The next chapter is posted! Enjoy :)

Things certainly seemed different since Angel has been back in her own reality. When she went knocking on her brother's door it all seem so surreal. When he answered it, you would've thought he'd seen a ghost. Angel couldn't stop the tears from flowing when Jack pulled her in for a hug, letting out a few tears himself. It was then Jamie came running over and gasped at seeing her sister in-law alive and well. And couldn't stop herself from flinging her arms around Angel.

Of course all three adults almost were bulldozed over when Finn ran headlong into them. All the while crying and whimpering trying to get to his owner. They pulled her in and shut the door behind her. Angel noticed it was warm outside. No surprise, she was gone for around eight months. So it was most likely June now.

The hardest part came when they asked her where had she been. And since she was alive all this time, why didn't she call? Angel really wanted to tell them the truth. But fear they would coax her into getting professional help. But then she remembers that she still has the Daigon Sphere. Maybe that could help convince them. It's a bit of a longshot, especially since her twin brother was always the skeptic in the family.

Angel tried contacting Whis through the sphere. There was silence for a moment. Than a very three dimensional picture appeared above the sphere. It was a closeup of Whis who was looking at her. It kind of reminded Angel of Face Time. Once he started talking, Jamie gave a surprised yelp and covered her mouth. While Jack sat there with his mouth hanging open slightly, as he watched the scene unfold in front of them. It was even more bazaar watching his twin sister converse with the being through the image.

Whis eyed the couple sitting across from Angel on the couch. He smiled and gave them a little wave. Then gave them a polite 'hello' and 'how are you?'. At first, neither of them answered. While Angel pursed her lips together trying not to laugh at them. Her brother was a bit harder to crack, still trying to find a logical explanation behind this phenomenon. It wasn't until Whis explained to him that this was all real. He even went further and explained how Angel was in fact in their universe for the better part of the last several months.

Good thing Whis was there to back her up and he was very convincing. Eventually, her brother and sister in-law had no choice but to believe that that was where she was. Jack asked her how she even got there to begin with. So Angel told him and Jamie everything from the beginning. From when she stumbled upon one of the spheres during her afternoon jog in the woods near her house. All the way through her time with the Z-Fighters and her adventure on an unknown world with none other than the evil emperor himself.

That was when Jack cut in.

"What no way! Are you alright!? Did he hurt you!?" He asked, being the protective brother as he is.

Angel smiled and shook her head. "No, on the contrary, he saved my life a few times."

Jack could only wonder about it all. After all, he too grew up watching the show along side his sister. And knew well enough that Frieza was evil and to never be trusted. Angel switched on to another topic, going back to her time with Goku and Company. Feeling that it would be hard explaining the dynamics between her and Frieza. And she definitely didn't want to mention to her brother how she in fact slept with the tyrant while traveling on the unknown world.

Another detail she left out was finding out she was apart of some extinct super human race. That maybe a little harder for Jack to swallow. Because since she is a Kandusai, that could only mean he is too. He'd probably laugh his ass off at her, if his twin sister did in fact tell him they were part of some human alien race. So Angel decided to save that conversation for another time.

One thing she really wanted to know, was how she still had her house. Jack told her he and Jamie kept up the monthly bills for her. They simply just didn't want to give up hope that Angel was alive. They even went over every few weeks to keep the place clean. In the end, she was grateful for all they done and was relieved that after all this time, she still had a house to go home to.

This was all a month ago. July was in full swing and getting hotter. It was easy getting her job back at Fish & Game. They always seem to have position openings there and not a enough people to fill them. But as much as she tries to go on with everything like it was before, it just wasn't the same. Things have just been so different after all she has been through.

She tried joining a gym, because she wanted to keep up with her training. But that ended in slight disaster, when she incidentally hit one of the heavy bags a little too hard. The chain that was holding the two-hundred pound bag up snapped and the bag went through the sheet rock wall behind it. Putting a large hole in the wall. People gaped at the scene and gave her stunned looks. It made her very uncomfortable. She went and apologized to the owner profusely. Surprisingly, he told her not to worry about it. And declined her offer to pay for the bag and the hole in the wall.

