2 Years Later...
"Daddy! Daddy! Look what I made!" Came the excited glee of a toddler.
Frieza has just landed right in front of their house, when his whirlwind of a two year old came dashing out. He smiled, caught her about the waist, and threw her up slightly. Earning a squeal from the tiny girl. On the way down she started giggling. The front door opened again to reveal Angel. While Finn ran past her towards Father and child. The child all but shoved a piece of white construction paper in her Daddy's face. He chuckled and pulled back to look at the piece of paper. It was a drawing of just about everyone they knew. All of which were squeezed into the picture. Of course, Lily, Angel, and Frieza were at the center of the picture. Surrounding them, were some of their closest friends. Frieza surprisingly recognized a few of the crude stick figures. Mainly by their hair. She pointed out Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Bulla, Gohan, Videl, Pan, ChiChi, and Goten. Plus finding the time to squeeze in what looked to be Whis and Lord Beerus.
"Do you like it?" Lily asked.
Frieza smiled and kissed her cheek.
"It's lovely, Darling. But I must ask? What's going on with Lord Beerus?" He asks.
He pointed to the destroyer, who was on the end of the group of people. Apparently, the destroyer god was on all fours instead of standing upright like everyone else. Frieza for some reason found it pretty comical. By the position, it looked like he was sniffing Whis's ass.
Lily gave him a funny look.
"What do you mean?" She asks, confusion written on her face.
"Why is he on all fours?" Frieza asked his daughter.
She blinked a few times. "Because he's a kitty cat. And kitties are on all fours, Duh!" She said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Frieza busted out laughing. Lily had her Mother's attitude to a 'T'. Something he always found downright cute and hilarious. Even Angel got a good laugh when she heard her daughter, while walking over to them. When she was close enough, Angel leaned in and kissed him. Frieza pulled her closer and kissed her back. That was when Lily made a disgusted face and tried to put her hand in front of their mouths, trying to get them to stop. They chuckled at her antics and eventually pulled away.
"Mommy, Daddy, that's yucky. Your not even doing it right." Lily exclaimed.
"Oh, then how is it suppose to go?" Angel asked, in a teasing voice.
Lily leaned in and kissed her Daddy's cheek, then pulled back.
"Like that." She stated.
Her Mom and Dad never grew tired of this little firecracker. Always putting a smile on their faces. Then Angel figured she'd humor the toddler.
"Oh, like this." Her mother said, then leaned in and placed a chaste kiss on Frieza's cheek.
He smiled and shook his head.
"You should know by now, Love. Two year olds know everything." The former emperor stated.
Lily looked down slightly. "No, there is still so much more to learn. I really don't know much about everything."
Her parents didn't seem to really agree though. Their little girl was very special. Forming her first words at eight months, learning how to walk a month and a half later. Just shy of her Second Birthday and she was dishing out sentences. They may not have been perfect or crystal clear. But still way more advanced then most kids her age. And to top it all off, already showing remarkable latent abilities. Though it shouldn't be all that surprising when you have two very powerful parents to begin with.
Frieza tucked a long white/gray lock of hair behind her ear.
"Believe us, My Love. You truly are very remarkable and special. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise." He told his child.
They made their way inside afterwards and prepared dinner. The whole time, Lily was asking her Father how training was. And apparently, didn't want any details left out. Frieza would've thought for sure, she planned out a whole list of questions before he came home. With how many she was firing off at him. Angel found it amusing and not so surprising. Both parents know their little girl has begun to show interest in Martial Arts.
Most of it started when she watched her parents spar a little in the backyard. Lily even watched on in wonder as her Daddy trained with Uncle Goku and Uncle Vegeta. And unknown to her parents, even spied on Trunks and Goten. That's when she came out and asked her parents when she gets to learn how to fight, like the big kids. She was a bit put off when they told her she can start when she turns three. A whole year away. Which seemed like an eternity when your a kid. Lucky for them, Lily doesn't stay disappointed long. She maybe smart and advanced for her age. But in many ways, still had the attention span of a toddler.
Frieza informed the tot of just about everything that took place during training. He also knew Angel wanted to hear what has been going on too. Since becoming a Mom, she hasn't been finding much time to train. Seeing as she had to be there to take care of Lily. But in the end, Angel was fine with it. Even when at times Frieza offered to watch Lily so Angel could go off and train with the others, she'd mostly decline.
Though it's been two years. Angel still doesn't feel all that comfortable letting Lily out of her sight. It pretty much has been that way, since they nearly lost her at birth. Frieza didn't blame her, he was a lot like Angel in that sense. When they brought her home the next morning after her birth. Frieza spent majority of his time awake at night. Watching his infant daughter in the bassinet next to the bed. Making sure she was still breathing. After that day, the tyrant understood then' how painful and scary it is to nearly lose what's most precious to you.
It's because of this, he didn't go back to training up until a month ago. Before then, he was a full time Dad. Frieza didn't mind the change in pace. If anything, he loved every moment of it, still does. He'd been called many things and been many things in his long life. But out of them all, he loved being a Dad the most. And he knew Angel loved being a Mom.
"So, do we know what our plans are for the weekend yet?" Frieza asked, while he had Lily on his lap.
Angel was sitting beside them on the love seat with her head on his shoulder. They were watching the Disney Movie, 'The Little Mermaid'. A Birthday present from her twin cousins, Diana and Daniel. The three of them were very close in age. Only a few months apart. Just like she promised, Angel was there. She told her twin brother Jack, that she wouldn't miss his twins birth, and she didn't.
