Ch 19 Aftermath
Ritsuka and Ereshkigal walk out of the arena as the dragon tamers came running in. "Restrain it!" One cried as both Ritsuka and Ereshkigal scoff at how they're handling the Horntail.
"I swear if the world isn't at stake than I would personally send them to the underworld." The Lancer said glaring at the wizards.
Ritsuka sighs " I get how you feel, just leave it for now." He said to her.
"As you wish, master," Ereshkigal said as they made their way into the tent where the minister and the judges were waiting.
James storms over pulling his wand pointing at the Goddess. "Get. Away. From. My. Son. Demon!" James warns her.
The Mesopotamian Goddess scoff at his demand. "And why should I do that?" she asked him. "You see human, I'm contracted to master as his servant, so I won't do what you say." She said.
"Tch, I don't care if you are his servant, once the contract is complete then you'll take his soul to hell!" he exclaims. "I will save him from your devil hands, bitch!"
The room was quiet when a chuckle broke the silence. Everyone search where the chuckle came from when a burst of laughter suddenly spook them. they turn to see Ritsuka laughing out loud at their foolishness. "What's funny Mr. Pot-Fujimaru."
He places his hand on forehead pulling back his hair. "Y-You thinking she's a demon because you based it on a contract? HA!" he laughs again.
"Har-Ritsuka, please be serious, this demon-" Lily was interrupted by him.
"Mrs. Potter, Lancer, and my other servants are my familiars that I summoned." He said. " They help me run Chaldea." He said to all of them.
"Your servants aren't familiars. Familiars are animals such as owls, cats, rats. Toads and birds; not humanoid." Dumbledore said as everyone nodded agreeing with the headmaster.
Zelretch steps up. "It's clear to me that all of you wizards are way behind with the times." He said to them.
"And what makes you say that vampire?" Moody asked.
He turns to the old auror "The Mages have advance further in Magecraft or magic by integrating science and technology in their crafts. Most magus has humanoid familiar for instants my apprentice." He points to him.
"Apprentice?" James asked. "Why would a vampire take my son as an apprentice?" he asked him.
"I'm getting tired of this; the term humans are Dead Apostles." He informs them. "They are much stronger than vampires."
"No matter, they're still bloodsuckers," Karloff said as Zelretch glared at him.
"If we're done here, my nurse needs to do a check-up on my physical body," Ritsuka said walking to the other side. "If I make her wait for long, she'll probably hold me in the medical bay for an hour." He said to them.
Everyone followed the magus and saw Nightingale and Gawain waiting for him to arrive. "Master, please take your seat so I can perform your medical examination," Nightingale said lead him to the bed.
Dumbledore walks to them and puts a grandfatherly smile. "Young lady let Madam Pomfrey handle the check-up, she's more experienced in the physical body of a wizard. And Mr. Pot-"
She looks at him and ignores him and continues her examination. "Now I'm going to open the back master to see the area that your back made contact with the wall." She said as she unzips the back of the combat suit.
"Excuse me, didn't you hear me, Miss? Our healer will handle Mr. Potter's injury." The old man said as the healer walks up to them.
"Hello, my name is Madam Pomfrey an-"
"Nurse Pomfrey, I am more experience in taking care of my master." The Berserker said as she took a stethoscope and check his heartbeat on his back. "Mmmm, a bit of a bruising. Healing talisman with suffice." She said.
James had enough as he walks up to them. "I had enough of the-" he place his hand on her shoulder then Nightingale grabs his arm and flips him over her master to the other side of the bed. Everyone was stunned at what occurred and look at James lying on the floor in pain.
He groans as Nightingale looks over to a shock Pomfrey. "You're a nurse correct?" she asked as the shock healer nods. "Then do your job and heal this man." She said sternly as Pomfrey rushes over to him.
Nightingale returns her attention to Ritsuka as he is finishing his examination. Dumbledore took a step back at the amount of strength this woman has to flip over a full-grown man without breaking a sweat.
Gawain chuckles at his master's father feeble attempt on stopping her work. "Nice try, Mr. Potter." He said as the healer helps him up on the bed. "Word of advice don't disturb Berserker on doing her job." He said to him.
James glared at the Saber as Nightingale finished her examination. "All looks, good master. Minus the brushing your top of your health." She said to him as she zips up the suit.
