"Well...this is a little strange. Hey, did you guys get the same reply from Adrien?" Lan asked.
"You mean this hateful reply to a nice message...don't know what you mean." Pinkie said as she angrily worked in the kitchen.
"Strange. Adrien doesn't seem to be the type that would write something like that." Sectonia said.
"He isn't." Mark said. "Take a closer look."
"Hey, he's right. While this guy looks a bit like Adrien in appearance, his facial structure is off by a bit. This guy isn't him." Lan said.
"Who the heck is this guy? Well, whoever he is, he's gonna be in for a world of hurt." Frosta said.
"Calm down. Besides, it's just one, albeit mean, reply. It's not worth getting angry over." Lan said before they saw alerts across the city. "Now what?" he said checking his phone. "Aw damn." he said as they saw Lady Wi-Fi, Princess Fragrance and Reflekta heading for the Agreste Mansion.
"Looks like Hawk Moth decided to form a Trio of Punishers." Griffon said.
"And it looks like they're going to kill Adrien." Lan sighed. "Guess we better go save him before they get their hooks into him."
"Well, so much for a peaceful day." Mark sighed. "Let's roll." the half-angel said as the group departed for the Agreste Mansion.
The Agreste Mansion, a few minutes later…
"Okay, ladies. That's enough!" Lan said. "The heck?" he said seeing the Adrien lookalike fighting back against the three superpowered villainesses. "Hmm...you know, I know we're heroes but would it be wrong to leave him to his fate?"
"Tempting, but yes, it would be." Mark stated. "We can make him...apologize later." he said, looking as though he caught himself during the sentence.
"Yeah, all right. I've got the deck loaded anyway. So let's keep these ladies at bay. Come and feast, Hammer Shark!" Lan said unleashing a shark with a hammer shaped head.
"I gotcha." Simon said, grabbing the boy before running off.
"Okay...let's see...what would be the object infected with the Akuma…" Sectonia pondered as she looked the girls over. "The tablet. The tablet is the infected object!"
"Then that's our target." Al said.
"That so?" the Adrien lookalike said before kicking Simon as he ran and snatched it up. "Change of plans. New game. Who can make me more happy." he said.
"You can't be serious. This isn't a game!" Lan said.
"And I say it is. And the winner is whoever can get me a certain piece of jewelry." he said.
"Fine...you wanna play it that way? That's fine." Mark said as he flew in and grabbed the kid as he flew all the way to the roof. "Give me the tablet or I let go."
"Please...you think this bluff is going to…" he said before Mark let go as he started falling.
"Who said I was bluffing?" Mark said as he grabbed him again by the scruff of his shirt. "Fun ride, right? Wanna go again?" he asked, his eyes shining red for a moment.
"Okay, okay. Fine." he said handing over the tablet.
"Smart choice." Mark said, taking it before breaking it in half as the Akuma was freed and purified.
"Wow. Piece of work." Sectonia said.
"That guy was such a jerk, impersonating Adrien and hurting his friends like that." Ajna said.
"Uh...we're still here. But yeah, you are a jerk." Mark said, dropping the guy. "One last thing." he said before punching him. "Do this again and the next one goes down below."
"Uh...yes." he said getting up and running off.
"Hrm. What a jackass." Mark said.
"Think we'll see him again?" Simon asked.
"Not sure. Only time will tell." Sectonia said.
"Though honestly...I hope we never see him again." Lan said. "Something about that guy just gives me this bad feeling."
