"Hey guys. Do you remember the last time we left Paris? When Jexi asked the question about what it would be like in the future?" Hope asked.
"Yeah, I did. Though for slightly different reasons." David said.
"Well I found this weird thing at the museum." Hope said pointing to an old looking time capsule.
"A time capsule?" Miriam asked. "Did you discover what was in it?"
"Of course not, it was on display at the museum." Hope said. "I'm not gonna steal something from a popular museum just to take a look at it."
"Strange...the capsule looks like it uses tech that won't be invented for a long while." Miles said.
"It must be from the Future then." Al said. "But how did it wind up here?"
"Huh...push button?" Ed said seeing it.
"No no. Last time you did that, you let a Chimera Ant loose. No one is getting close to…" Miles said before accidentally pushing it. "Crap."
The capsule let out some steam as it slowly opened up.
"Ugh...wow...a few thousand years can leave you kinda stiff, won't it." said a young man as he emerged with three others.
"Oh my." Miriam said.
"Anyway, nice work getting it open, Ji-" he said before looking to the group. "Uh...I just realized. We aren't at home. Sorry but this display is now closed so please go away."
"Oh no. You're not getting past us easily." David said.
"What should we do? Exposing ourselves could lead to lasting consequences." the girl said.
"Not necessarily. Long as we don't reveal personal info like family, we'll be okay. Don't worry, Athena. As a man of science, I know the area very well." the guy said.
"Wait, did you just say Athena?" David asked. "Strange… Because I remember at one point that I would…"
"Da-eyeyeyeye!" the boy with the spear slung over his back interrupted. "What Glitz here was trying to say was thanks for busting us outta that capsule. He …" he said before he was shocked.
"Sorry about him. He is an idiot." Glitz said. "Look...I'll make things simple. The four of us are from the future."
"I...think we can already guess that." David said.
"Apologies for the misunderstanding. What with the rules of time travel." said a young man with some resemblance to Athena.
"Why were you in that thing?" Miles asked.
"It was supposed to be simple. A trip to Paris in the Hero Universe to study Miraculouses. However, we ended up getting blasted into the past by a villain along with this Chronopod." Glitz said.
"Chronopod?" Miles asked.
"The capsule we were inside. It was made to freeze the people inside and then someone wake them at another point in time. It was made by this lazy guy who didn't want to wait for things like movies or games." Glitz said. "The plan was for my brother in the future to get it open. Didn't think someone would be stupid enough to open it here."
"Hey, it was an accident!" Miles said.
"Not your fault. Curiosity is a part of science and...ah!" Glitz said. "Crap. I almost forgot. Look, whoever you guys are. Call the Dimensional Heroes and tell them to not let Ladybug or Cat Noir out."
"Uh… A little too late for that." David said.
"Oh, it's worse than we thought…" the blue haired boy said.
"Without a doubt, he'll be here in this era now." Glitz said.
"He?" Jexi asked.
"Timetagger. The villain who sent us back in time." Glitz said.
"Wait...if we ended up here...you think she did too?" Athena asked.
"Right. Listen, is there a strange object in the Egyptian Wing?" Glitz asked.
"Well, there is that one statue." Francisca said.
"Good. That means she made it. Look, we don't have time to waste. Or is it time we have yet to waste? Ugh, why does time travel speech have to be so complicated." the boy said.
"It's probably better if we just check to see if she's still intact." the blue haired boy said.
"Right…" Glitz said as they hurried to the Egyptian Wing and saw someone there.
"The heroes. Yeah. That message was right!" Alix said.
"Alix? Why are you here?" Rainbow said.
"I got a message from my watch." Alix said. "Told me to come here."
"I see...she's pretty clever." Glitz said. "Earth Creation Magic: Earth Pillar Piston!" he said as a pillar of earth thrusted into the statue as it broke open to reveal a woman in a bunny themed hero suit.
"Took you guys long enough." she said crawling out.
"Wait...are you...a Miraculous hero?" Levy asked.
"Got it in one. Bunnyx is the name. And like them, I also come from the future." she said.
"And he sent her back too. Ancient Egypt more than likely." Glitz said. "But you got the Rabbit Miraculous. You could have come back."
"I could have but a certain black cat we all know ended up breaking it." Bunnyx said.
"Still busting stuff up, even in the future, I see." Francisca said.
"Trust me, a lot of things change but a number of them stay the same." Bunnyx said.
"Bunnyx here is the Hero of the Last Chance, using the Rabbit Miraculous's power of Evolution to control time." the boy known as Jason said.
"What he means is, when all other heroes fail, she's called on as a last resort." Glitz said.
"So even we end up biting the bullet, huh?" David asked.
"Do not misunderstand. Your legacies are long lasting." Athena said.
"Plus you weren't even there." Glitz said. "Still...if Timetagger keeps sending things back to the past, he's gonna do serious damage to the time stream."
"Right. Which is why I need that." Bunnyx said, pointing to Alix's watch. She grabbed it as it transformed into the Rabbit Miraculous.
"Whoa, really?" David asked.
