AN; This is just a note for the story, the Beast is the last resort for Chaldea to use in case things get difficult for the Grand Servants to handle by themselves.
Ch 10 Ordinary Day
Two days have passed, and the Chaldea British Outpost was established. Today was the day that the first test of the teleporter. Ritsuka finished his daily morning exercises and went for a shower afterward. He got dressed in a tight short sleeve t-shirt and wore a white jacket, he puts on the communicator on his wrist and put on black boots.
He walks over to the nightstand next to his bed and put on Solomon's ring. Ritsuka stares at it on his finger and smiles sadly, "Doctor…" he sighs, shaping out of it the Magus walks out his room.
"No, the blue circuit goes with the red one." An electrician said to his coworker.
His co-worker disagrees with him. "No, it does not. It goes to the red one." He retorted back.
"How about the red one stuck in the corner?" Ritsuka asked behind both of them.
They turn their head to him, seeing his smile. "D-D-Director Fujimaru!" they exclaim shocked to see him bright and early. Ritsuka push them aside and connects the wires as he did so, the panel turns on.
"There a problem to solve." Ritsuka smiled, he got up to go exploring the mansion some more.
The two electricians look at each other before looking back at the director, disappearing when he turns the corner. "Man, I swear that kid got talent."
"I know, he's not only well versed in Magecraft and history. But he's also known his way to programming and wiring." He said impressed by his talents before they move on to the next task.
Ritsuka decides to go to the backyard to see what it's like, before he did he heard music coming from the ballroom that could easily please a crowd; before an off note ruined it then a loud crash. Soon some yelling came from the room, he decides to investigate and opens the doors to reveal music sheets and music stands flipped over.
"You measly idiot! Look what have you done!" The Caster said to his rival.
The silver-haired man chuckles at the blonde man. "Me? You're the one on the violin, you should be blaming yourself for that awful screeching you call music!" the Avenger yelled.
Ritsuka sighs as Fou ran up to him and climb to his shoulder. Ritsuka petted the small creature, "You heard them too Fou?" he asked.
"Fou! Fou!"
Ritsuka chuckles, he looks at the composers making his way over. "A year and two months trying to perfect this and yet you still don't know how to harmonize with me!" Mozart yelled pointing his bow at the Avenger.
"Don't point that bow at me!" Salieri growls ready for a fight.
"ENOUGH!" Ritsuka shouted, causing them to turn their heads to him.
"Master!" the Servants cried out in shock, laying their eyes on their master standing entering the ballroom.
"Master I can-"
"Here I thought you two have finished the Noble Phantasm you two were talking to me about and said it will be finished before I arrived. What happened?" Ritsuka said with a serious tone.
Mozart steps forward, placing his hand on his puffed-out chest. "Master, it's just the last part of the piece is quite difficult even servants have some difficulties." He explains."Combining magecraft and music is quite difficult to make. Even though I'm more experienced in the craft, this particular part is challenging." Salieri nodded seeing how vexing magecraft with music is.
"I see…continue to perfect this new Noble Phantasm," Ritsuka sighs before leaving the ballroom. "And try not to be at each other's throats," he smirks before leaving them to their work.
Ritsuka notices a big door that wasn't on the tour that Amakusa gave yesterday. He decided to take a look at what is on the other side. As he opens the door he was immediately by a huge pair of hands. Ritsuka chuckles as he was smother by a primordial goddess. "Mother, please." Ritsuka chuckles.
"LAAAAAA," Tiamat cried in joy smothering her youngest son.
A laugh came behind them as a dark green-haired man flew in between them. "Mother, Ritsuka is suffocating." He said to her.
The Beast realizes what she was doing to her youngest son and lets him down back on the ground gently letting out a music note.
"Thank you Kingu," Ritsuka said to the Lancer.
Kingu waved it off in annoyance. "I'm just looking out for myself, after all, if mother squished you then I would be returning to the throne of heroes if you die from her hugs." He said looking away.
Ritsuka smiles at Kingu's protectiveness towards him. "Yeah, yeah." He waves it off. Then something crossed his mind. "How did you and mother get here? The teleporter is untested."
"Well it's simple, mother can decrease her size, we took the supply truck that is coming here last night," Kingu explains to his little brother.
"Ah, now I know." Ritsuka understands now.
"LAAAAA!" Tiamat cried out.
Ritsuka looks at her and smiles. "I can't right now mother, I have to oversee the teleportation test." He explains. "Tonight I promise to watch that movie you wanted to see."