It's like since she came back, her power somehow became unlocked in her reality. Angel found it odd since it wasn't there at all before she found herself in the DBZ Universe. That's when she decided to play it safe. She went out and got her own heavy bag and hung it in her garage. That way she can practice privately away from gawking eyes. So far, it was working out just fine. Angel just needed to remind herself not to go all out on the bag. She didn't want to wreck it or her garage in any way.

Angel wiped the sweat off her brow. She had just completed another session on the punching bag. It was the last Saturday of the month. August was only a few days away. She sat on a bench and took a swig from her water bottle. Finn lay on a doggy bed in one of the corners of the spacious garage. Angel gave the large pooch a look and slowly shook her head.

"I think we need to lengthen your walks more, Finn. Your starting to get fat and lazy." She chided the large Rottie.

He just picked up his large head and perked his ears. His little stub started to wag. Angel smiled at this. She really missed the big mush of a dog while she was gone. And was eternally grateful to her brother and sister in-law taking care of him the whole time she was gone. Angel was also relieved when Finn started to tack on weight again. Apparently, he become rather depressed upon his owner's departure and hasn't eaten as much as he use to.

Luckily, that all changed as soon as Angel came back. The large Rottie was his old cheerful self again. Thinking about his health made her think of something else. Upon her last conversation with Whis, she asked him if someone other than herself can come with her during transportation. She was elated when he told her that she could.

"You just need to make sure you keep physical contact with them while traveling through realities. That would include holding one's hand or putting a hand on their shoulder or vice versa." The tall, blue man informed her.

She asked, because she was thinking about taking her brother, sister in-law, and dog with her at some point. But when Angel inquired about it with Jack, he wasn't going for it. He just didn't like the idea of traveling through different realities. Jack also didn't like the idea of her doing it either. His concerns were the interruptions it would cause going to and from places your not meant to be. Even when Angel assured him it was safe, he still wouldn't budge.

Probably, because he also had a lot to deal with at the moment. He did inform his sister, that Jamie was expecting. They found out about it in late May. Angel was excited at hearing the news. As were their parents. To top it all off, the couple found out they were having twins! Who'd have thought her twin brother would be a father to another pair of twins himself one day.

Angel poked fun at him when they found out after the ultrasound. Stating if they were anything like them growing up, than he better be prepared. She told him to lock up the pots and pans. And also to be sure to hide the candy where they can't get it. Then she went as far as saying; she will get them the noisiest toys she can find for their Birthday and Christmas. Of course, Jamie poked her shoulder and said, 'don't you dare'.

She was happy for her brother and Jamie, she really was. But at the same time, Angel was really missing someone deeply. The one she has missed most since she been back, Frieza. She'd been wanting to see him through the sphere to see how he was doing. But for some reason, she was having a hard time getting herself to do it. Perhaps seeing him will only make her sadness worse. Well, they always did say the longer your away, the heart grows fonder. It could explain why some nights she found herself crying herself to sleep.

Now here she was, eyeing the Daigon Sphere on the coffee table in front of her. Angel anxiously twirled a lock of her hair. Why was she so nervous? She was only going to check up on him. Perhaps she was worried he wasn't fairing all that well. She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed in frustration. Who was she kidding. He was Frieza after all. She has no doubt he most likely went back to terrorizing planets with his soldiers.

"Fuck it." She said, and went to pick up the sphere.

But before Angel could retrieve it. There was a knock on her door. She stood up and eyed the door, wondering who could it be. it couldn't have been any of her friends. They would call or text her to let her know they were coming. Jack and Jamie had a spare key and would just let themselves in. Same with her parents. She approached the door and opened it to see who it was. Angel gasped slightly when she saw who was standing there.

"Steve? What the hell are you doing here?" She snapped at her Ex.

He just gave her a cocky smirk. "Well, hello to you too, Angel Face."

Angel cocked a brow. "I see your lips moving, but no sound has yet to come out." She retorted.

The man sighed and rubbed a hand through his thick black hair.

"I came to apologize." He told her.

There was a moment of silence. Then he became quite confused when Angel started to laugh. It wasn't a short bark of a laugh either. It was a drawn out laugh. As if she couldn't believe what he just said.

"Are you fucking kidding!?" Angel said, when she got her laughter under control and wiped a tear from her eye.