"That's right. Alix's watch is actually the Rabbit Miraculous. To be honest, I'm surprised you didn't notice until just now." Cedric said.
"Bet he didn't notice this either." Bunnyx said as she soon transformed back, revealing herself as an older version of Alix.
"Well I'll be damned." David said.
"Yeah, you've said that to me a few times when we met. Well, will have met anyway." Future Alix said.
"I don't get it. Ladybug never gave Alix the Rabbit Miraculous at all yet, so why does she have it now?" Hope said.
"This is...kind of a complicated process." Cedric said.
"She just hasn't realized how awesome we truly are yet. But don't worry. She will, one day." Future Alix said. "Okay Fluff. Time to eat." she said to a small rabbit like creature.
"Hmm? Was it breakfast or dinner? What time will it be yesterday? Is it tomorrow already? When it'll be the day after tomorrow, it will have been yesterday again!" Fluff said.
"Fluff, Fluff… Calm down for a minute, okay?" Athena asked.
"Sorry, Miss Athena…" Fluff apologized.
"Whoa...she's familiar with Kwamis?" Levy asked.
"Athena is sort of a friend to all mythical beings, including Kwamis. She can make friends with just about any of them." Glitz said.
"Heh. That's your sister for you." Jason told Cedric.
"Okay...let's get this going. Fluff, Clockwise!" Future Alix said as Fluff flew into the watch. Rabbit ears appeared first and then the suit as the watch was attached to her hip as she swirled an umbrella before putting it on her back and posed.
The group the jointly rushed up to the surface, noting many of the artworks had changed appearances.
"Looks like Timetagger's already begun his work." Jason said. "He's sent Jagged Stone back, and Nadia Chamak, Andre Glacier… even the mayor."
"He's destroying the future by sending the present into the past. He isn't stopped now, he'll ruin all of history." Bunnyx said.
"Then I guess we all have to pitch in to stop this." David said.
"Okay...but don't ask anything about the future, got it?" Glitz said.
"My lips are sealed." David said.
They hurried to the square as Timetagger was fighting Ladybug and Cat Noir.
"Hmm...almost…" Bunnyx said before putting Ace and Alix next to the Ice Cream cart. "Perfect. Burrow!" she said, vanishing before appearing next to Timetagger and attacking him. "Miss me?"
"Whoa...wait...she can keep using her power?" Hope asked.
"Adults can use Miraculous powers continuously." Levy said.
Bunnyx and Timetagger battled one on one, constantly teleporting through time shifts to gain the advantage.
"I just gotta send you back to the future, and this'll all be over!" Bunnyx said hooking Timetagger's leg with her umbrella and throwing him towards the portal. Timetagger however shifted time at the last minute and appeared behind her.
"You're lame, Bunnyx, you don't get the game. Now you gotta start all over again!" Timetagger said as they continued fighting.
Jason sighed. "As usual, Bunnyx charges in alone and thinks she can do things all by herself."
"Oh, quit acting like this is a usual thing." Glitz said seeing Bunnyx popping out of multiple time eras. "Geez, she's really going into overdrive."
"Heheh...time for my prize. The Miraculous." Timetagger said.
"Forget it. You won't take it to him." Hope said.
"He's not talking about Gabriel Agreste." Glitz said.
"There is a new Hawk Moth in our timeline." Cedric said.
"They're right, y'know." Time tagger said. "Now give me the…" he said as a portal opened. "Huh?"
"Ultimate Color...Fist!" a voice echoed as a punch went through it, knocking Timetagger off kilter for a moment before his gun was destroyed with the Akuma being freed and purified.
"That move…!" Hope said.
"Heh...took you long enough, Jin." Glitz said as the portal widened. "Looks like our ride is here."
"Wait!" Hope said as the four prepared to leave. "I have to be right about this! Are you guys really our…"
"Sorry but we both know you're terrible at this sort of thing." Glitz said. "Besides, we could end up just easily lying and tell you something else."
"He's got a point, you know, Hope. We agreed never to ask about this kind of stuff." David said.
"I know…." Hope said. "That attack just sparked something in my mind."
"You really should just forget we were ever here. Though...I can give you a couple tidbits free. The Hero Alliance...will always continue on." Glitz said. "And Levy, continue to decipher the notes on the Miraculous. That book of yours has been helpful to my research. Even with that precious thing you're carrying." he said as they headed off.
"What's he talking about?" Gajeel asked.
"Well uh…" Levy said, before she whispered something to Gajeel before he looked flustered.
At the Agreste Manson….
Gabriel, knowing that he wasn't Hawk Moth in the future, was depressed as the others consoled him.
"If I'm not Hawk Moth in the future… that means I failed." Gabriel said.
"The future isn't set in stone. There is still time to change it." DaDan said.
"Yeah. Hmm...I recall I come from a distant future. I wonder how everyone back there is fairing without me." Techno said. "Is it still a utopia...or did it fall apart the moment I left? Guess I'll find out once I make my mark here. As for this revelation, I assure you of one thing: I'll do everything in my power to uphold our agreement."
"I hope you do." Gabriel said. "Because now, failure is no longer an option."