"LAAAA!" Tiamat cried out joyfully.
"She happy," Kingu said looking at the Beast of Regression smiling. "I will join you two tonight as well. Mother is quite intrigued in that movie about that movie…what was it called again."
"LAA"
"Right The Lady and the Tramp," Kingu snaps his finger, he looked his little brother who looks back at him. "W-W-What? If mother wants to see that children's movie with us then I have to oblige." He said blushing red.
Ritsuka nodded knowing that Kingu picked out that movie himself and showed it to Tiamat. "Riiiggghtt." He said walking out of the giant room, waving back at Beast II.
"I will see you tonight!" Ritsuka smiles at them.
"LAAA!" Tiamat waves back at her youngest son.
Ritsuka walks down the halls as he was greeted by his Servants and staff, making his way to the dining room for breakfast. Inside Mashu and Sieg were there serving pancakes from a tray cart that was in the kitchen when the team got here.
Mashu wipes her mouth with the napkin before turning around seeing Ritsuka by the door. "G-Good morning Senpai!" she greeted him.
"Morning Mashu,"
Sieg inclines his head to his master standing in front of him. "Good morning master, I have your breakfast ready for you." He said placing down his portion of pancakes on the table.
Ritsuka walks over to the chair and sat down. "Thank you, Sieg, this smells good." He said taking a bite out of it.
"Emyia was the one who made these." The Humonculus replied, pouring orange juice for him.
"I see," Ritsuka smiles.
"Oh, Senpai Ms. Adashino said she'll be in Hogsmede Village conducting her evaluation, so she won't be in for three days," Mashu informs him.
"Is she joining us to Hogwarts?" The Magus asked her.
Mashu nodded, "Yes, she'll return in the morning of the third day at Hogsmede where we'll meet her when we're bout to leave to the school."
"Alright," Ritsuka said finishing his breakfast. He got up letting Sieg collect the plates. "Shall we got to the Teleporter?" he asked his assistant.
"Hai!"
Both Mashu and Ritsuka walks to the middle of the staircase. Ritsuka pressed a button on the wall as it opens to a dark hallway. Both walk inside a blue-lit hallway heading straight downward. The room is similar to the command room but instead of Chaldeas in the center of the room there was another Papermoon instead, underneath is the Chaldea's logo. The console was similar to the one command room back home.
"Master," Tesla walks over to him and Mashu.
"Tesla, you been hard at work for this outpost, I'm proud," Ritsuka compliments the inventor as he sheepishly smiles.
"The credit shouldn't be just for me; it should be shared by everyone who is working diligently to make this outpost operational." The Archer said looking around him.
Ritsuka nodded walking to the commander's chair. "Let the test commence."
"All systems check." Da Vinci types on the holographic keyboard, the system is checking all programs.
"Mana conversion check, Electrical Prisms installed, generator check." A staff said as she did the final checks. The experimental teleporter was working exceptionally as the coffin glowed.
-ZZZ- INITIATE EXPERIMENTAL TELEPORTATION…ALL PROGRAMS CHECK…LOCATION SINGLE CONFIRMING FROM CHALDEA…ARRIVAL CONFIRM…WELCOME JINGLE ABEL MEUNIERE -ZZZ-
The coffin doors open to Meuniere walking out from the cylinder. "The experiment worked!" he cheered, the staff applauded for their successful experiment of the teleporter.
"That's good, now time to test if it works going back." Da Vinci said the screen monitors turn on to the new Caster. "Archimedes, are all programs check out on your side?" she asked the Caster.
-ZZZ- Yes, everything here checks out commencing retrieval. -ZZZ- Archmedes replied to the Head of the Technology Development Divison, Meuniere gets back inside the coffin.
-ZZZ- INITIATE TELEPORTATION…ALL PROGRAMS CHECKED…LOCATION SINGLE TRANSMITTED…DEPARTING COMFREIM. -ZZZ-
"Did retrieval work?" Ritsuka asked his Tech Advisor.
"Archimedes?" Da Vinci asked him.
-ZZZ- The retrieval is a success. Meuniere suffers no side effects. -ZZZ- Archimedes smiles once he saw Meuniere exiting the coffin.
Da Vinci smiles along with Tesla, "That's great, as the Head of the Technology Development Division of Chaldea, I happy to say that the experimental teleporter is now approved for use." She cheered.
"This is great Da Vinci and everyone now we can send for reinforcements if needed," Ritsuka said proudly of his staff.
"So Mashu, what's next to do here?" Ritsuka asked the former Demi-Servant.
