Ch 43 Rescue
Lucius cried in pain as Avery cast Cruciatus Curse on him. Avery stopped as he walks up to him. "Now Lucius, tell me more about Chaldea and the Potter bastard." He said.
The head of the Animusphere cough as he glares up at him. "I already told you all you need, there's nothing more." He said to the Death Eater as he slaps him.
"Tch useless," he said as he raises his wand. "I will teach you a lesson you'll never-" a loud explosion above them cause the Death Eater to pause mid-way of his sentence. He heard running down the stairs.
Avery looks at the Death Eater who looks frantic. "What's going on?" he asked him.
The Death Eater gasps for air. "S-Servants…(gasps)…Servants have infiltrated the mansion and killing everyone inside!" he said.
"Fool! We have the means to combat the Servants with the spell Avenger gave to us." Avery said turning to the four Death Eaters and two werewolves. "Stay here and guard the traitor. I will deal with the pest." He said walking to where the Servants are.
Smoke covers the entrance room of the Malfoy mansion as the Death Eaters cast spells to the enemies as explosions went off. "I can't see anything in this damn fog!" A Death Eater said as crazed laughter was heard in the smoke.
"Just keep on firing spells at-" A lance pierces his chest as the Lancer moves on to the next one.
Caenis laughs as she thrust her spear at a werewolf that he thought he might get a jump on the member of the Argonauts. "This is not even a battle! You are all weak as hell!" she said basing her shield at another werewolf.
"Shut up! We are stronger then you-" Beowulf clubbed the werewolf on the head with Naegling with enough force that causes brain damage to the werewolf.
Beowulf grins as he jumps in the air and landed in the middle of a group of Death Eaters thinking staying in a group might help. He stood above the survivor of the Death Eater of the group as Beowulf thrust Hrunting in his heart. "Tch, Alter Ego!" Beowulf called for the onmyoji as he cast flames to the Death Eaters.
Ashiya turns his attention to the Berserker. "What is it Berserker?" he asked annoyed that he was interrupting his fun.
"I will look for Lucius, you guys handle things here!" Beowulf said as he grabs the face of a werewolf before he crushes his face with his bare hand.
The Alter Ego threw a suitcase to the King of Savagery. "If you are going to look for the Animusphere head then take this with you." He said as he threw cards at the faces of his enemies.
"Got it, Caster, with me!" Beowulf called for the demon.
Mephistopheles threw one of his bombs at a werewolf as his body exploded. "Awe but I was having fun." He whines. "Boom! Bang! Explosions everywhere! Blood and body parts flying, why would I stop!?" the Caster asked.
Beowulf sighs. "Because you damn demon, this is still a mission and it takes priority."
The Caster pouts as he threw another bomb behind him as screams of pain came afterward. "Fiinne," he rolled his eyes as he jumps to him. They ran to the basement but stop when Avery came up from the stairs.
"That's far enough." He said as he held his wand to them. "I take it that you are Servants of the Potter Bastard?" he asked.
Beowulf gritted his teeth at the name he just calls his master.
Mephistopheles chuckles as he grins at him. "What are you grin at?" Avery demanded the demon.
"I sense a Noble Phantasm in your possession." He sang pointing his scissors at him.
"Oh? You mean this?" Avery took out a black wand that radiates a power similar to a Servant's Noble Phantasm.
"I take it's from that Avenger?" The Caster asks.
Avery grins. "Indeed, she has provided the means to kill you all." He said as the black wand start to spark red. Avery grins as he aims the wand at them and shot a blast of power is unleashed.
Beowulf activates his guts and places himself in front to take on the attack. Suddenly a large paper shaped man blocks the red beam.
Beowulf and Mephistopheles look behind them to see Ashiya grinning at them. "You two go, I will handle him." He said darkly.
"Got it," Beowulf said as he and the Caster jump landing behind the Death Eater and ran to the dungeon.
Avery turns around to cast another attack. "On no, you don't!" he said as the wand sparks red and shot at them only to be blocked by Caenis's shield.
Avery's eyes widen that the attack was easily deflected by the Lancer. "How is it possible!?" he exclaims as the Argonaut grins stepping forward as he steps back.
Caenis swung her shield that directs the attack to the other side of the room. "I have divinity so any attack from a divine attack will be like a human punching another human." She said to him.
