Ch 49 The Master's Return

Firenze gasps for air after dodging a barrage of arrows from the Greek teacher. He looks at him still holding his bow in hand. He chuckles as he got up. "I must say, your skills with the bow are impressive. Not even I can dodge it all." He said taking an arrow out of his shoulders. "It's like the great Chiron has reincarnated in you, Archer."

"I appreciate the compliment, chief Firenze," Chiron said. "Does this mean you'll be willing to hear us out?"

The Centaur shook his head. "Not yet, you show that you can wield a bow. But can you handle hand to hand combat." He said as he gallops towards him.

Chiron smirks dismissing his bow and went into a fighting stance. Firenze was about to punch the Servant when the Archer grabs his shoulders and abdomen flipping him over slamming his body hard on the ground.

Firenze gasps from the amount of force he used when he flips him over. The other Centaurs were surprised that their chief was beaten easily. "How can anyone counter a move that was created by the great Chiron," Torvus said.

"Indeed, he likes the great Centaur," Magnus added to the huntsman's sentence.

"I think he's down for the count." Red Hare said to Xiang.

The Berserker agrees. "Indeed, Archer shows honor in this fight of skills. Though he was holding back a bit, so he won't accidentally kill the chief." He said to the Rider.

"Mmm-mmm," Rider agrees.

Magnus gallops next to the Servants. "Do you mean that Archer was holding back? Why's that?" he asked them.

Red Hare looks at the Centaur. "We Servants are quite powerful, even when a Servant is contracted to a master. We're quite formidable to beat." He said.

"I see, you're all-powerful then we don't stand a chance against you," Magnus said looking at Chiron helping the Chief up from the ground.

"Allow me," Chiron smiles at the chief offering his hand.

Firenze oblige and took the teacher's hand. He got up and inclines his head to the Centaur. "You have proven your master and yourself to us, Archer. We will discuss what your master wants the Centaur tribe to do over dinner."

"We accept thank you, chief Firenze." Chiron inclines his head as Firenze leads the way to the fire.

The Centaurs gave out food to their guest as the music plays in the background. "Hey, mister why do you have four arms?" a child asks Xiang.

Xiang looks at the young Centaur as he looks. "For wielding my weapons for combat, young one." He explains.

"Oh, and what weapons do you have?" another Young Centaur asked him.

"Swords, mainly from China." He said as many look intrigued by him.

"How about you? Why do you have a horse's head and not a Centaur's?"

Red Hare chuckles. "That's because young one, I'm the strongest horseman warrior, a union of man, horse, and weapon of China's greatest generals. I serve my master to aid him to protect humanity!" he announces giving of inspiration to the children.

Chiron chuckles as he ate some of the food, they serve to them. "Archer, tell me more about your master," Firenze asked the Archer.

Chiron smiles. "Master is one of a kind. He'll save someone even though he won't get anything in return." Chiron said before frowning. "He has dealt with hardships on his journey, the destruction of many worlds, friends sacrificing themselves so he can continue, and going up against gods so humanity will be safe."

"He sounds like a person from the human's bible," Firenze said liking the Archer's master from the way he describes him.

Chiron looks up at the sky. "Indeed, but he is humble. He always says he's doing what must be done. He never thought of himself as a saint or a messiah, just a regular human who happens to be chosen to save the world."

Firenze looks down at his food. "Heh, those people are rare in the world." He Chief said. "Can I ask you another question Archer?" he asked as Chiron turns to him.

"What is it, Chief Firenze?" Chiron asked.

"You have countered the Great Centaur's attack with ease, tell me did you learn it from your tribe?" Firenze asked.

Chiron smiles remembering how the Centaurs worship him back then. "Very well, since the wizards know our secret it's best to tell you all."

"Whatever do you mean, Archer?" Firenze asked.

Chiron stood up as shifts into his Centaur form causing many to gasps. "You're a Centaur!?" Firenze exclaims.

"I thought you are human, based on your appearance!" Torvus exclaims pointing at him.

Chiron looks over to the huntsman. "I am indeed a Centaur, I thought it's more suitable to walk around Chaldea in a human form. Plus it also hides my identity from my enemies." He said.

"What do you mean by that Archer?"

"We are Servants, heroes, and villains of the past. We gather in the throne of Heroes as agents of the counterforce when humanity and the world are in peril." Chiron stated. "I'm the son of the Greek Titian Cronos and the ocean nymph Philyra." He looks at the chief of the Centaurs.

Firenze's eyes along with everyone were wide. "It…can't be…"

Chiron smiles. "Indeed, I am Archer, Servant of my master Ritsuka Fujimaru." he looks at everyone. "My true name is Chiron, the Trainer of Heroes, and the Great Centaur you all admire. My compatriots are Red Hare one of the horses of the Great General of China Lu Bu Fengxian and Xiang Yu the Man-Horse type tactical framework, assembled with the best of the Eternal Sin Empire's sage art cybernetics of the China Lostbelt. "

The Centaurs were in shock to hear that the Great Centaur is here. Many were speechless of this unveiling.