"Now master, may I attend to the two who is about to go into shock." She said.
Amos looked at Ritsuka "W-What does that mean?" he asked as Fleur and Cedric fell on the floor all of a sudden. Everyone rushes to their side trying to help them.
"POMFREY! HELP MY SON!" Amos cried out as he lightly slaps his son's cheeks. "You're going to be alright, son." He said as the healer went over to them.
The Healer looked at the unconscious champions as she tries different healing spells. "I-I don't know what to do," she said never meeting this kind of thing before.
Ritsuka looks at Nightingale. "Berserker," he said as she nodded.
Nightingale moves to the two champions as she checks their condition. "Third-degree burns on the young boy's cheek and the young girl's leg." She said as she checks their pulse.
"W-What is she doing?" Fudge asked.
"Checking their vitals to see if their alive or not," Ritsuka said as the nurse moves on to Fleur.
"How can you check the vitals by doing that?" Moody said watching every move she makes.
"Their vitals are dropping, master." She looks at him. "Do I have your permission?" she asked.
He nodded as Nightingale got up. "I need everyone to step out of the room." She orders.
"Why? They are dying we can't leave then like this!" Lily proclaims.
"Muggle, you cannot think you can heal them?" Karloff said skeptically on her.
"Like it or not these two will die. If I don't get this room clear, then I would force you out myself." She said to all of them.
"But Pomfrey is-"Dumbledore was soon interrupted as Nightingale stood before him.
"Your 'healer' is not equipped for this situation. I've been treating patients of all kinds in my lifetime, unless if you want to be responsible for their deaths then I won't help." She threatens him.
"You can't talk to the Headmaster like that!" Amos said to the nurse.
"Unless if you cooperate with me, your son will survive. If not then he and that young girl will be in a casket." She said to all of them.
"Can you heel zem?" Maxime asked her.
"Yes, I have my master's permission to use my power." She said to them.
Dumbledore hates this as he looks at the two students on the beds. "Fine, everyone leaves the room." He ordered.
"But-"
"Cornelius if you don't want a mass of wizards getting on you for preventing a healer doing their job then you better follow what…Berserker said." Dumbledore said as he leaves frustrated at the situation.
Amos went to his son and brush his hair out of his face. He turns to Ritsuka "Help him," he said.
"You have my word." He responded as he leaves.
"Saber, Lancer make sure no ones watching." He orders his servants.
"Yes, master." They both said as they escort the rest of the wizards out.
Lily stared back at her son as he took out a light blue gem from his pocket. " Stilles Feld," he said flicking the gem in the air as an invisible barrier was formed.
Ereshkigal and Gawain stood in front of the curtains guard it as Ritsuka and Nightingale heal the critically injured champion.
Lily tries to listen in the room seeing how it was just fabrics but all she hears is silent. "I can't hear anything." She said making some worried.
"What's going on in there? Why can't we hear anything." James said.
Zelertch chuckles getting the attention of everyone in the tent. "What's so funny?" Moody asked.
"Oh it's nothing, just my apprentice impressing me again." He said smiling.
"And how did he impress you, Mr. Schweinorg?" Dumbledore asked the Dead Apostle.
"He just put up a bound field to prevent any sound to come out from the room he is in," he said as many gasps.
Nightingale stood firm in front of the two champions. Ritsuka stood beside her as he held his command spell. " By my order, release your Noble Phantasm Nightingale!"
Nightingale closes her eyes and opens her arms wide.
"I will purge all that is toxic, all that is harmful!"
A soft light glows around her as she chants.
"For as long as I have this power, I shall lead everyone to happiness!"
Fleur slowly opens her eyes as she bare witness the miracle that the Nurse will do.
A translucent version of Nightingale in a nurse outfit appears holding a sword in her hands. Nightingale opens her eyes and raise her left hand and cried out as the translucent version of her brought down her sword on them.
"Nightingale Pledge!"
Once the sword came down upon the two a warm light engulfs them as the burns and injuries healed at a quick rate. Nightingale went to them examining both. "Treatment complete, no injuries sighted." She said.
Fleur groans as she sat up from the bed. She looks beside her and sees Nightingale still unconscious then at Ritsuka. "Director Fujimaru, Vhat happened?" she asked the magus.
