Chapter 107
The next morning rehearsals for the big come back show were in full swing in Erin's music room. Tegan and Sara decided to take it easy for the first day and let the band off the hook. Two hours into the practice session Tegan plonked down on the couch. "Come on Tee, one more time" said Sara frustrated. "No... Let's take a break" said Tegan putting her feet up. "One more time and we can take a break!" said Sara. "Sara! I need a fucking break okay..." said Tegan loudly. Sara stared at her. "Sorry... I sometimes forget... You okay?" she said softly. "I'm fine I just want to take a break I can't concentrate any longer" said Tegan. "Oh so it's not physical" said Sara sarcastically. "It's... not... just all physical" sang Tegan and laughed. Sara threw her with a pillow as Erin walked in with some tea. "Sorry am I interrupting? Just wanted to bring you a snack and some tea. Kate left me with clear instructions to feed you two well" she said. "We were just taking a break. Thank you! I'm starving!" said Tegan and dug into some fruit and nuts. "I don't understand why Kate needs to go into frikken South Central LA for work" said Sara frustrated. "Sar... what do you want her to do, sit here the whole day waiting for you? This is important to her. She wants to do some pro-bono work while she has time. The clinic is the perfect place, they really need her" said Tegan. "I thought you were her charity case" said Sara and burst out laughing. "Stuff off Sara!" said Tegan with her mouth full. "I just worry about her you know" said Sara sipping her tea. "If there's anybody in this world that can take care of herself it's Kate. Relax, girl's got street smarts" said Tegan. "I guess" said Sara. "I'm just happy that she's leaving me unsupervised for a change... I was starting to feel like a five year old" mumbled Tegan. "Well technically I'm supervising" said Sara. "Yeah right" mumbled Tegan. "She's asked me to move in with her guys" said Sara blushing slightly. "What!? Um... That's... what did you say?" said Tegan. "I said yes of course" said Sara. "You don't think it's too soon? Just asking!" said Tegan. "We've asked ourselves that question too... and the answer is no... I don't know guys, I've never felt this way about anybody. When you know you know... what's the point of delaying it? We'll be sleeping together every night we may as well make it official. But I don't know... maybe we shouldn't put that much pressure on the relationship" said Sara as if talking to herself. "Well I have an idea... it's not as if you're going to give up your place in Montreal. We all know you're going to sleep together every night... wherever that may be. So just don't label it you know" said Tegan. "Mmm... I don't know. She's really looking forward to it" said Sara. "Don't over analyse this Sar... just go with the flow" said Erin. "You two know her better than anybody... you're like the three musketeers... am I crowding her" asked Sara. "Sara... Kate... how do I put this... Kate doesn't let herself... be crowded unless she wants to be crowded. If she brought this up she's totally into it" said Tegan. "You two are so cute" said Erin. "Anyway how are the tunes going?" asked Erin. "Okay I guess... we're rusty, I have a feeling that show's going to be a fuckup so I guess our stupid stories and our sparkling personalities will have to pull us through" said Sara sarcastically. "Don't say that!" said Tegan. "You'll be golden as long as somebody doesn't almost pass out on stage again" said Erin. Tegan looked away and swallowed hard. "Tee... I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you" said Erin. "I know, you didn't upset me" said Tegan but suddenly seemed nervous.
Tegan and Sara left the music room after a busy day of practicing. "Ugh... I'm finished" said Tegan and gave Lindsey a long hug. "Did you have a good day my superstar photographer?" smiled Tegan and kissed Lindsey. "Great day yes... but I'm so glad it's over, my feet are killing me" she said. "You guys are working so hard! You didn't even have a honeymoon!" said Erin. "Yeah that sucks, but it's fine... we'll do the honeymoon later" smiled Tegan. "Every day is a honeymoon baby" purred Lindsey. "Please excuse us tonight for dinner guys. My wife and I have a bit of catching up to do" said Tegan. "I think we should all order Chinese and snuggle up in bed tonight" said Erin. "Cool with me" yawned Sara. Her face lit up when Kate walked into the room "Baby!" she said and threw her arms around Kate's neck and kissed her hello. "I've missed you" she said. "How was your day?" she said. "Crazy! I've missed you too" said Kate and plonked down on the couch. "Come, let's go relax. I'll pour you a glass of wine" said Sara. "Thanks, I just want to check Tee's vitals real quick" said Kate. Tegan was lying on a couch with her head on Lindsey's lap and her eyes closed. "I'm fine..." said Tegan sounding annoyed. "I'm sure you are but you know the drill" said Kate annoyed. "Tomorrow's going to be a long day Tee. After you guys have seen Adison and everything checks out with Lindsey and the babies we're going to run a lot of tests on you. I want you to prepare yourself to be at the hospital pretty much the whole day" said Kate. "Okay... but why do you need so many tests again. I'm fine" said Tegan. "We need to check your progress and make sure everything's okay. It's not a big deal Tee but it's time consuming" said Kate. "Okay..." said Tegan "I'm just not going to think about it tonight. Come on boo, let's go" said Tegan. "We'll send food down when it arrives okay" said Erin. "You're so good to us" said Tegan and hugged her friend.
