AN: I watched the New Op for FGO, and I literally cried at how far we've gone. Now I have to rethink on what enemy servants for the next Anomaly. Next Chapter is the Second Task, I'm going to use two Servant's Noble Phantasms. Enjoy the Chapter.
Ch 36 The Locket
Draco was in his room minding his own business when an owl tap n the window. Draco noticed it and wet over to the window to let the owl in the room. "Hello there, what letter did you brought in for me?" he asked the bird.
Draco took the letter and read it. His eyes widen as he went over to his desk and wrote a quick letter to Ritsuka. He took the letter that his mother sent and his and place it to his own letter to Ritsuka. He turns to the owl. "Thank you, you may go." The owl left through the window.
He walks to his own owl in his cage as he took him out. Draco straps the letter and his mother's letter to his owl. he walks to the window and opens it, "Go to the Brittan Outpost and deliver these two letters to Ritsuka Fujimaru." Draco told his bird.
The owl nodded as he took off to the Forbidden Forest. Draco hoped that no one will realize that it was his owl that was heading to the Forbidden Forest.
Somewhere in a vast Sea
Miyamoto Musashi, Medea, Okada Izo, Hōzōin Inshun, and Columbus rode the ruff waves heading to the location that their master has given them to retrieve an item of most importance.
Musashi stood at the bow of the ship looking ahead. She peers her eyes to see a cove with an entrance to a dark cave. "Columbus! Straight ahead, there's a cave entrance." She shouts to Santa Maria's captain.
Everyone look at the front and saw the cave. "Aye, Aye!" Columbus said as he put the ship on full throttle.
"Oi! Columbus take it easy with the gears!" Izo said as he held on for dear life.
"Nope, just keep on holding tight my friends!" Columbus said with his signature smile.
Medea held mouth with her hand. "I…I think I'm going to throw up," Medea said stumbling as she was trying to get to the edge of the ship.
"Lady Medea, try to see the positive side to this," Inshun said with a smile.
"And what positive outcome will describe this!?" Medea shouts at the monk.
"Well, doesn't remind you of your time with the Argonauts on the Argo?" The monk asked the Witch of Betrayal.
Medea's eye twitches as Inshun's words brought back memories of Jason. "Don't ever mention that name again." She said a bit threatening.
"Ohoho, I never saw the witch's dark side for a while," Izo said remembering that time when Jason was summoned.
Inshun inclines his head, "My deepest apologies, I didn't mean to-"
"Drop it, Lancer," Medea said wanting to move on.
"Oi, brace for impact!" Columbus said as his ship jumps mid-air as they enter the cave. The Servants held onto something as the ship crashes down as it sails smoothly.
"AHAHAHA! I love doing that!" Columbus laughs.
"Hey, Rider try to consider there some here who does not like being thrown around like some goddamn toy!" Izo scolds the explorer.
"Haha, my apologies. I'll remember next time." Columbus said as he saw an island.
"Columbus, there's a-
"A small island, right? I saw it on Musashi." He said as he set course to the island. "Setting course!" he said.
Once they arrived at the island as the Santa Maria docked on the rocky shore. Musashi went down first followed by Inshun and Izo, finally Medea. They look around and saw a stone basin right in the center of the small island.
"Medea, I got this ominous feeling from that basin over there," Musashi said.
Medea floated over to the stone basin and summoned her staff and use a spell to analyze the basin. "This has some dark magic imbued in the water and the item inside." She said.
"Can you disable the magic, Lady Medea?" Inshun asked the witch.
"Yes, my Noble Phantasm can disable any kind of magic." She said as she held out her hand as a magic circle appears before her.
"Magical providence, oh natural master of this world," a magic circle formed underneath the stone basin as violet lighting came down upon the structure.
"return all to its origins-"Medea appears with a dagger in her hand.
She thrust the dagger in the stone basin as it began to crack. "Rule breaker!"
Soon the whole structure began to crumble and the murky water dissolves in the air. Musashi dug through the rubble finding a silver locket with a snake-shaped as an S.
"This is too easy," Inshun said still feeling the ominous feeling they felt when they arrive on the small island.
"Agree, I st-" Izo senses something as he drew his katana and thrust it behind him.
They all look to see a skinned skeleton fall back at the stab wound it just received from the Assassin.
