"Ah Paris...the city of lights...and top fashion icon of the world. So glad we're finally back." Rarity said.
"Yeah...this place is a nice vacation spot after what happened with Prime and the Knights of the Lost." Jexi said.
"Tell me about it. We definitely need this. I mean, yeah, there was Galar, but Horde Prime was a whole new level." David said.
"Yeah. We need a good place to rest." Hope said. "Lucky for us, the only thing to worry about here is the occasional Supervillain attack, courtesy of Hawk Moth."
"Yes. Plus it gives me time to work on deciphering more of the Miracle Book." Levy said.
"Of course, Hawk Moth is part of the New Universal Villains. So he won't be the only one we might have to deal with. They've been keeping quiet since the events in Etheria with Light Hope and the Horde's destruction." Jet said.
"Speaking of which, how do you think they're going to take Horde Prime's death?" Francisca asked.
"Not very well, I would assume." Zacian said.
"We should be fine. Marinette and Adrien went back to classes today so it should be pretty lax today." Jexi said. "Still...I can't shake this feeling things are going to be stirred up here in Paris again."
Meanwhile at the Agreste Mansion…
"Damn...all that time working for the Horde and their figurehead had to go and get himself killed." Compress said reading of Prime's death in the paper.
"It's unfortunate, for sure." Techno agreed. "Well, at least we weren't there for it. I'd rather not run the risk of becoming a willess servant."
"Still...Prime was a careful person. He doesn't strike as the person to attack other universes for no reason. Think someone pushed him to it? Like those knights that have been going around?" Spinner asked.
"Doubt it. I've seen how they act and this doesn't seem like their style." Boba Fett said.
"So eh… what're we gonna do while were here anyway besides laze around?" Pete asked. "I wanna have another chance of taking down those smug heroes."
"In case you forgot, fat cat, Dadan's Hero's Day manhunt plan didn't go so well. Remember?" Freiza asked.
"He's unfortunately right. While we managed to meet up and get some members, we've suffered massive losses. And with the Horde gone and Catra, Scorpia and Entrapta joining the hero's side, we are more than dangerously outnumbered." Techno said.
"But you know Gabriel's not gonna give up on taking the Miraculous so he can get his wife back." Twice said. "He's not giving up. Maybe we shouldn't either."
"Now watch yourself. I never once said we'd be giving up." Techno said. "True we've had losses, so I suggest we go back to the previous plan. Working with Gabriel and Natalie in order to get the Miraculouses. All 17 of them. Right now, he's trying to find a good person to Akumatize so we can at least have a chance."
"Yeah...and then we can go after Achilles and…" DaDan said.
"Absolutely not. That boy is too close to those heroes. Last time, they proved more clever than you thought. Besides, we don't need the Lost Gate to battle them." Techno said.
"He's right." Shigaraki said. "All we need… is a gap in the armor."
While at the school, events were taking place involving a girl known as Lila as she manages to lie her way into the hearts of everyone she meets. Gaining herself some quick popularity, except for a small number.
"Ugh...that girl. Can't stand that liar. Maybe I should cut school just to get away from her." Achilles said.
"I'm so sorry about her, Achilles. Lila's always been like this, sneaking her way into people's hearts with her lies. And she's really good at it, because everyone believes everything she says." Marinette said.
"Why are you apologizing? This had nothing to do with you." Achilles said.
"She's stealing my friends away, Achilles." Marinette said. "I know it's none of your business because you wanna be alone, but I need someone to talk to about this that doesn't believe her."
"Yeah….I'm walking away...like right now." he said slinking away from her.
"Oh…" Marinette said as she ran right into the bathroom to vent her frustrations.
"Some kids. Then again, I'm her age too. Maybe I shouldn't have been so…" Achilles said as he saw an Akuma flying into the school. "Oh that can't be a good sign."
He quickly ran back into the building as he saw the Akuma flying up the stairs. He hurried until he saw Lila looking at it.
"Girl, you gotta get away from that. You do not want it to touch you." Achilles said before Lila smiled and sent the Akuma into her earring. "And of course you're a psycho chick. Right." he said reaching for his sword as it overcame her before she appeared as she usually did. "Huh?" he said before she ducked into the locker rooms. "Hey!" he said running after her.
