"So...what is with Marinette today? She seems...even more spontaneous." Asta said.
"It's St. Athanase Day. She's trying to give Adrien a gift today and maybe have the guts to finally tell him how she feels." Odd said.
"Well, knowing her, she may have a nervous breakdown like she always does whenever he's involved, then again...this might just work." Simon said, looking at his comm which was in the shape of an Umbran Watch.
"Yeah? What makes you think that, Simon?" SE asked.
"I gotta agree. She's done this multiple times and she always chickens out or messes up. What makes this any different?" Rainbow said.
"Even I don't know the answer myself." Simon said. "Which is why I'll go observe in Purgatorio."
"Yeah...that's not going to happen." a voice said as they saw Bunnyx standing in the room.
"Bunnyx?" Simon asked.
"If you're here, then that means… Oh no…" Magnamon said.
"Yeah. Someone in the past has done something that leads to disastrous consequences in the future. Think, did anyone here do anything out of the ordinary today?" Bunnyx said.
"Well, apart from the usual chaos, not really." SE said.
"I know me and my group haven't done anything out of the ordinary." Jexi said.
"I may have made mistakes but nothing to cause the end of the world." Hope said.
"Whatever's happened, we'll help…"
"Okay, no more sucking up. In my burrow, now!" Bunnyx said ushering them all into the burrow.
"Whoa...nice pad." Miles said seeing multiple holes in a white space. "And I can see you already got Ladybug and...whoa!" he said looking out one hole to see a prehistoric jungle with a T-rex. "I see. So each hole looks into a different time period in a different world."
"Yeah and it's not a good idea, it could affect the timestream." Simon said.
"Geez, so nitpicky over an observation." Miles said.
"The past is fine. Looking into the future is what causes problems." Bunnyx said, noticing her arms fuzzing a bit. "We need to protect the future." she said before shoving them out a nearby hole. Outside, they saw a large destroyed city completely flooded with water.
"What the...what world are we in?" Jade asked.
"This...is Paris. Ladybug's Paris." Bunnyx said.
"In the future, that is. How did things get so bad?" Magnamon asked.
"I can only think of one thing. Something so bad that it never should've happened." Rokuten Maoh said.
"That only thing we can think of that fits that kind of description is…" Cia started.
"Yes… Ladybug's identity has been exposed." Rokuten Maoh said.
"Yep. That sounds very bad." Magnamon said.
"So we've got to capture the Akuma and restore order." Simon said.
"That won't fix anything I'm afraid." a voice said as a figure in a cloak stood on the railing.
"Okay...whoever you are, you better…" Jexi said.
"Please, I mean no harm." they said removing their hood to reveal themselves as Techno.
"Techno? Wait… Something's different." Magnamon said.
"Yes….a lot of things are different now." Techno said watching as Ladybug went off to search the city. "Ah...sweet little Marinette."
"Oh crap...you did this!" SE exclaimed.
"No...I did not. Adrien did." Techno said.
"Adrien? But why?" Simon asked.
"It's probably best if I explain on the way." Techno said as they followed him as they watched as Ladybug was fighting against a completely white version of Cat Noir. "It all started when Adrien realized his feelings for Marinette and they started dating."
"And somewhere along the way to that relationship, he started to put the pieces together." Magnamon said.
"Possibly...but I think he already knew before. A lot of people supported the relationship...well...almost everyone." Techno said.
"Hawk Moth...His father." Rokuten Maoh said.
"Correct." Techno said. "Gabriel...he did not want his son associating with her so he threatened her by using Adrien's career. He then tried to akumatize her. That's when...Adrien showed his true self to us...his hero self."
"And that's when it took a turn for the worse." Simon said.
"It led up to an all out war. All of you heroes took the battle right to our doorstep. Then...the fighting led to the place where Emilie was kept. Where Hawk Moth revealed himself to his son. He took the chance and akumatized Cat Noir into Cat Blanc, a villain with unlimited destruction. He thought he could control Adrien but...he was wrong. Adrien and his feelings for both Marinette and his family literally pulled at two different angles. In the end...he ended up destroying and losing everything around him. Marinette, Gabriel, the Hero Alliance, the New Universal Villains...it was all gone." Techno said.
"Oh my god…" Magnamon said in horror.
"But how did you survive?" Simon asked.
"I take precautions for all eventualities. I have a device implanted in my body that can withstand the destruction. I had given one to DaDan too but...someone went and killed him and took it." Techno said, his expression morphing into sadness at the memory.
"Oh damn… All of this just because Hawk Moth exposed himself to Adrien." Magnamon said.
"It wasn't just that…" Rokuten Moah said. "The fact that his mother was comatose, his father being revealed as Hawk Moth the whole time… Someone like Adrien wouldn't be able to process all of that information rationally. He's had it very hard."
"The revelations, and the loss of everything… it's driven him mad." Techno said. "That's why he's trying to take Marinette's Miraculous. He's convinced the wish can undo all the damage he's done."
