Author's Note: Okay we're back. I'll let you guy know I've come up with a quirk for Lisa Lisa. It's not any of the suggestions. I actually came up with one on my own. Jury is still out on Deku getting One For All. First off I will say on that note if your only argument is he doesn't need it then your argument will be ignored. Nobody in the U.A. hero course needs it. Hell the person All Might was going to give it to if he didn't meet Deku when he did was Already the strongest student at the school and was stated to be the closest person to being the number 1 hero. Give examples of who DESERVES one for all if you seriously refuse to let him have it. Though this chapter might change your mind.

Chapter 3: Secret of the Birthmark

Two months have passed since Izuku first began his Hamon training. In that time the young man had gained some muscle definition, but nobody in his school noticed because everyone ignored him. He put the broken microwave oven he was carrying in the dumpster that Jonathan rented, and he sat down to take a moment's rest before the next part of the day's training began. The dumpster is full despite only five days passing since the trash company last picked it up.

Jonathan sat next to his student and instructed him on what was next. As per usual, the training was on Hamon control. Though this time instead of just walking on the water, Izuku would be sparring with Jonathan while standing on the water's surface. The rules were simple. All Izuku had to do in order to win was land three clean hits on Jonathan, but the old man would not fight back. He would only block and dodge. If Izuku lost concentration and fell into the water then he lost and would have to start over.

Izuku took his shirt off and set it on the bench. He figured he was going to mess up a few times, and he did not want to wear a soaking wet shirt. He stood opposite his master and walked on top of the water. Taking a deep breath, he slipped into the fighting stance Jonathan had taught him. Jonathan slipped into a purely defensive stance. At Jonathan's nod Izuku jumped into action.

Izuku charged at Jonathan and aimed a punch at Jonathan's head, but it was blocked. Izuku got back up and continued his assault. He lost concentration a number of times and fell into the water. The exchange went on for close to half an hour before Izuku got one clean punch on Jonathan's chest. The old man felt a sense of pride in his student before quickening his pace, but Izuku was determined to keep the momentum going.

The young boy channeled Hamon throughout his entire body in an attempt to keep up with his master. Although the water he was standing on became more unstable, his quickened pace allowed him to ignore it. After a few more minutes Izuku got his second clean hit in. Jonathan quickened his pace once again and kept putting more distance between him and Izuku. Izuku realized he would never land a blow at his current pace unless he somehow increased his range, so he decided to do something risky.

He threw a punch towards his master once again, but this time his arm appeared to lengthen. In reality what happened was Izuku dislocated his shoulder, elbow, and wrist joints while both dulling his sense of pain and healing himself with Hamon. Jonathan was still able to dodge despite the increased reach. He let out a small chuckle because his student already learned that technique without being told how it functioned. It took Izuku just over a minute to land the third strike by using this technique.

"That was impressive, Izuku. Not only did you clear that challenge much faster than I expected, but you also learned an advanced Hamon technique in the process." Jonathan said while both were still standing on the surface of the water.

"What do you mean by 'advanced technique?' I just took some risks that happened to work out."

"The technique you used is actually one of the first moves my master taught me. It's called the Zoom Punch."

"Zoom Punch? That's an interesting name. Well what's next up on the training list?"

"That spar was actually the last thing I had planned. Go grab your shirt and I'll treat you to some dinner. I know a good restaurant close by." Izuku nodded and ran to grab his dropped shirt. Jonathan followed close behind him and noticed something about the young boy. On Izuku's back in between his left shoulder blade and his neck was a small star shaped birthmark.

"Izuku what's that?" Jonathan asked, gesturing to the star.

"It's a birthmark. Most people think it's a tattoo when they first see it. Why do you ask?"

"That birthmark is what indicates a person has Joestar blood. Everyone in my family has it."

"Wait a minute. You have the same birthmark?"

"Indeed I do." Jonathan removed his shirt and turned his back towards Izuku. The exact same birthmark that Izuku had was present on Jonathan. "It's an undeniable sign you're part of my family."

"What? I'm related to you?"

"We'll talk about it over dinner. Though you being in the Joestar family explains you being quirkless."

Izuku agreed to his master's statement and left the beach after they both put their shirts back on. Neither said a word until they found the restaurant Jonathan mentioned. After a few minutes they reached an italian place called Zeppeli's. Jonathan told Izuku that the restaurant was created by the son of one of his old friends. The two found an empty table in the corner and sat down. The waitress took their drink orders and left.

"Okay I'm just going to ask. Do you know who your father is?" Jonathan asked the boy.

"No I don't. It has always been me and my mom. I've never met my father or even seen any pictures of him."