He searched the locker room only to see Adrien leaving. "Huh? That's weird. Thought for sure she ran in here." he said.
As for Marinette, she was running across the school as she got in contact with the heroes as Ladybug. "Guys. I need a little help. Akuma loose in the school." she said.
"Understood. We'll get on it." David said as he sent a signal for a certain group to track them before turning to the group assembled. "You heard her, we've got ourselves a shapeshifter on the loose."
"How do you know it's a shapeshifter?" Scott asked.
"Because the target is Lila Rossi." David said.
"Wait, THAT Lila Rossi?" Sectonia asked.
"The one who pretended to be a hero AND made the scene with Ladybug killing Cat Noir during Heroes Day? Man, that girl is a psycho." Jexi said.
"That's putting it mildly. And it looks like she willingly accepted Hawk Moth's akuma. With her shapeshifting abilities, it's gonna be hard to track her down." David said.
"I'm getting more info. She's taken on Adrien's form." Tails said. "They're running across the city."
"That's not saying much." Scott said.
"Don't worry. That's why I called for backup." David said.
"Backup? Who would be so close to our location?" Lan said.
At the Eiffel Tower, Ladybug was busy keeping herself away from Lila aka Chameleon's lips as she tried to kiss her.
"Rider...Kick!" A voice called as Naga Rider appeared and kicked Chameleon back. "I'm here!" he said as Ajna and Simon ran up behind him.
"Need a hand?" Ajna said.
"Simon? Ajna? You...actually you came at a good time." Ladybug said.
"Yeah." Chameleon said before she kissed Naga Rider, taking his shape as the real one passed out.
"Naga Rider!" Ginseng called inside Ajna's head.
"Hah! With this form, I have all the power I need to take care of you, and your friends, Ladybug!" Chameleon said with Naga Rider's voice.
"Yeah...looks like...she can change into...anyone she kisses." Achilles said, catching up to them. "But...that might actually work in our favor."
"I think I get what you're saying, if we make her kiss an unmovable animal like an oyster or something, she'll be vulnerable." Simon said.
"Yeah...hey...think you can lure her over to the markets?" Achilles asked.
"You got it." Ajna said.
They battled against her as they soon took the fight over to the markets where she quickly pinned down Ladybug. "Have you now." she said puckering her lips before finding herself kissing an oyster.
"Nice kiss, fish lips." Achilles said as Chameleon changed into an oyster. He whistled a bit before getting a prying tool and opening the oyster to show the earring. He picked it up before dropping it and smashing it, releasing the Akuma.
"Ladybug, if you would." Simon said.
"Already doing it." Ladybug said capturing the akuma and purifying it. "Done and done."
"Another villain bites the dust." Ajna said as Naga Rider returned to her Inner Realm.
"Yeah. I don't care much for justice but it was worth showing up a stuck up snob." Achilles said.
"On that we can both agree on." Simon said.
"Yeah, though I doubt she'll remember this. But least now, she'll have a little less power over the people." Achilles said. "I can handle getting her back there."
Later back on the ship…
"Nice job there. Looks like the situation was resolved very quickly." Tails said.
"We came as soon as we got the call." Kor said.
"And good timing too. Any longer, and it would've been a disaster." Sachiko said.
"Well it's good to see all of you either way. After the tournament in Galar, Luke and his group decided to join with Cheetah and the Reformed Society." Ace said.
"Did they now? Well, I guess she's going to need all the help she can, considering what she's got going against her." Leopardmon said.
"Yes it's unfortunate, but it seemed like the best choice." Miriam said.
"Well, they seemed to get along great with you guys, so we figured that they'd pretty much stick with you." Lloyd said.
"In any case, welcome back aboard!" Eddy greeted.
"We're just joining for this little adventure. But it's still nice to be here again." Ajna said.
"Yeah, we still have Gardle to track down. Anna's working on trying to locate his castle." Aya said, holding a phone with a pink bunny themed case.
"But in any case, this place is nice for taking a break from those big adventures we're doing. Though, Hawk Moth and his cronies aren't exactly the paragons of relaxation themselves." David said.
"Just another day in the city of love." Al said.
"Yeah. but it's a city we all love." Hope said.
