AN; I want to say that all of the servants that Ritsuka still has their memories with him from enemies to allies. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.
Ch 13 A New Ally
Ritsuka was walking around the halls of Hogwarts observing the school's students. The Servants he had sent here before his arrival has gone off to do some research on this place. Something in the school is giving him strange vibes, so he asked Holmes to investigate further.
He walks into the library seeing that it's one of his favorite places to go when he is off from his work. Galahad, Tristan, and Mashu were with him while the others went around the school patrolling for any threats that might pop up.
Ritsuka thought it was overkill, but they're persistent in it. He remembers when they were all summoned and swearing to protect him from anything.
Flashback
Ritsuka just got back from a material mission in the Camelot Singularity, gaining some more medals after it was done. He brought along Mordred and Mashu for their team-up compression were good like in London.
"Man, those soldiers are easy to beat, right Mashu?" Mordred grins, placing her sword over her shoulders.
"Yes Mordred-san," Mashu replied. "Though I do believe that the reason they were strong in the first place because the Lion King was present. Her Lance causes the enemies to be stronger during our mission and now they're similar to the ones in Rome."
"Yeah, you got that right," Mordred frowned as memories of her being impaled by the Holy Lance during the Battle of Camlann Hill.
"It stills surprised me that the Lion King was the real King Arthur who turned into a divine spirit," Ritsuka added pondering on the topic.
"Of course, it should be a surprise," Romani said walking up to them. "The Scared Lance Rhongomyniad fastens together the two sides of the world. The reverse side and the outer side. It's an anchor of the world itself without it the world will fall. From the research, we have gathered that upon death King Arthur held onto the Lance, and the result of holding it cause her to transform into the person you have faced."
"That's impressive Doctor," Ritsuka said fascinated by what he said.
"Tch, like that Honor student." Mordred scoffed at Romani being like Bedivere.
"Haha, sorry Sir Mordred I forgot you don't like talking about the Roundtable or it's King," Romani laughs, rubbing the back of his head.
"Nah, forget it. I learned to accepted what happened in the past from master." Mordred shrugs, "Now I understand what father was going through back then, I'm able to speak to him without getting angry at him." The Knight of Treachery grins
"Speaking of Knights of the Roundtable, Fujimaru we have enough for a multi summon and..." Romani reaching into his pockets taking out a wood chip. "We have a catalyst."
Mashu took the wood chip from Romani's hand and examined it. She gasps at what the relic is. "Senpai, this is a piece of the Roundtable that Arturia's knight sat around."
"I thought I destroyed it back at the Great Holy Grail War," Mordred crossed her arms, remembering the event.
"There are multiple pieces in the storage room the Marisbury had placed." the Doctor explains to the Knight.
Mashu hands over the piece to Ritsuka and examines it as well. "So when are we going to do the summons Doctor?" personally he is excited to meet his heroes back when he was a little kid and not the ones of the Lion King.
"When you are ready, Fujimaru." Romani smiles ruffling his hair.
They went to the summoning room where the staff is ready to record the Spirit Origins. Ritsuka placed the relic in the center and the Saint Quartz around the circle. The doors opened to the King of Knights and Bedivere to see the summoning of their friends.
"Ah Arturia, Bedivere glad you can make it," Ritsuka greeted the King and her Knight
"Of course, I want to see the knights that served me once more." The King of Knights said a bit excited.
"And me as well," Bedivere added.
"Well, you were about to miss it. " Mordred eyed the two.
"I would never miss this Mordred." Arturia said to her 'son'.
"Yeah, yeah, I know how you are when it comes to master father," Mordred smirks at her father.
Arturia sighs at Mordred's unique personality.
"Everything is all set for the summoning ritual and ready to record the Saint Graph, Doctor," Mashu looks at the monitors with three Spirit Origins on screen.
Romani nodded and looks at Ritsuka in front of him. "Right, whenever you are ready Fujimaru," he said to the young Magus, Ritsuka closes his eyes and chants the summoning ritual he resited multiple times.
The Saint Quartz dissolve into liquid and the relic started to glow. Three bodies began to morph from the liquefied minerals. Soon a bright light flashes and once it secedes three new Servants appeared in the summoning circle.
"Saber-class Servant, Lancelot, has arrived. It may be just for a moment, but I shall offer my sword to you, Master." The dark armored man greeted his summoner.
