Chapter 6

Hurt

Draco walked closer to me, and leaned in. 'Bloody hell! He's trying to kiss me!' The thought hit me and I quickly pushed him away. "What's wrong? I thought you liked me too!" Draco looked hurt. "I'm sorry! I-I-I'm just not ready yet!" And with these words I turned around and ran back to my dorm.

I woke up at 7 am. I saw Cho also getting up and stretching her arms out. She shot a quick glance at me, as I smiled. This gesture made her look down at her lap. She looked hurt, or rather...sorry. "Morning, Cho!" I said warmly. "Morning Y/n!" Cho quietly replied. "Listen, Y/n, I'm sorry! I'm very, very sorry! I wasn't thinking straight. You can be friends with Malfoy, if you want to! I'll respect your decision, and support you." She broke down. "It's okay, Cho. I understand. Besides, I don't want to be friends with him... I think..." I trailed off, but smiled at her. Cho hurried out of her bed at engulfed me in a giant hug. I giggled and hugged her back. "Alright, we need to get ready, breakfast starts soon." We both got ready, and walked to breakfast together. While walking and laughing trough the halls, we ran into Draco and his goons. They were about hex Neville Longbottom. "What are you doing?!" I yelled and walked in front of Neville. "Move!" One of his friends- Goyle, I think- ordered me. "Neville, go to breakfast!" I patted the boy's shoulder, "And you all-explain!" I glared at Draco. "What did you do that for? He disrespected us! We had teach him a lesson." He glared back at me. "And what did he do?!" I was getting angrier by the second. "He bumped into me! That's no way to treat your superiors!" Draco smirked. "That is not a good enough reason to just hex someone! Who do you think you are?!" I lost temper completely. "I'm a Malfoy!" He yelled back. "Let me guess- your father will hear about this?!" I mocked. "He doesn't need to hear about a filthy blood-traitor!" Malfoy turned around and left. I could feel tears swelling up in my eyes. Cho saw this too and ran over to me. She threw an arm over my shoulder. "It's alright, N/n. You're not a blood-traitor!" She reassuringly whispered. I mumbled a quiet 'Thank you' and we continued our way to the great hall. Once we got there, Hermione -who probably saw the tears in my eyes- ran over to us, and also hugged me. "What happened?" She sounded concerned. "Malfoy happened." Cho answered, letting go of my shoulder. "That bloody git!" Hermione cursed under her breath. I chuckled a bit, and went to go sit down at my table. I looked around the hall. Harry shot a worried glance at me, and I responded with a small smile. For breakfast I grabbed a piece of toast, and some pudding. There was barely any pudding left, since Luna loved it so much. I noticed her bare feet. 'Not again!' I frowned. "Luna, What happened to your shoes? Who took the this time?" I sympathetically asked. "I suspect the nargles. But it could have been one of my roommates." She smiled softly. I was getting very annoyed at everyone stealing Luna's stuff. The poor girl had to walk around the school with bare feet. "This has got to stop!" I rolled my eyes. I picked up a piece of toast and quietly ate it. Then I hurried off to my first class, which just happened to be potions, with the Slytherins. I just hoped I wouldn't have to talk to any of them. As I walked into the class, and sat down in the back of the class, Malfoy came in. He stood in the doorway, as I looked down, at the table. "Hey, Y/n-" he started, but I cut him off, "It's Hallow to you." I coldly informed him. "But, I thought you forgave me," Malfoy sounded confused and sad. "Well, I did. I forgave you the 2 years of bullying. But what I haven't forgiven you, is the attack of Neville, and the...you know what you called me." I almost teared up again. "Listen, I didn't mean to!" He tried to explain, but had had enough of his bullshit. "I DON'T FUCKING CARE!" I yelled at him, "Leave me alone!" Malfoy went to his usual spot-in the front of the class, as the rest of the students came in. After Potions, we had DADA. The lesson was with the Hufflepuffs. We were learning about boggarts, I knew because Hermione had told me about the lesson, the Gryffindors had with the Slytherins. Professor Lupin lead into a room, with an old cabinet in it. I pulled out my stuff, but then I realised there weren't any tables or chairs. Before I could ask a question Professor Lupin spoke. "Alright class, settle down! Now, today we will be having a practical lesson, so you can put your books away." Lupin announced. I put my book, parchment and quill away. "Alright, can any of you tell me what is inside this cabinet?" He asked. I raised my hand confidently. I raised my hand confidently. "Miss..." "Hallow, Sir!" I introduced myself. "Ah, yes! Well then, would you like to answer, miss Hallow?" "Yes, I would! Well, Inside the cabinet is a boggart, sir!" I answered, knowing I was correct. "Correct! 10 points to Ravenclaw! Can anyone tell me what a boggart looks like?" Lupin asked, and the room went quiet. "Nobody knows."I answered without even raising my hand. "A boggart takes the shape of its victim's worst fear. That's what makes them so scary." "Yes, correct!" Lupin smiled. "A boggart is quite hard to destroy, but there is a simple charm to help us. Let's practice, without wands please! Okay I want you to clearly repeat after me! Riddikulus! Everyone!" "Riddikulus!" The whole class repeated. "Good, very good! Now, Mr. Henry Jett, would you please come to the front of the class?" Lupin stuck out a hand, signalling Henry to step forward. He slowly made his way to the professor. "Thank you, now what is your biggest fear?" Lupin asked him. I furrowed my eyebrows at his question. 'What kind of question is that? Why would you ask him about his biggest fear?!' I was confused and a little weirded out. "Uhh, I don't really know, sir. Haven't thought about it." Henry chuckled. "Alright, well then, we must see all together!" Lupin let out a small laugh and whispered something in Henry's ear. Henry nodded and took out his wand. Lupin stood beside Henry and also took out his wand. They shared a quick glance, before Lupin shot a non-verbal spell at the cabinet and it shook open. Henry got in a protective stance. The cabinet shook once again and a complete replica of... ME came out of it. My eyes widened. The boggart took small steps towards Henry. Suddenly it collapsed, and started shaking. "Ri-Riddikulus!" Henry stuttered and the-now-lifeless girl on the floor turned into a laughing clown. The class burst out laughing, everyone except me. I was still shocked. "Great job! Everyone make line! We have to beat this boggart!" Lupin bellowed. Everyone stood in a line. I made my way to the end of the line-still in shock. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to face the person trying to get my attention. Henry rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, you probably want a explanation about the boggart." He started. I slowly nodded. "It's just, that you're the person to actually listen to me. The thought of anything bad happening to you, makes me feel guilty in a way." The boy looked at the floor, and then back at me. I was silent for a while, but then hugged Henry tightly. He wrapped his arms around my waist. We stood like that for a while, before pulling away. "You're so sweet!" I giggled. "I'm glad you understand!"

That was that. I'm sorry this isn't as good as the rest of the story! I just have a huge writers block. And I'm also extremely sorry for not updating this! I'm back! A giant thank you for your patience!

Love you!