"Even knowing that there's a price to pay for doing that." Simon said.
"To be honest, I don't think he even cares at this point." Techno said.
"He has a point. I mean, how would you have felt if you were in his shoes?" Rokuten Maoh asked.
"All things considered… I probably wouldn't have taken it all well either." Magnamon said.
"The Akuma...where is it?" Hope asked.
"What difference does it make? Miraculous Ladybug can't fix this because the one of this timeline is dead." Techno said.
"Where...is it?" Hope asked.
"It's' in the cat bell...the one on his collar." Techno said. "If you think you can save him, go ahead and try. If not…well...it won't matter either way." he said, sounding defeated.
"It might be tough, considering that we're basically fighting Adrien, but… If there's even a small chance, we have to do it." Magnamon said. "I mean, us Royal Knights have already been pulled from the brink twice. We're kind of used to it by now. And besides, I am the Knight of Miracles, after all." he said with a little wink.
"Well let's show him the power of miracles then." Simon said, playfully smirking. "Let's rock!"
They hurried off to the sight as Cat Blanc was chasing Marinette up the ruined Eiffel Tower.
"Don't worry, milady! We can fix all of this, together!" Cat Blanc said, sending a white orb at her as it destroyed part of the tower.
"Man, he wasn't kidding. His powers are supercharged." Jexi said.
"Which explains the moon being split in half." Simon said. "We've got to get that Akuma, fast."
"He's not going to let us anywhere close to him. How are we supposed to get the bell without being destroyed in the process?" Eijiro said.
"I think I may have an idea in mind. But it's a bit risky." Magnamon said.
"What's the action?" Simon asked.
"Well, we just need to get Marinette to remove it. The problem, however, is that with all the destruction he's causing, he won't be able to stand still. We may have to hold him down." Magnamon said.
"Wait...maybe we don't have to." Jexi said as they saw Marinette leaping from the waters and attacking him. "Then again…"
"You...you all don't care for me. You...you don't love me anymore, do you, Marinette? Fine. Then I do away with all of it." Cat Blanc said as a large white orb began to form as it constantly grew in size. "I do away...with everything."
"You need to stop him. He's about to destroy the entire multiverse!" Bunnyx said.
"Uh...wait!" Magnamon said. "We...we surrender. We'll hand over the Ladybug Miraculous to you, Cat Noir."
"It's Cat Blanc now." Cat Blanc said as the orb vanished.
"Before we decide to do this... Think I could give you one last kiss?" Marinette asked.
"Who am I to ignore something like that?" Cat Blanc said. They leaned in close, but as soon as she was close, Marinette grabbed the bell off his collar and smashed it, freeing and purifying the Akuma, reverting Cat Noir back to normal. "Marinette...what...what has happened here?"
"This still isn't right. He still knows who she is." Jexi said.
"This won't be much of a problem. We'll just need to go back to the point he starts thinking of her identity." Magnamon said.
"Thinking of...Techno, what day was it when he confessed his love?" Simon asked.
"The day? It was St. Athanase Day." Techno said.
"That's today...now I know what we have to do! Bunnyx, you need to take us back at least 5 minutes before I left the card." Ladybug said.
"Sure, no problem." Bunnyx said, opening her burrow.
They quickly ran in before it opened in Adrien's room.
"From...Marinette." Past Ladybug said before the group ran in.
"Sorry, but you'll thank us later." Magnamon said erasing the name on the card.
The Past Ladybug vanished being replaced by the current one just as Adrien entered the room. "Guys, what is going on here?"
"Just dropping off a gift. It's from...your fans in Brazil." Miles said. "We were just doing a hand delivery because of a...postal strike."
"Wow...that was...this is nice. Thanks." Adrien said.
"Don't thank us. We're just doing our job." SE said. "Now...we must be off." he said as they hurried off and met up with Bunnyx on the rooftops.
"Real smooth." Bunnyx said.
"Yeah...thanks. So...do you still remember…" Hope said.
"What's seen is seen." Bunnyx said. "The timeline is now cut off from this one, making it an alternate timeline. We're back on the right path...least what is considered right for now."
"And...did you know that…" Jexi asked, pointing to Ladybug.
"I know she's Marinette just like I know the identities of a few other heroes here." Bunnyx said. "That's why I was picked. Cause I know how to keep these secrets."
"Yes. After all, loose lips sink ships." Simon said. "Except for you."
"Yeah...not your best response." Bunnyx said.
"Wait...so who was it who went and…" Mark asked.
"Ah ah. There's a time and place for everything." Bunnyx said as she disappeared down her burrow.
"Phew...that's a relief. We went and changed the future." Jexi said.
"I don't know how we would've without Magnamon's quick thinking." Cia said.
"Well, I'm no Leopardmon, but I had to make something work." Magnamon said.
"And it was well played out." Simon said. "As expected of the Knight of Miracles."
"Thank you." Magnamon said. "But doubt that's the only sight we're going to be in for."