"Do you know anything about him at all? For example, do you know his name, or how he and your mother met?"

"I do know his name, but I do not know how he met my mom. She told me that his name is David Pendelton."

At that moment everything clicked into place for Jonathan. The old man gestured for Izuku to pause so he could speak. "My third son's name is David, and my wife's maiden name is Pendelton. Based on that we can assume that you are my grandson. The biggest issue here is, judging by your age, my son was already married at the time he was in a relationship with your mother."

Izuku was at a loss for words. It was not until their waitress arrived with their drinks that Izuku could speak. Although all he could say was his order. After the waitress left Izuku finally spoke up.

"What you said doesn't add up with what my mom has told me about her relationship with my father. She always told me she was in a happy relationship that just didn't work out."

"I suppose it makes sense that the relationship didn't work out when you consider that he was dating two women."

"You know everything makes sense now." Jonathan was about to ask what he meant when Izuku continued. "According to my mother, she was already pregnant with me before they broke up, but she didn't know at the time. About three months later, she finally worked up the courage to tell my father she was pregnant, but she saw that he was already with somebody else. I always thought that she didn't want to interfere with his new relationship. Now though I think she realized the situation ran off heartbroken."

"Well let's not dwell on these things. Our food is here." True to his word their meals had arrived, and they decided to put the conversation on hold. Jonathan ordered a plate of spaghetti and meatballs while Izuku ordered three slices pepperoni pizza. The two ate in silence until they finished eating. After Jonathan paid for the food and tipped the waitress, they left for Izuku's apartment.

Inko greeted the two with a smile. "Welcome back Izuku. A letter from Ochaco arrived today." She said holding the letter in question. Izuku excitedly took the letter from his mom and ran to his room before shutting the door without even taking his shoes off.

"Why is he so excited? Who is this Ochaco person?" Jonathan asked because he had never seen Izuku look that happy.

"Oh she's the daughter of one of my best friends. They were practically inseparable when they were really young." Inko answered welcoming Jonathan in.

"How come I've never met her then? Actually I don't think Izuku mentioned anything about her, or any of his other friends. He even told me has no friends at school." The old man questioned as he took a seat in the kitchen.

"Her parent's construction company had to change locations when they were seven, so she was forced to move to Mie prefecture." Inko answered a bit saddened while she prepared tea. "Would you like some tea Jonathan?"

"Yes I would. Black with a bit of milk please." Inko nodded as she made his drink. "That must have been hard on him. He told me he doesn't have any friends at school, and now I learn that his best friend lives so far away. It makes all the happier that I ran into him when I did."

"Oh it was hard on him. He stayed in his room and cried for three days straight. Those letters are the only way they have of keeping in touch. She was the only person his age not to judge him for being quirkless. Before you she was the only person to encourage him to be a hero. I feel so ashamed that I never encouraged him myself. I just never said he couldn't be a hero like everyone else." Inko smiled sadly as she handed Jonathan his drink.

Jonathan took a sip of his tea before he continued talking. The site of this giant of a man blowing on his tea and holding his cup with his pinky out was humorous to Inko. "Has he seen this girl recently."

"We were able to meet up about four months ago, and the last time before that it was eight months ago. Her parents and I try to meet as often as possible, but our jobs keep us too busy to do so. We are lucky if we meet up every four months." Inko said as Jonathan finished his tea.

"That's unfortunate, but at least he has one friend." Jonathan as he stood up. "Thank you for the tea, Inko. It was lovely. I had a nice time talking to you, but I really must be going now. Tell Izuku to take the next two days off so he can rest. I'd like you to come with him for his next training day."

"I'll be sure to tell him after he finishes writing his return letter. It was nice talking to you. Come back soon you're welcome here any time."

Jonathan said goodbye as he left. Once he was a ways away he pulled out his phone.

Three Days Later

Inko and Izuku arrived at the beach after Izuku finished school. They saw Jonathan standing next to two unfamiliar men. The younger of the two had messy brown hair, wore a pair of black glasses, and had a beard. The older appeared to be in his early seventies and had short blonde hair. The man's most distinguishing feature was the scar running down the left side of his nose to his left cheek.

The mother and son duo approached the three men, and Inko immediately recognized the younger of the two men. She hugged him and began crying into his chest. "David! I never thought I'd see you again. There's someone I need you to meet." She pulled away from the now identified David and gestured towards Izuku.

"Is that you, Inko? What are you doing here?" David questioned.

"Mom, why are you hugging that man?" Izuku asked, thinking he already knew the answer. David was having similar thoughts.