"I am a Knight of the Round Table, Gawain. I look forward to working with you." The blond-haired man said to Ritsuka.
"Knight of the Round Table, Tristan. I have arrived in answer to the summons. I pray that I will be useful to you. Please issue your order, Master." The Red-haired Archer introduced himself.
"Hello you guys, it's been a while," Ritsuka said to his heroes when he was a kid.
"Humanity's final master, summoned us?" Lancelot said surprised he summoned them after the events of the Sixth Singularity.
"I thought you're never going to summon us after the sins we did back in Camelot," Gawain said, ashamed of his actions to the people of the Holy Land.
Tristan inclines his head, facing down on the floor. "I will accept any punishment you see fit for what I've done to you and the citizens of the Holy Land." He said with the others join him.
"Even though I helped you in your mission, I'm still guilty of what I've done," Lancelot looks down, ready for his punishment.
"As do I, I'm not worthy of being called a Knight of the Roundtable for the sins I have committed," Gawain added to his fellow Knight's claims.
Ritsuka looked over to the remaining Knights who nodded. Ritsuka walks over to them. "I understand that back then you have to do what you thought was right. You all want to save Humanity from the incineration even if it cost everything." He began.
They looked at him with widened eyes. Gawain sheds a tear while the others remained silent from his words. " Now you all have the chance to save Humanity again. So how about it?" Ritsuka offers his hand in friendship to the three Knights. "Will all of you help me in saving humanity's future?" he asked with a smile on his face.
They all looked at the other members of the Knights of the Roundtable behind him.
"I say go for it, master here is different from the rest," Mordred said, wanting them to help her master. She can tolerate them for her master's sake.
Arturia nodded, knowing their power will be useful. "Indeed, he helped me and Mordred to see eye to eye and understand each other." Their former king said.
Bedivere nodded. "Even though I'm a new servant, I can tell that master is one of the best."
The words from their fellow Knights and former King is enough to convince them.
"I Sir Lancelot herby swear my loyalty to you, my master." The Knight of the Lake said.
"I, Sir Gawain shall be your sword and protect you, master," The Knight of the Sun said.
"I shall follow you, master, as a way to repent my actions in Camelot," Tristan knelt to him.
End Flashback
Ritsuka smiles sadly. Every Servant he summons sees him as a saint, a flawless person. An angel was sent from Gia. But in truth he's not, he still struggles inside of him and buries it deep down. Even right now he is still holding his anger towards his family deep inside and put on a façade to hide what he truly feels.
He went inside the library and looked around the vast selves. The place is almost vacant of students, they are all either in class or off somewhere to avoid learning. There were at least some Ravenclaw students in the library but a low number of them. Ritsuka wants to do a little research on the tournament to get his mind off the whole family bit.
"Senpai, what are we doing here in the library?" Mashu asked curiously.
"I just want information on what the task is going to be like," Ritsuka said looking at the history section. He drags his index finger on the titles of the spines of the books. "From what Reines sent you, the task is different for each Tournament so if so how the same champion gets picked again then they won't have an advantage against the others."
"Hmmm, smart. From what Caster told me before, the wizards can be arrogant around them avoiding advancement and only go to the simplest route to avoid hard-earned work." Galahad said helping his master with his research.
"I have a fair share of wizard encounters back in the day, not pretty though," Tristan said walking to the window looking outside.
"Senpai here's one," Mashu hand over the book to him. "It mentions that the first-ever Tri-Wizard Tournament had tasks where the champions did a race with broomsticks, puzzles that they need to use the transfiguration spells, and finally a duel between the three," Mashu read him.
Ritsuka looked over the pages explaining how the first tournament worked. "This is great Mashu, though it doesn't say about the other tournaments." He points out.
"Uh, excuse me Mr. Fujimaru." They turn to Hermione coming out behind the bookshelves with a book in her hands.
"Oh, Hermione what are you doing here?" Ritsuka asked the Gryffindor girl.
Hermione walks to them and places the book that she was holding on the table, "I overheard your conversation about the tournament, and I happen to have the book about it here." Ritsuka turns the pages of the book.
Ritsuka turns the pages reading about each past tournament. He closes the book and smiles "Thank you, Hermione, this is helpful." He thanked her.
"You're welcome, Mr. Fujimaru," Hermione replied.
Ritsuka waves his hand, making her a bit confused about his action. "Call me Ritsuka, I feel like an old man when some call me that title." He jokes with the young witch.
