The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

After a couple more days, Frieza and Angel were finally getting closer to finding these beings known as the Zeniths. Every now and then, their ki signatures would fluctuate which was quite strange. But the man they've encountered a few days prior said, they were great at masking or concealing their ki. As long as they knew they were headed in the right direction they were fine. These beings seemed to be traveling east.

Since their time at the waterfall, things have changed. Angel never would've imagined the one revered as the universe's most evil emperor, would have this other side of him. A side that came out more frequently when he was around her. Within her time spent with Frieza, she feels that she has changed as well. For so long, she didn't want anything to do with the tyrant. Because she thought him crazy, unstable, and murderous. But it seems like she hardly sees that side of him anymore. I guess the truth will come out when they reach the Zenith people.

Frieza swears he won't hurt them when they find them. She can only hope he's being honest with her just this once. Otherwise, Angel may as well be heartbroken again. Something she's not sure she will be able to handle a second time around. Not only that, but the power from the Daigon Sphere was very strong now. So Angel was right to assume that these people may have the sphere with them. Hopefully, when she shares her story with them, they will allow her to use it or have it. Question is, how will Frieza react when he notices they have the sphere?

She needs to keep her nerves in check. Because if there is one thing she noticed about Frieza. Is that he's good at picking up on how she feels or when something is bothering her. A part of her wants to tell him the truth. That she knew all along the Daigon Sphere is here and that these people seem to have it with them. Will he feel angry and betrayed? Or will he understand her reluctance in sharing this important bit of information?

"They are straight ahead, about a half a mile." Frieza stated.

"Any chance that you will allow me to do most of the talking when we reach them?" Angel asked.

He turned to her with a small smile. "Why? Don't trust what I have to say?"

She snorts. "Can you blame me?"

Frieza shakes his head. "No, I guess not. But there is something I've been meaning to ask you."

Angel tensed up a little. "Yeah, what?"

"You seem to be very nervous and restless as of late. What is it that your so worried about?" He asked, keeping his gaze on her.

Damn, now what can she tell him? The truth? Say she did, only to find out he's been using her all along. Angel will never forgive herself if anything happens to her universe or any others he might travel to with the sphere.

"Just have a lot on my mind, that's all. We've been stuck here for a little over half a year now. And finally, it looks like we may find away off this world." She says.

Hopefully, that was convincing enough and he will lay off anymore questions he may have had. Angel wasn't exactly the best at lying. Probably because she hated lying to people. But in this case, she keeps reminding herself that it's for a good reason. This is Frieza after all. At the same time though, why did she feel so lousy doing this to him. Her emotions must be getting the better of her.

"It's understandable, especially when we thought we were the only intelligent beings on this world for majority of our stay here. I may have picked up on these beings signatures from the start. But for the first few months, I was wondering if I were wrong. That we were just honing in on some large pack animals. But the way their ki would fluctuate in and out like a candle flame seemed strange.

That's not something a normal animal can do. The fact that someone can do that points to a higher being with intellect. This is why I thought it best we kept trailing the signatures. It was also our only chance in possibly finding a way off this world. Was hoping they were technologically advanced enough to have ships." He informed her.

"And if they don't? Have ships I mean. Then what do we do?" She asked him.

Frieza gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, we will find a way." He was hesitant for what he was about to say next. "I...can probably get us both off this planet. But I wasn't sure if that will work. You see, I can survive in space. I could've left here quite sometime ago. But I didn't because I still needed you and I doubt you could survive in the vacuum of space like myself. Plus, I'm not sure how long it will take us to fly all the way back to earth or one of my worlds."

Angel sighs. "I still don't understand why you don't power up to the max. At least then, maybe Goku could pick up on it and use his instant transmission to get here."

"I told you, I don't need any conflicts with those monkeys right now. Odds are they will try to fight me to the death again after they found out my plan." He told her.

She wanted to say more. But they were almost right over the Zeniths down below. They looked at each other and then started heading down towards the ground. Once they landed, they looked around. Only to be quite shocked when they didn't see anyone around. They can still sense the ki energy around them. Though it suddenly grew quite faint once they touched down. But Frieza and Angel just knew, that they were still there.

"Hello? Please, we mean no harm. We just need help." Angel said, while looking around.