"Man, that attack was a bit strong but can't kill us. I have to say I think Avenger is just leading you all to your defeat." She said as Avery was taken back.
"W-What!?" Avery said realizing that she was right. Avenger was close to his lord and influencing his decisions, leading to him making brash decisions. "Damnit, we'll have to fight another time." He said to her as he tries to use Apparition to get out of here.
He looks around. "W-What happen to my magic?" he said in a panic.
"Oh, that was my doing." The Death Eater turns around to see the Alter Ego standing above a pile of his fallen allies. Ashyia jumps down from the pile and walks over to him. "I have placed a bounded field so no one can escape." He said to him.
Avery cowers as the Onmyoji smiles sinisterly at him. "Avery Jr, my master requires a new spy in your lord's inner circle and you fit the criteria." He said.
"W-What are you going-" he was interrupted when he opens his hands as a red pentagram appeared. Avery whimpers as the Alter Ego's hand comes closer to his face.
"Now, this will take a second." Ashiya grins as the heightened screams of the Death Eater fills the Servant with pleasure.
Mephistopheles and Beowulf stop as a group of werewolves come rushing at them. "Caster," Beowulf asked as Mephistopheles took out bombs.
"Got it." He sang. "You go ahead." He said as he lunges forward placing bombs on the pack of wolves.
Beowulf jumps up and landing behind the pack as the Caster explodes the wolves that were marked with the bombs.
A Death Eater heard an explosion coming upstairs. "I think they are giving them hell." He said thinking that his allies are winning until Beowulf appeared running to them.
"What the- I thought he was preoccupied!" the werewolf said as he was punched in the face that sent him flying.
The Death Eaters and werewolves remaining surround the King of Savagery. "He can't take us all on." A Death Eater said.
"Really," he said as he spots Lucius chained up. "Yo, Animusphere," he called him as Lucius looks at him.
Beowulf grabs a werewolf and threw him in the cell where Lucius was in breaking the bars. He then rand up to the Magus and grabs the chains snapping it as Lucius's arms were freed. "Took you long enough." He said to the Servant.
"Well, we wanted to have fun with the Death Eaters." He said. "Besides, Alter Ego needs to do something with the one named Avery."
"I see." He said as the Death Eaters walk to them.
"Oh, by the way, courtesy from master." Beowulf handed him the suitcase.
Lucius opens the suitcase and was shocked to see the Animusphere's family crest in it and a new cane with a blue gem on top of it. "I would take it if I were you," Beowulf said.
The head of the Animusphere nodded as he touches the crest emitting light upon contact.
The Death Eaters and werewolves shielded their eyes at the light as it soon faded. "What is "they all saw Lucius standing before them holding his cane.
"Should I let you handle them, or I should?" The Berserker asked the Magus.
"No, I should finish them off," Lucius said. "As head of the Animusphere family, it's my responsibility to deal with intruders in our home."
"Yeah, I understand," Beowulf said.
Lucius spun the new cane as he activates his magic circuits. "Tch, what are you going to do with that stick?" A werewolf chuckles.
"You should let that Servant do the fighting instead of you." A Death Eater said. "Take aim!" he orders the remaining Death Eaters as they aim for Lucius.
"Fir-" Lucius shot a black beam at the floor beneath them as it turns into a black hole.
"What is-AAAGGGRRRHHHH" they were all sucked into the black hole as Lucius close it.
Beowulf blinks surprised that Lucius has dealt with them quickly. "That was fast." He said.
Lucius places the cane on the floor before turning to the Servant. " We have no time to spare, we need to get the remaining item left before Voldemort sends someone to retrieve it." He said.
"Got it," Beowulf nodded as they went to the entrance room. They pass by the stairs which were cover in the blood and body parts of the fallen followers of the Dark Lord.
They arrived at the entrance of the Malfoy Mansion meeting up with Caenis, Mephistopheles, and Ashiya Dōman. Lucius saw that Avery Jr was still alive kneeling before the onmyoji with a pentagram imprinted on his forehead.
"What's going on here?" Lucius asked the Alter Ego.
They all turn to see the Animusphere head as the Caster laughs. "Hehehe, Alter Ego has made a brand-new puppet." He laughs.
"That fool stood no chance when Alter Ego place the spell on him" Caenis smiles.
Lucius looks at Avery as his mouth open drooling unable to move or do anything. "I have taken the liberty to create a spy for us since you are compromised," Ashiya said.