"Okay Ritsuka, so why are you researching the Tri-Wizard Tournament?" Hermione asked the Magus.
"I want to know what I'm going to do, and with the information of the past tournaments I have the concept of it," Ritsuka answered the brunette's question.
"Ah, planning ahead smart move." Hermione was impressed by him making an effort for the tournament, unlike the others.
"Mashu, can you take pictures of the book please?" Ritsuka asked his Kohai.
"Hai," Mashu smiles taking out her tablet and taking pictures of each page with the list of past tasks of the tournament.
Hermione looked at Mashu as she takes the pictures. "How on earth did you even got that tablet to work here? The magic in the school should be causing some interference with muggle technology." She said surprised that the tablet works.
"Oh? You know of a tablet?" Tristan asked, a bit shocked to hear that she knows the Mudane's technology.
"Yes, you see I'm a muggle-born. I was born and raised in the muggle world; both my parents are dentists so I'm pretty much on times." Hermione informs them.
"(So they're accepting muggle-borns here.)" Tristan whispers to himself.
Ritsuka sighs turning his attention to the bushy-hair girl, "My Organization has incorporated both Magecraft and Technology when it comes to our line of work. Our Tech Advisor along with our Mages has created a product to counteract the issue with magic and technology."
"Fascinating, mind if you can tell me the name?" Hermione asked intrigued by the mini-lesson.
"I'm sorry but that information is confidential. Only staff members can know the name." Ritsuka apologies to her.
"I get it, you run an important organization." Hermione understood what he means before pausing with another question in her mind, "What exactly does your organization do?"
Both Tristan, Mashu, and Galahad flinch seeing they have not thought of a way to hide the purpose of Chaldea's mission.
"We just help people with the security of their homes and business. We often deal with Politian's homes as well." Ritsuka replied with a calm smile.
"Oh, that's interesting." Hermione pique, before looking at the clock. "Oh, Mr.- sorry Ritsuka it's almost dinner, you want to come with me to the Great Hall?" she asked the master.
"Sure, all this researching gives me an appetite." The young director jokes. "Mashu?"
"Of course, Senpai, I'm a bit hungry as well." Mashu agrees, closing the book.
"Great, let's go."
The Servants were sitting where they usually sit and the wizards are staring as usual. But this time was different. "Does anyone know what different here?" Arthur asked the others.
They try to think what's wrong with this picture until Holmes chuckles. "Master is running late."
Hishiri sips her tea, "I believe that he was researching in the library," she answers.
"Ah, no wonder he's late," Lancelot said knowing master's fascination with books. Then the doors opened to Ritsuka along with the others and one addition to his small group.
Everyone stared at him talking amongst themselves with Hermione the Gryffindor's bookworm. She was enjoying herself with the group as they have a conversation about Ritsuka's experience in Chaldea. They walk to where the others are present and sat down with them.
"Mashu, what happened then with the nurse and Ritsuka?" Hermione asked enjoying the tale.
"Well, after Senpai injured his leg the nurse tried to amputate it. We tried to stop her seeing how extreme that was and after a few reasons not to she ultimately stop." The former Demi-servant chuckles.
"That was the most terrifying experience I've faced." Ritsuka jokes making Hermione laughs.
Soon Ginny joins in "Hey Hermione, what's so funny?" she asked curious about why she's laughing.
"Oh, Ginny Mashu here was telling me about how a nurse tried to amputate Ritsuka's leg," Hermione said to the Weasley girl.
"Really? That sounds interesting and funny, care to tell me?" Ginny asked, wanting in the conversation.
"Oh sure, Senpai and I were…" Mashu told Ginny sitting down next to her, listening to the time in America excluding the whole Singularity bit, and went for a home security evaluation.
Ginny laughs after the story. "And she just left it like that!? Merlin that's hilarious!"
"Indeed, it is," Hishiri commented as she listens to the tale.
Ritsuka sighs remembering that time with Nightingale. Everyone around him was amused by the time Nightingale first met him. Soon dinner was served as food appear in front of them and dig right in after Dumbledore finished his evening announcements.
As Mashu told stories of Ritsuka and herself to Ginny and Hermione a cheer tune filled the hall. Most students were confused while some dance with it being catchy. The Servants dread the tune knowing who that is calling. (Insert Fate/Extra CCC OST BB Channel)
"What's that tune?" Hermione asked, looking at Ritsuka. She saw him groans and gave in answering the call from his wrist com.
