the Mages help, Circe's, and my efforts we found a way around the magic dampening properties of magic in the Wizarding World." She informs them,

"I see,"

"The teleporter will be in its testing phase so don't expect any Chaldean reinforcement for a while." The Caster jokes before continuing. "The newbie Archimedes and Edison are testing teleportation back at Chaldea and Tesla will be testing here along with my help." She smiles.

"Uh Da Vinci, it seems that I don't have any single from the Wi-Fi on my tablet," Mashu said, Da Vinci walks to her and examining it.

The inventor press a few buttons until the single pop up. "Ah, there we go, Tesla probably just installed it.

"Speak of the devil and he shall appear." They look at where the voice came from as Tesla came out of the basement along with Chaldean technicians.

"Good job Tesla," Ritsuka giving him a thumbs up.

"A pleasure as always, master." The Archer gracefully accepted the gratitude from his master.

"Master, shall I give you a tour?" Amakusa asked.

Ritsuka nodded at the request, he and Mashu were given a tour of the place by the former priest. As they were touring, they have met a lot of staff, electricians, mages, and programmers working to make the new outpost operational.

Ritsuka noticed there is a lot of his servants here. He has seen Mordred and Tomoe playing Fortnite on a flat-screen in the living room with Chole in the background cheering. In the kitchen Boudica, Tamamo-Cat, and Emyia cooking something for tonight's dinner.

There was a workshop where Avicebron and Paracelsus were working on a Homunculi and Golem creation for this place's security. Passing the window Ritsuka and Mashu saw Circe arguing with both Medeas on how to properly set up a Bounded Field. They pass the Library where Koyanskaya and Gray were organizing the files and folders.

In the corner, they saw Helena placing books brought from Chaldea to fill in the vacant shelves. On the other side was Atalante was reading to the children Servants listening to the Huntress, they were intrigued by the story.

Soon the tour was over and Amakusa showed them their rooms. Mashu went inside hers to get a feel of it before dinner.

Ritsuka was led to a room with double doors for an entrance. He looks at the Ruler with a confused look, "This is mine? Isn't it a bit much?"

Shirou shook his head. "Seeing this is the master bedroom, everyone agrees to give it to you since you are a master."

Ritsuka opens it and looks around the huge room. There was a King sizes bed in the middle a private bathroom and a huge closet. "I appreciate it." He said to the Ruler, he went off before reminding him of dinner.

Ritsuka flops down on the bed and looks up at the ceiling. "Soon…I will see them soon." He said groaning taking a quick nap still thinking of his family.