Of course, Jack received quite a shock after seeing Frieza for the first time. But gushed over his new niece. He joked with his sister and said between all three babies, they were going to be trouble. So far, they have yet to see it. Though Lily did kind of see the twins as more as siblings; rather than cousins. And because Angel was close to her twin brother and sister in-law. They try to arrange as many playdates as possible. Angel was grateful everyday that she had the Daigon Sphere. It made living with the ones she loves a possibility.
"Yes, Jack and Jamie said they would like to stay for the weekend with their twins. Is that ok?" Angel asked.
Lily turned her attention from the t.v., eyes wide in excitement. Frieza just shrugged.
"Sure, I don't see why not." He said.
"Yay!" Lily yelled, then threw her tiny arms around her father then her mother.
"Ok, I went by there earlier today with Lily. And that's when I was able to ask them. I know it's last minute. But it was kind of to make up for the last couple visits we couldn't make." She told him.
"As I said, it's fine. This is why I usually have you do the weekend planning. Because I'm not so great at it. Are your parents coming too?" He asked.
Angel shook her head. "No, they are on vacation this week. Maybe next time."
The rest of the evening was full of games and laughter. But what they enjoyed most, was the early night hike they did around the woods. It was fun guessing what animals they could spot in the dark or what animals are making what sounds. Though they tend to mostly hear insects chirping at night. Lily got excited when she spotted a small cloud of bats flying over head during the last night hike they had. She couldn't wait to see if they spot anything tonight. Question is, will she stay awake this time around.
There were a couple times, Lily fell asleep on her Mom or Dad's shoulder near the tail end of the hike. Even though it was a big wooded area. They learned to navigate the general area around their house. They even hiked past Goku's home a few times. Frieza always thought the saiyan to be a rather nosy neighbor. Sometimes coming around at odd times asking to spar or even asking to borrow something that he didn't have at home.
It was a clear night, the dark sky was littered with clusters of stars and a large waning crescent moon. Even though they could see fairly well at night. Angel still always took a small flashlight with them. They were maybe about twenty minutes into the hike. When they heard some rustling in a nearby bush on the side of the path. As Angel shined her light on it. Something pretty fat and furry scurried out across the path.
"Look! It's a racoon!" Lily said, excitedly as she pointed out the little mammal that looked like a bandit.
Good thing Frieza had ahold of the tot's hand. Otherwise she maybe inclined to run after the animal. During the entire hike, crickets; along with other insects and critters let out a chorus of sounds all throughout the forest. To the small family, it was rather soothing and peaceful. Just another indication that they preferred the sounds and view of the woods over the hustle of the nearby city.
About a half hour in to the hike. Lily started rubbing her eyes. Something that wasn't missed by either parent. It's when she let out a yawn, that Frieza picked her up and carried her. She tried to stay awake as long as she could. But when her eyelids started to droop, she rested her head down on her Daddy's shoulder. By the time they made it back to the house about seven minutes later. Lily was fast asleep.
They carried her into her bedroom. Angel pulled down the covers and Frieza gently laid her down. He pushed her doll closer to her as Angel pulled the light covers back up. They kissed her cheek and turned on the night light before leaving the room. Always the protector, Finn stayed behind like he usually did in Lily's Room. Ever since they brought Lily home after her birth. Finn, was excited over his new human baby sister. And quickly took on the roll of being her personal body guard.
It was still not all that late. The clock in the living room read 9:32p.m. Too early for the couple to retire to their room. So they plopped down on the couch and Angel popped in one of her many DVDs she brought from home. They settled on, 'The Shining'. Frieza recalls seeing it at least once before with Angel in the past. It was one of the very few horror movies he actually liked.
Probably because most of the other ones seemed too fake for him. Whereas someone going insane being isolated up in a snowy mountainous range seemed more plausible and practical. In other words, he liked the ones where there was a distinct possibility they could happen. Gave it a more realistic feel. Minus the blood filled elevators of course. Though he wasn't too quick to deny the existence of spirits. Being on both the alive and dead spectrum multiple times. He knew something like that could be a possibility.
About halfway through it. Frieza started to become a little handsy. Not that Angel didn't mind. They were laying on the couch. Frieza laying behind her with an arm over her midsection. He worked his hand under her loose shirt and placed it on her warm stomach. From there, he slowly dragged it up to right below one of her bra clad breast. Then cupped the one breast, before pulling the top of it down.

They sat like that for another few minutes. Until they can trust themselves to get up without falling. Once they were able to stand, Angel wasn't on her feet for very long. Because Frieza scooped her up and began carrying her to their bedroom. Angel chuckled the whole way, until he gently laid her down on the bed. She moved up slightly to pull down the covers for them.
He made his way to the other side and joined her in bed. Angel laid her head on the side of his chest and lazily threw an arm over his waist. Frieza wrapped his arms around her and pulled Angel in close. She tilted her head up and leaned in for a kiss. He met her halfway and closed the distance. It was a slow, sensual kiss this time. But still had as much love in it as any of their deep passionate ones.
"I Love You." She said, a little breathless.
"I Love You Too." He responded back.
Angel smiled. "So, is it just as you expected it to be?"
He smiled back and caressed her cheek.
"I couldn't be happier." He told her.
And she knew he meant it. Reflecting on these last three years. Frieza was just as happy with this outcome of life. Just as much as Angel was. They had more than they could every asked for. As unexpected as they were in the past. The couple ended up reaching all expectations and more.