"Guess they rather hide." He told her, giving her a sideways glance.

But she didn't listen. Because right now her whole body felt like it was vibrating. The Daigon Sphere was right in her reach. She can just feel it. Angel didn't need to see it, to know which direction it was. She started following it's strange mystical aura. It lead her to some thick brush to her right. Angel started pushing some bushes aside as she moved forward.

"Angel, where are you going?" Frieza asked.

She didn't answer him and continued forward. She was getting closer now. It was like that game her, Jack, and their friends use to play; 'Hot or Cold'. And right now she was getting warmer. Frieza called out to her again and began to follow her. Angel continued her trek through the brush for the next several minutes. While Frieza followed close behind. He asked her again where she was headed. All she told him, was that she knew where she was going.

Finally, they came to a descent size opening in the woods. At first glance, it looked like nothing was here. So it was surprising when Angel bumped into something hard in her way. Whatever she hit, it started to materialize right in front of her eyes. Angel took a couple steps back with a gasp. Some sort of metallic structure now stood before them. It was odd in shape. Kind of reminded her of a monument. like the kind you would see in the middle of a park somewhere.

The signal from the sphere was at an all time high now and it was coming from this metallic looking monument. Something was telling her it was hidden inside. She went to touch the metallic surface when they heard someone shout something in a strange language. Angel reared back to look around. While Frieza looked around, prepared to fight.

Right before their eyes, a being suddenly materialized in front of them. It was quite strange in appearance. They were humanoid in appearance with translucent skin. The skin was practically see through and distorting the images behind it when you look through the being. It had oval shaped glowing yellow eyes and appeared to be around six and a half to seven feet tall.

"Please, we mean no harm. We just really need some help." She said, again to the newcomer.

After Angel said that, more of the same beings began to materialize. There were a lot of them, and Angel and Frieza found themselves surrounded by these people who have the ability to blend in with their background. They were all different heights with some being tall, medium, and short. The first one she talked to stepped forward until he was standing in front of her about five feet away.

"Who are you? How did you get here?" He asked, at least it sounded like a 'He'.

"My name is Angel. My friend here and myself crashed our ship here months ago. We've been stuck on this world ever since. This whole time we've been looking for a way off it. By any chance can you help us?" She asked the strange being.

"Sure we can help." Came another male voice from their far left.

Angel and Frieza look to the new voice. The camouflaged beings parted and to their shock a rather human looking young man came out from the woods and approached them. He gave them a friendly smile. Then turned back to the being in front of them.

"It's ok, she's like me. A Kandusai Descendant." He said.

"What?!" Both Angel and Frieza said at the same time, clearly stunned.

The man then reached out his hand. "Hi, my name is Koji." He said with a fairly thick English Accent. Clearly English wasn't his first language and probably wasn't spoken much here. Because the camouflaged man had a thick accent too.

Angel reached out to shake his hand. "I'm Angel, sorry but how did you know I was a Kandusai?"

He gave her a knowing smile. "It's not difficult to recognize one of your own. You emit the same kind of energy I do."

Frieza finally spoke up. "So, your ancestor found their way to this planet then."

When Koji shifted his attention to Frieza his gaze darkened.

"Yes, and why are you here? Have you taken her hostage? My ancestor past down enough horrific stories of the Arcosian Race and the atrocities they committed." He said.

Frieza opened his mouth to speak. But Angel beat him to it.

"No, he hasn't taken me hostage. We've been traveling together. He's not a threat, we both just want the same thing. To leave this world and go back home." She said.

Koji still leveled him with a glare. While Frieza shot one back, not liking this man at all. Angel could feel the tension in the air and wanted to quickly diffuse the situation.

"You say your a descendant. Yet, you look like my kind. Is there another here that looks like us? Parents of yours maybe?" She knows she was being a bit forward with her questions. But she didn't want this guy trying to attack Frieza and stir up a huge fight.

Koji turned back to her. "My Father was one of us. A descendant I mean. My Mother was one of this kind's race you see here, the Zeniths."

Angel blinked a few times. "But like I said, you look like me. Not transparent looking at all."

He chuckles. "That's because the Kandusai genetics are very dominant and don't get diluted down the line."

"Oh." Was all she can say while trying to get over her initial shock.