He pursed his lips. "I'm not joking, Angel. I'm being serious. I know what I did was wrong and that I really hurt you. But I wanted you to know that it is over."

"Good for you, Steve. You want a goddamn medal or something?" She asked.

"No, I just want to know that you forgive me. I'm ready to come back and start anew with you again. Just like before. We had three amazing years together. And I don't wish to throw all that away, due to some minor inconveniences." He told her.

Angel clenched her fists, clearly pissed.

"Minor inconveniences!? Are you fucking kidding me right now, Steve!? How in the hell is you not being able to keep your dick in your pants considered an inconvenience! How easily you forget, that I walked in on you, balls deep in that bitch! And you think you can just stroll back here and act like all you did was accidently walk in on some other woman changing!? You can fucking forget it, Steve!" She shouted.

Angel went to slam the door in his face. But he put up his hand to stop the door from closing all the way.

"Don't, don't you dare just shut me out of your life like this. What I did was a horrendous mistake. I knew it as soon as it occurred. It's something I still feel really bad about to this day. I really want to make it up to you, Angel. Please, let me in so we can talk about it." He pressed.

Angel shook her head with a sigh.

"Steve, you always did have a problem with eyeing other women. And it's not so much you made a mistake. You just don't want to admit that you were caught in the act. I get that over the years, work had always been an obstacle between us. Which meant not much alone time between us. Especially, with crazy hours and different schedules. But that doesn't give you the green light to go fuck someone else at your convenience because I wasn't around enough.

You could have been responsible and just break it off with me, if you were not happy with how our relationship was going. Instead, you went the way of a total douchebag and cheated. What's worse, is you did it with someone I knew very well. You truly have no idea how much that hurt. And it is something that truly can't be fixed. After that, I can never trust you again. It's like they say, a cheater will always cheat. With that all said and done, I want you to leave." She told him.

But instead of leaving, he shook his head and pushed his way in. The action has brought attention to Finn. Who sauntered over with a low menacing growl. Angel always found it funny. Finn loved people in general. But for some reason, he never truly liked Steve. Must be another canine sixth sense thing. He probably could see how much of a scumbag Steve was before anyone else.

Angel put her hand down and told Finn to 'Stay'. The large Rottie did, albeit reluctantly. But kept his eyes on Steve the entire time, waiting for him to try something. But the petite woman held her ground. Completely unintimidated by the taller man before her, who was looking down at her with a scowl.

"Please, don't act like you weren't with someone else. How else would you explain leaving for eight months, before suddenly turning up again? You were out and about with some other guy weren't you?" He grounded out.

Angel crossed her arms. "Even if I were, that's none of your goddamn business. You cheated on me remember. That officially puts us as over; then and there. So what I do in my private life is none of your concern, Steve."

He scoffs. "It is my concern. Your my girl. And besides, I doubt he could make you feel as good as I do." He ended by trying to grab her waist.

But Angel took a step back out of reach.

"Steve, get the fuck out of my house and get a life. And for the record, he's better than you could ever be." She paused for a moment and smirked, deciding to mess with him a little. By bringing up the one thing that pissed him off the most. "He's 'bigger' than you too, so he can actually hit all the right spots." She spat.

She saw fire blaze in those brown eyes as he took another step forward.

"Really? Why don't we amend that and take this to the bedroom then. And I'll personally show you what you been missing out on." He threatened.

Angel narrowed her eyes and grit her teeth.

"Get Out." She snapped.

"You didn't say please." Then he lunged at her, trying to kiss her.

Everything happened at once. Finn lunged at Steve with a snarl. Reflex kicked in, Angel side stepped and grabbed his arm. Then quickly turned and flipped him onto his back. He landed with an 'Oomph!' and hissed as the wind was knocked out of him. But she didn't stop there. Angel moved one of her hands up to his wrist and started to bend it. Causing him to grit his teeth from the pain and pressure. Finn halted in his tracks and stood there watching.

"Last warning, Steve. Get out, before I call the cops." She told him.

"What the hell is your problem!? Let go of me!" He yelled.

"Are you going to get your Abercrombie Ass out of here and never come back?" Angel asked.

"Yes! Now let go! It feels like your breaking my goddamn wrist!" He all but shouted.