"Izuku, this is your father." Jonathan's face was in palm with his suspicions confirmed. David was at a loss for words and was slowly trying to sneak away.

Jonathan grabbed David and the old man next to him helped hold David in place. "Oh no you don't. You are not getting away from this. You need to explain yourself, Son." Inko was surprised to hear Jonathan call her ex "Son."

"Okay I'll explain. Just let me go Speedwagon. My arm is already starting to burn." David said before the two men released him.

"Alright, now that it's settled that he won't run away, I feel like introductions are in order. My name is Robert E. O. Speedwagon." The scarred man introduced himself while removing his hat.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya, and this is my mom Inko."

"So, you're Izuku. Jonathan has told me a lot about you. To think someone as young as you is learning Hamon." Speedwagon said with a slight chuckle.

"I'm David Joestar. Although, you may know me better by the name David Pendelton. At least Inko would."

"Why would you lie to me about your last name David?" Inko asked, hoping for a different answer than what she was thinking.

"Inko, I'm sorry. I wasn't honest with you when we were together." He took a deep breath before continuing. "I was married the entire time. That's why I lied about my last name. I didn't want you to find out I was married."

"Cheating on your wife while you were on a business trip to Japan is bad enough, but you also betrayed your daughter. What hurts them even worse is, based on what both you and Izuku have told me, this wasn't just some one night thing." Jonathan said, growing more disappointed with his son.

"You have a daughter?" Inko asked.

"I have a sister?" Izuku asked, mirroring his mother's shock.

"Inko my feelings for you when we were together were genuine. I really did care about you."

"So you only broke up with me because you were already married? I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or worse." Everyone besides David and Inko stopped talking while the conversation went on.

"I'm truly sorry for all of this. Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant? I was still in Japan for another few more months. I may not have been able to stay and take care of you and Izuku, but I would've paid child support."

"I was going to tell you when I was three months pregnant, but I saw you with another woman. I was heartbroken. I thought you had already moved on, so I ran away in tears."

"You must have seen me and my wife. Once again, I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you like that."

"Do your wife and daughter know about me, David?"

"I told my wife a year later. She forgave me but not easily. We were able to work through it eventually. We were close to getting a divorce a few times over the years. Sadly she passed away four years ago."

"Oh my gosh, David. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up sad memories."

"It's alright. It still hurts, but it has gotten easier. My therapist told me I should move on by seeing other people."

"It's funny you mention that, David. I'm single, and I know a nice restaurant nearby. Maybe we can catch up." After Inko finished talking, she and David left the beach.

"What just happened?" Izuku asked in confusion.

"I think your parents just got back together after thirteen years." Jonathan said with a slight chuckle.

"Wait… What? Is that why you brought him here?" Izuku said in shock.

"Partially. He was getting pretty depressed as of late. The death of his wife hit him hard, and I figured rekindling an old flame would be better for him than trying to find somebody new. Although, the main reason I brought him was to confirm if he was your father one way or another."

"Okay. Then why is Mr. Speedwagon here?"

"Just Speedwagon is fine young man." He said putting his hat back on.

"I called him to get David here as soon as possible." Izuku was about to ask what Jonathan meant before he continued. "Speedwagon here is the head of a multi-billion dollar global company. If I ever need to track somebody down or even just call in a private plain, he's the first person I call."

"That's right kiddo Jonathan and I go way back. In fact I started my company to aid Jonathan and his family after they lost their wealth."

"Okay then. Did you bring my sister along with him? I want to meet her."

"Melissa? No, she was busy studying. She's planning on attending U.A. next year in the support course."

"Support? Couldn't she use Hamon to get into the hero course?"

"She could, but she never had much desire to become a hero. Her father designs hero costumes for a living, and she was inspired by him. Both know how to use Hamon quite well though. Alright Izuku, that's enough stalling. It's still a training day."

"Yes sir. Is Speedwagon going to help with training today?"

"He will, but not for the clean up or your Hamon control. Speedwagon never had the potential for Hamon, but he's an expert martial artist and has a pretty useful quirk."

"What is his quirk?" Izuku asked. His notebook seemed to materialize in his hands. Which confused the adults.

"My quirk is called Heated Chest. Basically my abs and pecs are hotter than the rest of my body. I can regulate the temperature somewhat. I can raise the heat high enough to give someone first degree burns." Speedwagon explained as Izuku enthusiastically wrote everything down. Izuku ran off to start his training.

To Be Continued

That's right Deku is a Joestar in this story and I'm pretty sure everyone realized the childhood friend of Deku was Uraraka. For those wondering yes that is David Shield but is the youngest child of Jonathan Joestar in this story.