"What is that thing?" Musashi asked as bubbles emerge from the water as more of those things rose.
"Knew that this was too easy," Izo said as he slices another one in half.
Inshun summoned his lance as swung it to slash three of the creature that was about to attack him. "Nice try, I am fully aware of my surroundings." The Monk said as he thrust another one.
Medea senses dark magic working here as she brought down lighting shocking them. "Can't believe these still exist." She said as cannon fire was heard by Columbus.
"You know these things?" Izo said as he cut off the head of the creatures.
"Yes, they're called Inferi. dead bodies that a dark witch or wizards resurrected with their magic." Medea said as she spun her staff creating a vortex of fire around them,
Musashi slice one into three pieces as she moves on to the next one. After awhile things are getting hard as more of them keep on coming. "Damnit, we don't have the time to deal with them all." She said cutting another one.
"Agree, Musashi. The best course of action is retreating." Inshun said still fending off the Inferi.
Izo manages to bring down a few of them before he saw the Santa Mari is about to be overrun by those things. "If any of my failed assassinations taught me, best to retreat before the situation gets worse." He said as Columbus cut a few down of his ship.
"The Assassin is right, com' onboard this battle can't be a win," Columbus said as he cleared the plank for them to board.
"You heard the old man, get to it," Izo shouts at the team as they take down many Inferi but they keep on coming. Soon everyone was on the Santa Maria and Columbus took the plank to prevent any more of these creatures to get on board.
Musashi places the locket in her pocket as she held onto her katana. "Columbus let's get out of here!" the samurai said as the sails opened.
"Aye, Aye Saber!" Columbus said as he turns the wheel as the ship is about to leave the island.
"Medea, cover us!" Musashi said to the witch.
"Roger," The Caster summons multiple of magic circles as lighting was shot from them as it covers their escape.
Columbus manages to steer his ship to the exit of the cave. "Wahoo! We manage to escape that death trap."
"Agree, I'm guessing that someone places those Inferi as sentries to protect that locket," Inshun said as he walks to the female samurai. "Lady Musashi, may I see that locket?" he asked her.
Musashi took out the locket and handed over to the monk. "Here, Lord Inshun." The monk analyzes the locket sensing a dark presence within it.
"I believe this is what master wants us to retrieve," Inshun said as he handed it back to the Saber.
"Let's get back it back to Chaldea to get this analyzed," Medea said as she turns to Columbus nodding as he set course.
Chaldea Security Organization December 31, 2023
Ritsuka, Mashu, Hermione, and Ginny were at the Command room under Chaldeas waiting for Edison and Archimedes to finish some upgrades to the teleporter.
Hermione and Ginny stared at the huge future seeing technology as the globe spun slowly. "That is the biggest globe I've ever seen. And more detailed oriented, it even has tiny mountains." Hermione said.
"The biggest globe I've seen was at the astromancy tower, but this is way on top on the list," Ginny said.
They stare at it awhile until Hermione notices a blinking red dot on Scotland. "Hey Mashu, what's that red blinking red dot on Scotland?" She asked the former Demi-Servant.
Mashu looks at the blinking red dot. "Oh, you don't need to worry about that." Mashu smiles at them.
Ritsuka looks back at the two girls. "A threat in Scotland is coming, that threat we don't have any knowledge of."
"A threat? What kind of threat?" Ginny asked. "Is it…Voldemort?" She managed to say the name.
"No," Ritsuka answers her.
Hermione thought hard then realize what threat it might be. "Is it Avenger of the Gallows?"
"That's what we've believed, and Voldemort is just a puppet for the game." He said.
"We have to stop them! We have to-"
"Ginny-chan, relax we have been preparing for these types of situations," Mashu said. "Trust in us when we have it handle." She smiles.
Ginny was a bit skeptical of the whole thing but have this feeling that she should trust them.
Hermione has confidence in Mashu's words as she knows that this place has heroes who will do anything to protect the world from those who want to harm it.
"Master, we have recalibrated the teleporter so that only 2.5 percent of those who use it will experience less fainting," Archimedes said.
"Indeed, I have also tuned up both DC and AC conduits so we can send you anywhere in the world as long as you have a single from you," Edison said.
"Thank you, Casters." He said as the coffins rose from the ground under Chaldeas. When they first saw Edison, they were a bit scared but soon relaxed as he smiles at them.