"Well, the Common Green Welsh has burned you that cause you to go into shock." He said, "So in able to heal you I had Nightingale heal the two of you."
She looks down her legs to see the burns are completely healed. "Merci, director. If my father was here he'll thank you as vell." She smiles.
Ritsuka shrugs. "I'm doing what I feel is right, besides your father will be upset with me for not saving you." He said.
"Yes, he vill kill you director." She jokes as Cedric groans in pain.
Cedric felt better for some unknown reason. He opens his eyes to see Ritsuka's nurse tending to him. "You're awake, that's good if you didn't then I'll have to get a transport vehicle from here to the outpost where I'm better equipped.' She said.
"What happened?" he asked her.
"You went into shock as a result of the burns you receive, seeing how severe this is I use a special kind of treatment to heal you." She said to him.
"Thank you, Uh…"
"Berserker," she said finishing her examination. "If you want to thank someone it would be my master."
"Master? Oh Ritsuka," he looks to the magus standing there. "Thank you Ritsuka for helping us."
Ritsuka raised an eyebrow at him. "You did not hesitate on my name," he said.
"Well, your name is Ritsuka Fujimaru. I remember that Rider said you go by that name instead of Harry Potter so…" Cedric said to him.
"I see, well I appreciate it, Cedric." He smiles as he deactivates the Bounded field and walking out of the room. "The treatment is a success, you can go in but Berserker wants to discuss something with you." He said to the wizards.
Everyone gather inside to tent and saw the two champions completely healed. "How is that possible," Fudge asked seeing them in full health.
"Har-Ritsuka, how did you-"
"It's just Berserker performing miracles." He said as Nightingale bows her head to him.
Dumbledore was even more curious about how someone can heal a wizard that fast in mere minutes. "Tell me Ms. Berserker, how are you able to heal both MR. Diggory and Ms. Delacour this fast?" he asked the Berserker.
She looks at the old headmaster with a blank look in her eyes. "That's confidential information." She said walking to the two.
"I suggest bed rest for two weeks before doing the second task. Have Nurse Pomfrey do daily check-ups on your physique and get plenty of nutrients to restore your stamina." She said to them.
"Yes, Berserker." They said to her.
Amos went over to Nightingale. "Thank you miss, you save my son. As to you Mr. Po-Fujimaru." he thanked him.
"As I said to them, I'm doing what is right." He smiles before leaving the room. "Berserker, Lancer, Saber let's go meet up with the others. If I'm right then we would be having a party back at the outpost." He said to them.
Malfoy Mansion
Voldemort was in his room with Peter standing beside him tending to his needs in able to maintain his weak physical body. "Wormtail! I need more of the potion!" he orders the coward.
"Yes, master." He said as he gave him the potions.
"So I heard that the Potters' other son is alive and running…a muggle company or something." The frail man said.
"Y-Yes my lord." One of his Death Eaters said.
"I want information about him. Contact Severus to spy on the brat so we can find a way for him to come to our side" he said. "If I'm correct that boy has some issues with his family, if we can exploit him of his resources then the Wizard Community will be on their knees before me." He smirks.
"I don't think that would happen." A female voice said making everyone turn to the door.
"Who are you!?" Voldemort demanded of her.
"Me?" she said to him. " Oh, you may call me Avenger of the Gallows. But do call me Avenger." She grins.
"M-Master." Wormtail quiver at the sight of the woman. Black hair like tar, silver eyes that could pierce through anyone's soul, and pale white skin that shined in the light.
"Shut it." He said to his coward servant. " Tell me, Avenger, why you have come to me. From what I'm sensing you have tremendous power within you."
She grins at them. "Oh I'm just want to assist you, I heard that you almost killed two children sixteen years ago." She smiles sweetly. "I find that…attracting."
Voldemort thought for a moment about her. 'She has this power, with that taking over the wizarding community would be easy.' He thought. He looks at her with an evil smile. "Very well, you may help Avenger me; all I ask to take out Harry Potter."
"Oh, I can do much better than that my lord." She said.
"And what's that?" he asked her.
"I can tell you what he is after." She smirks as he got his attention.
AN: How do you like it? I have been rethinking about the original and decide to add an enemy servant on Voldemort's side. There will be more Servants in the future series I'm planning, but for now, I want to know who Avenger of the Gallows is. Please leave a review.