Firenze knelt before them. the centaurs follow their Chief and knelt before the Servants of Chaldea. "We are honor to be basked in your presence Lord Chiron," Magnus said.

"Yes, we honor your teachings that were passed down from our ancestors of Greece and teach the future generations of your lessons," Torvus said with pride.

Firenze got up. "We the Centaur tribe will aid your master when the time comes, for if you deemed him worthy to be your master; he shall be ours as well."

Chiron smiles. "Don't, master just want you to aid shelter to the wizards when the battle comes."

"Yes, think that master is asking for your help as respected beings, fellow humans of this world." The Berserker said with logic which would be a surprise to anyone who knows Berserkers.

Firenze nodded. "Very well, if your master wishes it then we'll uphold it."

"Thank you, Chief Firenze," Chiron said inclining his head to him.

Chaldea Britain Outpost February 10, 2024, 11:50 AM

It's been two weeks since Ritsuka has set foot in Hogwarts. Ritsuka was busy with paperwork about what his mentor did from the Mage's Association and the UN and hasn't had the time to go to Hogwarts. He finished with the paperwork last night and finally has the time to go to Hogwarts.

Everyone noticed that Mashu's abdomen was bigger, during that time they announce to all of Chaldea that the two of them

Ritsuka was in the True Ether Mystic Code as he helped Mashu down the stairs worried that she might fall. "Senpai, I can walk by myself," Mashu said chuckling.

Ritsuka smiles at her. "I just don't want you to trip over the stairs, Mashu," Ritsuka said. "Just let me help you."

Mashu sighs as they reach the bottom of the stairs. "I see you two are getting along nicely." Both turn to Achilles standing in the Lobby with Agravain, Sieg, Jeanne, Tristan, Arthur, Lancelot, and Bedivere.

"Achilles, what are you doing here? I thought you were back at Chaldea?" Ritsuka asked the Trojan Hero.

"Well, I wanted to check this Outpost out for myself. If Teacher and Sis are staying here it must be fun." The Rider said.

"I see, are you coming with us then to Hogwarts?" Ritsuka asked the Rider.

Achilles waves at them. "Nah, I want to see what's the Forbidden Forest is all about, see yea master." The Rider waved as he exited the Outpost.

Ritsuka sighs as Mashu tugs his sleeves. "Senpai, we're late again." She said showing him the time.

"Eleven O'clock, best to take the limo if we want to make it for lunch," Ritsuka said.

Mashu nodded as she contacted Steven on the tablet. "I take it you'll be taking helping Amakusa and Semiramis taking care of the place like always," Ritsuka asked the two.

"Yes, master. You can count on us." Sieg said to him.

"Take care of yourself, master," Jeanne said.

"I will, Lancelot, Agravain, Arthur, Bedivere, and Tristan are you all ready?" Ritsuka asked the Knights of the Roundtable.

"Yes, master, Mordred, Galahad, and Arturia is on a material mission. We're out of materials that Avicebron needs for both his and Paracelsus's project." Agravain informs him.

"I see, I kind of surprised that you are coming with me Agravain," Ritsuka said. "Due to your unfinished summon by me, you can't access your Noble Phantasm. What I'm getting at is that you usually stay here filing some files in the office."

Agravain sighs. "Someone beat me to it," he said to his master,

"Who Sir Agravain?" Arthur asked getting quite curious about who the person is.

Agravain shutters at the thought of her. "Koyanskaya," he said her name.

"Koyanskaya's here? I didn't know she arrived." Ritsuka said.

"Well, she arrived via car. She's currently in the library with Lady Helena and Lady Murasaki." Agravain said.

"Well, I should greet her when we come back," Ritsuka said about to walk out of the door when Kadoc arrives with Anastasia in tow.

"Ritsuka, wait." Ritsuka turns around to see the Russian Director. "You're not thinking of leaving without me, aren't you?" Kadoc asked.

Ritsuka blinks at him. "No, I thought you were heading back to the Russian Branch, Kadoc." He said to him.

Kadoc scratches the back of his head and looks away from him, "Well, I figure that you might need some extra assistant here and all." He said getting a bit flustered as Ritsuka smiles. "B-Besides Rasputin has everything handle back in Russia,"

"Well said, master Kadoc," Anastasia said to him as he glares at her.

Ritsuka looks at Mashu and nodded. "It's fine Senpai," she said as he looks at him.

"Welcome to the team, Kadoc." Ritsuka smiles at him.

Kadoc nodded. "Glad to be in service, director."

Hogwarts

Hermione walks out of the Transfiguration class and heads for the library for her break. Hermione sighs as she walks in the halls.

'Is something wrong, Lady Hermione?" Sigurd asked her.