"Nothing Senpai, after the final check the Chaldea British Outpost will be fully operational." Mashu shuts her tablet off. "You have two days to rest before going to Hogwarts," she said.
Ritsuka smiles at her and he sat back down on the chair relaxing before his appearance at Hogwarts.
Hogsmeade Village
James, Lily, Sirius, and Remus decide to go to Hogsmeade for a cup of butterbeer to relieve the anxiety of meeting Harry once again. They went to the Three Broomsticks as they used to when they were students. They went over to where they usually sit all the time and relaxed before.
"Just what I need, something to reveal the anxiety that I'm having," Sirius said leaning in on his chair.
"You said it Padfoot," James agrees as an odd-looking waitress came to their table.
"Welcome to the Three Broomsticks, my name is Mari and I will be your waitress." She asked the table.
They got a good look at the waitress, she has tan skin and a red flower in her brown hair. She wore a golden color dress that reveals her bust and orange sandals.
Remus and Sirius can't help but blush at the woman as she was waiting for them to order. James looked away when he felt Lily glaring at him.
Lily sighs facing her. "Yes, we'll have four butterbeer for all of us." She orders as she wrote it down in a notebook.
"Anything else?" Mari asked.
"(A room for me and you)" Sirius whispers to Remus before the werewolf nudges him for making such a joke.
Mari smiles, "I'm sorry but I can't right now as I do have a job here to keep." She said to the shaggy-haired man. "I will bring the butterbeer out soon." She said returning to the counter.
"She heard that?' Sirius exclaims making James and Remus chuckles at the poor man.
Lily sighs and places her hand on her forehead. "Men,"
"Tell me about it." A voice commented behind her.
Lily turns around to see who said that. A woman with black hair and violet eyes under glasses in a blue kimono sips her tea as she looks back at her.
"You have to deal with men sometimes?" Lily asked the woman.
"Oh yes, the men I work with are often like your three friends there." The woman points to the Marauders as their waitress came back with the beer.
"Really? Oh, my name is Lily Potter by the way," Lily introduces herself offering her hand.
The woman shook her hand with a smile. "A pleasure Lily, my name is Hishiri Adashino."
Lily raised an eyebrow at the foreign name, "You're a foreigner? From my guess of it, you came from Japan."
"Yes, I did,"
"Hey, Lily who are you talking to?" Her husband asked.
Lily turns around to her husband, "James this is Hishiri Adashino, Hishiri this is my husband James." she introduces her to him.
"Nice to meet you, James," Hishri greeted the Potter Head.
"Nice to meet you too, so you came from Japan for what exactly? James asked the strange woman.
"JAMES!" Lily scolds her husband for asking that kind of question.
"Forgive my friend here, he's always suspicious of new people," Remus butted in.
Hishiri waves it off, not offended. "No worries, I came here to report on the Tri-Wizard Tournament for the Japanese press for the minister," She lied.
"Ah never heard from the Japanese Ministry for a while, what happen to them after losing connection to the rest of the Wizard Community," Sirius asked the Magus.
"They won't tell the citizens, it's a private thing for the Minister." Hishiri lied again.
James nodded that their government would hide something from them. "I see, that leaves a lot of mystery on them some more. " Hishiri got from her table.
"In any case, I will be going, I'm still not use to the time zones here so I'm a bit off today," Hishiri said to them.
"Well it's nice to meet Hishiri, I hope to see you at the tournament," Lily smiles at her, the magus inclines her head to them.
"A pleasure of meeting you too, Lily and everyone else," Hishiri said her goodbyes and left the Three Broomsticks.
"She seems off," James said observing her leaving the tavern.
"James knocks it off, it's rude to stare." Lilyscolds him again. "I swear I feel like I'm raising you too." Remus and Sirius laugh which James smiles with embarrassment.
Hishri walks through Hogsmeade noticing there's a lot of poverty here and the Ministry is ignoring it. She saw a couple of what seems to be purebloods bulling what looks like a mundane girl. She ignores it taking a mental note about what she has seen,
Soon she walks past a hooded man. "(The Holy church will assist Chaldea on this mission and the Mage's Association will have our support.)" The Priest said.
"(Understood, The Mage's Association will be governing the wizarding world once everything is done and over with.)" Hishiri whispers to the priest.
"(Does the master of Chaldea know of this?)" he asked.
"(Fujimaru knows everything and fully supports it.)"
"(I see, until next time Magus.)" the priest treads further down the road and Hishiri walks back to the inn she was in.