Kate kissed Sara's head from behind where she was sitting on a lounger next to the pool. "You startled me" said Sara. "Everything okay with Tee?" she asked. "Yeah... All good. She's tired though, you worked her hard it seems" said Kate. "She pushed herself, it wasn't me!" said Sara defensively. "We have so much work to do before that show. I just really hope she's okay by then" said Sara sounding worried. "I think she will be Sar" smiled Kate. "You ready to meet with the prosecutor tomorrow?" asked Kate. "I hope so" shrugged Sara. "Do you want me to come with you? I can move Tegan's tests to Saturday?" said Kate. "No... really it's no big deal. I would like you to come with me to court if you can but this is just prep. Take care of Tegan. I'll be fine" said Sara. "Are you sure?" said Kate. "Yes, I'm sure!" said Sara. Kate nodded. "How did your hand hold up today?" she asked. "Okay... but I'm sore now. It's been really throbbing for the last hour" said Sara. Kate lifted her hand while staring into Sara's eyes. "Let me kiss it better" she said and softly and sensually kissed it. "God you're hot" said Sara blushing. Kate started massaging Sara's sore hand softly. Sara let out a whimper. "Shhh" breathed Kate softly. "I'm going to massage it and we'll put some ice on it. It will feel better soon" said Kate. "You need to see the physio again" said Kate. "These muscles and tendons need a bit of help. Maybe some ultrasound will work" she said. Sara stared at Kate longingly. "Yeah... Kate... I need you... I want you... now" said Sara softly. Kate kissed Sara and lay her back on the lounger. She hovered over her and started fondling her breasts. "You have the most amazing breasts" whispered Kate. Sara panted, she could feel the blood rush to her face. Tegan was on the couch going through some of the photos on Lindsey's camera. "These are amazing Linds... absolutely amazing" she said. "Well these guys are not as pretty as my favourite subject but they're okay" smiled Lindsey. "I feel grubby and sweaty... do you want to join me for a shower" smiled Lindsey. "Oh yes" said Tegan super fast and got up. Tegan wrote a note and stuck it to the door with some tape. She followed Lindsey into the bathroom and hugged her from behind breathing heavily into her neck. She put her hands under Lindsey's shirt and slowly and seductively pulled it up. Lindsey felt goosebumps form all over her body as Tegan's fingers touched her skin softly. "You're so sexy" breathed Tegan and put her hands on Lindsey's ever expanding belly. "Hurry up baby" whispered Lindsey, her hormones now raging. Tegan swiftly pulled down Lindsey's pants and led her to the shower with her hand on her soft bum. She yanked her own clothes off in record time and stepped into the running shower. She immediately attacked Lindsey's lips with her own. "Let's get clean real fast then" said Tegan and started washing Lindsey's body softly. The sweet smell of the body wash adding to her longing. Tegan rubbed her soapy hands in circles on Lindsey's belly and moved on to her breasts. "Holy shit my breasts feel as if they've had a million new nerve endings" whispered Lindsey as Tegan massaged them softly. "Oh god I want you... She didn't think she was very successful and tried her best to stifle a laugh at her ridiculous attempt. Lindsey washed her own hair and pretended not to notice Tegan. She giggled when she saw Tegan's shampoo filled hair standing up in a horn on her head, she was the cutest thing she's ever seen. Tegan soaped up a sponge and seductively started lathering up her body her hands moving up and down her midriff slowly. Tegan's hands moved to her own folds and washed sensually. She moaned softly. Lindsey still didn't break. Tegan washed her own breasts and massaged them feeling her hard nipples between her fingers with her eyes closed. Lindsey could not control her lust for a second longer and suddenly pinned Tegan against a wall and attacked her lips. "No no no... Patience!" said Tegan and giggled. Lindsey left the shower and Tegan put her forearm against the wall, she rested her forehead against it. Tegan huffed and took a deep breath before rinsing the soap off her body.