She reluctantly let go and didn't bother to help him up. He stumbled to his feet and looked at her with a hint of surprise. Angel stood at the ready just in case and glared.

"What the hell you waiting for? A nice fruit basket to send you on your way? Out!" Angel snapped.

He rubbed his sore wrist and frowned.

"Your crazy, Angel. I don't know what happened to you these last several months. But your clearly not the same. You need help." He told her.

Steve turned on his heel and left. She went over, closed, and locked the door. Then she dropped back down onto the couch with an audible sigh. Angel rubbed her fingers against her temples. Finn, sensing her distress came over, sat down beside her leg and put his large head in her lap. She sat like this for a few minutes. Trying to calm her racing heart. While patting his head absentmindedly, she came to a decision.

Angel slowly picked up the Daigon Sphere. She held it in front of her and after a moment, asked it to show her Frieza. Not long after she said it, the ball glowed brighter and a 3-D Image popped up a couple feet from the sphere. Her heart stopped when she saw, sitting in a large chair, in a rather spacious room was Frieza. He appeared deep in thought, as he stared out into space. He seemed troubled by something, and Angel found herself wondering what it could be. He then looked up, making it seem like he was peering through the image right back at her.

Her heart began to ache and she found herself wanting to reach out to him. She noticed someone else entered the image to his left. To her surprise, it was the same little lime green alien she'd seen on the other ship. The one she accidently destroyed. But how was he still alive? Did he escape? He wasn't alone either, that little blue alien woman was there with him too. Angel could only think of one thing. They must have used the individual space pods to escape before the ship's untimely demise.

"My Lord, there seems to be a problem in sector seventeen. We request that you send more soldiers there to handle the problem." The little lime green alien said, his voice coming through the image clear as day.

Frieza didn't bother looking at his subordinate as he informed him of the issue. instead, the tyrant waved him off.

"Just send a small battalion over to settle the issue. Gather up some of our best elites for the mission." He ordered.

Kikono bowed, but didn't leave right away. It looked like he wanted to ask the galactic emperor something else. But didn't know how to go about asking it. That's when Frieza finally turned his gaze to the shorter alien.

"You are dismissed, leave." He demanded.

Kikono bowed and hastily left. But Berryblue remained behind. Frieza continued looking ahead. There was silence for a couple minutes, before the little blue alien woman spoke up.

"What has been troubling you, My Lord? You have been out of sorts now for the last couple months. Clearly something is bothering you." She stated.

The tyrant didn't say anything at first. Then finally spoke up.

"It's nothing, just have a lot on my mind as of late. Have you finished evaluating the new recruits that came in yet?" He asked, trying to change the topic.

Her eerie smile never left her face. "I have, most of which seem promising as soldiers for the force."

"Good." He said, dismissively.

Berryblue drifted closer to the tyrant.

"Your recent behavior has to do with that woman doesn't it? Clearly you haven't been the same since you left that planet. Perhaps, My Lord has taken quite a fancy to her more than he let's on." She inquired.

Frieza closes his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose.

"I'm in no mood for a lecture right now, Berryblue. Please, go and see if those new batch of scouters are finished. We need them up and ready, by no later than tomorrow morning." He informed her.

She bowed her head. "Yes, My Lord."

Berryblue floated over to the double doors and she left the room. When Frieza was finally alone, he looked back up through the image. Angel gazed right back, it's as almost he can see her just as she can see him. A somber look occupied his face.

"I know I said I would wait. But it's been a long while now. How much longer do you intend to keep me waiting, Angel? I've come to find myself missing you greatly as of late. I can only hope your fairing well, and will find your way back soon." He paused for a moment and closed his eyes. Before opening them again.

"If you decided never to return, I understand. Just...don't forget about me, Little Warrior Princess. I know I will never forget you." He said.

A couple tears left her eyes. And she made the image fade away. Angel wiped the tears away with her sleeves and looked out the window to her left. A small smile formed and she stood up. She made up her mind. She knows what she wants to do. Angel made a B-Line for her bedroom. Then went straight into her walk in closet and grabbed a large duffel bag.

Can only image what she has in mind. Guess we will soon find out, next chapter. Until Next Time ;)