"A shame that we have to leave," Ginny said looking around the Command Room.
"Ginny, we still have to attend school," Hermione said. "It's our duty as students."
"I know, I know Hermione." Ginny laughs causing Ritsuka and Mashu to chuckle.
"Well, I hope you two will come back soon," Pepe said as he walks up to them as Aśvatthāman was behind him.
"We will Peperoncino, this place is cool," Hermione said.
"Indeed hun," Pepe said as he places his hand on her shoulders. "Make sure you focus on your studies at Hogwarts and the most important thing, enjoy life to the fullest." He smiles.
The nodded as they went to the coffins and waved back at them.
Aśvatthāman smiled. "Take care and be strong." The Archer said to them before entering the coffins.

-ZZZ- ALL PROGRAMS CHECK…LOCATION SINGLE CONFIRM FROM CHALDEA…WELCOME DIRECTOR RITSUKA FUJIMARU, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR MASHU KYIERLIGHT, AND GUEST-ZZZ-
They got out of the coffins as Sigurd, Anne, and Mary greeted them. "Welcome back master." They said kneeling on one knee.
"Thank you, everyone." Ritsuka smiles. "Has anything happen when we were gone?" he asked.
Sigurd stood up. "Not that major master, we have two letters addressed to you by our informant's son." The dragon slayer said as he hands over the letters.
"I see," Ritsuka said opening the letters to read them. Ritsuka sighs as he places them back inside their envelopes.
"Senpai what do the letters say?" Mashu asked her boyfriend.
Ritsuka smiles back at Mashu. "It's nothing you should worry about Mashu." He said.
Mashu sense that he was lying to her but decides not to further it. "If you say so Senpai,"
"Um, we should get our stuff ready for school," Hermione said to them. "Let's go, Ginny."
"Uh, right." She said as they went to their rooms.
Ritsuka looks at his Servants. "You three should be with them." He said to the three Servants.
"Yes, master." They said as they follow their wards.
Ritsuka was in his office doing some paperwork when Musashi enters the room. He looks at the Saber and smiles. "How did the expedition go, Musashi?" Ritsuka asked.
Musashi took out a silver locket from her pocket and place it on his desk. "The situation was a bit tricky, but we manage to retrieve this locket inside a stone basin." She said.
Ritsuka took the locket feeling a dark presence from the locket. "I assume you felt the dark presence in this?" he asked the Traveler.
"Yes, you don't need to be a Magus or a Servant to know that this is imbued with dark magic," Musashi said as Ritsuka handed back to her.
"Whatever this thing is, it is similar to the ones that we've to have in the vault," Ritsuka said. "Take this back to Chaldea for analysis." He said to the Saber.
"Right away, Fujimaru," Musashi said waving back at him. "Oh, before I go how was your training with Chiron?" she looked back.
Ritsuka smiles. "I think I'm prepared for the task." He said with a smile.
January 3, 2024, 8:30 AM
Hermione and Ginny were in the lobby with the Chaldean Representatives and their bodyguards. "I'm going to miss this place," Ginny said looking around for the last time.
"Well, we do have the option to visit from time to time." Hermione smiles.
Ritsuka and Mashu walk down the Grand stairwell. "Well, this is goodbye for now," Ritsuka said.
"yes, but we can see each other again during the task," Hermione said.
"Right! I almost forgot about the Second task." Ginny said.
"Well whether or not you forgot I can count on you girls to cheer me on?" Ritsuka asked the Gryffindor girls.
"Yes," They both said as they laugh.
"Hate to interrupt this moment, but we need to get going before we're late on arrival," Holmes said.
"Always on the point aren't you Ruler?" Reines said to him.
"Indeed I am Ms. Archisorte." Holmes chuckles.
Gil sighs at the Ruler's personality. "I wonder why I bother to deal with you Ruler." He said to him.
"Maybe you like him, Caster," Anne said to the King of Heroes.
Gil blushed as he glared at the half of the Rider. "S-Shut up!"
"Rider, take your joking down a notch," Mary mutters.
"Fine," Anne rolled her eyes as she hugs the small girl.
"Well things will be interesting back at the dorms," Ginny said to Hermione as she agrees.
Soon they left the Outpost waving back at them. "We're off!" Holmes said as he waved back to their master as he waved back.