'Saber, nothing is wrong; it's just it's been almost two weeks already and Ritsuka isn't back yet. It's getting a bit dull here.' She mentally said.

'Master is still the Director of Chaldea he has a lot of work to do. plus he has to explain to the Mage's Association and the UN about…Zelretch's stunt back at the Second Dinner.' Sigurd said thanking that he didn't show the Lostbelts.

Hermione sighs, 'I'm guessing that he's stressed out with them? I mean those are the biggest organization in the world. They even funded Chaldea.' She said remembering what Kadoc said that night.

'Indeed, Lady Her-'Sigurd stops mid-sentence sensing a familiar presence near the school.

'Saber? what's wrong?' She asked mentally.

'Master's here,' he said to her. 'He's at the front of the school,'

"Really?" she said as she rushes to the front of the school.

Ginny was with Daphne, Reines, and Holmes talking to each other in the halls. "So Ginny, how are things with Rider?"

"Well the Riders are fun to be around," Ginny said before looking away. "Well, when the three of us are alone I mean, they have interesting stories to tell."

Reines chuckles, "Well, those two were explorers before they were Servants. so they have all kinds of stories to tell."

"Indeed, I take it they told you their true names?" Holmes asked.

Ginny shook her head. "No, I don't want to know just yet. If they want to tell me then they will do it when they're comfortable."

"I see, that's kind of you Ginny," Daphne said.

'Yes, Ginny here is understanding.' Anne said. 'I'm glad we're here bodyguards, right Rider?' She said to everyone mentally.

'Yes,' the small pirate said before feeling a presence that was familiar to all of them. 'Everyone, master's here.' She said to them.

"Wait, Ritsuka's back?" Daphne said shock to hear it.

"It seems so, I can sense his presence as well," Holmes said.

"Then shall we greet our beloved master?" Reines said walking to where she senses him.

"Wait, where is he?" Ginny asked.

"At the front of the school, Caster and Saber are already there greeting him," Holmes said.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Ginny said feeling a bit excited to see him again.

Dumbledore can't believe that after two weeks, Harry Potter has returned to Hogwarts again. "I can't believe it, he's returned," James said. (Insert Fate/Grand Order -ADF: Babylonia- OST Vol.1 - #21 Lively Journey (Babylonia ver.)

They watch Caster and Saber incline their heads to Ritsuka as he smiles at them. "Caster, I heard from Kadoc that you used your power against someone." He said his eyes close and smiling at him.

Gilgamesh gulps, " Y-Yes master, but that Mongrel started it-"

"Caster, you know that I granted you four to use your abilities as self-defense and nothing more." He said to him.

"Y-Yes, master," Gilgamesh said.

"Now for your punishment, go to Gringotts to retrieve something from the King," Ritsuka said to him. "He has something valuable to us."

Gilgamesh hated being treated like a dog retrieving the newspaper for their owners. He looks at him ready to protest. "Master you not suggesting that I retrieve something like a mongrel would!? That's a for-"

Ritsuka held his Command Seals in front of him replenished from. "Don't make me use a command seal, Caster." He smiles at his eyes still closes.

Gilgamesh glared at his master. "You wouldn't dare, Mongrel."

Ritsuka remains silent eyes still closes as the first seal glows. "Fine! I will go," Gilgamesh said walking pass him before turning around to him.

"Master, you-"

"What Caster? 'You' what?" he said eyeing him from behind. "Remember, this is your third strike. One more and I'll have the worst punishment you'll ever face."

Tristan sighs. "The Golden Caster has invoked master's dark side, truly sad indeed."

Agravain eyed the Archer, "Do you have to say depressing things, Archer?"

"Saber, that's how Archer is. You can't change that, right Saber?" Arthur said to his former advisor.

"Indeed, Saber." Bedivere said, "No matter how we wish it, Archer will view things tragically."

Gilgamesh was flustered before dematerializing to Gringotts. Kadoc sighs as his friend is still the same as always. "You never change, even after you just got out of a cold."

"Indeed, master Kadoc. Master is a unique one." Anastasia said.

"That's Senpai for you," Mashu smiles.

"Yes, things will be exciting when master is around," Siegfried said.

Ritsuka smiles. "Aw, thank you, guys." He said as they walk inside the school not before greeting the Headmaster and other students.

"Dumbledore," Ritsuka said walking inside the doors with his entourage in tow.

"Well that was something," Dumbledore said still shocked that Caster would be frightened by a tattoo. He has his suspicions when it glows like that on his hand.

"Headmaster, are you alright?" Lily asked the old man.

"Yes, mt girl. Just never expected Harry to be like that when he came back." Dumbledore said.

"Should we confront him?" James asked the Headmaster.

"Yes, but only when he's alone," Dumbledore said.

"Which will be unlikely," Severus said as they went inside for lunch at the Great Hall.