This just made him laugh more at her reaction. She smiled back. Despite holding a huge dislike for Frieza and his race. She can tell this young man was kind in nature. Had she not been around Frieza for so long, Angel would've found Koji to be very attractive. He was tanned, dark hair and eyes, with muscles.

"Anyways yes, we do have ships. They can get you back home if that is what you wish." Koji informed her.

She perked up from the god news.

"Yes, that be great." She said.

Then Angel remembered the Daigon Sphere. She wanted to ask Koji about that. She still needs it to get her back home to her universe. But will he allow her to use it or have it? Plus, it would mean that Frieza will find out about it. And odds are, he may not be happy that she kept it secret from him. By not telling him, she knew it was here all along. Angel was very hesitant and reluctant to ask. But it had to be done. Frieza can be angry at her all he likes. She misses her world, her home, her family, her friends, and her dog.

"Koji, I have something else I wish to ask." Angel said.

He nodded. "I figured you would. Since you can feel it's aura too."

Frieza furrowed his brow ridge in confusion. Then his eyes widened when he figured out what the young man meant.

"Please, when I mention that I wanted to go home. I meant back to earth in my universe. A Daigon Sphere brought me to this universe. And one of the other spheres can bring me back." She told him.

Normally the Zeniths would strongly object to anyone using or taking the sphere. They knew it's power and that it belongs solely to those of the Kandusai Race. But Angel was of that very race so they didn't see much of it as a problem. It was really Frieza they didn't trust. They maybe in the far reaches of the galaxy. But they knew who he was and what it is he does.

Koji approached the metallic monument. He placed his hand on the side of it. A flash in the shape of a rectangle lit up beneath his hand. then there was a light whirring sound, as the metal monument opened up like some strange puzzle. Sitting within it, was none other than a Daigon Sphere. Koji gently picked it up from it's mantle and pulled it out. Then he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Are you sure this is wise Koji. We are fine if you want to give it to the young woman. But it's the company she has that we don't trust." The Zenith Man said, with slight unease in his voice.

"It will be alright Niev. You heard her, she's trapped in this universe. Besides Father told me that it was our ancestor's request that we relinquish the Daigon Sphere to another Descendant in need. And not just a Descendant, but the Princess's. I have no doubt in my mind, that she is Princess Mila's Descendant. My ancestor was one of her Royal Guards.

He wanted to make sure that her line would survive no matter what. Besides, he was there when the Princess plugged in the coordinates on her ship, for a Planet Earth in another Universe. This isn't a coincidence. Angel is of Princess Mila's Bloodline. And just like my ancestor before. I feel it's my duty to help her descendant in any way I can." He stated.

Niev nodded and pulled his hand back. Koji gave him a slight bow and headed back to Angel. She gave him a small smile as tears came to her eyes. He was about to hand it to her. When Frieza pulled her back and shoved her aside. Just as a blast connected to the ground besides them. They were all thrown back a bit. Angel leaned up on her elbows and looked around. Frieza quickly made his way over to her.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yes, but who.." Angel was cut off by a familiar voice.

"I must commemorate you in finding the Daigon Sphere for me. I couldn't have done it without you two." Said a male voice.

Everyone's gaze below shot skywards. And there hovering above them with a sneer on his face was Rydge. He lowered himself down from the ground in front of them all. Once this happened, most of the Zenith faded away again into the background. This only left Frieza, Angel, Koji, and Niev present with Rydge. The Brench Man never dropped his wide smirk as he approached them.

"Now that we have the sphere, all I need is the key." Rydge said, before setting his coal black eyes on Angel.

Koji quickly turned to Niev and told him to go. This was too dangerous for him. The Zeniths had a somewhat decent battle power. But many were not actual fighters. And Koji could tell this was one dangerous individual that his brethren shouldn't get involved with. Niev was hesitant at first to leave Koji behind. But he nodded and left for the safety of the surrounding woods.

I know not everyone likes cliffhangers. But hey, they will always be in a story at some point. Plus, you know I had to put one big baddie in the story somewhere. So when I came up with Rydge, he turned out to be a good candidate for just that. How will Angel and Frieza handle this new threat? Because we all know he is not as he seems. But rather a powerful enemy. Until Next Time ;)
