In Space aboard the Main Ship...
"Lord Frieza, our spy drones you sent to earth to spy on Goku and Vegeta have picked up some very interesting information. Something I believe you will find quite fascinating. Shall I present the latest feed to you, Sir?" The puny lime green alien known as Kikono asked.
Frieza was having a rather dull evening as it was. Whatever the feed picked up. The galactic emperor hopes it was something useful.
"Very well, bring it up." He ordered.
Kikono bowed and brought up a holographic image. It was taken earlier in the evening, at the Brief's Home on the outside balcony. Well, it first started out with recording the two saiyans training in a remote location outside of the city. He fast forward it, until it showed everyone at the Brief's Residence. In the image, now stood Bulma, Whis, Lord Beerus, and another unknown young woman was with them. It appeared she came in with the destroyer god and his attendant.
Frieza found this rather odd at first. As to why the two deities would have a young human woman amongst their company. When they all started to speak. That's when everything got interesting. Apparently, there was much more to the mystery woman than the tyrant initially thought. He was surprised, yet intrigued when she stated that she was from earth in another universe. But it wasn't until the middle of their conversation. When another revelation was revealed.
The arcosian's blood red eyes widened. Once, he heard the saiyan prince mention the woman being of the Kandusai Race. So, not only was she from another dimension entirely. But from what is supposed to be an extinct warrior race that was wiped out around three millennia ago. And by the hand of his ancestor, Froze. At first, this baffled the tyrant. How could she be from a race that has been long gone? She's young, and if history serves him correct. The Kandusai lifespan was pretty similar to the saiyans.
It wasn't until Whis brought up the Daigon Spheres, that it all started to make sense. Of course, not only could they transport someone to another universe but bring someone into the future. Another theory is that there were survivors that escaped their planet's destruction and hid from the arcosians. Is it possible, one of them was transported to another universe to escape detection? Maybe this young woman is a descendant of one of those survivors.
A wide evil grin decorated his face. "Indeed, this is very valuable information."
He always wanted to figure out a way to transverse through different realms and dimensions. And this woman can possibly help him attain it. Now the evil emperor needed a solid plan on how to obtain the girl. Frieza frowned when one of the last things he heard on the feed was Whis and Lord Beerus telling the young woman that she will be safe with his two biggest foes.
This definitely caused problems for him. He doesn't believe he can send low level soldiers to nab the girl and bring her to him. One being since it was done before, the saiyans may expect such a move. Two, she is a Kandusai; which means she would be too much to handle for some of his weaker warriors. Frieza can try and think up another full proof plan. But they seem to all circle back around to one conclusion. He may have to risk going to earth himself, to obtain the young human woman.
Then a thought hit him. "Kikono, is there any update on those ki signature blockers? The project Doctor Muro has been working on?"
The lime green alien paused in thought. "Last update I can recall, was from the day before yesterday. He said they were just about finished."
The arcosian's tail swung lazily back and forth.
"Excellent, let me know as soon as he finishes them. Then I want him to give me a brief summary and rundown on how to work them." He demanded.
Kikono nodded. "Yes, My Lord. Are you then going to select a small group of men to test them?"
"No, I would like to use one for myself. I can use it to go to earth undetected to obtain the new human currently in their care." Frieza replied.
The little alien's bug eyes widened. "My Lord? Shouldn't we put them through a trial run first to see if their effects are up to par?"
The emperor waved him off. "That's something we can easily and quickly do aboard the ship. I'll choose some of my top elites to try them out. And we shall see if we will be able to sense their ki signature while they wear them. We'll have them wear the devices for a certain length of time, to make sure if the signal will remain strong or waiver. That shall give us all the results we need."
Kikono bowed. "Yes, My Lord. I'll go see where Doctor Muro's progress stands. Then inform you of the latest updates."
The puny alien man turned on his heal and exited the main room. Frieza turned his attention back to the feed. The woman was rather petite for her race. From what he read up on the race and heard. The Kandusai were usually more on the taller side, including the women. It only furthered his assumption, that she was in fact a descendant and not one of the actual survivors that escaped his ancestor's wraith.
But just because she was small in size doesn't mean he's going to underestimate her power. The Kandusai were a strong warrior race just like the Arcosians and Saiyans. It's why Froze decided to eradicate them. Just like Frieza eradicated the Saiyan Race; by blowing up Planet Vegeta. His ancestor feared that the Kandusai were growing too powerful. And in turn, would cause problems and possibly have been a threat to the Arcosians. The fact that they didn't get along, only added to the grim insinuation.
So of course, Froze took it upon himself to destroy them. If not, because he feared one of them would one day defeat him. And if one thing was certain about the members in Frieza's Bloodline. Is that they like to remain at the top as the universe's strongest and most powerful warriors. And despised any that would oppose them or get in their way. It really is no different to why Frieza killed off the saiyans. Because he too knew that one day, a saiyan warrior could pose a threat to him.
Of course his plan was all in vain. Since the only one powerful enough to do just that, was jettisoned into space as a child by his parents minutes before the planet exploded. While the other he kept under his rule as one of his minions until he went rogue and turned his back on the tyrant. Irony is such a fickle thing. Especially, when Frieza knew he should've just killed the saiyan prince while he was still a child. Then have his men comb other inhabited planets for other stragglers, in search of young Goku.
Nothing changes the fact though, that Goku and Vegeta still remain alive and victorious...for now at least. But if Frieza does indeed get ahold of the girl. Then he wouldn't have to bother with the two saiyans. Because he will use her to find one of the other remaining Daigon Spheres and have her use them to transport them to other universes. Ones with weak inhabitants who will not stand a chance against him or his force. Why stay here and keep avoiding the current threat. When you can go to other places where nothing can match you and you can rule over them. Without the pesky problems of godlike saiyans to get in your way.
The more Frieza thought about the possibilities. The more he wanted to execute his plans for going to earth and taking the young woman. All he really had to do now, is wait for the latest results on the ki signature blockers and go from there. If the devices work as good as the Doctor claims. Then he should have no problem with his plan. He kept his crimson eyes on the small holographic image in front of him and chuckled.
"Soon." He said, keeping his eyes on the young human woman sitting next to Bulma and Goku, while chatting them up during dinner.
Yeah, I know this chapter is shorter than usual. But it really was a filler chapter to see what our favorite evil emperor was up to. Now, we have a pretty good idea on what his plans are. And they don't look good for Angel. Also the ki signature blockers don't do anything to hurt a wearer's power. They are not suppressants, but rather they scramble the energy signatures signal. So other fighters can't sense or detect their ki signature. Think of some of our modern tech that are used to scramble or block certain signals. They are pretty much based off of that.