"Won't Avenger notice something's off when he is the only survivor of tonight's attack?" Lucius asked the Alter Ego.
"I took precautions for that." He said as he finishes off some details to Avery. " If Avenger or Voldemort decides to read this one's mind all they will see is him witnessing bloodshed and leaving them a message."
"Now he's done, I think we are down for tonight's adventure," Ashyia said.
"Not quite, we need to retrieve something first," Beowulf said.
"What's that?" Caenis asked the Berserker.
"An important item that Voldemort created hiding in a place that he doesn't know I have knowledge of," Lucius said.
They nodded remembering the items they were collecting before. "I see, led the way," Ashyia said. "But before that, we should make it look that my puppet was spared." He said as Caenis and Mephistopheles did that.
Chaldea Britain Outpost
-ZZZ- ALL PROGRAMS CHECKED…LOCATION CONFIRM FROM THE CHALDEA RUSSIAN BRANCH…WELCOME DIRECTOR KADOC ZEMLUPUS-ZZZ-
Kadoc walks out of the coffin as Tesla walks up to him. "Welcome, Director Kadoc to the Brittan Branch of Chaldea." He greeted him.
The former Crypter looks around as the command room look similar to Chaldea and the Russian Branch. "So this is the Chaldea Brittan Branch, it's a lot like Russia's," he said.
"I take that as a compliment." Tesla smiles.
"So Tesla, where's Mashu?" he asked the inventor.
"Ms. Mashu is probably with master in the master bedroom." He said. "I will take you to them."
Kadoc shook his head, "No need, I want to explore this outpost." He said as he walks out of the command room.
"Very well," Tesla said returning to his work.
Kadoc walks around the Outpost as he was greeted by Servants and staff. He saw Anastasia sitting on a bench combing Viy in her arms. "There we go Viy, your hair is all neat now." She said to the doll.
"Caster," Kadoc called for his former Servant.
Anastasia looks up to her former master and smiles. "Hello master Kadoc, it's been almost a month since we have seen each other." The Duchess of Ice said.
"Yes, it has, Caster." He responded.
The Lostbelt Servant stood up from the bench. "Are you here to be in master's place?" she asked him.
"Yeah, Mashu asked me yesterday to assist here until he's better." The Director of the Russian Branch said.
Anastasia smiles. "Well allow me to be your bodyguard once more, master would want that." She said.
Kadoc blushed as he looks away from the Caster. "S-Sure," he said trying to hide the fact that he likes her around.
"Thank you for allowing me, master Kadoc." The Caster said.
"(Ahem) A-Anyways, can you take me to Ritsuka? I want to see how's he doing." Kadoc asked her.
"I do apologies, but Nightingale has instructed us, Servants and staff, to stay away from master's chambers." She said. " She ruled that we need to wait for tomorrow for visitors to be in the room."
Kadoc chuckles that the Berserker would prevent anyone to see the director. "Alright, then can you take me to Mashu?"
"Of course, she's in her room." She said as Kadoc follows his former Servant.
They arrived at the door to Mashu's room door. Anastasia knocks on the door. "Mashu, master Kadoc is here to see you." She said without an answer.
Anastasia looks at Kadoc with a worried face. She knocks the door once more hoping for an answer from the Assistant Director. "Mashu are you alright in there?" she asked once more only to be silent on the other side.
"Caster moves aside," Kadoc said as he picks the lock of the door. After a minute he manages to get the door open. "We're in," he said as the two went inside Mashu's room.
"Mashu!?" Kadoc called out her name looking around the room.
"Mashu, where…" Anastasia's eyes draw to the open bathroom door. "Master Kadoc," she called for him as she walks to the bathroom.
"Caster, what is it?" he asked following her in the bathroom.
Anastasia knocks on the door of the bathroom. "Mashu? Are you in here?" she asked as she opens the door only for her to gasps in horror.
Kadoc rushes over after hearing his former Servant gasps. "Caster, what h-MASHU!" Kadoc exclaims as an unconscious Mashu laid on the tiled floor with some vomit on the ground and her mouth.
Kadoc rushes over to her lifting her in his arms. "Caster, get Nightingale, and meet me in the medical bay." He orders the Duchess of Ice as she went to get the nurse and Kadoc took Mashu to the medical bey.