-ZZZ- BB CHANNEL! – ZZZ-
A holographic small woman appeared in front of Ritsuka as she did a pose. -ZZZ- Hello master-Kun, your beloved Servant is here. -ZZZ- she greeted him.
Ritsuka sighs and looks at the Moon Cancer's hologram. "Hello BB, what is it do you need?" he asked the AI.
Hermione looked over and saw the hologram. "YOUR ABLE TO CREATE A HOLOGRAM!" she exclaims at the futuristic tech.
Ritsuka waves her off, "Another time."
BB chuckles -ZZZ- I see that humans are watching us as we speak, be grateful humans as this AI has graced you all with her presence. -ZZZ- she said as the Servants groans at her ego.
"Get to it AI!" Agravain yelled at the Moon Cancer.
-ZZZ- Pushy, pushy, aren't you Saber. fine. -ZZZ- BB shrugs and turns to Ritsuka -ZZZ- Master, someone is here in the outpost to see you. -ZZZ- she informs him.
"Can you tell me who it is?" Ritsuka asked his Servant on the details of this person.
BB shook her head. -ZZZ- Can't do, currently he is saying that he's just an old acquaintance. Hint old. -ZZZ- she said with an eye twitch.
"Very well, I will be there momentarily, send Steven to pick us up." Ritsuka sighs, he stood up from his seat along with his servants.
-ZZZ- You got it, master-Kun! BB signing off! -ZZZ- The AI said posing before signing off. (End song)
"Welp, I got to go. It's a pleasure meeting you both." Ritsuka smiles at the two.
"Same here," Hermione replied.
"Hishiri, Are you coming?" Ritsuka asked the Magus. She shook her head.
"I think I will stay here for a while, besides I'm still not done with my work," Hishiri said.
"Okay," Ritsuka along with his bodyguards and Mashu started to walk to the doors when Dumbledore stood up from his chair.
"Where are you going, my boy?" The old coot asked the Magus.
Ritsuka sighs turning around to face. "I have to go back to my temporary base, one of my Servants has contacted me saying there's someone important that wants to speak with me." He informs him. "So I'm going to meet that person."
"My boy, clearly that person can wait. We still need to sort you into your house and get you settled in." Dumbledore said trying to make him stay here. He wants to know everything about Harry so he can use that to his advantage.
"Yes, son stay here with your family." James backing up the old man.
Ritsuka sighs, looking over to Bedivere seeing he's more of the calm type out of the knights. Gawain is a second option The Silver arm Knight nodded stepping forward.
"As you can see, my master is a director and still have work to do. This includes meeting with clients and people." Bedivere gave a warm smile. "If you get in his way then his work will be push back."
"Work comes second when it comes to loved ones, good sir. Seeing that Mr. Potter's family didn't see him for the last sixteen years it would be right to reunite them." The old man smiles. "And besides this is a family matter you have no say in this."
Arthur chuckles. "And you? What's your role in this I quote 'Family matter'?"
Dumbledore puffs out his chest. "I'm consider both his and Charles's magical guardian, so that makes me his extended family." The old headmaster said.
"For the love of-"
Bedivere's smile remains as he knew someone is already pissed off. He moves away to a certain silver and red armored knight who made her way to the old man grabbing his beard tugging it to making eye contact.
"Listen here you old bastard, my master has a very important job than yours," Mordred stated. "Unlike you who used your powers to manipulate the people around you, master earns the trust of Magus and people alike, this includes his servants." She pulled his beard further down to the ground.
"If you dare to try and stop him then I will gut you in front of everyone here!" she threatens before letting him go making him stumble back. "Tch, what a waste of time."
They left the Great Hall leaving the bewilder wizards behind. Hermione and Ginny chuckle a bit at how a person can one-up the Headmaster easily.
"Headmaster, are you alright?" Lily asked coming down from the teacher's table helping him up on his feet.
"Yes, I'm fine Lily," Dumbledore said seeing Harry already left the Hall, "(James, Lily take John Dawlish and follow Harry, if we're lucky then we can know where he is staying.)" he whispers to the Potter parents as they went off to find John.
Charles saw his parents leaving as he tugs on Ron's sleeve "Let's go, Ron," The red-haired boy nodded as he followed his best friend as they sneak out of the Great Hall.