Hogwarts January 2, 2024, 9:10
Charles and Ron were sitting at the Gryffindor table enjoying their breakfast. The Professors and the Headmaster weren't there since they are preparing for classes.
Charles looked around noticing that Hermione and Ginny weren't there. He turns to Ron "Hey Ron do you know where Hermione or Ginny are?"
Ron stops stuffing food in his mouth and looks around the Great Hall. "No, probably they're having some sort of girl talk?" he wonder as the Great Hall doors open suddenly as everyone turns their heads to see Hermione and Ginny talking away wit the representatives of Chaldea.
They walk to the edge of the Gryffindor Table. they continue to speak as if they were friends.
"What the actual hell?" Charles said sneering at the two girls being friendly to them.
"What are you going to do Charles?" Ron asked looking at his sister speaking to the dark creatures that Harry Potter summoned.
Then Fred, George, and Neville walks over to them and sat with them. "(What the fuck!?)" Charles whispers as he stood up and walk over to them.
The Chaldeans look at Charles as he marches up to their table. "Oh, Charles how is your holiday?" Hermione asked.
"Don't change the subject! What the fuck are you doing with these dark creatures!?" He demanded her.
"Well, aren't we rude today?" Holmes said as he sips his tea.
"Shut up!" he yelled at the detective.
Hermione and Ginny stood up from the table. "Don't speak to Ruler like that, Charles!" Hermione said to him.
Charles was taken back at Hermione's sudden outburst. He regains his sense of self fast, "Why are you defending these dark-"
"Don't you dare finish that line, Charles you have no idea what deeds these people have done!" Ginny said to him. "You're just a spoiled brat who thinks he's above everyone else!"
"How dare-"
"That's quite enough,"
"mate, you are always getting your way,"
"It's getting annoying to listen."
The twins said to him. Charles was more shocked to see the Weasley twins standing up to him. "Can't you two se-"
"Charles, we've known each other for a long time." Neville started. "This is getting out of hand, a lot of people are tired of you spreading this nonsense about Ritsuka's Servants, as you can see they haven't done anything evil."
Charles clutches his fist getting angry by the second ready to punch the nearest person.
Hermione notices his clutched fist and brace for his attack. Charles looked up at them as he was about to punch Hermione when a hand stops him.
He looks shocked to see Ruler blocking his attack with an open hand. "I believe that is quite enough out of you," Holmes said to him.
"What's going on here!?" they all look at Professor McGonagall as she enters the Great Hall. She saw that Ruler was holding Charles's fist in his palms. "I demand what is going on!?" she demanded.
"Professor I-"
"Professor McGonagall, Charles here was about to punch Ms. Granger in the face and I happen to prevent that," Holmes said calmly.
The old Professor's eyes widen as she looks around the students in the hall. "Is this true?" she asked everyone.
Some remain silent not getting involved when Ginny steps up. "Yes, Professor. Charles just got up from where he was sitting and demanding to leave the Chaldeans." Ginny said.
"Ginny's right, Professor we were just minding our own business when he spat nonsense about them," Neville said to the Head of Gryffindor House.
Minerva looks around the Chaldean's side of the table as the students who sat there nodding. "Well then, Charles I am most disappointed in you." She stated. "As a Gryffindor, we must respect others even if they have questionable backgrounds, I have no choice but to place you in detention for the rest of the month."
"WHAT!" Charles exclaims.
"Professor, they started the whole thing!" Ron pointed at them.
"Mr. Weasley, unless you want to share the same punishment as Charles Potter then you better keep your mouth shut," McGonagall warned him as he sat back down. "Mr. Potter, you'll meet in my office every night for detention for at least an hour at seven on the dot. Do I make myself clear?" she looked at the Boy-Who-Lived.
"Crystal," He scoffs as he returns to his seat.
McGonagall looks at Charles as he returns to his seat. She turns to the Chaldeans "Upon the entire house of Gryffindor I apologies for what my lion has put you through."
"It's quite fine Professor, he'll learn his lesson soon," Holmes said.
Minerva sighs "I do hope so, the Headmaster is filling that boy with complete nonsense of being the chosen one that he made him into a spoiled child."
"Do give in Professor, do your best." Holmes encourages her.
"I appreciate the words of encouragement Ruler," she inclines her head as she left to prepare for class.
