Hope you enjoy this oneshot that was inspired by art I randomly stumbled upon. Ruby Marinza Grace And Obsidian Deleware Grace belong to me as named creations, but any names or references belong to Kakao games and I have no ownership in anything they have made. Enjoy!

Future princess sits on the bench of Sky garden, looking out over the floating island that was Heavenhold of ten years ago, today. While the Guardian siblings had been returned to their time after their victory, it appeared the Dark magician of her time vowed that if he cannot rule this universe, then no one can live in it, and had cast a spell of cataclysmic proportions that enveloped everything. All of her friends she had. All the people she fought for to keep them free. All of them, gone, as her time-barrier powers reacted oddly with the spell when she tried to save them and had thrown her here to this timeline.

As she sees Sohee pass by, she sighed in depression. Even if, in a sense, all her friends are still around and alive, they are the Guardian siblings and her younger self's friends... they wouldn't have that connection that she had made with them. Those same bonds that saved her from just deciding to end it all when the Guardian siblings went missing for ten years. Her train of thought derailed when she felt a few short tugs on the cloth connected to her armor. Looking in that direction, she found herself looking face to face with her younger self.

"Hey. You alright? You look kinda sad."

In effort to hide her pain, she offered a smile as she replied to the Little Princess.

"No, I'm okay. Just been deep in thought."

That caused Little princess to frown, as well as having Future Princess smack herself mentally for forgetting that she used to be super empathetic when she herself was young and was probably still true for Little Princess.

"No, you're not. I don't know why, since I've seen you like this a few times, but Ruby and Obsidian won't tell me why you're like this."

She sighed mentally, for the Guardian siblings, Ruby Marinza Grace and Obsidian Delaware Grace, had been the ones to find her when she had crash-landed into this timeline and had agreed with her request to keep the fact she was from the future absolutely quiet, for she didn't want to be faced with questions about the timeline she was from. All anyone knew was that she was from a very far-away kingdom that had been annihilated by the Invaders and that she survived the massacre somehow by being blasted off and away, joining with them in the fight to rid the world of the Invaders for good.

"I'm fine really... It's just... I miss my home... It wasn't the best at times, and there hadn't been a lot to go around, but it was still home."

Little Princess looked down in slight contemplation, Future Princess almost hearing the gears grind in her head before Little Princess snapped her fingers with an "Ah-ha!" before running off. Leaving the sudden disappearance for another time, she had went up to the tower to help with Patrol.

Five days later, Future Princess was being brought to the Sky Garden by Captain Knight Eva, having been sent by Little Princess as a request to bring her there. When she arrived, she caught Little Princess in her attempt to tackle-hug her from the tree standing there. Future Princess was about to ask what that was all about when her breath caught in her throat. After being caught, Little Princess had brought out a necklace that was shaped like the shard-shaped wings her powers activated to look like and was holding it out to her with child-like exuberance.

"I asked around for a few favors and spent a lot of my allowance I saved up to get this made for you. I hope it will help you remember the good memories of home and not be as homesick anymore."

This caused tears to well up in Future Princess' eyes as she set Little Princess down and gently picked up the offered necklace. This gift was coming completely out of left field for her. It was very thoughtful of Little Princess and she could literally feel love and happiness pouring from the pendant that dangled from the silver chain, emanating warmth like a nice campfire.

Seeing Little Princess start to panic, probably thinking she upset her somehow, Future Princess moved to envelope her in a warm, gentle hug.

"You didn't do anything wrong Little Princess. These are happy tears. This was so thoughtful of you. I love it, thank you!"

She felt the Little Princess calm down as she returned the hug.

"You're welcome! The Ancestors be my witness, I want to be sure everyone is happy! That includes you to! And while it's not home, I hope this comes close. I want to make sure you belong! The others could help to!"

When the bell rang out that it was dinnertime, it had Little Princess hop out and run as fast as she could back to the Inn. Future Princess looked after her before looking down at the necklace and pocketed it to put on later as she headed back.

While this is not my time... I could perhaps learn to call the Heavenhold of now home. Future Princess thought as, for the first time in a while since having landed here, she genuinely smiled.

Fin.

AUTHOR AFTERNOTE:

This had been a bit on my mind as I had said earlier that I stumbled upon fanart of Future Princess and Little Princess together in a scenario of Little Princess Gifting Future Princess a Star cube. I might comeback to this in the future if Kakao games decides to Name the hero and the Little Princess an actual name so I can update it with said names. I envisoned it going like this when I had read future princess' backstory and had a self wondered question of how Future princess ended back in Heavenhold of ten years past from Unrecorded world? and this popped up. Small tribute to the wonderful game of memes and, If the creator of Kakao games and of Guardian Tales happens to see this. Would be really happy for a review to see how I had done with this story. hope everyone liked it, and Please, NO FLAMES!

Have a nice day!
